I have been getting silent calls for weeks on my mobile voicemail. It has been driving me mad so eventually I called back and found out it was Wilson Tarquin and I told the guy at Wilson Tarquin, that I was reporting them to OFCOM which I did. Then out of the blue last week, I received a letter from an Old catalogue company that I hadn't heard from for years, telling me I was going to receive a PPI refund. The following day I received an email from Wilson Tarquin and an invoice demanding money for their bill for their work? So, I send them an email basically telling them at no time did I ask, or enter into any contract or employ them or seek any claim on my behalf or indeed sign any documentation. They then call me, and I swear this young woman thought she was speaking to a half wit because she was not going to bully or attempt to intimidate me in any month of Sundays. She said I allegedly signed permission on my phone an ed0c signature. Which, I can categorically deny, so I said, send me the proof. I also informed her she was calling me the incorrect surname but she desperately wanted me to give her my name, address, postcode and DOB etc to which I politely declined. Of course this only made her furious in her attempts to take control of our conversation but as she now realised that she was dealing with someone that was in full charge of her scripted notes and not vice versa she began to climb back inside her nest with the rest of her objectionable's. I also informed her that I was making a complaint to the Financial Ombudsman for her implacable telephone manners and behaviour for the outrageous invoice her company had billed me. In the end we parted on not so good terms and I am still waiting for a copy of my alleged signed agreement.
I am pleased to report that the complaint that I made against Wilson Tarquin to the Financial Ombudsman has been Upheld. The full report will be available on the Ombudsman’s site in the next few weeks. I can only advise people to take the same steps that I did and take this company to the Financial Ombudsman for failing to abide by the FCA and their own terms and conditions. Read them carefully about clear, fair and transparent language. This is paramount!
Applied for PPI for a friend who is very elderly and unwell. Wilson Tarquin has hounded him with calls and text messages constantly. It seems any money that was offered through the redress went to IVA which is okay - but then Wilson Tarquin were asking very personal questions about the state of his health and told him they needed to look into his financial circumstances. I have advised him to not answer their calls and if he does accidentally answer to put the phone down on them. They sent him an invoice for £2, 400 + for money he never received. Disgusting people.
i have two accounts with nationwide cashbuilder account and a nationwide flex account i think you only checked one account cashbuilder

Fight them all the way, there actions have been harassment and pressuring people to sign up under duress and its doubtful if any Court would uphold any claims they made. Don't let scare tactics put you off or intimidate you. Insist on copies of all documentation and phone calls from them in any case. If enough do it they will be bankrupt in no time...

My sister is disabled with Mental Health issues was harassed for them to take my case for PPI.
I'm her carer and was told it's only 24% so agreed.
Now they sent invoice for 48% when she hasn't received anything. We just had a bereavement and they still call send threatening letters and my sister can't deal with it.

Hi this is what they did to me too. I’m furious and haven’t paid the bill but complained. They haven’t replied to my complaint but have hounded me for payment and have now passed it to a debt collector. I have the financial ombudsman on the case as well and they still sent it to a debt collector.
i have been receiving numerous calls from this company asking me to sign paperwork. they then send out letters to sign when I dont return them they then send sms messages and finally more phone calls. I dd actually try and sign on line to try and stop this harrasment but was then told they did not recognize my signature and still keep calling

Trying to cancel my contract with these people. Keep bouncing my email back saying their email box is full. Got a bad feeling this could cost me thousands. Don't know what to do. I only signed yesterday then seen all these horrific posts. Trying to cancel desperately. Need help!
They are a well known company, as wrongfully hassling people, contact citizen advice centre, they will help you to contact the right people to help you, good luck x
ignore them and any demands they have no claim on you, anything you signed was under duress of constant calls and harassment
I see some posts are realy old but the company is worse today then before despite their specific PPI Claim being made illegal. Some one realy needs not just to close the firm but charge and arrest the owners for mass scale harrassment and crimes against the general public. I get calls from mainly India call centre 8 to 10 times a day I have blocked about 150 numbers they use but they just come up with new ones. The call centre people are rude they allways purposly pernounce my name wrong and sound like they are talking through the nose or somthing Its awfull. I have asked the company at least 250 times to take me off their call list. Awfull.
Call me almost every day, sometimes more than once.

I have had several calls from this company which I believe to be classed as cold calling.
Sometimes there is no-one there when I answer, other times it is extremely noisy.
I have blocked there number now, so guess what they are now leaving voicemail messages.
They are a nuisance and someone should shut them down.
Just asked for manging directors phone number so i can ring him at 2am in morning and continously through night see how he likes it when trying to sleep never had a loan or ppi since 1980 asked so many times now stop ring me this comany should be closed down they are a pest
Also missold on overdrafts too.. credit cards, mortgage. And it started in the 80’s- I’d advise to get it checked you could be in for some money :)
I've had numerous phone calls from these bunch of crooks. Glad i googled them & now i've blocked their number. Nuisance calls are a pain in the @rse!
Just been phoned by these CROOKS today.. thankfully i ignored call & googled them. I'll be blocking their number from today. Glad i read all the stories about them so i know who i'm dealing with if they try again!
I received a letter from them today, I did the same thing, googled them, I'm so glad I did,
Stay well clear of this company. I had to chase my claim myself. And now they are ending up with more than me. Taking 48% so I got 52% but had to pay the fees.
They have done with me they want £2220.63 they want do I give it to them
Just got a letter demanding £150 for their work. We were instructed to phone banks and building societies ourselves so what work exactly have they done? Bunch of crooks.
Hi there I have been repeatedly harassed by this company for over twelve months . I told them I had no PPP to claim because I had never taken any out as I work in the NHS and we are fortunate enough to get full pay for six months and half pay for six months . They hounded me telling me no win no fee you have nothing to loose. I completed paperwork and as I told them no PPP to be refunded . They are now harassing me for money for work they have carried out. Has anyone else had this problem. I am currently unwell having nursed my mom who sadly passed away and these peop, e are making me feel more unwell.
Just to let you know. That fact you get full sick pay 6 months and half the other makes you more susceptible to be missold ppi. Also it was added on without knowledge or consent so essentially you wouldn’t of been aware of it anyway.

I've received 4 drop calls in the space of a week. I rang back the first time as did not know who it was. Found them trying to get me to claim back my PPI via them as I was apparently eligible. Which I know I'm not.
I received another call a few days later I cut them short as I figured that this was a reputable company and that the note against my record just hadn't been updated. So asked for a do not call note to be added to my record(I work all day long with database so I know the drill). I got a 3rd call yesterday at which point I quite calmly said remove my details or I'm making a complaint. Well today I got the 4th call. I was not calm or pleasant. I explained (screamed down the phone) I wanted to make a complaint so asked to be put through to his manager. Unsurprisingly the manager was busy but he would call me back. I essentially said remove me from the database now and no complaint will be made. If I get anymore unsolicited calls from this company I am going to tear whoever rings me apart. They are sewer ###.
Constant cold calling, pushy operators calling on ppi claim which I do not want them to act for me on. Beware of this company, also go under name of PPI Claims Now
They have been calling my elderly parents repeatedly despite being told the calls are unwanted and could they please stop.
The company seems to go by the name of Samuel Brooks, thought they are very reluctant to give any detils and there are several threads on the internet about the same company using the same unwanted behaviour but with a different mobile number...how do we stop these people contacting us and also selling on details to other similar companies?
