Breeder's advertisement guaranteed health of pup but breeder refused to provide written veterinary disclosure statements about the genetic health of the parents - which information could directly affect the health of the puppy and therefore possibly affect the "health guarantee" that breeder was offering.

Breeder was asked TWICE by me for WRITTEN vet disclosures about the health of the parents and she refused. Without knowledge of the parents' possible genetic issues, a "health guarantee" on the offspring is useless.

My deposit was forfeited which was unfair because there was a false promise given.

Bought a puppy from Windy Knolls in October 2017 and while the puppy is the love of my life and absolutely beautiful and sweet I was very disappointed with the breeder. The cleanliness of her place is seriously lacking. On the drive home after picking up my pup I noticed a few fleas. When I got home I decided to bathe her and she was not only filled with fleas but her ears were filled with ear mites! I felt horrible for having to bathe her twice in one night and stress her out more but she was filthy. I then immediately took her to the vet the next day to see how to get rid of this since she was so young. The Cavalier is everything I hoped for but just be prepared you might have to battle some fleas and ear mites when you pick your pup up.

I bought my cavalier there 1.5 years ago., May 2017. Price won out and this cute little cavalier was the only one left.
I heard barking dogs in the back building...warning puppy mill. She told me she had 35 dogs in there..I heard dogs barking in the basement also. House was filthy. She said she was a nurse so I believed her and paid 1, 000.00 for my dog. My gut told me to run, but when I saw this little puppy I decided to buy her and give her the best life possible for however long she would live. When we came home my son had fleas all over his shirt. We took her to the vet and she had 2 ear infections that were really red and sore. She ended up have parasites in her colon and she wasn't gaining weight and her stools were all slimmy. she needed 2 rounds of medication. I know in my heart she is a puppy mill dog, but she is healthy so far. I bought healthy insurance to help cover the cost of future health issues that may occur. crossing my fingers she is healthy and Cheryl was honest. I would never buy from her again.

Paltry health certificate - no testing for CKCS genetic diseases. Claimed AKC registered and was not! Never registered the litter and when I asked demanded more money. My dog is healthy so far but has huge temperament issues. I tell anyone not to use this breeder. Sadly cute puppies and a decent price win out more often than prudence.
