scam email
Yesterday an email poped out on my phone’s screen and I was bothered then when I saw it at a glance about deactivating my acct and it came from yahoo. It so happened that I just remembered that email just now so when I checked it I realized it that it’s a scam. As you can see on the attachment, it says that I have to update my email giving something like html to open to update my account or else my account will be deactivated. Pls allow to review my complaint, this might be able to help other yahoo account user. I know you can do it! Thanks!
email refreshing issues
When accessing a Yahoo email account from Google Chrome, every time you try to refresh the page (either by clicking the refresh circle or by pressing 'm') the account time-outs and you need to log back in. Oddly, it does not do this is you refresh chrome (by pressing fn f5 for instance). I've been testing this extensively for the past half hour and it boggles my mind.

I am as angry as I sound. I sent attachments by email to my client, the attachments are NOT, I repeat, NOT the [censor]ing same as mine on my screen. Not once, 3 times. Don't give me [censor] like it must be an error. I changed to Gmail, and it worked just right, no problem.
The error includes the following:
-Wrong format
-Some lines fly around and decided to sit somewhere else in the document
-Some lines fly around and decided to fly away, straight up gone
I opened the file on my own laptop, everything is fine.

I have been trying to get CAS of my all mutual funds from my yahoo mail, but not receiving. Even today i tried to get online four times and thrice from cams customer care who confirmed me that they have sent successfully, but I did not receive from either side.
Also I tried to get pass word to install et money application through my yahoo mail but failed. Then i tried to get the same through gmail and I got instantly
It seems there is some technical of Yahoo server side or elsewhere. Kindly look into the problem and arrange to provide me solution to receive of my all mails.

I have had my small business websites with yahoo since 1999, recently Yahoo allowed a third party to shut down one of my websites without my knowledge or permission while still charging me for service. This third party is claiming they shut my site down because I didn't respond to an email, which they sent to an unknown email address, to verify that my information in my account was the same. After all these years, I have never had to do this before. If my info changes, I contact Yahoo Small Business. If I had received the email, because I never heard of this third party (ICANN), I would not have opened it. I asked for credit for the time period my site was shut down and no one will comply. They are bouncing me around from one company to the other and have added on yet another company (Tucows), I believe for me to contact. Which of course like the others will not answer the phone. I have since done some research and found that I'm not alone, there are other victims. I'm reporting all companies involved to the Better Business Bureau and that's just a start. Please beware of Yahoo, ICANN, & Tucows.

We own a small hotel business in yazd, iran. Most of our customers are foreigners, non-iranians.
Our mode of communication is by email & we have been doing this for the past 4-5 years.
Unfortunately lately someone has hacked into our account & asked our customers to transfer the money by western union to his account.

I, Dr. Ramesh Chandra Das, Associate Professor of Economics, Katwa College, WB, India, want to draw your kind attention with respect to the fact that my yahoo mail account ([protected]@yahoo.co.in ) has been hacked on the 5th day of October, 2017, at 5.20 pm (nearly) by some cyber criminals. They have used my mail ID and sent many emails to my network showing that ‘I am in serious trouble, frustration like that and needs your favor..’. Those (of my friends/colleagues) who have replied to this email, the next reply mails from the hackers claimed money of Rs. 40-45 thousand citing that I (Ramesh Das) is in hospital with his daughter. One of my close allies then, cleverly, asked them to send your bank details so that he would transfer the same amount. The reply mail then shows the account of a person named Mr. Zoramsangi of Mizoram (copy of the mail attached).
Besides, the data from May, 2016 to October 5, 2017, have been deleted from my mail inbox.
After repeated changes in my pass word I could not process any mail till the late night of the same day. On 6th of October, around 11 am I opened my yahoo account and immediately changed my pass word. Now it is the issue that I am able to send emails from my account but no mail is entering to my inbox. I then opened the settings, Accounts and found that there is a mail id probably created by the criminals in my name with Hotmail service and all mails have been directed to be forwarded into this Hotmail account. I replaced it and added my own old yahoo account and one gmail account. In spite of that no mail entered into my inbox. My yahoo account has many connections with large number of academic persons in India and abroad.
You are thus requested to officially make enquiry so that I can protect myself and the persons in my circle from any future inconveniences. Also help me or you do from your part to recover the lost inbox items. Thanking you

Helpfory.com reads yahoo mail...I received an email saying my Yahoo account was going to be deactivated in 1 hour from opening the email if I don't reply to them.
scott78a Replying to them also confirms to Yahoo that they are someone you are in correspondence with and so they are more likely to deliver to your inbox. That's why they always do the "if you don't want these emails, forward it to..." It's to get Yahoo to whitelist their address.
@Yahoo - if anyone is reading this... I really need the ability to delete emails based on a rule. This is something you can do in Outlook. "Email is from x, delete it." Don't move it to a folder, don't mark it as spam, just delete it.
@Yahoo - It would also be great if I could filter or block email based on IP address. The latest helpfory email came from 192.95.50.175 in Barcelona, Venezuela. There's no reason for anyone in Venezuela to send me email.

