Wyndham Resorts / All points lost after 18 months

All points earned in Wyndham Rewards program (formerly Trip Rewards) are lost after 18 months of inactivity with no notice given by the company. I was never notified of these terms and lost over 56, 000 points worth a substantial amount of money. As a small business owner I needed a room for frequent trips to supervise a construction project located 300 miles away. Part of my decision to always stay at the local Days Inn was participation in their rewards program. After my experience with loosing all points - for my next project which will involve lodging for a crew of 7 - I will NOT patronize any Wyndham property. Their pettiness has cost them a repeat customer for life!
