trans fats in your woollies brands.
Hi
There seems to be a lot of Woolworths home brands and other brands as well that contain Trans fats. I like to eat healthy but your range of so called health foods contain trans fats why is this so? especially when other supermarkets such as Coles and IGA carry a large range of products without trans fats. Even your Macro organic range of foods such as nuts, seeds and Tofu have Trans Fats.
I shop at Woolworths because its convenient for us and your prices are competitive, but I will not by any of your products with trans fats in them, so I will go out of my way to shop at Coles and while I'm there I will probably do all of my shopping and go to Woollies for everyday items such as milk and bread. Thankyou
delivery services
Very disappointed with Woolworths delivery and Woolworths in general right now. No notice that the delivery driver would be turning up BEFORE the time window I had selected. I had missed a call from Woolworths customer service, called back within seconds of missing the call and was on hold for 20 mins and now my shopping is not being delivered and I won't receive a refund till at least Wednesday next week. This is unacceptable and I will not be using Woolworths again for groceries what so ever.
plastic bag ban by woolworths in nsw
One of the reasons why most of us shop at Woolworths is to get the free plastic bags that we use to wrap up our rubbish, not to take home our groceries. We want clean garbage bins that don't stink or attract flies and are not prepared to pay for something that has been given away for free. What do we do with dirty nappies, snotty tissues, rotten food and other foul rubbish? Woolworths will go from the fresh food people to the stinking rubbish people.
I often pop into Woolworths to buy a couple of items- however I end up buying lots. I hate new system. Woolworths new plastic bags dont fif the hangers- ours fell over. Also I find the new bags when full far too heavy to carry. Think you may need some kind of reassessment . Also where are the lovely trolleys with coffee holders. Today because of large new bags spilt coffee all over the ground. Oh well - not happy!
lack of products
Yesterday I picked up a copy of "fresh' and today I revisited the Queanbeyan store to buy ingredients for one of the recipes. At the deli counter I was told there was no chicken mince. I put back the other ingredients because there's no point having them. Halfway around the store I asked my husband to go back to the deli and ask if I purchased the thighs there, would they put them through the mincer for me. He was told they don't have a mincer. What is the point of publishing delicious looking recipes, if you don't stock the ingredients?
reusable plastic bag
I did my shop. The person behide the counter stuffed the bags so full that by the time i got to my car the so called reusable plastic bag was damage. The other bag had over 10litres of drink in one bag. So much for woolworth caring about customers. What a joke woolworth has become just to save money on 1 or 2 bags. I hoped you saved alot of money because this is one customer who will not shop at any woolworth again. Buying bags is not a problem. Looks like i will be going to any other shop. Should of gone back to paper bags.
I recently had a young perseon put as many canned goods into a complementary Woolworths bag as he could, i found it hard to pick up and put into the trolley and he could clearly see me but did not care less. I was also denied a plastic bag for a carton of smokes.
The complimentary bags seem like a scam to get more people to shop there. Now people are starting to see how they treat their customers.
They are making so much money out of this bag thing.

marketing
I accepted the request to complete a survey and then choose an ipad (stupidly believing that I might actuallybe sent an iPad) and was directed toa page to sign upfour a membership with a streaming service. I don't enjoy being hassled and lied to.
I won't be frequenting your stores after this, as I have others to choose from, namely Coles and Aldi.
Sincerely,
Jasmine Lynch
woolworths online
I have recently had my Woolworths online blocked for no good reason. I kept having my orders cancelled from the verifications team who blamed the bank for not honering the Transaction although it was them multiple times because apparently the transaction looked fraudulent because my sisters card did not match the name of the account (although we share the same last name) they also cancelled my order with my own card details with matching first name and last name. I was hung up on multiple times and given no notice my order were ever canceled every time (6times) I was told over the phone why don't you just go to your local Woolworths yourself and I told them I have no car or license. This has made my life really hard budgeting on takeaways whilst waiting for my money back from orders that I never received. Please if someone can contact me I need this service and the way iv been treated by your staff is appalling.
