I ordered a convertible top from what I thought was a reputable seller on eBay. They had great reviews but it's all a scam. I had the convertible top installed by a BMW technician and within 2 weeks the window popped out of the vinyl.

I contacted eBay and opened a refund, which was denied. By the time I received the top and was able to have BMW install it my 30 day window was up. So I had eBay send me the sellers information. Their phone number when to a Dominos Pizza. Really? And they have all these positive reviews?

So after digging more, I found out that the seller name diamondmall is actually www.autoberry.com. What's even worse is after calling www.autoberry.com they said "it's a different seller" even though they are both located in Chatsworth, CA. Which by the way has a population of less than 40, 000 people. There's no way that's a coincidence!

Don't get ripped off like me. I lost $300 dealing with these companies...which are all the same!

Customer opened a dispute with ebay without even contacting us, when he lost the dispute here is the email we got

    Dear diamondmall,
I opened a case with ebay but it looks like I was past the 30 days. So here's the deal, if you decide not to return my money for the top I will hammer you online. I do internet marketing for a living, after I'm done with you, there will be so much bad press online that no one will buy your products.

Here's what I'll do just to start:

    1. Negative review on ebay
    2. Negative blast to all the members on Rv3 and e30tech (I'm a moderator)
    3. scam reports (yes plural, under several different names)
    4. Pissedconsumer.com negative review
    5. Consumeraffairs.com negative review

Basically when anyone searches for you in google - they will see all my negative reports losing you an exponential amount of business. Trust me when I say this is one customer YOU BETTER take care of.

You have 24 hours to respond and refund me or I will have my team start the process!

Yes, I threatened you. When you DON'T respond to multiple emails and requests and your phone number on eBay goes to a Domino's Pizza then the PUBLIC needs to know how much of a scammer your company is.

Furthermore, instead of fixing the problem you want to say I'm extorting you. Call your lawyer and see what he says. You sold me a convertible top that busted within one week of it installed, then you denied ownership of your eBay store (diamondmall) that has the EXACT same address as www.autoberry.com - YOU'RE A LIAR AND A CHEAT! People need to know!

INSTEAD OF FIXING the problem you want to keep dragging this out and making yourself and your company look EVEN WORSE. Why would anyone buy from you at this point?

I urge everyone that is reading this article to run to walk away from the scammer!

PS. It's funny how he says I NEVER TRIED TO CONTACT him but yet he has emails both from eBay and my email account contacting him. What a LIAR and CHEAT!

All he had to do is give me a refund. Now he has to deal with all of this. What a stupid business man!

I purchased a convertible top for my car from them off Ebay. They sent me the wrong top. I had a professional shop go to install it. They told me it was for a completely different car. I contacted them and told them. They told me to ship it back and they would refund my shipping fees. It cost me $109 cdn. to return. They told me to close the dispute on ebay and that they would send me a top that fits only once I close the dispute. Now... I am a professional fire fighter and integrity is a huge part of who I am. I felt that something didn't seem right. I contacted ebay and they told me not to close the dispute until I received either a refund or a new replacement top. I messaged this seller and told then I would keep the dispute open until I received what I was told. They did not contact me anymore. They issued me some of my money back and tried to keep a restocking fee. Ebay took the money back off them and gave it to me. They LIED to me and did not return my shipping fee. This company screwed up and sent me the wrong item. Now I am out over $100 dollars because of their incompetence. They also got the negative review I posted on ebay removed somehow. This company lied to me and tried to keep my money and the roof that I sent back. They are crooks. I live in Canada and it's not worth legal action. Hopefully someone will read this and save their money by not trusting or buying anything from these thieves.

We bought a convertible roof from these people through eBay, it arrived fairly quickly so thought all good.
Unfortunately, the window is coming away from the roof less than 3 months after fitting & despite having a "6 year warranty" the supplier refuses to do anything about this & says it's all because of how it was fitted. It had been fitted by a professional, and after having the roof looked at by an independent company, we know that the roof has a manufacturing defect (i.e. the window was not properly bonded to the roof).
The supplier actually said that how could they be expected to do anything if the roof had been fitted for 3 months? - What about the 6 YEAR WARRANTY?
The supplier kept going on about the retainers - in this case, the retainers are nowhere near the part of the roof that is coming apart, and the roof is not under stress. If that had been the case, there would be plastic on the roof material, or there would be roof material on the plastic.
The supplier also alleges that the material is Haartz Stayfast® - it is NOT - it is much thinner material and does not have the quality.
We cannot use eBay for refund as it's over 30 days (also not able to change feedback). We cannot use PayPal as the problem was not the payment; and we cannot get help from the Credit Card company, as it was also not to do with payment. This means that we are down by not only the full cost of the roof, but the cost of having it fitted professionally (which cost more than the roof!)
To sum it up, the supplier has extremely bad customer service and I would never recommend buying from them.
