The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

They billed me $150 when i was only reviewing site.They allowed my 8 yr old 2 go on this site n do things. I informed them n they would not reverse charges!I dont have this kind of money to lose.I had $40 left after that and no money for my electric bill.I expressed this 2 them several times that what they were doing is illegal!They didnt take these thigs into consideration!I feel so helpless!I am being charged $150 and dont recieve anything but an option to bid on things i will never order!Please help!

If anyone has access to the radio or television stations. I believe we could definetly get the ball rolling to shut these people down. I can definetly get it rolling in my own home town, but how fast they are scamming people it seems like we need a bigger news station. Like what was mentioned before 20/20, they live for this stuff! I will do everything in my power to get this company to shut down! Complaining is one thing but actions speak louder then words! So i'm interested to hear if anyone out there might know whom works on the inside of the major news stations that would love to hear all about this scam of theirs! ? please contact me mmudd7@gmail.com...

I also was scammed by Swipebids.com. They were double charging me for each transaction I made with them. I sent a copy of my statement to them to prove if, and they still said that I was not double charged. They were only showing one charge. I have looked them up on the BBB and found out that their rating is an "F". I have made a complaint with the BBB and several others. The BBB has sent Swipebids my complaint as of today and working to get this resolved. Below you will find the link to where you can also file a compliant. Once the BBB sent my complaint to Swipebids, they cancelled my account; along with 1200 bids I had built up. Good luck getting your money back as well.

I'm sorry everyone. I actually purchased a HP ProBook 4720s from swipebids.com. It arrived at my address in 8 days. I paid the $150 for membership. I won my HP for $22. With shipping and currency conversion to AUD, it was $34. This computer retails for between $1200 - $2300 in Australia. But i have also purchased other items that i have not received. All up on swipebids, i have spent $542. Even if i don't receive my other products, i would be quite happy with the ProBook. I still basically got a discount of around $600+. I'm happy. You can check my tracking on that item. I'm in the win list under quiksilva. The tracking code is for united states postal service. I was also scammed out of $150. Can't tell you how many times I tried to get it back and they don't budge. If anyone out there starts a class action suit please count me in. It has to stop. Yhey are such a ripoff. I hope that anyone reading this knows how to help us all. I am writing to the Attoorney General. It's a start.

I don't understand why no one looks up these website before your hand over your life savings, especially you social security people? Do you think these people care that you can't pay your electric bill, buy meds, feed your grandchildren, etc.? They are in the business of making money. If you are trying to buy something below market price, you are likely at the mercy of a scam. Google the site first. How do you think I ended up here? I'm sure your bank can reverse the money if you can prove fraud. It can't be any worse than that idiot Video Professor that billed everyone $79.99 for a dumb video because no one returned their 'free' video within 10 days. Good luck to you all, and please be cautious next time. Gees!

This site is a fake website www.Netyes.com and www.Hostluck.com they collected money from me and refused to set up my account with them... You can read all me and them chart on top.. They always given me a lot of stories and also not straight far wad.. They ate my money i paid to them ... The worst parts is all the phone contact in that website is fake... Almost 6 to 7 countries contacts are there but non of them correct.. Wrong wrong numbers.. You can try by your self... And i told them that i will make a report concerning this their site... That is why i posted every thing i chat with them...

I got scamed to and when i contacted them they said i agreed to pay 150.00us to play and they charged my credit card another 150 for my benifit to bid they are nothin but scramers you cant win . What should be done is all scamed need to file class action law suite to go after them .I never agreed to any charge to my card .Who would nowinly pay 150.00. Not a lot of people know that though. maybe you know from experience. But a lot of us aren't aware but it's agood time to get the message across. I too was fooled and i harrassed the bank to give me my money back for something unauthorized/. we definitely need to get something organized against these people.

I just harrassed chase bank to give me my money back.
Eventually, they did after i called numerous times.
When i asked if they had any complaints against the company swipebids, they ignored my question and didn't hesitate to give me my $150.
Regardless if i got my money back andsome of you didn't, i think something still has to be done and other people will fall for their crap.

I were lucky, because at the last minute i didn't click to submit button, so scammers didn't have my credit card info. I believe that Domain Name: SWIPEBIDS.COM have changed their info. Or swipebids.com amd quibids.com are 2 different companies. They are created at different time, location is different and swipebids.com are listed without ANY names, but quibids.com has Matt Beckham as SEO. But Matt Beckham might be fake name, so who knows.

