I go to this winco foods in stockton every week and have never had any problem until today when not one but two employees were very rude to me and my wife. The cashier said to "just chill" after we said "why is it taking so long to get a 45 dollar check cleared when they took our checks every single weeks for about a year now. When we ask for manager they sent a 19 or 20 year old kid and he threaten to hit me after I said that I was losing my balance cus I walk with a cane. Emlployee said" I am waiting for you to hit me so I can hit you back" we will not put up with this behavior from winco foods ever again we want an apology and we want coupons because they also said they were having some customers write bad checks but we have not ever. It was a waste of our time to had gone thru that.

Winco employees seem to be very nice but when writing a check and its being rejected they attack you like hound dogs. And i am speaking all the way from WA. I have had the same experience. Two men showed up at the counter and said they don't accept checks when i wrote a check the day before. I felt like i was being attacked and they didn't even give a good reason why my check could not be accepted.

First of all, this particular customer is a total idiot.. The story does not make sense at all and am almost 100% sure that this incident did not occur. Unfortunately, most of the customers at the Stockton WinCo are on drugs, are very uneducated and are always looking for a freebie. Get a life, a job or something...!

To the person who works at the stockton winco so does a family member of mine and while your right maybe that didn't happen I know that your employees are miss treated sent home early so you can get a bonus yet they can't get medical unless they work 100 hrs a month yet you give favor to who gets the hours not by there work but who your management is close to ... You talk to them like slaves not humens and your work ethics are backwards you push them to hurry only so you can get bonuses... there is going to be a law suit real soon because I have already talk to my uncle who is a bussiness lawer and have also gotten with some who have quit or you fired for things such as scratching the floor come on really... WINCO IS AWFUL TO EMPLOYEES>>>>

well have nevr had a problem with winco but i think all you who act like animals with csr's (customer srvs. rep) should be or feel sorry everyone reserves the right to refuse service you know how you want to be treated and you should mirror the attitude of people just trying to help you

I also work for WINCO Foods I have been with the company for quite a few years and I have to deal with rude and unplasent customers on a daily basis. If all of you stop and think for a moment about what we go thru on a day to day basis. We are constantly working with the public which is a stressful situation in its self we are costantly bombarded with questions after question after question. And that in its self can become a burden, I know that for myself I now on longer want to talk to people outside of work and its not because of winco its actully because of poeple. Thats right people in general are not easy to take sometimes. You get mad at us because we are out of an item that we have no controll over, I mean really? you ask for an item and we tell you "I sorry but out wearhouse is out of stock" and you get mad at US? Is that fair? we at store level have absolutly no controll over the wearhouse alls we controll is what we can order and yes I will say that at times things may not get ordered we are only human. And telling us "Well we will just go somewhere else" will NOT make that item magicly appear. It just seems like Nothing is ever good enough for anyone, every time I turn around I have a customer asking where something that is thats right in front of them, If you took the time to actully look you might answer your own question! And I know that sounds pety but when you get about 100 of those questions a day it get s alittle annoying. Or asking to place a lager order and expect to have it the next day when it takes two days for the items to get to the store and get mad at us when we have to turn you down, you had plenty of time before hand to order that item but just like many other americans you just dont think and then you panic and when you dont get your way you throw a hissy fit and you take it out on us when we are just trying to do out job. So if you want to have a pleasent shopping experience at Winco then be nice and respectful to the employees that is all we ask. And by all means if you have an issue with an employee ask for the manager and if you dont feel that person was nice and respectful to you then call Winco headcouters in Boise Idaho and file a complaint dont take it out on the other employees we are not here to "Serve" you we are there to help you as much as we can!

I used to work for win co, they fired me for an injury that was caused while i was working. I gave my manger a doctor note from the hospital, (i was in so much pain that night i went to the hospital) the note saying not to work for a few days (5 days) When i came back they handed me my last check. And they never even thank me for putting in all that hard work at nights. (oh yeah you know what i am talking about if you ever worked freight )

not only do i work at winco food but im one of a high statue at winco, i have witnessed many rude customers in my line of work in fact I AM the one who has to deal with these type of people. the comment i just read sounds like a typical winco employee. for one the customer is the one who pays our checks and yes many people have ruined it for many others. I will say my time at winco has been very unpleasent. My training came from another retailer in fact the biggest retailer WalMart. I have been put down on a daily basis because of it. if it was not for my training there i never would have landed the position i have. I understand your complaint and hope you recieve your apology. the rant above sounds like many others i deal with working at winco food. they start everyone at 7.75 and hour even myself and that sure does make me grouchy but i wouldnt take it out on a customer. My wife did not enjoy her shopping experience there due to a checker, she stated do i bag my own grocerys not knowing a new company its understandable, the checker very rudely stated Ugh if you want. I cant wait for my position to open back up at walmart so i can regain my 6 dollars an hour i lost coming to a company that does not value there employees. worst mistake i had ever maken. leaving what i thought was a horrible company. Just so everyone reading this understands walmart will match anyones prices.

This person is obviously very grouchy. I highly doubt winco did anything that bad...yeah, right, "god you suck at walking, I wish you would hit me, so I could hit you back"! Does that make any sense to you? NO, then it's probably not true. And boo hoo that they have to run your check through the machine. They are not blaming you specifically for having a bad check, they just have to run everyone's now because, like many other things, a few people have ruined life for the rest of us. sigh. Just think, how would you respond if somebody said something like, "reh, reh, reh, why is it taking so long, (big loud ### sigh), my check's never been rejected before, blah blah". You very much sound like an annoying customer with no patience. And another thing, if you don't want to be discriminated against for being old, which you probably don't, then don't discriminate the manager for being young. There are some very responsible 20 year olds out there, and some very irresponsible 50 year olds, so the age has nothing to do with it and shouldn't even be mentioned here.

I really cant see that happening at winco.

You must not be telling the whole truth.

People like you dont need to go there and disrupt others from shopping.

Get a life!
