Yahoo! email blocking doesn't work / mail block list

Just today I hand typed 40 email addresses to the blocked list. Took a break and refreshed my mail, checked the blocked list and none of them were there! Why can't I find any of the emails that took me at least a half an hour to put in? Time to find another email that actually has a working block list. Yahoo is becoming worthless and security is extremely lacking!

Can any individual /company advertise without your checking that they're factual ? This ad goes out to anyone with a Yahoo email account. It's fraudulent on so many levels I wonder how it got past you?

If you're not prepared to validate advertising you put out, you should stop advertising!

Yahoo! new yahoo email

I do not like the new yahoo and I am forced to use it. How can I get back to my old one? When I receive an attachment it opens on the side and you cannot see all of it or you have to download it to view it and it adds to your hard drive bogging it down. When I want to go to the web page I have to go out if yahoo and go to google. On the previous version you had a choice on the search line. When I want to archive something it does not go to that folder.

I do not like the new version and I would like to see these things changed or I would like to go back to the old version.

Extremely disappointed in the new version.

Yahoo! your ads in upper right corner

Of course you have to include ads in order to make your business profitable;
But I have complained about some of the ads, continuously, for the past several weeks.
Somehow, some way, you got the impression that I wear women's clothes, and so you bombard me with these flashing photos of clothing, bathing suits, etc, of women's clothes, all the time. I click on the "I don't like" button, many times a day, to no avail.
You thank me for making Yahoo better, but the ads still come. Why?
The flashing makes me very uncomfortable, even irritable.
Please show me how to change the type of ads that I get.

Yahoo! vile racism on your news comments

Hi, I want to complain about the level of vile, racist trolling which is prevalent on the 'comments' section of your UK news posts. I've been onto a news posts just now about a couple murdered in Jamaica and the level of racism directed at those who live in the country is upsetting and deeply offensive. Yahoo should be either taking action against those posting or prevent comments altogether. What are Yahoo doing about this problem exactly?

Yahoo! loss of email account

I trusted you to provide me with an email account and you have ceased my access for no valid reason.

My email account was [protected]@yahoo.co.uk
Apparently you have ceased it as you can no longer provide an account for people under 16. I am not under 16. I am 52. It has never and will never be used by someone under 16.

I understand you had obligations under the new law but this law did not mean that you had to irrevocably cease the account when you find what you though was not true.

You are demonstrating that you can not be trusted with any serious communications. As you might suddenly choose to misinterpret a piece of information and cease an account with no recourse. I am a Charity and wanted people to attend events organised through this account. All of our advertising is now wrong.

No wonder people are leaving the platform.

I will be complaining to the regulator about your behaviour.

Yahoo! yahoo inbox emails disappeared, request to restore ignored

About a week ago I opened up my yahoo inbox (an account I have had for 20 plus years) and found my emails in my inbox had dissappeared. I have since placed 2 requests to restore the inbox and heard nothing. There were some important email documents in there and I am very concerned that they have been lost.

The same has happened to me.

All I get is generic answer saying they can not help as they can not provide services to under 16's.

The fact that I am 52 seems irrelevant to them.
What it is showing is how little Yahoo care for users personal data and that they are not to be trusted with anything beyond frivolous usage.

I understand that they have obligations under the law but the fact that they won't backtrack when they are wrong proves my point entirely. I bet very many people had valuable data in their inboxes that Yahoo are now refusing for no valid reason, to let us access.

I will not be letting this pass.

Yahoo! customer service/helpline

I called in on Sunday to get help logging in to my email. I talked to Andrew Smith and Raymond Parker. They are two of the worst customer service agent I have ever dealt with. When I spoke when I to speak to a manager I was transferred from Andrew to Raymond who preceded to try and talk over me the whole time I was trying to explain my problem and then after I told him that he was doing so told me that I could [censored] off and then called me a [censored]. I have never been so disrespected especially from customer service and all my life I will never use another Yahoo service again and I will make sure every person I know knows how awful the helpline service is. I ended up losing out on close to $1, 000 for a phone that was apparently hacked into the email and sent to a different address I explain to Andrew and Raymond that the phone is the email that I was needing, they proceeded to tell me that the email was hacked and so knew there was a chance that this could happen. I cannot believe that Yahoo would allow workers to talk to someone like this that is trying to get help from them. Raymond told me multiple times that I could [censored] off, that I was a [censored], that I had no money, and many other derogatory things. As a manager and a customer service representative I would certainly hope that you guys do something to rectify this situation so no other client or customer has to deal with this kind of service.

I use internet explorer... Period! Yahoo now trashes ie because yahoo no longer supports ie... I have forwarded my email to gmail and will drop yahoo mail if yahoo refuses to support ie! Ms includes ie in windows 10... I use a desktop and laptop and not a [censored] cell phone for internet! Everyone I know is ready to trash their pc and go to mac as soon as their pc's go obsolete... Wake up or good bye both to yahoo and ms...!

Hi, I've been exposed for criminals who are attempting to blackmail me for money through posting of videos of me with obscene and incorrect heading on flickr. Even though I reported this almost 24 hours ago, the vide and profile is still up, which I find unacceptable. Yahoo! web hosting

I've used this company for several years for several websites. I even stayed with them when they messed up my accounts switching to aabaco and I had to start all over losing everything in my connected email accounts. Recently Yahoo cancelled both of my websites claiming I didn't obey the policies. I've done nothing new and none of the policies go against what I've done. I got a message claiming my information isn't current but that isn't true.

After canceling me I learned I can't get a refund nor will they give me the code to transfer my websites to another company. I feel ripped off and abused. I was doing business using those emails and now can't recover my information saved there and some accounts with other companies will not allow me to change my primary email accounts that were attached to those website. What worst is not even having someone talk to me about the direct infringement I supposively done so I can prove or be disprove the issue.
I'm mad about not getting refunds especially when one recently renewed but furious that Yahoo will not give me the codes to transfer my own domain names!

I think yahoo has deleted my account. I am not able to sign into my address because when I try, I get the message that they do not recognize the name. None of the measures mentioned in the help section on their website have helped. I sent several emails to the help line, but I get no response. I really need to have access to this account! Why do they pretend not to have heard of me, after I have had this account for at least 4 years?!
