As someone who has explored the offerings of Lashkaraa, I must say that the experience can be quite polarizing. While some customers have expressed satisfaction with the quality and design of their Indian clothing, others have faced significant challenges. Issues range from discrepancies in custom sizing and poor material quality to delays in shipping and unresponsive customer service. It seems that the allure of beautiful outfits is sometimes overshadowed by the frustration of dealing with these shortcomings. If you decide to shop at Lashkaraa, it might be wise to proceed with caution and manage your expectations accordingly.

It is my first ever review, just because of the incredible experience and the happiness I felt, I am writing this. Firstly, I want to let you know that I am not much into online shopping; I believe in shopping at the outlet stores after complete satisfaction. One of my friends recommended me to shop from Lashkaraa, as I was thinking to buy a new floor length Anarkali for my sister's wedding. Firstly, a big thank you to Lashkaraa team for their extreme dedication towards work and customer satisfaction. I was surprised and amazed after seeing the outfit that was delivered before the given date. I was, even more, surprised after looking at excellent couture and the premium quality of the dress. Thank you Lashkaraa for everything. Now, I will be following Lashkaraa for new updates and offers. Thank you!

I was very hesitant about ordering Indian clothing online again. I ordered once from cbazaar and the item I received looked nothing like the image they advertised and the fabric also wasn't what they listed. Before ordering from Lashkaraa, I emailed the customer service team asking for actual raw photos of the products, which they sent. This was reassuring for me to know I was dealing with a site which didn't mind going an extra mile for me already, without my money. They also show videos online of the products which is very helpful. I placed my order and I probably harassed their customer service team with the amount of inquiries I had but nonetheless the team was wonderful to deal with. I received my order within 2 weeks and couldn't have been more pleased. The item looked much more beautiful in person and I was happy to know I got my money's worth with this site. Will definitely be shopping again and I recommend to anyone looking for good quality Indian clothes.

I have never shopped online and was always scared of listening crazy things about getting cheap fabric and not what you wanted. But this is the first time I bought online and on Lashkaraa, and I got intrigued with it because they have a broad range of ethnic outfits at a reasonable price, this time, I was shopping for a family get together, and I decided to order a beautiful teal Anarkali Suit. When I got it, I fell in love with it! I decided to buy seven more pairs of salwar kameez for daily wear! I know I'm crazy but would never do it if I am not sure of getting the best outfits. I got them, and I am so happy I made this decision. The best thing about Lashkaraa is the customer service. I'm someone who needs an individual help, not just to order on the computer and get done, but I need my questions to be answered if I'm not sure. Whoever has seen my Anarkali Suit has asked about it and how beautiful the suits are cheap and as well. I highly recommend Lashkaraa for their complete customer satisfaction as well as their sportsmanship.

I found Lashkaraa when I saw the images for one of their garments from Pinterest. Unfortunately, at the time, the piece I wanted was sold out. I e-mailed Lashkaraa support and let the agent know I really wanted the item and if anything can be done. The agent I was in touch with, Praveen, let me know what I can sign up for out of stock e-mails on the product page and I'll be notified as soon as its stock. 2 weeks later I received an email from Lashkaraa and they let me know the item was in stock. I ordered it right when it was back in stock and I received the item 3 weeks later. Throughout the entire process, customer service was very attentive to my requests. What I liked most from Lashkaraa is that they send you a confirmation e-mail of your measurements. Basically, they have their tailors check your measurements and see if you've measured properly and provide suggestions so its a very useful service for someone like me who doesn't really know how to measure themselves for Desi garments.

Overall, it was a positive experience from Lashkaraa and I will definitely order again.

The designs and quality is great, I could easily spend double purchasing something of similar quality in a local store here in Canada. So, it is convenient to have other options.

Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

I have ordered from them several years ago which for the first time I ordered and of course then they delayed my order. I made a review about this. They delivered my outfits on Eid. Years later I gave them another chance and last year I ordered again and they delivered on time. So why not give them another shot this year. And i placed my order on April 9th. Ordered 4 outfits. Each of the outfits shows 15-21 ship days. 2 of the outfits i received in April. Then for the other 2 outfits on April 21st I receiver an email from them asking me to confirm the length of the kameez. So now I'm thinking oh ok they will be shipping this end of April since it is in stitching process. Havent heard from them since April 21st when I responded to them about the correction. May came and now this is 3rd week of may and no information about the shipment of 2 outfits that I have been waiting. I have been going back n forth with a rep name Shebaz Khan. Of course all they can say Sorry or they will give store credit for not meeting their promise time. Now on may 31st shows both of the items shipped under different tracking number... 1 shows to deliver June 4th end of business day and the other one shows no movement since may 31st. I havent went anywhere to shop since I spent my money on this site to deliver my outfits before Eid. How is this your "Eid Promise" when one of the outfit is being delivered end of the business day? Don't advertise such things. I have seen their answers about comparing other corporate companies like forever21 and all. They have estimated dates to show on their site. They even say how many days it takes to them to process and from there it is an ETA. That sure shows professionalism. My sister is in the same limbo. They cancelled 1 of her outfit and 1 arriving end of the business day on Eid. And now they do not respond back how they will compensate. On May 22nd Shebaz Khan said I will receive it before Eid or store credit n then on May 29th he says by Eid. What kind of BS is this? I have screenshots attached. I also ordered 2 more outfits on 2nd week of May. Same thing 15-21 ship days but no answer or movement. How am I supposed to be stress free about this?

I had the most disappointing experience of my life with Lashkaara. I had placed my order on March 6 for a total over 500 dollars for four dresses. Two were unstitched materials and two were supposed to be tailored to personal measurements. Firstly they took three months to send me my order (which I just received two days ago). I wasn't even informed or given any tracking number after it was dispatched which Praveen (in customer service) failed to do so.

I had ordered four items but I was delivered only three with the fourth missing (after waiting for over three months!) and I wasn't informed about it either. Upon my inquiry I was told that the fourth is still under production!

The worst is yet to come. When I opened the package I was stunned to see the quality of the fabrics, embroidery and stitching. CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP is the word. Not worth even half the money that I paid for them. I feel so cheated and duped. The custom made dress which was the most expensive order worth CAD $359.00 dollars had the duppatta lace ripped in one corner and its stitched so tight that I couldn't even get into it (mind you I'm a seamstress myself and I had provided correct measurements). There is no zipper or opening nor there is any material on the sides to alter it. The collar too has one edge smaller than the other! Now my money has gone down the drain as they say stitched clothes cannot be returned or refunded even though it is their fault that they didn't do a good job.

Lashkaara needs to know that they have to deliver quality stuff worth the money they charge and satisfication of the cusotmer is primary, not just collecting our orders. We are at their mercy once they take our money and its gone into their account. I have asked for a refund of the fourth order which they say is still under production after three months of placing the order. I want to return the unstitched materials as well and get my money back. I have written to Customer Service aka Praveen and awaiting his reply,

I had placed an online order with a Pakistani Designer for my daughter, paid half of the money that I paid for Lashkaara, received the shipment in a week, it was quality stuff, beautiful embroidery and materials, worth every penny... If you are looking for high quality and classy stuff then I would strongly recommend that you DO NOT ORDER from Lashkaara because you will be paying $$$ expecting quality but you will get third rate stuff NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY.

Highly recommend avoiding this company. I was incredibly disappointed in their customer service and almost ended up without an outfit entirely for my friend's wedding.

I ordered a lehenga to wear to my friend's wedding on 4/26. Customer service contacted me on 5/9, almost 2 weeks later to say there were a few issues with measurements. I answered their questions and thought we were on the right track. Two days later, I get an email saying to disregard the last email and that I had to answer new questions. This was a little frustrating, but still no big deal. However, they let me know that now they were not able to complete the blouse because the ready made fabric wouldn't allow for my size. This is ridiculous considering this is the size I ordered on their website. They were reportedly only able to make it 4 inches smaller than what I had ordered. There was apparently nothing they could do, so they asked me to pick a new lehenga from the site for them to make.

The customer service representative didn't give me any guidance on what lehengas could be made in my size--a 12/14 US. They just referred me back to the site and said to repick--considering I had originally picked a lehenga in my size, this was a fruitless endeavor. At this point I was incredibly frustrated but wanted to see it through--the wedding was at the end of May so I wanted the whole process to just be over with. I sent the customer service representative a list of 5 lehengas that I would accept. Their next reply was just that all of the lehengas I chose were not able to be made by the wedding and shipped to me in time and they asked me to go back and pick from the Lashkaraa collection. This was never relayed to me when they asked me to choose a new lehenga. At this point, I was more than done dealing with this incredibly unprofessional company.

