ReptileCity Ripoff..shipment never sent

March 11 Placed an order # 60003 for a Tarantula @ 16:58 EDT .
Received email confirming such. April 19, 2021 Requested an
update @ 1:59 pm as to the status of my order # 60003 April 23,
2021 Received an email from "Nina" @ 11:54 am stating she
"would look into Order # 60003" April 23, 2021 Received an
email from "Tyler Baum" ( Lead Customer Service Rep) @ 1:10 pm
stating that "he would look into order # 60003" April 23, 2021
received another email from "Tyler Baum"( Lead Customer
Service Rep) stating " I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Let me look into it."
Todate May 4, 2021 there has been NO replies, no answered calls NOTHING all for $ 50.00

Desired outcome: refund

ReptileCity The timely delivery of my order

Reptile city reptiles has deceived me on the reptiles I ordered and continues to lie to me about my order and when it will be delivered. Please note that my credit card red flagged them but i'm a trusting person. Next time I will deny payment.

The headache reptile city will give you is not worth the order that could have been made at a reputable company that stands by their product.

I will never never never order anything from reptile city because they are a rip-off!

ReptileCity Don't buy from this company!

I honestly think that it's a terrible idea to deliver reptiles the way you do it.
They are alive and they can easily get sick.
I ordered Albino Red Ear Slider (it was my first order). I was assured that the baby would be placed in a special box and would be delivered carefully because it's a special type of delivery that has different demanding.
But in fact, when I saw the baby, it was barely moving and looked really bad, like he was dehydrated. In general, all those promised conditions were just words.
The baby is fine now. But please, never order animals online.

ReptileCity Inhumane behaviour towards animals

We ordered 2 bearded dragons by mistake. We called the owner to have it cancelled but he refused. He shipped 2 dragons in a regular USPS box, a small one for a book. The dragons were wrapped in newspaper, no air holes, and one had a black broken foot. Owner refused to refund us our money and instead is shipping 2 more dragons. We called to tell him we didn't want them and he said it was too late and hung up the phone. This man is a terrible person. Very rude and a complete idiot. This place needs to be shut down immediately.

ReptileCity Don't order from reptile city.

I ordered a white California king snake from ReptileCity back in November. But when the snake arrived it was dead! I contacted Reptile City customer service immediately and even sent them a picture of a dead snake. It took many calls and messages and they finally offered me another snake. They sent me a snake which was a regular black snake and valued only $70. I contacted them gain and complained that I paid $130 for the white one! I said that I received a snake that was not the same type I originally bought, so I want my money back. They said I would be refunded $60.00. I was happy and even thought that their customer service is pretty helpful. But, no. I never received my money back. I contacted PayPal and opened a claim against them.

ReptileCity People, who work there are really strange

I bought two frogs from the company www.reptilecity.com, but the seller sent me two reptiles. I contacted him and told that it wasn’t what I ordered. He didn’t even excuse and told me that I should be happy that I got the order from them. I was shocked and didn’t know what to say, and this guy hung up on me. It was the worst and the strangest experience in my life.

ReptileCity They sent frogs in simply box. Too cruel

My son wanted to buy frogs from www.reptilecity.com. I placed the order, but these scammers failed to provide order on time. We got it with 3 weeks delay. As well as the frogs were placed in simply carton box and I have no idea how they were still alive. The company is awful and it was too cruel to send frogs like this. I won’t advise to buy from them, as well as I will be glad if someone can stop them and close the company.

ReptileCity My turtle died after couple of days

I bought turtle for my daughter from the website www.reptilecity.com. I placed order on the website and I didn’t receive them, but I decided to ask about their diet and how to care about them. The rep didn’t reply. I wasn’t satisfied and sent them more and more emails. After that I got my turtle, but it was thin and sick. I tried to get any help from these ###, but my turtle died after couple of days. So I decided to warn other people. Don’t buy from these jerks and liars.

ReptileCity Someone should shut them down

I purchased a Mississippi Map Turtle from this company and they emailed me telling the turtle would be shipped out on the 7th as overnight, because shipping was 19.99 for overnight. I never received a tracking number so I emailed them back and they told me that they were shipping him on the 8th do to a delay. they finally sent me a tracking number and told me to call the. The guy I spoke with had a attitude because he said I emailed him too much. Which I sent 4 emails because I heard nothing back and go no tracking number, but he said he just shipped the turtle on the 8th and gave me the tracking. I went online to check and it said 2-3 day priority shipping. I called the post office and they told me the package takes 2-3 days to arrive because they sent it priority. I told him it was a live turtle and they said the shipping didn't state is was an animal because it is manditory that animals are expressed mailed overnight. They paid arou $6.00 to ship the turtle and he has been the box since the 7th at 11:50am. It is the 9th at :45pm and he still has not arrived. I hope he is still alive. I would never order from this company if I were you. Animal abuse. Someone should shut them down.

ReptileCity I would never recommend doing business with this site

I would never recommend doing business with this site. I was shopping around for a baby tortoise to add to my family and stumbled upon this website. The price they had listed seemed to be very nice, combine that with free shipping (reptiles normally are shipped for between 25 and 50 dollars!) I was eager to buy from them. The only problem was all their baby tortoises were out of stock. I contacted by email and was told they would search for one. They found one a few days later, after I finally contacted to ask if they had found one yet because they had not contacted me back. I was thrilled and called right away. To my shock they had tacked on an extra 60 dollars to the price of the tortoise, bringing the price to 250 dollars for the single tortoise. I felt that I had to purchase the tortoise because of all the work I assumed they had done to track down a tortoise for me. I gave them the 250 dollars. I then did not hear from them for almost another week, delays and not being able to communicate with the breeder they said. I was furious. They eventually did email me and say that my tortoise was being shipped, but unbeknownst to me, they had him shipped 2nd day air, which meant he would be in the cold october weather for 2 days instead of just overnight. I paid SIXTY extra dollars and they STILL couldn't ship my tortoise overnight?!?! When he arrived he was very cold, not moving, on his back, I literally thought he was dead, they had not packed a heating pack in the box so he'd been at the mercy of the weather (this is a desert animal that needs temps in the 80's and 90's to live, the temps at night were in the low 40s!) He was also covered in his own poo because they had fed him apparently right before he left, and they had put a wet paper towel in the box with him, so he was cold, dirty and wet. Worst of all, this "baby" tortoise I was supposed to get, turned out to be a poor little one year old tortoise with a bad case of shell pyramidding and runny eyes. These are indications of very very bad care at his breeder's home. The wrong kind of food, the wrong kind of heat and light, the wrong everything! None of the supplies I bought were big enough for him, I expected a 1.5 to 2 inch BABY and got a 3.5 inch yearling! I will ALSO now have to replace 70 dollars worth of supplies.

In all, this place has cost me 250 for a tortoise, 75 for vet visits that still aren't over because of his condition, 70 for supplies and another 70 when I have to replace them again! so a "189 dollar" tortoise turns into a 465 dollar nightmare. Learn from my mistake, NEVER use this company.
