On Jan. 4, my computer froze with only a pop-up boxes saying that my PC contained many viruses and infections, malicious programs, adwares, etc. I could not close out of one pop-up box without another one popping up. I had to shut down the PC several times. When I logged on, the pop-up boxes blocked me from trying to "restore" the computer. I tried to close out from the pop-up boxes and finally gave up after 30 -45 minutes. I registered for $49.00 for the software. When I got my credit card statement, it was for $99.85. Yesterday, I got some kind of weird pop-up box saying I had viruses. I tried to find the program for the World Wide Software BAKU AJ, but couldn't find in on my computer. Today, I searched the web and read the [redacted] about this company - World Wide Software BAKU AJ.
Please refer to my post was dated 2010, February 06 / SChang. I am not World Wide Software. I am a victim like youselves. I mistakenly put my home address instead of the software company. Does anyone have World Wide Software's address or phone number?
I was told by a reputable individual who is computer savvy to use AVG. It cleans the computer. I haven't tried it and it doesn't cost that much. :)
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I had the exact same thing happen to me. I paid $59. 95 and i got nothing. However, i've been scammed by people in ghana africa within the last 2 months and i think they have control over my computer. Thankfully i have windows 7 and it won't let me go on the internet as it says it's being monitored by a hacker and has 2 backdoor trojans. I'm going to take it in to be professionally cleaned, so be very careful.
World Wide Software Baku AJ does not prevent any computer virus.
THEY ARE A COMPUTER VIRUS! Their pop ups take control of your computer.
It's like paying a robber not to rob you!
I was charged $199.95 for magazines I did not order.
Our Government needs to stop these crooks from scamming our citizens.
I had plenty of issues with my computer, but PC Matic have taken care of all of them.
Support-Unit.com Baku AJ (based in Ajerbaijan) somehow got my credit card # only four days after the hiring of PC Matic and charged my account $105.95.
Same thing happened to me and this morning i contacted my bank and they told they could've replaced it if i would have told them with 90 days of the action. Now im screwed out of 80.00. It said VISTA SECURITY 2011 when i purchased it but on my bank statement it read HUGEPCSSECURITY.COM BAKU AJ
Hi there

