wingate university / broke phone missed flight no wake up call

im a rewards member that has been staying at the country inn and suites in mathews every weekend for the past four years because my son plays college football for wingate university about 15 mins down the street. I cheked in the hotel; last sunday because i had a flight to dallas texas monday morning. I tried calling the front desk to get a wake up call and couldnt get a dial tone from either of the two phones in the room. So, I called from my cell phone to inform the front desk that I needed a wake up call but the phones were'nt working . They never was able to get the phone in the master bedroom working but, was finally able to get the phone in the living area working. I told the guy from the front desk that I would leave the bedroom door open and I would still be able to hear the phone from the bedroom but was never told when the guy from the front desk left that the phone jack was striped and hardley fit when he made the test phone call. Later that night the wire must have fallen back out so, i did'nt get the wake up call. I 've missed two days of a very important flight for a four day buissness meeeting so far. I've called the airline and was informed the only reason I got my flight at the price i was giving is because I booked it over a week in advance and to change it the rate would be alot more money. I got a manager on the phone and was able to get a discounted price for changing the tickets. An additonal $175 for my ticet and an additional $116 dollars for my sons ticet all of which the hotel has proof. I made an agrement with the hotel manager that he would pay for the room until my flight in which i had to change until wensday. The same manager that made the agrement with me was at the front desk this morning while the lady at the front desk re charged my keys and knew the room was suppose to be comped he never said anything or had a problem at all. I ran across the same manager several times today and also he never said anything. They let me stay in the room untill 5:00 this evening until after the manager left and then decided to call me and make me pay for the room in which they had my credit card on file already at the front desk so i had no choice but to pay. The lady at the front desk has refused to call the manager and wants me to wait until the morning. If i wait until the morning Im going to miss my flight again and be out another nights room rernt and my meeting