fruit
Yesterday (3.7.2018) I purchased from Woolworths in Queanbeyan NSW a new fruit item called PAPPLES (apparently a cross between a pear and an apple). They were $5.00 per kg so, not cheap. But to try them I purchased 4 of these papples which came to $3.86. Not a great deal money wise, but when you are a pensioner every cent counts. On arriving home (a 2 hour trip to where we live on a rural property), I decided to make some fruit salad for dessert and thought I might add some of the papples to see how they tasted. Well, on cutting into two of them, they were rotten inside - not impressed to say the least. I am attaching a photo so that you can see what I mean. Anyway, as I usually only visit ''town'' once a fortnight and I didn't want to keep these bad papples until I returned to Woolies in Queanbeyan to put in a complaint, I decided to do it online. Looking forward to your reply. Regards Gabby Frizzell, email address: [protected]@yahoo.com.au
plastic bags
You as a company have been advertising for months that you were doing away with plastic bags & we were to bring in our bags when shopping ! WHAT HAPPENED
We now can buy plastic bags for 15c each & told they are different from the single use ones as these are. reusable & a percentage of the bag is made from recycling .
WHERE DOES HELPING GET RID OF PLASTIC COME IN ? It is false advertising, just a way of making more money & more polution.
I REALLY THOUGHT MORE OF WOOLWORTHS this deception is not NICE.
Yours sincerely
Aileen Bartlett.
dangerous driver
This morning at around 715am a Woolworths truck passed my girlfriend and I as we cycled to work, so close I could have touched the truck. We were to the far left of the left hand lane on the white line at the intersection near the Ourimbah shops, there were dual lanes and the truck did not move over to the right hand side of the lane. The law states there must be a 1 meter gap between traffic and a cyclist.
The driver is representing Woolworths, and his/her driving is a reflection of Woolworths values in the community. We cycle approx. 200km each week on the roads and belong to the largest cycling club on the Central Coast, so are very aware of traffic and our responsibility as cyclist and car drivers.
Are all drivers aware of their responsibilities to other road users?
Our ordeal was very traumatic and the result could have been much worse, something I am sure we both don't want.
Regards Rebecca Kelty
food tampering
Hi,
I purchased a packet of pikelets yesterday (2/7/18) from your new North Sydney Metro store at lunch time and when I got back to the office realised there was a small hole on the side of the packet. On opening the packet, it is evident that it had been chewed on by something (perhaps a mouse) and therefore was not fit for consumption. Pictures attached.
The item was on special for $2.49 and I did not select to receive a receipt at the checkout, therefore I did not return it to the store but feel you should know about this incident to ensure any hygiene/contamination issues are addressed.
select brand colombian gold classic coffee
My wife informed me recently that she can no longer buy this really great brand of
superb tasting coffee from your Woolworths stores. According to the staff at the Strathpine branch here in Queensland you no longer make it! It has been replaced by a really crappy new coffee called "Woolworths Classics". I tried it only once then quickly got rid of the jar! To me it tasted like some coco or chocolate is added to the coffee. It certainly didn't taste like pure really good quality coffee!
For God's sake, return the excellent Select Brand Colombian Gold Classic Coffee to the shelves in your Woolworths stores.

plastic bag ban by woolworths in nsw, australia
Single use plastic bags are not single use. Most of us use them again to properly dispose of our rubbish so that our garbage bins are clean and don't stink. Many people will not pay for a bag to dispose of smelly waste and will simply put it in the garbage bin without any wrapping, particularly tenants in home units. They are doing that already and the ban has only been in force for a week. There are a lot of very unhappy Woolworths customers out here.
woolworths brand beef burrito
Incident date: 02/07/18
I was enjoying a beef burito purchased earlier in the evening and cooked to standard instructions when I chomped something in my mouth. After pulling something out of my mouth full I realised it to be glass. This is a major safety concern and is completely unacceptable.
I feel compensation should be $10000 and am considering a legal action.

I was in Woolworths at Gosford about 3 weeks ago and I was at the self serve the security guard was standing there watching my handbag was open and I was getting my purse out to pay for my goods, as I was about to leave he said can I check your bag please I looked at him and said are you kidding no you can't. customer service
02/07/2018 at 09:48am Albury Central 3279 Woolworths, POS 082, TRANS 5280.
