Wholesale Flights Terrible service

I'm very disappointed with Wholesale-Flights customer service. I can't say anything bad about the website itself, it's quite nice and helpful, but I can't say the same about their support service. I contacted them because I had an issue with my flight and I was hoping to get some help but they ignored all the messages I sent them. I found their phone number and when I called they said that all reps were busy and that I need to send them a message. I did as they said but didn't get a reply. Terrible service.

Wholesale Flights Don't believe Wholesale Flights!

Don't believe the positive reviews you see online, Wholesale Flights is truly a scam! I booked a flight via Wholesale Flights to London, but I had to cancel my booking because I was seriously ill. I found their phone number and contacted the via phone. I explained the situation and their rep assured me my booking was cancelled and I was promised a refund. Two weeks passed and nothing, and when I contacted them again and asked about my money they claimed I never asked them to cancel anything! These people scammed me and stole my money!

Wholesale Flights Flight tickets

Look out for these people they will scam you and treat you rudely afterwards They will hang up on you or ignore you. We tried to book 2 seats with wholesale flights. Soon after we gave them our credit card information we noticed we did not have a ticket conformation. We called to ask about it and they said they would email it to us soon. What they sent us was a itinerary not a ticket conformation. We called The airlines, they stated that they have no flights or tickets for us on that date or any other date. We called The credit card company, who told that we had several charges on our account Some were not even to our destination that we authorized. So we had to cancel our credit card . We called Brian at Wholesale Flights to ask what was going on . HE gave us unbelievable rudeness. So we ask for a supervisor who gave us very aggressive mean and belittling treatment. We told them we were not authorizing the tickets with the credit card charges. Soon after that (this is so outrages) they started to harass us ! They told us ticket had been issued we have no right to cancel. We told them the airlines told us there are no tickets in our name, you are liars Leave us alone. We Then booked tickets with a other travel agency for a even lower price. This happened in October 2015. In December We get a call from our credit card company, saying That Wholesale Flights is claiming a dispute. They say it not fraud if we called them and agreed to purchase tickets. We say we never received tickets or a conformation especially to destinations we were not going to fly to. The credit card Co. did rule in our favor. It is just unbelievable to be a victim of fraud and then be harassed afterward . Do not trust any positive reviews. They are scammers. They must have employees posting good reviews Really all 5 star reviews? Hard to believe I don.t know why Credit Card Company's are willing to deal with them, or even the airlines?.

Wholesale Flights Wholesale Flights lied and cheated me when I was seriously ill

Wholesale Flights lied and cheated me when I was seriously ill and did so with full knowledge and shameless intent.
I contacted this company after having heart surgery and thinking I was well enough to travel and see SE asia. The main point I made with this company was that it was possible that I may have to cancle due to health reasons, I simply didn't know and wanted to be cautious. The "travel agent" I spoke to Lana and she sold me a one way ticket to Bang$#*! Thailand at what she assured me was a fantastic whole sale price of just under $1000.00. She said to be able to retain this price considering my concern that I may have to cancel due to health problems she was going to send me a form to sign. When the form arrived I read it and it said that if I cancelled I would forfit the ticket price. I called Lana and asked what this ment, she knew that canceling was my main concern. She replied that she was well aware of my problem and informed me that this was a formality, that if I cancelled there would be an insignificant fee and not to worry. I signed the form, I suppose I simply couldn't conceive that someone would be so completely corrupt to steal from someone as ill as I was.
Shortly after I sent her that form I had severe chest pain, called an ambulance was admitted to the hospital and had 5 stents implanted. I was too ill to travel and called Lana and told her so. She told me to send information from my physician saying I could not travel and I did. Lana sent me another form saying that Wholesale Flights would reimburst me a sum just above $200.00 if I signed that form which cleared Wholesale Flights any further financial obligation to me. I refused, that was 3 years ago. I am finally well enough to try to recover my money plus damages.
So far I have discovered that I was charged appx. twice the price of the flight. I also found that had I taken that flight to Bang$#*! Thailand without an exit, I wouldn't have been permitted in that country. So had I traveled I would have been harmed further. It is not hard to believe that Lana knew this. My opinion is that she wanted me in such a dilemma with the hope that she could, hopefully steal from me again.
I will give Wholesale Flights a chance to make me whole, but I'm not optimistic. I want my money back, damages for theft by deception and opportunity costs for the money that I was cheated, it would be nice to have the money for my medical expenses, which are extensive. However if it comes to it, I don't care if my attorneys get what I paid and more.
Preying on the sick and weak is disgusting and I am willing to expose Wholesale Flights and Lana who, in retrospect, I see as unbelieveabley cold and wicked and was intent on stealing my money. I am aware that I offered Lana way too much trust and if nothing else works I will post this, my true story with Wholesale Flights, everywhere that I can to warn others that this company, Lana and I assume a criminal culture bred by this company that offered me the likes of Lana.
I see that this site rates wholesale flights good overall. My story is true so I question why so many would bother to write a positive review. I contend that people would not, not so many. You may accept this insult and deal with these crooks of use common sense and assume that they are writing their own reviews.

