Xpress Redi Set Go product doesnt work good

I bought the express redi set go at the end of January and even then I had problems. I tried to make something using the time in the recipe book but when the timer went off my food wasn't done. The cooking times aren't correct. Then the nonstick coating started rubbing off along with the lettering on the unit. The last straw came yesterday when I tried making an omelet. It never got warm enough even after ten minutes. What a crappy crappy product. I wonder how much the people that do your infomercials are paid to endorse something that won't last a year. They obviously aren't doing it because the product isnt a sound product. I hate to admit it but I got scammed by a little old lady and her horrible worthless product.

Xpress Redi Set Go false advertising

I placed an order for the redi set go on Saturday. The whole transaction was automated and I should have known something would go wrong but I kept thinking I would have the option to speak to a customer service representative at the end. At the end of the order the automated machine asked if I wanted my card to be charged 1 payment of $19.95 today and I accepted. On Sunday night a got an email the order had been processed with no information of the $ value. On Monday my card was charged $180.00. After calling customer service I was told that I ordered 2 sets of the product and some items which were supposed to be free were not. I cannot cancel because apprently the order already shipped. Now all I can try to do is refuse the shipment before it arrives at my house. All I can say is beware! I have learned a very valuable lesson. If you can't speak to a live person, something is very wrong. Beware of all the offers for free stuff...they are not free! and most of all beware of redi set go, it is more trouble than it's worth

Xpress Redi Set Go RIP-OFF tons of charges

I had the same thing happen to me as everyone else. At the end of an excruciatingly legnthy sales pitch for every extr under the sun, the recording never asked if all the information was correct and did not go over the order. I hept saying "No" dozens of times and yet came back with extra items. I ordered two sets of buy one get one free with no additional items and instead of $80.00 and S &H ( and it was never revealed as to just how much that costs!) I was charged a whopping $180.00! They said I could return 2 but they would only take off $40.00 and that I would have to pay the shipping back to the company. No decent company charges for returns, they should include a packing slip with it already paid. I was also charged for extra pans which I never ever ordered! After the first question on the phone ( automated) I could not connect with a person. After calling up their consumer number, the person was never clear on what was charged, it was all a big blur of a scam. I have never had this problem ordering from TV before. I don't know what else to do to get some of my money back. After my initial charge I will contact my credit card company and tell them to out a hold on any additional charges they attempt to charge in their scam of additional pans and extras that you have to call up and cancel if you don;t want it. You'd probably get it anyway and it would be too much shipping to send it back! Their scam is mostly in the shipping charges.

This company will not stop continus to charge evens after items have been returned no credit to my account. They will charge me for items not recieved too. After call the number they state to call [protected] you get recording with no valid propts to help they state thier hours and mention there close! What a rip off I truly hope this is not happen to anyone else. Please help

i had recently ordered a special that was advertising redi set go cooker buy one get one free, free kitchen gadgets, , , on an informercial, The price that was advertised was defiantly NOT the price this company i believe it was suppose to be a total of 3 payments of 49.95 call now WHICH I did and they would cut price in half, well i received my package in the mail, and needless to say i did not open it right away. My Grandmother passed away and just a lot going on, but when i did get my next months credit card statement it was $154.50 REALLY that is WAY off the advertising price and when i called about this it was over 30 days and all i got was im sorry, nothing we can do.and on top of that yesterday i received another pkg for $49.95. Somebody needs to do something ASAP ! This is ridiculous !

I CALLED TO ORDER THIS PRODUCT VIA PHONE. WHILE ON THE PHONE THEY CONTINUED TO TRY AND SELL ME EXTRA PRODUCTS THAT I DID NOT WANT OR NEED. I SIMPLY WANTED THE SPECIAL THAT WAS ADVERTISED. I CONTINUED TO TELL THEM THROUGHOUT THE CALL THE ANSWER WAS NO TO EVERY EXTA PRODUCT. WE WENT OVER MY ORDER WITH COST, SHIPPING AND PAYMENT DETAILS, AND MY FIRST BILL WAS TO BE IN THE AREA OF $50, WITH ONE ADDITIONAL PAYMENT IN 30 DAYS. UPON RECEIVING MY PACKAGE, MY BILL WAS OVER $100 AND HAD ALREADY BEEN BILLED TO MY ACCOUNT. THEY HAD SHIPPED ME EXTRA PRODUCTS THAT I DID NOT ORDER, AND CHARGED ME SHIPPING HANDLING FOR ALL OF THE ITEMS. ALSO WHEN I WANTED TO RETURN, THE ITEMS I WAS TOLD I HAD TO PAY SHIPPING FORALL THE ITMES, WHETHER I ORDERED THEM OR NOT.

