Xlibris is NOT only a rip off when it comes to publishing your book, but they are very rude and disrespectful once they get your money. I purchase their 'Custom package which included Editing' services, when I returned my manuscript back to them several times, it still was NOT up to par..Even when I turned in a picture of how I wanted my book-cover to look like, they send me one back with two ears sticking out of an eyeball. instead of an angel with wings..Then they released my book before I even got a chance to get my Author's copies and five days after my mother died. When I asked them about my royalty check, they laughed in my face and said, 'My books was not selling...The saddest part of it all is, I told my life story about being abused and I feel like I'm going through it all over again, only this time, it's not by one of my family members, but by a company that don't even speak 'English and thought my life story was nothing but a joke. After I realize they rip me off, I didn't get 'Angry' just decided that I would NEVER use their services again Nor would I refer my worst enemy to them.

How stupid and incompetent is FBI. Can't they see these heart-eating crooks and criminals?

I had my book published in June 2013. I only received a small check for 24.55 and know that my book is selling. I have seen numerous sales on ebay. Someone needs to hold Xlibris accountable. They will not return my calls or emails. My wish is to get my book released back to me. Never will I do business with them again. The company is a scam and after research I learn about how they have done other people. I would like to participate in the lawsuit with the others...The Princess...

I left FriesenPress because of crooks and liars and now I am will Xlibris for two weeks. Have already talked to their Manager and few people to honor the terms and conditions but in vain. The manager even did not bother to reply my email.

The publishing industry is full of crooks and scammers.

I agree. I know of several people who has ordered my book for their book club, and I know that when it came to the royalties, I was definitely short changed. I have invested in their marketing campaign which I feel was in vain and a waste of my money. Had I done my homework, I would not have dealt with them at all. It's nice to see and know that your book is advertised over seas and with all the sites that's it's on, I'm sure the royalties shouldn't be as meager. When they call or e-mail me about their campaigns and so-called sales, I now delete and hang up. No more dealings or investing with Xlibris for me! I am happy that my book was published and I did make a few dollars from it. No, I didn't expect it to become a best seller or become rich from it, but I didn't expect to get ripped-off either.
