A new website has been put up called viaddress.com. They supposedly offer mail forwarding services. I was researching this market as there was a product I wanted to purchase that was only available in the US. I came across this gem, viaddress.com. The primary thing I found was that on every website, viaddress had dozens of five-star reviews, even when major websites such as Amazon only had a handful. Doing a bit more searching I found that viaddress was paying people to write positive reviews of the company, even if they had never used their service!

It includes what to say, what websites to post on, and even how to mask your IP address so it does not show as Spam. Many of the "reviewers" that posted positive reviews for viaddress posted bad reviews for the company's competitors, again even though the probably never used them. Why would anyone deal with a company that has to engage in such tactics?!?
There are a lot of other red flags too. The address provided is at a UPS store, not an actual business location.
Also, the viaddress.com registrant information is concealed behind a host proxy, which is not something most legitimate companies do. And many of their graphics are taken right from a competitor's website. This company is bad news and should be avoided at all costs.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
So Ms Sarah Van [censored], since your co is the GLOBAL LEADER IN PACKAGE FORWARDING. Can you tell me why is it that I couldn't get any response to my request in your online helpdesk which is the ONLY means of contacting the company!? I paid for an EXPRESS SHIPPING to Singapore a week ago and to date my items are still being processed? That's not EXPRESS SERVICE AT ALL!

I am no competitor, but yet another victim of this online FRAUD.
Should Sarah Van [censored] like to talk to me or any others that complain here, I invite her (or is it him?) to publish herein a telephone number that answers to our calls.
Beware! Avoid using VIAddress!
I have sent 1800 emails to viaddress and made atleast 300 phone calls about my package that they have since 19 Nov.
However, NO RESPONSE.
I guess they have already wound up and run away with the loot. Don't forget that there was huge inflow into viaddress due to the holiday season, esp thanksgiving.
I am now 100% sure that the people behind viaddress are professional thieves. They never steal your first or second package to gain your trust but the moment you ship an expensive one after that, it will be gone.
I am preparing to file a formal complaint against these scammer and prevent them from fooling other people like us.

we are a Saudi LLC that work as a shopper and we use VIAddress about 3 months ago and we find it very good except some delay in processing shipment.. nothing else. we try many other mail forwarding service provider however we find them are the best...We have near to 400 customers register with them and they are satisfied with service.
They got my parcel since 24th september and they don't answer e-mails, i just go fooled...

This complaint is definitely FAKE ! No wonder Swissshopper can't provide a tracking # to prove that his package arrived at Viaddress.
The IP location under his fake review shows that he's from the United States, not Switzerland :) :) :)
I'm 100% convinced that it's a Viaddress competitor who left this fake complaint :) :) :) :) :) :)

Mohamed, I am not a competitor, I am posting here and chose my name based upon the actions of this despicable company. First they build a website stealing graphics from Borderlinx, and then they pay people $10 to write 25 reviews of them. They have posted on their website three addresses, all UPS stores. They have a proxy server. Then, when all this gets exposed, they remove the website offering to pay people for reviews, remove the stolen graphics, change their address and their server. And then they have the nerve to threaten the people that exposed them, while revealing private customer information! Sorry, this doesn't fly. No professional company, and few legitimate companies, would engage in such tactics. Their actions are reprehensible; they are simply upset because they were caught and exposed. And so long as they continue to engage in such tactics I will do as much to reveal what they are doing as I can. There are lots of legitimate companies out there that offer this service, and I don't care which one people use-- Bongous, myus, Borderlinx, usa2me, they are all good companies that earn business the right way-- by having happy customers and earning trust and respect. But the actions of viaddress are so reprehensible that I do have an interest in trying to dissuade people from using their service.
This is pathetic...
yes, I love viaddress! I like dealing with companies that post fake reviews of themselves, post negative reviews of their competition, steal pictures from websites of competitors, I highly recommend them! We will use them for all our important shipments of unicorns to our customers around the world.

Wow, it seems viaddress is really trying to do damage control; unfortunately the damage is done. I saw the posted page before viaddress deleted it, and they gave specifics on how to block IP addresses, but all of the sudden they think that cannot be done when somebody posts a claim about their company?!? Let's just say their deductive skills are note quite up to par, to match their maturity.
They just changed their address in Indiana, which from Google Streetview appears to be an abandoned warehouse; the other two listed addresses are at UPS stores.
Now they are going around giving negative or disagree ratings to all negative reviews of their company. Really?!? What is this, third grade?!? I wouldn't trust my $1000 laptop to people who act so immaturely.
And to top it off they go around threatening people who expose them, even though they engaged in the most likely illegal activity of paying people to post positive reviews of their company. And oh-by-the-way there is no such thing as the Information Technology Act, and in fact as someone with a legal background I know there is nothing they can do to stop people from revealing the truth about this company. All they can do is threaten, and they do this because they are scared of the truth, and hope people will be scared. Let me assure anybody out there that they cannot do anything from a legal perspective, so please state the truth and don't be scared of this bullying company. They are simply scared of the truth, and what it will reveal about their company.

1) First of all, anyone can see is this user "cyalater" is located in the United States. We can all see his geo-location under his fake review tagged by his IP address.
QUESTION: Why would anyone living in the United States look for a Mail Forwarding service to forward packages outside the United States? He could have simply shipped directly to his home address in the US !
CONCLUSION: This proves that this user is Competitor trying to negatively affect the brand equity of the Viaddress Company.

2) Viaddress does not lack positive reviews; our Personal Shopper service on Ebay is considered the largest of its kind in the United States, with over 1000+ completed concierge orders on Ebay since 2006:
