Global Industrial Good experience

I got a great deal on a drum sander motor. Global sent me a delay in shipping notice so I got concerned I had made a mistake. I read the reviews and became very concerned. I had not been charged yet for the purchase and through online chat I was told that would be the case until the item shipped. So I waited out the shipping delay partly because I could wait a few more weeks than normal. After a 2nd delay, I was about to cancel the order when I got an email stating the item had shipped. I was given a wrong tracking number for UPS because is was actually FedEx which I quickly learned from the online chat. I have seen many negative reviews for this company and so in the interest of justice I thought everyone should know that there were glitches with my order but I received the item and it works wonderfully. I will write a 2nd review if the motor stops working in the next 6 months or so.

Ordered 10 boxes of 10 capsules for $19.00 per box of 10. Got 1 box of 10 ripped off for over $200. Been 2 months now trying to get help.

I ordered a hand dryer from global industrial and they all work perfectly. Relatively cheap compared to what my contractor wanted to charge me. I recommend buying from them and then letting your contractor install for you.

Global Industrial Global Industrial is awesome

At my local big box building stores, mini water heaters can only be ordered online; but they were out of stock, for a month ? so I shopped around and found a great price at Global Industrial. I read the horrible review but decided to take a chance. I tried to place an order online, but as is often the case, it doesn't work from U.S. to Canada. So I called and talked to lovely reps in Georgia who directed me to the Canadian office in Calgary where I talked to Charles. After that it was magic. He placed the order for me and UPS showed up a few days later, right on schedule. Whatever you think you've heard ? Global Industrial is awesome. They have real people in customer service in both countries, who answer the phone promptly and help you get what you want. Call them!

Global Industrial WRONG PRODUCT DELIVERED

I purchased the following product on April 5th, SHIPPED VIA F.O.B. SHIPPING POINT FREIGHT
1 B Flash Furniture Mesh Back Drafting Stool - Mid Back - Melrose Gold Frame - Flip-Up Arms - Tracking#: *** (partial tracking # to protect privacy) / $266.95 S&H: 14.99 Tax: 19.74 Total Invoice Amount: 301.68. Order # ***
On 4/7/23, I received a chair but it was the wrong chair, not even close to the one I ordered. I called global industrial immediately, spoke with a kind and helpful rep by the name of Odessa S who took my info, and requested that I email her a picture of the incorrect product that was delivered. She confirmed it is definitely the wrong chair and advised she would contact the third party vendor who shipped the wrong chair and emailed the following to me:
I thank you for your prompt reply. Our vendor has been alerted to their error. Please allow time for the return label and fulfillment our your product. I shall be you updated until you are satisfied. Have a pleasant weekend.
I emailed Odessa on Monday at 10:08 AM for a status and this was her response:
Good Morning
Indeed, I have emailed the vendor. Unfortunately, there has not been a response at this time. I appreciate your patience and will keep you updated. So I sent this response

This is quite disappointing. I am pretty patient but it is unacceptable that your third party vendor has not responded to your request to send a return label. Therefore, considering that global industrial has received payment for the chair that I purchased, I expect global industrial to provide a return shipment label immediately so the incorrect product can be returned and have the chair I purchased shipped to me or I expect a refund.

It is not my problem that global industrial uses a third party vendor who is clearly not responsive to your request to send a return label and therefore, it is global industrials responsibility to provide a return label as you said you would if the vendor did not respond by the end of Monday 4/10/23. Odessa, I appreciate that my email has been noted. What is the plan for sending a return label so the incorrect product can be returned, and shipping the correct chair or refunding what I have paid?
After this email, she called me and asked if I wanted a refund or give it 72 hours to allow the vendor to respond, I told her I was really looking forward to this chair so I will give it 72 hours.

Hello, Regarding the incorrect merchandise you now have in your possession, more importantly, the correct "Mesh Back Drafting Stool". Unfortunately, upon conversing with our supplier this morning, there has not been a resolution. I do apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you. At this point I have lost all confidence that my order is going to be fulfilled and have yet to receive a return label for the wrong chair that was delivered. So this is the email I sent to Odessa

Well that is really disappointing and knowing there is not a clear resolution gives me no confidence that there will be one anytime soon. The wrong chair was clearly delivered and I have provided photos to support the wrong chair was delivered. The vendor Global Industrial is utilizing is clearly not capable of meeting your customer's needs. Therefore, I am requesting a full refund to my credit card immediately and I will find another company that can meet my needs.
Please provide a return label so the incorrect product can be returned.

Global Industrial 2 werner aluminum compact attic ladder 18"w x 9'10" - aa1510b; stock #640791

On 9/26/2020, we purchased 2 ladders from Global Industrial. We were excited about these ladders from them, but their customer service is some of the worst we've experienced. The two ladders arrived on 10/21/2020 and were delivered damaged. They were shipped in plastic and as the delivery man brought the package to our door, parts fell on the ground through the broken plastic. The packages are missing pieces, parts broken off the main ladder portion, and visual damage to the ladder makes it dangerous to even use. When we tried to contact Global Industrial several times via email (10/21/2020, 10/24/2020), phone (10/21/2020), their chat (which seems to be always down for anything regarding returns and the sales team just says to call), and Twitter, there has been no response.

We finally filed a PayPal complaint but Global Industrial wants us to pay for the shipping back to them where "The returned merchandise must be in the same condition as when you received it and you're responsible for any costs associated with the return." So we have to pay for shipping to get our refund, get nothing in return but wasted hours and frustration, for something that wasn't our fault? I'm sorry but this is not acceptable, and I am not willing to pay for returning these items because of Global Industrial's poor packaging practices. However, I am more than happy to return everything if Global Industrial would provide a return label. Given that PayPal does not allow for the customer (me) to object to this resolution, I provided no shipment information and my objection as to the labeling, which most certainly will cause further issues in PayPal providing the refund (which I am not sure they will even do now).