I gave as a gift and now it's usless. The speciality pans that are supposted to come with it really don't and they don't tell you that the xtra one comes with nothing. I opened the first one to try it out not knowing that the one that was a Christmas presant came with nothing. I was totally embarrased. Here I thought when I called it was just a mistake, when I called they said that's extra $19. plus shipping and handling. Why did they make it sound like it had everything the first one had. When I bought the other one it did. This is a rip off and so are the recipes. $14.95 a month most are yucky and fish.

The xpress redi set go was a complete hoax from beginning to end. After viewing the TV ad I ordered the product by phone; the order was taken by an automated recording. According to the ad, the company was offering two cookers for two payments of $19.95. The automated recording offered additional items for free, so I said ‘yes, ’ but was charged for all these items later. For phone orders, the product company typically gives you a total that includes tax and shipping at the conclusion of the purchase, but they asked me to conclude the purchase without giving me the total. I hung up the phone out of discomfort and suspicion. Then I went to website to complete the order and followed the same steps. After completing the order, the company emailed me an item-by-item bill with items I didn’t think I had added. The total bill was $137.45 including shipping and handling charges of $45.75. I got anxious and forwarded the email to their customer service three hours later (on Sunday), asking them to take off three items I didn’t order and to send me another total, but never received any response from them.
The phone call and the web order were considered two separate orders and processed. The confirmation on processing the orders was emailed to me along with three spam emails for each order. A security expert in my company confirmed that the spam emails came from the xpress company. I called the credit card company to stop the payment, but it was too late. So I ended up having four cookers from two orders. The way the products were delivered was strange too. I gave my current office address over the phone and over the email when I ordered the products, but they were delivered to my old office address, with a stranger who does not belong to my company at all signing the delivery receipt.
This is not the end of the story. After paying for two orders that cost $141.61 and $137.45 each, I called the Xpress customer service (Chris), who said that I could return the products but they would not pay shipping and would not refund the $84 in shipping and handling. When I complained about the spam emails, Chris kindly advised me that I really need to be careful about spam emails! I kept getting the bills for a club membership I thought I had cancelled with Chris, so I called the customer service again to clear the bill. The whole transaction started in September 2017. In the middle of March 2017, I received an overdue balance bill for the club membership from a collecting agency. I called the company again who cancelled my balance and who gave me the confirmation number. It is the worst nightmare any consumer can ever imagine!

Buyers beware! When I ordered my new Xpress oven I clicked to get more info about Cathy's Recipe Club. Well conveniently it charged me $15 for the recipes and shipping and handling (yeah $5 shipping for a a coupon book, really). In the shopping cart there was no way to remove the charge and then to my horror I found out they will charge me an additional $15 every 60 days. I called to get the charges removed but conveniently they get their first booklet because it is already in the box. Word to the wise. You may get out of the 20 minute sales pitch for the extras when you use the web over phoning in your order, but at least you don't get charged for stuff you don't want. Is $15 extra really worth the scorn of customers like me who actually love their little oven gadgets and have ordered them before.

I have the same complaint as everyone else so far. I called i [protected] to order one item and had to listen to and order several other items before it moved on. I was not sure what I had agreed to by the time the phone call ended as I felt sure I would be able to speak with a human at the end of the call...but that never happened. In fact, I was never given the opportunity to confirm my order, talk to anyone about my order or even receive a confirmation number. In addition, I was not able to change my order, cancel or find out any information at all about my order. Calling the customer service line got me no help as they are closed on the weekend and I have not received an answer from their online customer service either. Sad, because the product looks great and I was excited to have it and now I just want to cancel the whole thing!