Wholesale Flights We got scammed with so many false fees we couldn't afford the ticket for my fiance to go on our trip to see HIS parents!

I called ‘At Cost Flights’ on 1/31/12 to buy plane tickets to Ireland for myself & my family. I spoke with Dan. This trip is to visit my Fiance's parents, who live in Ireland. They are older & gravely ill. I was told that the total cost of flights would be $6, 270.00. Including 4 tickets 6/29/12-7/14/12 at $4, 992.00 & one ticket 6/29/12-7/5/12 at $1, 278.00. This was confirmed verbally by phone several times. I was told that there might be an additional “YQ Surcharge” charged by the airline “at the time of travel”. I was never told that if this was needed they would take it from the credit card immediately. Dan sent me an email & told me to open it & follow his directions. I was told that the sole purpose of this was for “TSA clearance for the No Fly List”. Dan said to open the link in the email & to immediately scroll toward the bottom of the screen until I saw Red codes. I was told to confirm that all travelers’ names were spelled correctly. Once I confirmed this, I was instructed to click the confirmation box & electronically sign, which I did. I received another email, which I was told by Dan to ignore. He said that the only email I needed to concern myself with was the one he was going to send me directly (this included itinerary but no financial info). On 2/2/2012, Dan called stating that he had just found out that the airline has charged “YQ charges” & that they had immediately charged these to my credit card so there is not enough funds to complete the transaction for my Fiance’s ticket. I was told that if I wanted to have the additional ticket, I would need to give them almost $1, 500.00 more (I do not have an exact amount as this amount was changed several times during our conversation). I am now being told that the total for our tickets would be $7, 250.00! I was told that to cancel the tickets would cost $300 per ticket. Every time I asked to speak with a supervisor, I was told by Dan that he is the supervisor.

I called American Airlines, who pulled up our tickets & said that all taxes, fees & surcharges are already included. I was told by the airline that the amounts I was being charged by At Cost Flights are not correct. I was also told that this would have been cheaper had I booked it with the airline, even though the At Cost Flights website (www.wholesaletraveler.com) guarantees lowest rates & no booking fees. I called Dan & told him that I had spoken to the airline. Dan got very confrontational & told me that it was not the airline like he had previously said, that it is now the airport charging the fees. He told me that if I wanted to get nasty that he could get nasty because I verbally agreed & signed a legal document giving permission for all charges, which I did not. I NEVER verbally agreed to anything other than $6, 270.00 & made it very clear that there was only $6, 300.00 on this card. The signed legal document has turned out to be the web link I was rushed through & told specifically to scroll past the dollar amount (which I never saw until now) & to go directly to the names. The fact that this dollar amount is listed on this document, which I was directed to completely disregard, shows that these people intended to overcharge me all along. Even though Dan is now claiming that he just found out about these fees this morning, they were apparently added 2 days ago, without my knowledge. I spoke to a man who Dan said was the District Manager today 2/2/2012. ‘Frank’ says that he will review the audio tapes & call me back with his ‘decision’. Unfortunately, I cannot make sure that we have the tickets to get to Ireland for this trip until this is resolved as the money that went to this company was all that we have. The addition of these ‘fees’ which were charged without my permission has taken the funds necessary to pay for my Fiance’s ticket. I have been misled & every step of the way I have been told something different by everyone involved.

2/3/12 – I did not receive a call from Frank so I called at 11:45am. He did not remember me and said that he had been having people searching for flights for me, as if I was just calling to book travel. When I reminded him of our conversation he said that he would need to call me back in 20 minutes. I did not receive a call. I called again at 1:45 pm and spoke to Mike. I stated that I was supposed to receive a call back from Frank & did not hear from him. I was placed on hold. The recording stated that I was the 11th caller & my wait time would be 48 minutes. I waited 5 minutes & called back. As soon as I mentioned who I was, I was immediately placed back on hold, before I could even finish my sentence. The recording stated that I was now the 13th caller & would wait for 52 minutes. It is clear to me that there is no intention to resolve this issue as no-one will even speak to me when I call.

