Whirlpool refrigerate/customer service

I have only had my fridge for 6 months and have had nothing but problems. I have a bottom freezer fridge and it has been leaking. I have had 3 service companies out and still have the same problem. Not to mention all the calls to whirlpool. I will NEVER buy another whirlpool product again. I have left whirlpool 3 message for a guy Tim that gave me his contact information so I wouldn't have to call general number big surprise I haven't received a call back. I want my fridge replaced or money back this is acceptable.

Whirlpool whirlpool fridge broken again

I bought a house with all new appliances, including Whirlpool fridge model WRS571CIDM01. Fridge purchased in May, closed on August 14, and it had not been used in that time. It was empty and working in July, but on August 15 it was not cooling at all. First appointment diagnosed broken evaporator, and on August 31 it was replaced. Over two weeks without a working fridge, and I had to take off of work twice for techs to visit. On September 22, I pulled meat out of the fridge and noticed it was warm and starting to rot. Sure enough, fridge was not cooling AGAIN. Threw out $70 of food, but couldn't reach Whirlpool because they don't have contact between 8pm Friday and 8am Monday. Called today and was on hold for 45 minutes, was transferred from one rep to another. Second rep couldn't have cared less, and says nothing can be done but scheduling a service call. I have to take off of work AGAIN and the service call is in a week. So in six weeks, I have had a broken fridge for longer than a functioning one, and will miss over 6 hours of work. Of course Whirlpool will not replace, or compensate for lost food, or schedule a weekend service call, or compensate for lost wages from missing work. This fridge has been the bane of my existence and Whirlpool has completely blown me off.

I bought a Whirlpool frig at Lowes in Pico Rivera after I bought it I was told that it was on back order, I bought it on 7 July 17 and was first told I would get it in October, then someone from Lowes called to say they had found one in their warehouse and were going to deliver it earlier. I have not had this frig for 2 months it has never worked properly. This ice maker was slow and the frig and freezer were never cold enough, one day the ice maker stopped making ice, a week later I noticed my food was spoiling. Customer service is a joke, they don't really care the inconvenience that the customer is going through they just keep telling you that all they can do is set up an appointment for a tech to come out. I have called many times trying to get someone to come out sooner to fix my frig but no one cares. I am made to wait, I had an appointment for October 17th been waiting for 9 days and now today October 16th I received a call from the Service Company to tell me that parts will be shipped to my address and that I should call them when the parts arrive and to schedule an appointment. No one knows when these parts are going to arrive I'm just to wait and see when the parts will arrive. I called customer service again for the 10th time and I was told that they weren't sure when the parts were going to arrive and I should wait until Thursday, October 19th and call them back if I had not heard anything by then. What? really and mean while I have no working regrigerator. I asked that this frig is new and already all these problems and I asked that it be replaced becuase I felt it was a lemon and their anser was "mam we repair the problems we do not replace the frigerators. I am so disgusted with Whilpool and with Lowes for selling me this piece of JUNK!

Whirlpool generally does a good job with service related issues. With that said, however, have you spoken to the retailer you purchased the appliances through? They can sometimes be of great help.

Hi,
I bought one whirlpool refrigerator at onam time, they are offered gift, it 'll be delivered with the refrigerator, but we didn't got that, so 2 times contacted lulu customer care, they r promised it 'll available in next week, they don't have stock, bad service, they 'll get good sales in future, if they are provide good service after purchasing, but they r providing bad service... so try to keep promise with customers, finally got gift and they r asking GST for that gift

Unfortunately i lost my Reliance JioFi dongle in LULU MALL. Yesterday i was watching in Odi 3rd a movie called U Turn. The device was in my pocket. In the device there is a sim also, which is registered in my name. I could realise my loss only after i reached back home in Aluva. besides Odi 3rd i also visited the hotel just close by PVR Cinemas. Please help me to get it back...

Whirlpool cleaning problems with my dishwasher

I have a Prowash W10751716A tall tub with a 3rd rack. My dishwasher is not cleaning dishes properly, particularly in the top rack and 3rd rack. It doesn't seem to matter what cycle I use, whether I use a rinse agent or not, or how few dishes I load. I've followed the manual in terms of how to load the dishwasher. I've tried everything since I got it 4 months ago. The issue have persisted. At this point, I'm not sure I want the dishwasher any more a t all. I paid a lot of money for what is supposed to be a superior model. But it cleans worse than the 20 year old Kenmore I used to have.