I purchased for a Christmas gift. when we opened the box no inserts or spatula was included. I was embarrassed. never would I have given the box unopened if I knew it wasn't complete. when can I receive the inserts and spatula not good the way it is.

I called to purchase this product on Nov 17, 2017, while waiting on the phone I decided it would be easier via internet. So I placed order on website. When I checked out there was an additional charge for a membership that added on an additional $39.95. I emailed customer service right then asking to have the charge removed or cancel the entire order. On Nov 18, 2017 about 6:00pm I received a call from a representative from Redi-Set-Go telling he can place the order for $59.70 he would give me $10.00 off for my trouble. I would just have to call monday morning and cancel the previous order there was no way it could be shipped by now. I called to cancel the order right at 8:00am est and was told the order had already shipped and could not cancel so i tried to cancel the second order and was told it was not in the system to call back later. I called back an hour later and was then told the second order had already shipped and could not cancel it. So you tell me something can ship in an hour and con't be stopped. So now my total is $200.00 for something I wish I would never have ordered. I will go to the Better Business Bureau and the bank to do what ever I can to stop these people from ripping anyone else off.

Totally agree! I was on the phone for like 20 minutes listening to all kind of junk. All I needed was to order the Redi-Set-Go and get my confirmation number and hang up. But I never got a confirmation number. Now I need to return it because power button was broken and I have to get a merchandise return number. I wonder how long it will take for them to call me back since you can never talk to no one on your first call. I'm none with this .

i ordered xpress redi set go, over the phone.i didnt get to talk to a live person.i gave all my info, and by the time i got to the end i dont know what i ordered.i dont even know how mush it was all going to cost me.well this sucks.i will make sure and pay the money to stop my order from going thur my bank.this is not how you sell some thing.it should have a note telling people about all the ### that goes with it.you dont worn people about it before hand.well we will never do this again, thats for dam sure.shame on your company for trying to cheat people!

Xpress Redi Set Go cancelled product

I called and cancelled the product the day after I ordered it which was a Sunday. They kept sending me emails stating the order was being processed and then shipped. When I called the customer service line they said they record every call but had not record of my calls to cancel. Thus they shipped the product. They said to refuse the product upon delivery but I will still be charged for shipping. Over $80 for shipping. I told them that there better not be one more charge on my credit card. I feel this is a fraudulent company and they conveniently erased my calls to cancel so that they could get the shipping charges.

Oh No! This is Sunday and I just cancelled the order I placed yesterday. Customer service told me it was taken off my account. I am keeping my fingers crossed. This is the dumbest thing I have ever done. The recording does not give you a chance to say "NO" and keeps adding more and more things to your credit card, ie recipe club, more pans sent every other month and a WalMart credit card. I kept saying "NO" but this was an automated call and no response. They get your credit card number at the beginning and there is no match to the advertisement on TV (no free stuff and extra pan at no cost). I WILL NEVER DO THIS AGAIN!

Xpress Redi Set Go misleading

I saw the ad. I liked the idea and made my order since it is a TV product not available in market, I received my package and I had to pay $ 162.20 (product 94.70 P&H 67.50), one day after I received the package I saw the exactly same product at the Canadian tyre for $ 36 only. because they are fooling people they did not mentioned to the Canadian consumers that it is available in the canadian market, moreover they guaranteed our money back but to pay shipping and handling which will cost us double the product's price if we return it.
I don't know how these people understand business, I feel that I shouldn't touch their product, may be I will donated but I will put all my efforts in order to let people know that this company is far away from the business ethics

SCANDAL! delivered the parcel incomplete, and card collected more than $57 was on offer.each month from my credit card illegally recover $14, 90 after me for some worthless books ( a few pages) Maybe finally some sort of govermental institutions that deal with the illegal cheating people out

I ordered the product. It was a Sunday. The very next day I called the customer service line to cancel. Then I got an email stating that the order is being processed. I called again. A few days later I got another email stating the order has been shipped. They have charged my credit card. I called the credit card company and they said to call the company again. The representative on the phone said they record all calls. But there was no record of me calling to cancel and that if I didn't want the product then refuse shipment and i would still be charged over $80 for shipping. I called the customer service line again and she still argued with me about there being no record of the conversations. They conveniently have the call I placed about the extra pans, but seem to have misplaced the cancel order calls. I will be sending the product back refused. I hope they will do the right thing and refund all of my money. But i doubt that. BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT, YOU PAY 2's as much for shipping as you do for the product.

