woolworths rewards
Hi I was in a promotion regarding fuel on the 2nd promotion I did not meet the criteria as I put 30.00 fuel in used my rewards card which reduced the payable amount to 29.35. I was not eligible for the promotion.
On a good will gesture they gave me the bonus points 600.
The final promotion was for 1000 points again I travelled to the WW petrol bowser which is further than my local browser 7/11 this time spending 31.00 thinking I was entitled to this promotion. On calling today was told I couldn't receive it as I was given a goodwill for the 2nd promotion. In having known this I would not have gone out of my way and specifically follow all of the promotions if funds allow me to. I am upset and a regular customer and found the promotion misleading. It makes me want to not have dealings with shopping and offers that is being sent via email. Will look at other options in buying my fuel and groceries on the way this matter was handled.

roast lamb pre-cooked
My housemate & I are constantly trying to get our hands on your pre-cooked lamb roast at least twice a week. We look forward to them. Unfortunately I have to make a complaint about them. It seems 5 out of every 6 we purchase are not lamb roast but corned beef. And not just at 1 particular store but at 3 different stores. Happening too often now. Not very happy at all.
employee facebook posting vilifying people on social security benefits
A posting on Facebook by an Australian "head office" employee has vilified, abused, and denigrated people receiving Social Security entitlements ("welfare benefits). The post has caused me to feel dirtied and stigmatized and as if Woolworths might also hold such views. I will be unable to continue shopping with Woolworths until an official and public response is made.
Sincerely,
Jacqueline Wiley
I am boycotting Woolworths, because it considers everyday people on Newstart with arrogant contempt. I am shopping elsewhere.
I am disgusted that someone so high up in Woolworths management has such a poor attitude towards people receiving income support. Most people are recipients of some form of Centrelink payments at some stage in their lives, does this make everyone a 'bludger' like he descibed?
As a single mum carer who has worked and paid taxes for 20ish years, I feel very angry that he puts me into this category. I am a hard working, efficient, giving member of my society, and I will be avoiding Woolworths until you address this issue.

delicious nutritious - butter chicken with whole grain rice
I was really disappointed when I opened my meal to ingest beautiful Butter chicken and was unlucky - only 3 tiny bits of chicken throughout the whole meal. I was crushed, as I had purchased another 4 packets with the same result. Please don't tell me that it is supposed to only have 3 small chunks of chicken as the picture on the packet shows at least 10 chunks. I'm certainly not complaining about the quality or flavour, just upset about the small amount of chicken included in the meal.
promotional crap
I would like woolworths to either pay up on the supposed winning vouchers etc that keep getting sent to me. I have completed survey and never has anything been sent to me that I apparently have won. I'm a regular customer but I'm seriously considering going to Coles. and i will be telling everybody I know about the crap that woolworths are trying to do to cash in on sales. I had this txt message this morning and I'm over it. I'll be going to consumer affairs if this does not stop immediately. see message. Confirmed: Gary, you've obtained this Woolworths gift card as a thank you. http://www.r5.ms/s/2nor1n/11g
woolworths essentials mixed veg snap frozen
I was cooking these veg when I came across a piece of wood.
Bought them 12/4/2018 at Caringbah Woolworths. I would say if I had of finished adding this mix to the pie I was making, one of my family members would have broken a tooth.
I would like someone to look into this as it could have been a very costly dinner.
I can sent piece of wood if you need it.
Thank you.

incorrect price label for product
On the 9/4/18 I purchased a pan from your Victoria Point Qld store thinking the price was $25.50 (please see the photo) When I checked my receipt I saw that I was charged $34.99 and immediately showed the discrepancy to a staff member. She said that I must have made a mistake and so I went back to the aisle and took a photo of the product with the label beneath. When I showed the staff member the photo she said the pans had been put in the wrong place and that the correct price was $34.99. I reminded her that this mistake was likely costing many customers an extra $10 if they did not check their receipts. All I got from you staff member was an offer of a refund. I was forced to take this option as I was not prepared to pay the higher price but this outcome is unacceptable and heavily favours Woolworths over the customer. It costs Woolworths nothing if the error is noticed but costs the customer an extra $10 if the error goes unnoticed. I understood that if a Woolworths customer is overcharged then that product is free. If this is true why was I not offered the product for free?
This is the second time I have fallen victim to this same mistake. Only last year i purchased a can of diet shake for what was labelled as a special but when I went through the check out i was charged the original price which was $10 more. When the error was pointed out the staff member again did not offer me a refund but instead merely refunded the difference. This is a disgusting practice that totally disadvantages customers who trust your service to be correct. I believe I am entitled to this pan for free and if that is not acceptable to Woolworths Australia I feel obliged to contact Consumer Affairs to ask for their opinion. Shame on Woolworths Australia. You have trained your staff well to look after the profits of your company before treating your customers fairly and respectfully. I look forward to hearing from this service soon.