Same thing happened to us. Computer was frozen/hijacked, and paid $79.95 to broomguard.com baku aj to solve problem. Paid amount and then able to access computer again. No program was ever downloaded. No trace of download on computer. Called bank and really have no recourse because we gave them card number authorizing transaction. Beware of thugs like this!
Same thing happend to me too. Computer froze, popup said it had detected a trojan and the only way out was to subscribe to the "security fix". It had all the characteristics of Microsoft so thinking it was legit, I subscribed and paid $79.95 on my cc. That was April 6th. Last week, same thing happened again. After some research and phonecalls to my CC company, I found out it was a SCAM. No, you don't get your money back, and now they have your CC#, expiration date and security code. So better CANCEL your card! Also, I estimated just from the few people who've commented, business is lucrative for them- almost $1500.00 just from us. Multiply that times thousands! Same name was on my cc statement--UNLIMITED PROTECTION.com C BUKA, AJ. (overseas somewhere)
My bank took the charge off. You might try calling your bank. Once my bank removed it my computer was also fine; it's like it was hanging it up.
Yes, I was dupped also. I wish the government would have laws to get these people and put them in jail and throw away the keys or at least fine them enough that we can get our money back. They make it sound like their product will really help your computer, but they only cause more problems. Now, I have to take my computer in to have it professionally cleaned. Aloss of time and money. Just like the old saying, "buyer beware".
It appeared to be a Microsoft download. The invasion also left my laptop where I can't open any of the programs. When you click on the Icon it asks what program you want to open them in and it won't let allow re-installation of the programs.
It cost $79.95 and the name on the credit card was UNLIMITED PROTECTION.C BUKA, AJ
The company is in Azerbaijan, we are refuting the charge with the credit card company.
I had the same experience, my computer froze up, all of a suden a blue screen appeared with a threatening message in large red letters that I couldn't get rid of. After several attempts and restarts, I finally paid the ransom on my credit card for $79.90. It cleared the hijacked blockage immidiatly, I ws so gratefull to get my computer back. I tried to find out who did this to me with no success, until I got my credit card bill. now i'm going to call the card co. and file a complaint.
I had the same experience about 2 weeks ago. The very same thing, couldn't get my computer to do anything until I paid and I was charged $79.95 on my atm card. I called the bank and the transaction had got approval but had not gone through yet so we put a stop payment. I noticed today, it went through any way. Is there any way we can get our money back. Can't the bank go after them?
I had same experiencce. All of a sudden my computer froze up, window was flashing, " your computer is infected." Tried cleaning myself for over an hr. Finally gave in & paid the $46.00 to fix it. All of a sudden computer was back to normal. Checked my bank statement later & was charged $99.90 from a BAKU A J. cALLED BANK, CANCELLED CARD. Afraid this could happen again. It takes over your computer.
this week I searched for a pdf document, one of this companies websites said they had 5 similar documents, click to join. I chose a 3 day trial for approx $6 - thinking what the heck, I dont mind paying $6 for the answer to my current study on cinema audio standards. I got hit with a $71.75 charge on my card.
I received a recipt for $71.75 via e-mail.
This seems to be a Russian Co trading out of the Netherlands?
Oh yes . . . they did NOT have any pdf text documents on cinema audio standards . . . . surprise surprise.
ALL I got was a large hit on my card AND a cheesy bit torrent program!
I will be investigating these people. I will find someone with some "heft" to help me.
I had the same experience - "Internet Security 2010" Program emailed support to say the virus remover program didn't work, instead of them contacting me to assist, the virus further shut down my system! I am sick! $49.95 worth of sick!
I had a similar experience. The virus that took over was "Internet Security 2010". My parents had a virus on their computer about a month ago and they found a transaction from this merchant about the same time that the virus appeared. I am a Fraud Investigator with a major credit card issuer. Call the bank your card is issued through and tell them this a fraudulent transaction. If you did not give your account number to this company and don't know who they are it is fraudulent! They should be able to take it from there and may even have other customers with a similar transactions.
I have been having the same problems with my computer and the pop-up that would not allow me to do much. However, I was able to purchase a very reliable virus protection program from Norton which cleaned up my computer just fine. However, I later was looking at my online bank statement and noticed a charge from "World Wide Software BAKU AJ" for $ 69.95. This transaction hit my account within a minute of the charge that I made with Norton. In other words, the pop-up / virus from World Wide Software BAKU AJ was able to take my key strokes from my Norton purchase and replicate them to take money straight from my debit card account. I have since taken the recommend steps of filing a dispute based on fraud, and cancelling my card.
On 01/25/10 I was charged $129.85 on my credit card, I would like to cancel this and have my money off my card.

Exact rip off happened to me only I got charged $49.95 which was to be a seurity service for 2 years. I too could not use my computer unless I clicked on and paid for this service at this site. I was having the same computer virus threats today so I just happened to find the Microsoft "FREE" security and now my computer is no longer at risk and I didn't have to pay MORE money to do it. Now the icon for "Security" has disappeared. O MY. I need my money back as everyone who got caught up in this does as well. Class action suit anyone?

Same thing happen to me on 02-17-10. I got charged $129.85, when it suppose to be $50.00. I want my money back. [protected].
This happened to me on 2-4-10, and I was charged $129.85, on my charge card, and I want it back! Robert S. Rego, [protected], 73 Houlton Street, Swansea, Ma. 02777
The same thing happened to me. I'm just hoping that after the 6months is up they don't do it again. I've told my credi card company not to accept any transaction from them but i don't know what else to do to protect my laptop?
I was using a borrowed laptop that locked up the same as you did. The only way I could get it to run was to order the "renewal" for a minimum of 6 mo. @$49.95, Then I got an email saying that an error had occurred and that I needed to reenter my cc information before the program would work. Needless to say I did not but I was still charged the $49.95 plus $1.50 for an International Transfer Fee" Has any got any idea where to contact these people. I no longer have the laptop and would like to cancel the service? I want my money BACK.
same thing happened to me, do you know how we can get our money back
Same thing happen to me but the invasion also left my laptop where I can't open any of the program. When you click on the Icon's it ask what program I want ot open them in and it want let me do a restore back before the attack. It only cost me 59.00 usd and I never got the software...