I sent an email asking for a cancellation and refund on 5/14. Someone in their shop dropped the ball again and didn't cancel the order. Ultimately, the order was canceled when I reached out again on 5/28 to ask when I should receive the refund. I got refunded back to my account on 5/29.

If anyone from Lashkaraa is reading this, I'd like to say that you left a lasting impression with your poor customer service. There was no real attempt to make it right, and any apologies I received only mentioned that you were sorry about "my measurements." This is unacceptable--my size was available on your site, I ordered in enough time that there should have been something you could have done. Instead, I had to scramble to ensure I had an appropriate outfit for my dear friend's wedding from another vendor. You turned a potentially fun and exciting experience into a nightmare and I will be sure to share this with any of my friends that may have been potential customers.

This company is a fraud. I generally do not give bad reviews and I am big online shopper but in this case the experience was so bad that I felt it worth while to leave a review so that others dont get cheated. The good reviews given for this company must be reviews that the company bought for itself. I got tempted to buy from them because of these reviews but had such bad experience. Very Very bad customer service, outfit measurements and attitude. They are cheaters. Will keep your money, give you outfit that will not fit you because there measurement team has specific way to work and then argue with you that its your fault you didn't notify us properly what you need. The website outfits are very different from what they look in person. Also they are rude and very ill mannered. If you cancel an order because there measurement team did bad job on other outfit you ordered, they keep processing fee and keep your money. Its all about money for this company. They dont even care if you can't wear the stuff they delivered. Plus they have very bad attitude. Customer service agent named Rahul didn't had basic manners. Will never buy from this company again and will suggest others to not to buy from them. I will be glad if I can get my money back that I wasted on this company. $239 ( on outfit I can wear and $22 for outfit I cancelled and they charged me processing fee for return , when I didnt get any outfit and didnt return anything either. They say you can return the outfit but they will charge processing fee for returning and also returning shipping will be on you, so basically you are paying more to company for returning and getting nothing in return from them and that too when its their measurement team mistake.

I have ordered from this website before, so i TRUSTED IT BUT IT DOES NOT SEEM TO WORK. I am trying to write messages on the live chat, left them many calls, tried to email, made payment, but i do not have any response. My money is sitting with them and i have not received the clothes nor an order cofnirmation . I received the item on the 29th and tried it on. Immediately noticed several defects in the item and let the seller know within hours with pictures of the defective item 1)The placement of the Bra pads are totally misaligned. The right bra pad almost reaching somewhere between shoulders and my armpit . The left pad is somewhere way off and folded over inside and the folded pad is stitched over the liner . 2) The pic shows a beautiful salwar will a nice patiala style This one is NOT a patiala salwar. Its a totally different design 3) Material used is cheap and horrible . Salwar is a cheap thin satin nothing like the beautiful one in the video and picture 4) The Flare of the top has uneven stitching with excess material falling over the sides. They have stitched pieces of material to make up the flare versus one pice of cloth I have attached pictures of all the above issues and also shared it with the seller who refuses to acknowledge the problem. The pictures clearly show how defective the item is . They claim it it be a "CUSTOM MADE" product to avoid any liability and responsibilities. It seems to me like its a common practice for them to do this. No quality check is done as claimed by the website. Also The Facebook page of the seller has an address that belongs to another business and phone number that is inactive. I am attaching pictures of the screen shot of their page. Upon researching further I found several complaints about them and their fraudulent business practices on independent websites like site jabber, trust pilot etc . They only post glowing reviews on their page which is very misleading for future customers with false reviews. My review that I posted with pictures on their website was not published. This item is clearly a defective item and as a buyer I should not be responsible for their bad product . i will need a 100% refund and the seller needs to send me a shipping label to return it to them

I have ordered on may two dresses from lasshkaraa one age 4 years and the other for adult. It costs me about $300 Australian dollars
It has been while haven't received they keep telling me we will send you but never shipped.
I have asked them to full refund but they keep telling me there is technical problem from our company it is end.
I'm so disappointed never had any bad experience before ordering online.this is not only me lots of other people same as me happened wish I knew before ordering.
This company should be shut down.