FIrst of all it is ALL of your own faults for not checking it out before you entered a credit card number. Second, instead of [censor]ing that you lost your money, just call your banks or credit card company and have the funds reversed. I am 32 years old, and yes I live on a fixed income, and no I am in no way stupid.
I have evaded every scam produced for the past ten years. Never have I been suckered into any kind of purchase. I have only purchased things that I needed, and always got my monies worth. .
Please Note... I did not agree to [censor]!
I want to see every single one of you predatory capitalists placed in a hurt-locker, then put in a mine field. Then we can say it was your fault for blowing up because you tried to drive out of the mine field. Only difference is once your [censor] is blown up, all of us can live a safer day to day life because we wont be preyed on by [censor] like you.

Like I said, I in NO way agreed to any terms and conditions. No where was it made obvious that I would be charged to "look" at the service.
Similarly I was left with 40 dollars! on a credit card I had to shut down in order to stop them from charging me some more! 150.00 gone in an instant... 150.00 of emergency padding, suddenly stolen from me without any kind of care. Even though I two begged them to rescind the transaction, told them adamantly that I never wanted to purchase anything. And they refused a refund... that says they plan not to satisfy the customer, but only to snag cash. I mean [censor], even eBay and Paypal have a better refund policy... have you heard of any reputable company, even a poker site with as predatory tactics of refund?
I am not in the business of losing my money to shady websites, which goes to prove that I was scammed, not stupid! A huge difference between me and most that complain here... I don't apologize for investigating... I am not apologetic, no where have they crushed my spirit into thinking I in ANY WAY deserved my loss. I dont feel I was foolish, I believe I was flat out SCAMMED and DEFRAUDED. I don't feel I own and apology to others for "being stupid or being a fool". I was not stupid, or a fool, I was simply the victim of crooks.

Plus (again not sure about sqipebids) on Quibids you can APPLY THE COST OF YOUR BIDS TO THE RETAIL COST OF THE ITEM AND LOSE NOTHING. NOTHING! Sure the retail cost is a bit inflated on some things. But, for example, if you are going to buy a 50 dollar walmart gift cards ANYWAYS, why not buy 50 bucks worth of bids, and if you win it for less, great! You have bids left over to bid on something else. And if you spend all 50 bucks worth of bids and lose, you can still apply the cost of the bids to the gift card and all you end up spending is the 1.99 shipping. The makers of the site even say RIGHT ON THE SITE that the best strategy is to have full intention of just buying the product cause then you have NOTHING TO LOSE.

I'm not sure about swipebids, but being a regular member of Quibids, I can tell immediately just by the layout and fonts that its the same company. I'm going to assume they are basically the same thing. Attention all reading this garbage about Quibids (and possibly swipebids) being a scam. ITS NOT A SCAM. THESE PEOPLE ARE CHUMPS. Quibids is EXACTLY like poker. You pay to get in. If you spend your "chips" foolishly, you walk away with nothing. The house ALWAYS wins big in the end because the VAST majority of you [censor]s out there fall in the category of those that think they can just throw a few chips (at 60 cents a pop) on the table win big it for next to nothing, competing against experienced players. IT DOESNT WORK THAT WAY. In poker, if you want to win big, you need to study patterns and habits of people at the table, you need to know who to stay away from because they are rich/have huge balls, and you need to know the best time to be at the table... ALL this you should do before you drop ONE PENNY. Like poker, its not straight roulette style gambling, there's a TON of strategy and psychology involved. Like poker, there is STILL a lot of luck involved. And like poker, you gotta know when to try and sneak in at the last minute, when to try and scare everyone away at the start, and especially when to hold em and fold em. I studied quibids for 1-2 hours a day for almost 10 days before I placed ONE bid. I made a comprehensive list of people to stay the #$%# away from. I figured out the best times and days to be on. I learned patterns and strategies. Hell, like poker, where you can count cards if you're slick enough, you can even count bids and use it to your advantage! I personally am not the greatest poker player. I win a ton of 20-75 dollar items on Quibids (for between 2-25 dollars including shipping) but I dont have the resources or the balls to go all in on the big items where you need to spend about 150-400 dollars in bids to win a $1100 TV for example. So I recognize my limitations and I stick within them. My friend who got me into this however is a GREAT poker player and he for example won a 1000 dollar Canon Rebel for 12 bids. (60cents a bid=$7.20+the auction winning price which was roughly 75$ plus shipping. Altogether less than 100 dollars.) All those who claim to have been scammed above... You are QUITE LITERALLY, COMPLETE LOSERS. Don't cry about your losses. Use a few of those brain cells and learn from your mistakes. You make me sick.

PS: and no I don't work for Quibids you a-holes! I wish I did! I'd be fricking RICH!

And to those that say "it's clearly stated, I don't know how you could have been duped." Uh no... it's not clearly stated. It's clearly stated that a 1 year membership would cost $150. It is NOT clearly stated that by clicking "Start Bidding" that you will be charged for that membership. Nowhere does it say that by clicking "Start Bidding" you will be charged for the membership. And there isn't an option to NOT be charged. This goes against all other website standards.

