I purchased a domain and hosting from hostingplex.com and it expired. They solicit me by email to renew the domain and hosting. I agree to renew but they had lost control of the domain. Of course i renewed hosting for the domain that came with it originally. I did not want any hosting without that domain. Now they refuse to refund my money despite that they cannot provide the domain that the solicit me to renew. There are many similar complaints about their practices as you can find from this posting --

From numerous other people that have similar or identical complaints. I am surprised they are a member of the bbb. I want a full refund because I was renewing a specific domain and hosting that they no longer have or they can provide. Here is the email they sent me soliciting renewal: Regarding biz-permits.com (a domain they no longer control) Original Message.

I’ve been a Hostingplex customer since 2005. Why? I’m not sure. It used to be because they were priced very low. That’s not the case anymore. They’re pricing is average for the market. It’s just not worth it any longer. The service is horrible. The occasionally reply to tickets and when they do there is little to no help. I’ve recently sent 3 emails and left a voice mail over the course of a week before I received a useless email reply. They’ve had a multitude of server problems which last for weeks. Many items on cPanel don’t work and they have no intention of fixing them. I am done wasting my time. Moving away from Hostingplex as quickly as I can.