I ordered Two dresses in March 2020. But every order first it was said oh this design when we sent for stitching the piece was defective and unfortunately this design is closed, please choose another one, then I chose another one and till now same answer. Then Lashkaraa team agent promised me to refund the money back within 10-12 days in August . But now when I asked why it's delayed the refund, the answer is same oh we have technical problems in refund. Every time they have problems. I don't know why they are making these kind of excuses. I really have a very bad experience with Lashkaraa.
Please see the attachment that they sent me on my email. I don't know how long I have to wait more for my refund.

3/2 I ordered earrings. 3/12 I inquired about when they would be shipped. I was told the next day. 3/20 I still had not received any tracking information and was told they were working on it and hoped to have them shipped by the weekend. At that point I asked that the order be cancelled and a full refund of my money (since they charged my card before they were even shipped). I was told it would take 7-10 business days to process a refund. 3/27 I received notification that they earrings had been shipped. I was told repeated lies and my wishes to cancel the order long before they were shipped was ignored. This is on top of a previous dress order where the dress was not stitched properly, there were no darts, the lining was not even with the dress at all. Praveen, the manager or owner was very rude and not professional at all.
I have copies of the chats but am unable to attach them.

Ordered a Punjabi suit from Lashkaras website. Took over a month to receive and once I got it..Looked like the product had be used. Dirty, the cheapest material, and marker marks inside the dress. Not professional. Very disappointed. Will never order from this website again. I advise everyone to do the same. Should have read the reviews first. The product comes from India.

I bought Langa custom made and it did not come out to the specifications I requested. When I talk to customer service they wanted to charge me for the item for replacement. I'm very upset as I needed this outfit for a wedding coming up. I feel that they do not understand customer service and do not want to help out their customers . I feel that they should provide me with a new outfit as I requested without a charge. I would even do it for a minimal charge but they are charging me 90% of the outfit for half of the piece that isn't fitting it doesn't make sense !

Contacted LashKaraa to get a refund and received not reply back! I sent them messages via their online contact form and also tried all the emails I found on their site and didn't receive a single reply!
Please I need help! Dress is absolutely terrible and very ugly, nothing like pictures and cheap looking, I really need to return it back. Maybe someone here knows how can I contact them.

I still can't get over the fact that is coming would sell their customer's account to a collection agency. A collection that doesn't communicate with with customer, doesn't send them any notices or make any phone calls. If you make a purchase using your credit card they will get all your personal information and file a collections report to your credit! Personal experience! I made a purchase in 2015, and now I am being told Lashkaraa sent my account to collections and reported to my credit.

I bought two dress from this site www.lashkaraa.com and my order was placed back in October. It is now late November and still no sign of my order. Customer service replied only once and they said that I need to be more patient. That was all they said. They did not tell anything about my order even thought I asked them about my order status and delivery date.
I'm still trying to get some information but they simply do not reply. I have no idea what to do.

Ordered a saree from this website LashKaraa and it took forever to get my order. Their delivery service is extremely slow!
When I finally received the saree it looked absolutely nothing like pictures on their website. First of all it looked very cheap, material was not the same as it was described, and the worst part was that there was a huge stain on it!
I contacted LashKaraa customer support team and asked for a refund. They said they wanted some pictures. Then they said that in my case they were not able to refund because these stains were not their fault. They said that I need to contact the delivery service because it was probably their fault! Terrible! Will never order anything from the again!

I have ordered an item from LashKaraa and my order was processed. Later I also received a tracking number, but when I wanted to track my order I found out that their tracking system was not working and it did not show me anything. I asked them what was going on and they assured me that everything was fine. But weeks passed and nothing arrived and now they are ignoring me and do not reply to my messages!

I ordered a dress from lashkaraa.com the indian website of amount 205 and what i get is such a garbage ! I got a completely different dress a cheaper one completely different colors! And when i try to contact them they ignore me... I lost my money and time .. Please be careful of this website !

Don’t deal with the company www.lashkaraa.com. I ordered black dress from them, but these guys delivered completely different dress. It didn’t look the same as on the picture. The fabric was also bad and coarse. I posted bad review on their website, but the owner deleted this post and removed my account from their webpage. It was awful and completely inappropriate towards me.

I bought 4 dresses from the company www.lashkaraa.com. It was a nightmare to deal with them. I spent over $500 for the dresses, but the quality was so poor and the fabric was thin and could be easily torn. As well as two dresses had the stain and it was impossible to clean them. I contacted the customer services, but it was useless. They refused to help and told that they sent me clean and good dresses. The services are really bad and it is impossible to get any help from them or compensation.