The membership information is contained in it's own block. Just as the "you can win these items" and the "shipping information". The implication of the heading in that section of "Where do you want your winning auctions to be sent" is that you are filling in information for that purpose only.

If you want to argue that since it states on that page that a membership costs $150 that it's assumed you will pay that amount, then I will argue that since that page ALSO contains a list of items to win that by clicking "Start Bidding" I will also be mailed all the items listed with my payment of $150.

My bank has credited the amounts back to me and sent my case to Shazam to investigate. Hopefully Shazam knows how to use google to see the numerous scam posts about SwipeBids otherwise they can decline the fraud accusation and take the money back from me.

Yes INDEED I was scamed too! I can't believe I fell for the one cent per bids crap. I never saw it coming until I checked my bank account to get some money out and there was no money left in it. I've been so broke all week and I won't have any money until my bank turns it in to the fraud department. DON'T BE DUKED BY THIS SITE!

I was duped within 10 seconds! I am fairly "tech" savvy and spend a great deal of time on the web. Swipebids.com is SLICK! Really SLICK! I am glad idvanepps read the entire page (as I should have) but the sign up process is so well designed I am certain more have stumbled than avoided. The moment I realized what was happening I immediatly contacted the "chat help". I realized in about 2 minutes that bird wasn't gonna' fly. Immediatly called my bank and disputed the charge. They cancled my card and within 7 days I had my $ BACK. My recomendation: 1. Skip swipebids.com, 2. If you are caught immediatly (and I mean immediatly) call your bank and dispute the charge/cancel your card. 3. Do not interact with ANYONE at swipbids.com and do not log back into their sight. You can also unsubscribe from their SPAM. This happened to me about four weeks ago and at this point all has been remedied.

Why in the world would any of you people give your credit card information to "anyone" without finding out if it's going to be charged?
I too was looking for an item on the net and landed on Swipebid, I read everything on the page...it totally states there is no refund...so that must mean they were going to charge my credit card if I gave it to them... But before I would ever sign up for anything that required payment from me, I look elsewhere for complaints and explanation of the site. That is how I came across this site. Luckily I will not humor their site and be another victim thanks to you, but seriously, DONT GIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD OR BANK INFO IF YOU DON'T WANT TO LOSE YOUR MONEY!

SwipeBids.com is a scam!

Its proven.

I created a false/fake account to test their systems and whatnot.

And if you decide NOT to pay the $150 and just have a membership with 0 bids, they will keep on sending you e-mails with their “promotions” showing/displaying products with 0 bids and starting at 0.00.

Since last week i have already received 3 spams for them to ask me to sign-up, which means pay the $150.

I have already filed a fraud complaint with my bank, and they had to block my current card and generate a new one for me.

Unfortunately that’s all we all can do, somehow SwipeBids are located out of US, they are located in UK, however somehow it links to Jesse Willms’ Just Think Media in Alberta- Sherwood Park, Canada.

Add me to the list of those persons casually shopping for an item on-line, landing on the Swipebids.com website (supposedly offering the GPS unit I want), filling out the Swipebids registration form in order to bid, providing credit card information without a clear statement that the credit card info was being provided in order to purchase the $150 “membership” and with no invoice to confirm I wanted to make the purchase prior to my credit card being charged $150.

I’ve been around and around with the Swipebids live chat help. All they will do is continue to point to the “clear” information about the $150 membership, and then provide a link to their burdensome and time consuming refund procedures. I don’t have the time nor the interest to stay active on Swipebids for 30 days, bidding on items I don’t want just to use up the continuous stockpile of bids that are accrued with each sign in to the site.

I have sent a complaint to the Florida Department of Consumer Affairs in regard to the nefarious and possibly illegal business practices of Swipebids.com Florida laws allow a consumer to cancel any “home solicitation” contract within 3 days of accepting the contract. It is my contention that Internet purchases qualify as a “home solicitation” because the sales representative (the registration page) comes into my home via my computer monitor, the sales representative makes an offer, and the contract is made on my home computer. It may be an interesting debate for attorneys and the courts to decide whether my interpretation of “home solicitation” applies to Internet purchases and that consumers are entitled to a refund when the contract is canceled within 3 days.

I urge all Florida residents that have been scammed by Swipebids to also complain to our Department of Consumer Affairs. I would also urge you to base your complaint upon a violation of the Florida “home solicitation” consumer protection laws in that Swipebids will not provide a prompt refund for the $150 “membership” fee.

In regard to the business address for Swipebids.com, I happened to notice in an introductory email after registration that an address for the company is provided at the bottom of the email:
