i wanted to buy a rottweiler so i went to a pet store and the lady their told me they were going to order one and when they had the puppy they were going to give me a call they called me and they sold me the puppy for 1000 we didnt have the money with us so they told me to leave a layaway so i left 100$

i went the next day to visit the puppy i noticed he was sick the lady told me he just had a little cough by that time i had given them 650$ i came the 3 day to leave the rest of the money and i noticed the puppy wasnt walking good the lady in the store said she was going to take him to the vet to get checked he had fractured his leg supposily by playing with the other puppies at the pet store and the vet put him a cast so i told the lady i cant finish paying the puppy he was sick and injured i told her i wanted my money back they didnt want to give it to me they said it was already on the computer and i had to finish paying the puppy i told them that they cant sell a sick injured puppy and their only snswer was im sorry i

First off, THANKS for supporting backyard breeding and puppy mills. What did you expect buying a puppy raised in horrid circumstances??? Never buy a dog or cat from a pet store. Always do your research and buy from a reputable breeder. Had you done so in the first place none of this would have happened. Instead you've fed a cruel industry, and now more dogs will be milled and abused.

Lastly, that puppy can cough and hack on your kids till the cows come home and it won't hurt anyone but the puppy. Humans can't catch kennel cough.

What Lisarx8 said. If you google "Puppy mill" you're going to see some really horrific photos, videos and stories. Most animals purchased from pet shops are bred and kept under unbelievably inhumane conditions. I am very much against breeding animals for profit, I generally advocate for people to check shelters and rescues. But if you really are bound and determined to go that route, please do your research. There ARE reputable breeders out there. But you'll never find their dogs for sale at a pet shop, yard sale, or grocery store parking lot.