Recently, as a result of this decision, we have continued to reach out to Global Industrial via Facebook, email, chat, BBB, and PayPal. We are eagerly waiting a resolution where we receive a full refund. We are more than happy to ship their product back (though it says it is not returnable) if they want their product provided they provide return shipping labels (and even with that I doubt UPS will accept the item as is). Simply, we should not have to pay for something that is not our fault. Global Industrial can file claims against UPS to recuperate their shipping costs and damages to their product.

The packages arrived damaged with holes in the packaging, the cardboard with the template is torn on both ladders, the assist pole is missing from one bag, one ladder is missing a plastic part for the bottom of the ladder and the other ladder has mismatched parts which should not be the case on a brand new ladder. As the packages were being taken off the delivery truck parts were falling out and the driver had to keep picking them up and putting them back in. Please get back to us ASAP on how you will remedy this. We are also concerned about parts being weakened or bent if they were continually dropped.

Global Industrial rip off!! lies, short shipment, wrong product shipped, denial, horrible customer experience.

I purchased $5, 115.00 in racking 3 weeks ago. I was told it was all in stock and in the pictures you will see the sent me a shipping document indicating that all the product shipped complete. It did not, almost half the product is missing and as you see in the pictures they shipped a mixture of sizes. My warehouse receiving manger called them the same day to report the issues. The man at Global knew the order was shipped short, but he did not note it on any of the paperwork I received. Plus as you see in the pictures it is a huge mess because the racks cannot be assembled because the sizes are mis matched. The customer service person now wants pictures of the shortage, how do I picture a shortage. Their shipping person knows about the shortage. Terrible company to buy from and they have no idea how to get it right STAY AWAY! I ordered for convenience they have turned this into a nightmare.

Global Industrial 3 in 1 hand truck

I am in the market for a 3 in 1 hand truck so I did a simple google search and one pops up in one of your company's ads for $175 but when you click the ad it comes up for $219.95 like the old bait and switch maneuver. So I started a chat with someone and even sent how I found it with screenshots in an email and wasted about 45 minutes of my day for them to keep saying they cant sell it for the $175 so I will be sending this to the BBB

Global Industrial Order of material and shipping

I ordered some material from these ###. They instantly billed my credit card and sent me an invoice. They claimed that it shipped. The invoice contained a ups tracking number, in checking this ups tracking number, to this date 3-23-17, it still shows the material as never being picked from the warehouse to ship. After several emails trying to get correct information (Which I never did) , I told them to cancel the order and filed a fraud claim with amex to stop payment. After several days, I find that the package was delivered to the wrong location, using the wrong tracking. Again, the one on the order still shows it sitting in the warehouse. I cannot get these ### to come pick this garbage up, and like I said I have already purchased from another vendor. These people are horrible and I would recommend that you go elsewhere. First and last time I will use them. I have also suggested to our corporate people to never use them and black list them.

Global Industrial worst shipping experience ever!

We have ordered several paper towel rolls from www.globalindustrial.com and the ones arrived were wrong. Shape and size was incorrect, so we decided to send them back for a replacement. We contacted customer service team and they said that we had 15 days to return if we wanted to get an exchange. We immediately went to the post office and sent them back the same day we received them.
About 5 days later I received a confirmation from the post office saying that package was successfully delivered. But Global Industrial claimed they did not receive anything. 12 days later they contacted me and said that they finally received the package but since 15 days already passed they were not able to replace for the correct rolls. I asked for a refund and they refused and said that they'll send the incorrect ones back to us. This is the worst shipping experience ever!

Global Industrial They provided wrong order and refused to change it

I ordered paper towels from the company www.globalindustrial.com. I got completely different order. The quantity wasn’t the same as I ordered, but the seller tried to assure me that I got correct order. I lost my temper and desire to persuade the seller. It was really impossible to return the order and get new one. I also asked to provide money back, but the seller refused me immediately. Awful services and the seller is real idiot. Not recommended place.

Global Industrial The seller doesn't provide orders

I bought window air conditioner from the website www.globalindustrial.com. It was big mistake to buy from them. I didn’t get the order at all, but the seller assured me that it was sent and that the buyer got it. I tried to persuade him, but he stopped to communicate with me. Stay away from them and don’t buy, And share this info.

Global Industrial Non Delivery of Items

Systemax is a parent company of Global Industrial. There are 24 complaints closed with Better Business Bureau in the last 3 years, with 6 closed in the last 12 months.
I ordered the Big D Odor Control Fogger (item #B666898) from globalindustrial.ca, and paid for it on June 13th 2014. The item was never delivered to my door.

I was led to believe I was ordering from a Canadian site, and the product would be delivered within Canada. Instead, it took two weeks to have it delivered by UPS to a Canadian shipping address, which was then picked up by Canada Post and delivered to an address in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.

I live in Toronto, and my correct address was given, however the package never arrived. Canada Post pointed the finger at globalindustrial.com with which globalindustrial.ca is affiliated. I called and wrote emails to globalindustrial at: [protected]@globalindustrial.ca and 1.888.645.2986. Each time they reassured me that they would get to the bottom of it.

It is six weeks later and no one knows where the package ended up. I asked for a refund on July 25th 2014, and they said they would credit my VISA. However, globalindustrial.ca and their distribution center - globalindustrial.com - is a disorganized mess and gives poor customer service. They are not trustworthy as the 24 BBB complaints reflect. As well, the globalindustrial.CA website is deceitful in having customers believe the products are being delivered from within Canada.