Whirlpool stainless steel fridge

Doors are developing lots of streaks of rust, no one has seen or heard of this happening before, Whirlpool blames it on the fact that I live 1 mile from the Fraser River (which they say has salt water in it) and this has caused my doors to rust! What kind of an excuse is this? The Fraser River empties into the ocean 80 miles away! A service technician could not remove the streaks, he and all others I've spoken to say it is a manufacturers defect!
My fridge is only 4 years old and looks like hell! The extended warranty apparently does not include rust developing, which they neglected to inform me of before I spent the money to purchase the warranty!
They sure don't offer much support or help once they've got your money!

Whirlpool whirlpool washer model wtw4900aw

Purchased 4/23/14 for $497.00 . The water suddenly did not drain complete;y and finish the spin cycle. The repairman said it was the gear that had to be replaced and total cost for parts and labor would be $525. How can your products fail after 3 1/2 years? We are a two person family with doing about three-four loads per week. Are any of the major working parts under a warranty at this time?

Whirlpool refrigerator, stove, and microwave

Some years ago I updated my kitchen. I install Whirlpool products new. I am very dis-satisfied with the products. The stove is suppose to be energy savings. It takes 4 hrs. to clean. The shelves in the refrigerator all cracked at the outer edges shortly after purchase. The door on the microwave cracked at the bottom at numerous areas. Surely you can do better then this. The cracks in the refrigerator shelves are about 1in on all three shelves. The cracks on the microwave door is approx. 5in. at 2 areas. I expected much more then i received.

Whirlpool electrical fire

Whirlpool gas range drop in MOD # SCS3017RB00, SER # XS4112936.
We purchased our home, from JTS new in 2005, only lived there part time until February 2016 and full time since, hence the unit only has 5 yrs use.
Last night I hear tic, tic, tic, I look around then I head a couple of ticks, I go to the kitchen and notice that the igniters on the burners are flickering, I check the on/off knobs they are off then all 4 burners are ignited, by the time I get the bottom drawer out and pull the plug and turn off the gas supply the wires catch fire, nothing I could do, tried to unbolt the unit but by that time the wires burnt up leaving a burnt wire smell all through the house. What if I was not home, this is how electrical fires start. I'm mystified how this occurred and wonder if other units have done the same thing?

Whirlpool appliance quality issue

We bought a refrigerator and microwave from Home Depot and at the time of delivery, Sept. 12, 2017, we found a large dent in the side of the refrigerator and denied delivery. The microwave appeared fine, but when we were installing, noticed some metal was bent. Not enough of an issue to take it back out for a new one, but not up to what we thought Whirpool standards were. We were told that we would be contacted within 24-48 hours for a new delivery date. I have called 2x now and both times have been told that someone would call us with a new date. While I wait, I currently have an old refrigerator that is leaking on my kitchen floor, thus the need for replacement. I am not sure who is at fault at this point but I am not a happy customer at all. This has been the absolute worst purchase! After spending approx. $1700, I expected things would go as planned. Not the case at all! All we did was buy a major headache! I feel compelled to tell my friends and family of this awful experience to save them the same frustration we are experiencing. I decided to contact all involved in this issue first, to see if it can be resolved. For the extra time spent on the phone in the last week and the time taken off work, we should have been compensated better for our issue. I will say that the name Whirlpool has a whole new meaning to me at this time. We have always loved Whirlpool products but this experience makes me want to avoid them at all costs in the future.

Whirlpool refrigerator model#wrx735sdbm00, stove, dishwasher

I filled my kitchen with your appliances and am soooo unhappy with everyone of them. I have a 35 year old Whirlpool refrigerator at my other house and have never had a problem, that's why I bought a room full of your product. The ice maker quit and actually never gave enough ice. Then it started leaking all over my floor. The stove takes twice as long as it should to cook a recipe. I have found 2 parts in my dishwasher that I had to search where they were supposed to go. I will probably not consider ever buying your product again. I have 2 other family members that have the same refrigerator and the same problem. You have 3 very unhappy customers in one family. That's not good odds.

i also purchased the Whirlpool refrigerator model# WRX735SDBM00 from Lowe’s on June 16, 2015, and the extended warranty from Lowe’s. I have had nothing but problems from day one with the ice maker, control panel on the front, ice dispenser on the outside of the refrigerator, the dispenser lights, the calibrate measured fill, and several more. i could go on and on. From day one we have had nothing but problems to the point to where the appliance repair company didn’t know what else to do to fix it. The last time the appliance repair company was out he said “i don’t know what else to do to fix all the problems you are having with this refrigerator, I think Lowe’s should just replace your refrigerator.”. Well Lowe’s does not want to replace it and so now i’m stuck with a refrigerator that does not work properly. My food is spoiling because it does not cool properly and we are having to buy bag ice because you cannot depend on the ice maker. the lights on the control panel pretty much do there own thing. i will never buy appliances from Lowe’s again and always tell everyone I know not to purchase from them.