Wholesale Flights He scammed us into paying for two round trip business class tickets

Tom had booked us in business class to China and return. Going there was fine. Return was horrible. We found out that he had booked our return on standby and coach. He did send us an email in Hong Kong assuring us that our flight was confirmed. The airline had no record of this Obviously this created a hellish situation with the luggage problems and having horrible seats on the return flight home. No response from the company once we contacted him from the USA. He scammed us into paying for two round trip business class tickets.

Wholesale Flights These people are dishonest, do not see their clients as customers with a right to be treated well and do not accept responsibility for anything

I would never book with WholeSale-Flights EVER again! We have been trying to use some vouchers they gave us for already inconveniencing my husband and I on a flight they booked us on 8 months ago. Now that we are ready to use these vouchers, we have been trying to book a flight now for 3 weeks with them. We are continually getting put on hold, disconnected and if we are lucky to get through we are having to listen to excuse after excuse as to why no one has responded and after calling numerous times a day as well as emailing we are not getting any responses from anyone that actually allows us to go ahead and book. These people are dishonest, do not see their clients as customers with a right to be treated well and do not accept responsibility for anything. I have never in all my life been so frustrated with a company and the only thing I can think of that might help is to write this to warn others to not call this company even if its just to inquire. It is seriously not worth it. We are planning to fly in 2 weeks and still have not been able to actually go ahead and book the flights.

Total scam. Somehow we became enrolled (possibly by failing to opt out of enrollment while purchasing a ticket) and we began receiving a credit card charge of 9.95 a month. Tried to call to find out what this was about and could not get through. When we finally got through found out that this monthly charge (apparently) gets us "coupons". Have filed fraud claim with our credit card and with FTC.

I paid $4, 000 for a round trip ticket to Tokyo October 09. When I arrived at LAX to check I had a reservation but the ticket was not paid for so I had to buy another ticket on the spot. No one returned my calls until I got back to the USA. Then it was all a big mistake, never happened before promised to make it right by providing a ticket for my next trip for free. Guess what! Feb 11, they wont return my calls and they stonewall my e-mails and are switching or blocking their e-mail addresses. Naturally I am planning on going after them but it the meantime BEWARE

I requested a call back, gave them two email addresses and still get no response according to their site. If I hadn't felt uneasy about their privacy policy that states they can use your information in a different way then they state in the agreement then i may not have googled them and found this site. I'd say the only good reviews are probably those working for the company or something like that because i'm not getting a real professional feel from their behaviors thus far!

Logged on to their website looking for a good deal for flights to London. Found a good price and the website stated that I needed to call and talk with a rep. Website even states that the reps can find lower prices. So, I called. Twice I was disconnected, once told to call back later and the last time, I got a rep but when I gave him the info on the flight I needed, the price had jumped over $200 per person. I ask about the price showing on their website and was told that ticket probably had been sold (they sell only one ticket at the price shown on the website?). I smell scam? The rep stated that the only price available was as he had stated. A little angry, I told him to take the discount price off the website NOW! Then I hung up. Immediately, I emailed customer service. Still waiting for an answer.

If this is the way they do business, STAY AWAY!

Wholesale Flights Membership dues

I went online to book a flight with wholesale flights and I was signed on as some type of member and a monthly deduction of $9.95 is billed each month. On 5 occassions I have attempted to get this charged removed from wholesale flights and I have been hung up on, given incorrect on line information on how to remove alleged membership, and downright refusal to return my phone calls after information is left. Evidently if you purchase a ticket from them you are automatically enrolled in their rip off club and you get clubbed monthly with a sneeky dues withdrawal and they hide on you when you challenge them about it.

Wholesale Flights Wholesale Flights is more than a bait and switch operation

WATCH OUT. SCAMMERS all the way. Wholesale Flights is more than a bait and switch operation. Their dishonesty goes beyond that. When you buy a ticket from them they ask you to fill in a "Security Release Form". The very very small very fine print on the bottom tells you that if you don't check the box at the bottom of the page they will start charging your credit card a $9.95 subscription monthly fee. If you don't track your credit cards carefully, you'll be paying them forever.

In addition - the way they saved me money on the one flight I bought from them was to buy two overlapping round trip tickets - and then only sent me information on the two legs of the trip I was flying on. I didn't realize what they'd done until I went to the airport on the first leg.

I'm trying to get my money back from the monthly subscription fee but they're wholly unhelpful. This group is deceptive and dishonest. WATCH OUT.