This morning whilst I had completed my shopping I approached the cashiers where only 1 was open and the customer being served had a large shopping trolley full of shopping. I had a basket and proceeded to the self-serve, where I usually don't use but had an appointment at my child's school and couldn't be late.
As I started to unload my basket to start scanning items I found there were no bags at the register. I asked the lady manning the self-serve if there were any bags and she directed me to the basket at the end of the registers and advised me that they are free and the total will come off at the end of my shopping bill. I took 5 bags and put them near my register as I didn't know how many I may need and proceeded to start scanning my items.
As I was approaching near the end of my basket, I needed one more bag. When I returned with the bag to the register "Nadine" could be heard complaining to 2 other colleagues standing at the end of the registers reporting that people are taking advantage of the free bags and repeated it several times. I looked Nadine and she was implying I was taking advantage of the free bags.
I advised Nadine that I wasn't taking advantage and that if she had a problem she should have came and talked to me. She approached me and still had started to rant that "someone was strangled over the free bags the other day" and I replied with "What has that got to do with it?"
She continued to argue with me over the free bags in front of many customers and by this point, I was quite embarrassed that she is stating in front of them I am taking advantage over free bags. I said to Nadine, that I wanted to talk to the store manager and she laughed and walked over to another lady who I later found out wasn't the manager. I repeated to that lady, that I wanted to speak with the store manager.
The store Manager approached me where I advised her of the situation. When I advised her that Nadine was implying I am taking advantage of the situation, she looked down at my shopping bags and said "No your not." and I said "exactly." As I was talking to the store manager Nadine stood behind her out of her managers'' line of site and stared at me whilst I was having this private conversation to where I needed to advise the Store Manager that Nadine is staring at me. The store manager stated she will deal with it upstairs with the employee. At this point, I felt embarrassed and intimidated by Nadine and requested a formal complaint be implemented.
Since I have now been embarrassed in front of many shoppers in a small town and this employee has ruined my day I would like to know what disciplinary action has been taken against Nadine for her unsatisfactory behavior towards me, please.
television ads
Why do I see asians in your australian television ads? This is australia, bristish descendants, not asian! As an aussie, I am offended by seeing asians on my television! If you want to capture asians to shop in your stores, you will loose the aussies. I am totally offended and insulted by seeing asians on australian tv ads!
You, woolworths, are being racist towards true australians!
service from employee at register
I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from an employee named Janet at the register this morning. On arrival I placed my groceries on the counter and when I was asked if I had a bag and I replied with Sorry I haven't.
She was very rude when I advised her I did not a have a bag for my groceries and I said I would be happy to take a complimentary bag that Woolworths are supplying for the week. The facial expression I got from Janet was extremely rude. I asked if there was a problem with giving out the complimentary bags and she replied in a rude manner "NO" and commenced throwing a couple of my items into the bag and I got a sorry from her.
This is not acceptable and I feel extremely disappointed with how this went about.
I suffer from anxiety and this has made me feel very uneasy about my normal Sunday morning shop.
I will no longer be visiting your store and my business will go to other supermarket chains.
I know it's Sunday and some people don't like to work but it doesn't take much to smile and be polite to customers after all we are why they have jobs.
I shopped in Seville supermarket tonight. I knew that they were giving out free plastic bags until 7/07/18 but when I said that I did not bring bags, you would have thought I had been killing small children. The girl in charge had an attitude and tried to pile all my $150 groceries into 2 bags. i said to her not to make them too heavy as I am elderly and can't lift them. She did not answer me but kept the angry attitude. Obviously Woolworths told their staff to be rude to anyone who wanted a free bag. Not going back.
lack of product availability
Hi,
Today at Woolworths, South Penrith NSW Australia, there were no:
Unsealed green beans - which were there last week - when I asked the staff member he said that they, "didn't have them anymore", as though it had always been that way and how surprising that I would remember something that happened last week! It was weird/a bit dishonest as well as inconvenient.
No Masterfoods mint jelly on the shelves
No Home Brand frozen julienne carrots
In addition, I'm not pleased about the loss of free plastic shopping bags.