It seems that too many products distributed by this company, Stanley Jacobs Inc., are making suckers out of those who continue to purchase them. As one previous poster stated, if it's not in the stores where I can return it if something goes wrong, or I can't use a money order I won't buy it. Charging a person over and over and over again for the same product or one you didn't order is beyond crazy. Time for this company to be shut down.

Xpress Redi Set Go outrages price and double order

This company is ridiculous, I tried to order the redi-set-go by phone which is only automated, no actual people to talk to and go no confirmation of an order by phone or email for days, so I called their consumer service number with the same automatic no actual person to talk to and waited another couple days and ordered by the internet with no confirmation emails, received an email right away from online order that they had my order, the next day they were shipping order from phone, not online order that was never confirmeddddddddddd and when I complained by email, since their auto phone complaint doesnt work they answered 4 or 5 days later and since they didnt answer in time they shipped both orders and are charging me 16.95 for each item I ordered, I ordered, but they have me down for 4 so not worth buying this item everrrrrrrrrrrrrr at this high charge of shipping, I send things to Pakistan, 15, 000 miles away in a war zone are there and it doesnt cost me this much or take they time it does for them to send and confirm and it is a 3rd world countryyyyyyyy, I will debate the quadruple charge for shipping at BBB, inform consumer credit and with my charge card because the original charge for shipping is so high I might as well keep the other two for what it will cost me in shipping if they will not cut that from the bill because they are so inept at running their own business, or smart to run such an awful scammmmmmmmmmm DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY IT IS A BIG RIP OFF!

I ordered the Redisetgo cooker over the telephone and was told I would get my conformation on my e-mail address. I gave my E-mail address and never received my confirmation. When can I expect one. I was to receive two cookers per the add on the TV at a price of two payments of $19.95. Will I be receiving two cookers as advertized. I will be awaiting a reply.

Xpress Redi Set Go Overcharge for stuff not ordered

We saw the Xpress Cooker advertised on TV, and decided it'd be good to get the kids one for fun. Went to their website http://www.redisetgo.com and of course the only thing mentioned was the cooker. We ordered one. But what we didn't know at the time was somehow they added this Recipe Club thing to our order, for an additional $9.95 plus several more dollars for shipping! And wait, there's MORE! It's a Club. So they will send even more such useless recipes every two months for MORE MONEY! And if you think this is bad enough, no, WAIT, there's more! If you want to return this thing you didn't order, you still have to pay them shipping! And you have to pay to ship it back!

It's an absolute SCAM. I am simply shocked that Gaiam is related to this outrage.

I ordered the redi set go and the order said 69.80. I did not look at the confirmation until I saw in my bank that the charge was for 84.70. They charged me for the recipe club 9.95 and 5.45 frt. I had declined this option. It is a shame that this product is being merchandised by crooks. I find it hard to believe that the spokeswoman would abide by this theft. I will be refusing the product and denying the ccd charge.

What a ###ing ripoff! Cathy should be ashamed of herself for selling this kind of crap and then ripping people off of their hard earned money! All I wanted was to get what was coming to me. I bought two of the piece of crap machines and I should have gotten all the accessories that came with one. What the hell good is one if you don't have the stuff to go with them? Shame on you, Cathy. I hope you sleep well!

I bought the rediset go and got to use it twice and the darn on and off button broke. It could of only happened by getting bumped in the cupboard. So in my opnion it is very cheaply made and not worth the money spent. Very very dissaopinted!

I will never buy another one of their machines. I waited for a year, finally threw the dumb thing away! Their customer service is non compliant. Shame on the company! Everyone should boycott this company.