Wholesale Flights charging money with no service offered

I am writing as a victim of high tech scam in the travel industry. I searched for cheap tickets travelling July 20th 10 and return in August .I landed on Predators called wholesale flights .com. who have a well designed trap that swallows cheap ticket seekers like myself. It was on 05/06/10 when searched wholesaleflights.com and put my details, 1 adult, 1 child and an infant traveling to Africa it gave me total of $3520. At that time the airline was charging $3700, I though I would save some bucks by using this company it was not so. Gave the agent Mr. Ron Ext 308, the detail the total was $3600.that was still less than emirates. They asked for full amount, I made payment with two cards $3000 credit card and$600 debt card. In few minutes while still on the on phone, he says the price has changed to $3720 I told him straight away to forget it, he then called his supervisor Brian, I told him why would I buy the tickets from them at that much when I can get it from the airline at $3700 please cancel everything and don’t charge any of my cards. Mr. Brian told me to wait for a moment after some few minutes, Brian says it was ok, they will take $3600.
In about one hour, Ron calls and he told me to check my email; for the ticket release form, the total was $3760, I objected to that amount asked what are you up, he said the $160 was for insurance in the plane, I told in fact I don’t want to deal with this company, he said uncheck the box for insurance and the total went back to $3600. Is this the final total Ron said yes that is when I signed the ticket release form, and he acknowledged receiving the form?
After 5 days 05/11/10 Ron calls me and said they don’t want use credit card they want me to wire money to their account because if they use the credit card the airline will charge 20% interest. The next day I went to the emirates office in Houston, They do not charge 20%. I called Ron and nobody would pick, I left him a message to call me back but he didn’t call. in the mean time I researched on the company, unfortunately whole sale flights is not a member of BBB. Ron calls me 05/15/10 and tells me the only way out was to wire the money to the account, when I inquired from the bank; they said its very risk, in the mean time whole sale flights had already withdrawn $500, from my credit card and when I talked to Ron about it he said that was a deposited, I told him they didn’t need deposited I paid $3600.I was not amused, I spoke to Brian the Supervisor, and he said they were trying to save me from incurring 3% interest, told him charge it on my credit card, that’s an increment of $108, earlier Ron had told me 20%. I thought all was well, on 05/17/10, 3.59 pm to be exact I received a mail from Ron saying please sign this form and fax it back as soon as possible, the $ 500 we took from your credit card is now taken as a cancellation fee, if you don’t wire the money to our account. That is when I realized I had fallen into a deep pit called wholesalefilght trap.
The next day I called the office and found a well spoken man by names of Edward Austin, very friendly, when I narrated my story story, he promised all will be well. On 05/19/10 Wednesday, He said the boss couldn’t allow credit card, or else they will charge me 5% more on top of the 3% as financing charge. I told him no I will put the money in the account on Friday, he said the latest time to put the money in the account was Thursday, that was the next day, I got the money and called him Thursdays morning, I had the account number and routing number with no bank name, he said the bank is either Wachovia or Wellsfargo, when are you banking the money? he asked, I told him I was on my way to the bank, he said wait don’t bank until I call you back, need to cross-check with my boss, in 15mns he called and said the price had changed the total is now $3890.That is when it occurred to me that these guys are made of same material. I told him to put back my $500 I don’t want anything to do with wholesale flight, he went and consulted with the owner, according to him the owner said they were going to refund $200 to my account, $300 was a cancellation fee, why would I be charge for somebody’s incompetence, he talked to the owner again and they decided to spilt the $300, and instead they sent a gift certificate of $150 only applicable if I buy ticket from wholesale flights. Having gone thought this I can not buy a ticket from them what I want is my $300 back. Please somebody out there help.

Wholesale Flights Never again with this company

Never and I repeat NEVER again with this company. My husband and I needed two tickets to Czech Republic, one of the ticket was for 3 months, another ticket was for 2 weeks. We were very clear about our term for those 2 tickets - we of course wanted to travel together. We called them and first question was did you already look for prices, well isn't that your work? Than they were very nice and found good deal for us, we had to signed the agreement with them, gave them credit card number for charges and we were happy that we got good deal. Well, that was only for 15 min because we got phone call back from them, that one of the ticket was not issued and that we have to pay more or just go with two different airlines. Crazy, crazy. When we called second time it was very hard to get somebody and after we finally got somebody we told them that we want to cancel the charge because they didn't fulfilled the agreement. They started to threaten us that we signed the agreement and that we will pay them penalty ( from $25 - $2000, - per ticket). Well what could we do, we got more expensive ticket because we didn't want to pay the penalty. Kicker was that the ticket what they offered us I found on different website for less money. They told us that we will get $250 credit because they have price guarantee. Never got that credit and anyway we would never use this company again so it is useless to us. So, be very careful and don't make same mistake like us.

Wholesale Flights False Advertising

Nasty, rude behavior and incompetence is not a crime but false advertising and bait & switch is.
