Yahoo (Chase) Credit Card / Aggressive tactics!

On Monday, October 1st, 2007, I called the Yahoo credit card customer service to close an account that I had applied for online because of a promotional of $30.00 credit toward 1st purchase. I decided that I did not want to purchase this particular item and I didn't want this credit card. The representative in the close account department proceeded to go on and on about having to report this closed account to my credit report as some sort of threat. I finally had to tell her to stop talking. I have never experienced something so insulting as having to close a credit card account and being harassed for it!

PS: The whole office where I work heard the conversation and was shocked! I had her on speaker when I could not believe it myself...