your employee
I was shopping at secret Harbour around 530pm on the 10/4/18
When one of your employees who was stacking shelves said to me that I look doggy because I have two mobile phones in my pocket as an employee of Woolworths I would not expect this as I have shopped here since it opened and spend more then $250 per week after this experience I will be thinking twice about shopping here again
customer service at service counter and unsatisfactory response from facebook message service.
Hi I am writing to you in regards to being overpriced on an item scanned at the checkout.
Firstly I would like to know what your policy is in relation to a refund on an item that scans higher then the ticketed price as I wasn't able to find a clear policy statement online. I have been aware that if an item scans higher then the ticketed price the 1st item if more then one is fully refunded. This policy may have changed?
If that policy is still in place secondly I would also like to make a complaint about my experience in a Woolworth's store yesterday in plumpton NSW
I purchased a 3 litre bottle of mildrura orange and pasionfruit juice today. The reason I purchased a 3 litre bottle was because it was on special for I think it was $3.09.
It scanned at $4.10 at the counter so I asked if someone can check that for me.
I'm unsure what the price actually was because when I went back into the store to check the specials tickets I believe they had been removed by the girl that I had asked to go check it for me. Anyway that aside the reason I chose to get a 3 litre was because it was actually cheaper then the same brand 2 litre bottle that was also on special (see attached image.)
The girl came back and told me it was not on special (after removing the tickets that I saw) and it was actually $3.99
I had already paid for my shopping so decided to go to the service counter and advise them that someone had allready checked it for me and I was told it wasn't on special it was the regular price $3.99. Regardless of if it was or wasn't on special my receipt still said $4.10 not $3.99
What annoyed me was the fact that I waited patiently with a 2 year old child for everybody to be served at the front counter and waited patiently for a gentleman to decide what mobile phone he would like to purchase.
After waiting close to 10 minutes I finally spoke to the young lady at the service counter about my issue. She asked someone to go and check for her which took so long that I decided to just go and check myself again for a second time. She then explained to her supervisor that I have already gone to check and the supervisor told her to refund me the difference!
So after all of that I was handed 20cents and I was told "I rounded it to $3.90 instead of $3.99 for you!" in a manner that she was doing me a favour. I was absolutely gob smacked and too red faced in front of other waiting customers to even consider questioning Woolworths scanning policy and left with my 20cent refund in my pocket.
As a past employee and extremely frequent and regular customer I feel this is unacceptable and your staff serving at the service counter need to be more aware of the policies Woolworths abide to if the policy is still in place and if they are still in place need to be aware of these policies before attending the front service counter.
As I wrote at the beginning I don't know if Woolworths still have this policy in place so I could be wrong. For me It's not the point of a 20 cent discrepancy and not worth what I had to do for the sake of a 20 cent refund. For me it is the principal of why this policy is in place. It is misleading to advertise a product on your shelf that I would not have bought normally if it wasn't for the special and that is misleading a customer.
I have taken photos and forwarded you all the relevant information. I thank you for taking the time to read this and I am sorry to be a pain about it although I am looking forward to your response on this matter.
Regards
Andrew Quinane.
Then when I sent a message to Woolworths on the Facebook message service I get what looks to be a cut and past computer generated response that only stated what I already knew. (I have attached the screen shots of the conversation I had on the facebook page message service.) So not only am I disappointed with the service in store I am equally dissapointed with the service from your staff replying to customers messages on the facebook service.
product
three [3] situation, whilst travelling
1 - purchased loaf of Pi Da Cassa bread at your Richmond [NSW] store. Mouldy next morning. Advised product had been frozen
2 - purchased near end of date Lamb Steaks at Tamworth store and froze them. Went to use a couple of days later - stunk, product off.
3 - purchased a pack corn of cob last Friday at Glen Innes store. Went to use on Monday [well within ubd] - growing. Took back to store. Told they had been frozen.
We are travelling Australia and can't always take product back to store of purchase. Why do you close in house bakeries and then expect the consumer to accept frozen bread. We are pensioners who cannot afford to throw away food as we have done in the last three weeks. what happen to the 'fresh food people' frozen !