This can be done in a Linux tool called iptables, I've successfully used it on my servers. I'm not sure why you guys don't do something similar. Russia - blocked. China - blocked. Italy - blocked. And so on.
Just got an email from them about my upcoming email account suspension;-) I was going to reply with an "F you!" but thought better and found this thread. Do not ever reply to them, doing so just lets them know your account is active and that's when they start spamming you.
At least the email is in my spam folder and I surmise any further ones will hit it as well.

First of all it can't be blocked. It's an invalid email address. Second of all I have complained to yahoo about helpfory.com and they won't do anything about them. I believe yahoo is generating those emails and most of the vulgar $ex spam. I've also reported to spam@uce.gov and havent heard anything back from them in almost a yr. As far as I'm concerned I'm done with yahoo and using my Gmail instead.
I use Yahoo mail and get spam regularly. The big problem is that even though a sender's address is BLOCKED in the Yahoo options, I'm still receiving spam emails from them. contact@helpfory.com is in my list of BLOCKED but that doesn't seem to be working.
Go to settings on the right-hand side of the screen.
After hitting it choose "more settings".
On the left-hand side choose "security and privacy". Once you choose that option the page should have an option to block the email address.
To block an addresss hit "add" and enter the email address.
I have done that numerous times to block emails from contact@helpfory.com and it doesn't work. They just keep on coming.
I've done all of that, doesn't work.

It is the government email address to report SPAM. If enough people report it they will investigate it and put a stop to it.
getting in my account
I'm trying to get into my account that u hadn't looked at in a few months. So I forgot what password I changed it to which shouldn't be that big of a deal since I used only 3 passwords for anything, and I have then memorized. For some reason none will work so I tried going through the steps to help reset it, but it says I need to send a code to a number I don't use anymore; and it so t let me change what number to send it to. It then says it'll send a vertifacation code to the email I'm trying to get it. Do you realize how stupid that was why would you send it to the email I'm trying to get it instead of just letting me change it. receiving spam in my inbox
I have never had as much spam come to my inbox like I have in the past month or more. I can't tell you how many years I've had yahoo as my mail provider but it's been a huge amount of time . I have been paying for it for many years also. Perhaps the sale of Yahoo was not a good thing after all. Oh well I guess I can go with another provider if this continues.

For about two weeks my inbox in the yahoo app does not show all my emails. I can only see new emails in the unread box and then when I read them they don't show up in the inbox so I can't delete them. I've tried to sign into my yahoo account and the key icon doesn't work so I have to try to use the phone text but the instant I switch to my message to get it and return to the screen to input it your system throws me out and I have to start the entire process all over again. If you're going to force me to use a two step process would you at least make it possible for me to do so?

On July 8, 2017 Emily Campbell wrote an article entitled "These Mysterious Photos Will Startle you..." through Teddy Feed that Yahoo published in which she referred to the "colored children" in a school photo.
I had hoped we were beyond referring to African Americans as "colored" but I guess not.
I suppose Yahoo will say it was paid placement and they had nothing to do with the article but I think that's a total cop-out. If Yahoo hyperlinks to something or posts something, you are responsible for its content.
unable to get my draft letters on screen and some times non of my email will appear
Please can you check my email server out as it is possibly slow or broken as I cannot use my email to send letters as many bounce back and I get blank pages for my incoming mail some times : I all so have found I cannot get my draft mails on screen or my spam (which I have now trashed )

Just of recent I began to receives undelivered messages quoted "MAILER DAEMON "without sending any mail. Then on 22nd September 2017 I decided to log out my account from yahoo mail mobile apps which comprises of three other mail boxes but since then I have been unable to access my account again. Every effort made in recovering account fails, setting of my mail through my other mail box couldn't help. I decided to open new account but was told my account already exist and every time I logged in I was always told my account is not recognised or exist. Please kindly help me with useful information to assist me in logging to my account.