woolworths full cream 2 litre milk
hi
this is my first time making a complaint and i wouldnt be doing it if it didnt happen more than once.
for the last 2 weeks i have had to throw my milk out way before its past due date. i just threw the 2nd container out tonite after getting it from the fridge and finding it had gone lumpy?
i do not leave milk out in between using it, and i am getting a little apprehensive about purchasing it again.
the first container did it 4 days before due date and tonite being the 8th april, i had to again throw another bottle out that was not due to expire till the 1oth.
is there sumthing new you are doing to the milk so it doesnt last or what?
i do not have pictures or a receipt as its only milk. and i dont expect replacements, just an explanation would be good ..
thankyou
debbie stephens.
meat department
I have shopped at the same store since it opened almost every day. I have never had a problem with products or services until now. I went to buy mince in the Meat Department only to find it in a prepack, not only did it not say it was premium, all packets looked the same. As it was all that was there I purchased a packet. Preparing the mince to cook it I noticed that it was the same colour all the way through, for years it has had a brown tinge to it which as a rule means no preservatives. Once cooked the mince fell into tiny little pieces, didn't look like or taste like premium mince, had to eat it as it was all we had. I also discovered that all the meat at my local store will be prepackaged, if this is the standard of meat that will be supplied I will have to go back to a butcher store which would be incontinent inconvenient as i like to do all my shopping at once. Also what happens to the butchers if all the meat comes prepackaged?
australian full cream milk 2l
I placed an order of 2Cans Australian Full Cream Milk 2L on 30th March 2018. Today it becomes sour milk. I cant able to use it though the expiry date is mentioned as 10 April 2018 . I'm facing this issue for the second time.
I placed order online and i got it delivered. I ordered 2cans and both are spoiled.
Can someone please explain this. I didn't expect this from woolies
hi
i have also just posted a complaint for exactly the same reason.
have had to throw out 2 containers of woolworths 2litre full cream milk in the past fortnight.
its very frustrating esp when i cant get out to the shops to get anymore till next day.
so i am with you on this one. hopefully will get an explanation that satisfies us both soon.
fresh chicken breast deli
I have bought loose chicken breasts 4 times in 3 months & each time there have been bone shards. I can feel lots of tiny ones when dicing it up. I broke my tooth on a bone piece 2cm x 1cm. Brought it to the attention of the Deli manager including the piece in a zip lock bag that broke my tooth each time & still nothing done was told nothing they can do it is the supplier. Contacted manager this time & was advised to go on here & leave complaint. If my nearly 2yr old granddaughter gets hurt I guarantee there will be a law suit.
yoghurts
Hi. I'm disgusted in the way you use to advertise your yoghurts as being greek yogurt. It's discriminating to other nationalities. You can change the outlook if management done to the advertisers of the products. Like when you advertise greek easter. It's actually Orthodox Easter. Please respect other nationalities in Australia as i respect them. Thank you
missing items from delivery again, again and again.
Yet again missing item from my grocery delivery. Please stop telling me you understand, YOU DON'T.
I'm utterly fed up that this is continuing to happen. I was told that my order was being audited before it left the store to ensure all items were there. If this is the case, you've a huge problem with your delivery drivers.
I'm constantly told the Management Team would contact me, that's an epic fail too.
I expect my order to be delivered each week as ordered, after all I've paid a premium for this service. I've never had the same delivery person more than once.
I've grown weary of this happening. Having my groceries delivered was supposed to be a way of having no stress. All that it's giving me is constant stress and headaches.
FIX IT
australian corn butter flavoured popcorn
Woolworths currently sells a homebrand "Butter Flavoured Popcorn" already propped which I can appreciate as it is inexpensive and do not have enough space in my flat to own a microwave. You would expect Woolworth's already popped "Butter Flavoured Popcorn" to should taste similar to movie theatre butter popcorn. Unfortunately, it has a room temperature, buttermilk flavour, instead and is a horrid imposter to all other buttered popcorned out there on the market. I mean honestly, when has adding milk anything to popcorn ever been a desirable flavour combination!? Either amend your false advertising to state "Buttermilk Popcorn" or change the recipe altogether so that Woolworth's already popped popcorn actually tastes like "Butter Flavoured." Thank you
the woolworths worker
The Woolworths worker was very rude to the young boy who was working the registers he asked a few questions and she just responded rudely to them all. And the boy then went quiet and stopped talking to his customers as well. and then she was rude to a customer who didn't understand you needed a sticker to bring a product from another store in. I do have her name but she knows who she is and I would hope she will be a nicer person in future because a lot of people are always watching
easter
[censor] you Woolworths. You are happy to celebrate Ramadan with signs up everywhere but cannot put one sign up saying Happy Easter.
[censor] You!
Secondly, there is no room for more then two trolleys at a time at any of the checkouts as the isles come down to close. There is no room to go from one isle to the other as everyone at the checkouts are lining up and leaving no room to move. Very bad form.
Oh and did I say [censor] you Woolworths. This is a Christian country. How dare you not celebrate for the majority.
cod (fish)
I went to the Lucas store in Ballarat Victoria to get my Cod for Good Friday (Thurs 29th March). I was told that none of the stores in Victoria have been supplied with Cod ahead of God Friday. My Dad also could not get any in Sebastopol Ballarat. A lot if people have Cod for Good Friday. It's ridiculous you did not have any and I had to go to the other side of town to your rival Coles to get some. Your loss, their gain.