The washer door locks, the 45 minute time button is lit up; the washer will not start. This is my 89-year-old mother's washer--which she used only yesterday--and now (September 14, 2017) it doesn't work. I need a tech person to walk me through the steps of getting it started because I am not familiar with this washer, even though I bought it because it is a Whirlpool and I thought it was reliable. I have been waiting on the phone with Whirlpool for 36 minutes, listening to this awful music, and I have to tell you--I DO NOT THINK YOU REALIZE HOW VALUABLE MY TIME IS! I am a working mother, daughter, and wife.
You CANNOT call me back because I don't live here, and if you try to talk to my 89-year-old mother, she will not understand you. She is deaf and less tech-savvy than I--which is pretty pathetic.
I WANT TO TALK TO SOMEONE NOW! I WANT TO HELP HER!
I will NEVER buy whirlpool again! Your customer service is THE WORST--and that's saying a lot.

Whirlpool washing machine

We purchased the new washing machine in May 2017abd was delivered on May 13th, 2017. Since the day we got it we have had issues with it leaving a dark residue all over our clothes. They come out looking dirtier then when going in. We called and had a service tech come out. He did nothing but touch a few of the buttons and said we were using too much soap ( this machine is HE and so was the one I had before this for 15 yrs so I'm not knew to this). So I followed his instructions and used the amount of soap he said and nothing same problem. I then tried different settings even less soap and also rinsing them two times all the instructions from your service reps. Same issue is happening. I called back in same technician was sent out he again did nothing to test machine simply told me to try using a different brand of soap. I tried 3 different brands, I even tried running the load of laundry with no soap just water and same issue happening. I called again this time your reps told me maybe there was Bilodeau up in machine not sure why a brand new machine would have Bilodeau up but fine they sent me a product to clean the machine. I did it follow all instructions and still issue is happening so I call back this time a new technician is sent out and he tells me there wish something wrong with the machine doesn't a few things on it and tells me to try a load and if happens again call back right away. He did not teat a pad himself nor stay to watch me do it. Problem happens again. So I called today to speak with a representative she tells me nothing can be done nothing wrong with machine, spike to two supervisors who basically told me nothing they will do, that it's are issue and your company will not help us. So I have spent $1300 on a machine that makes my clothes dirty doesn't wash them I have done all things instructed by your team of professionals and the issue is still happening and now I'm being told to [censored] off basically not your problem you guys do not care and won't help. I am disgusted at how we have been treated, disgusted that your customer service reps are rude and angry your campy refusing to help and I will take all legal action necessary and I am going to my local. News about this if someone does not help us

Whirlpool service for hot water heater parts

On Sept. 7th I spoke with one of your service reps to diagnose a hot water heater problem under warranty. They suggested I replace the Thermopile assembly. I paid the extra money for shipment . Didn't fix the problem. Called again on Sept 8th. This time the gas valve was suggested. So again I paid for the overnight but not until your rep put me on hold to see if Sat delivery was going to be possible because of weather that was coming in. He returned and said yes Sat the 9th was possible since the weather wasn't coming til Monday.
It's Wed the 13th and still no part. That's not the bigger problem, the bigger issue is the way I was just treated by one of your reps. She wanted to give me a lecture on acts of God rather than what had transpired. I can't help there were no notes about shipping, not my problem. I only asked for a refund of shipping, but was treated with no desire for customer satisfaction. I have worked in the customer service industry and internet world for over 30 years, It is a very powerful tool!

Called for extended warranty, your tech came and said the bearings are shot.that took more than a week. now another week later badboy says they are gonna order parts. there are none in north america so who knows when they get them. then they will call for another appointment - probably take another week. why should i have to wait a month to get my machine working...service number 194544

It keeps leaving sticky tar substance on my clothes. I have had to take 4 days off work to accommodate people from your company to look at it but I keep having the same problem. I am extremely disappointed that it's a brand new dryer and you won't just replace it. It's ruining all mine and my kids clothes! At what point will you replace this dryer? How many things need to get ruined and how many times do I gotta take off work?

Whirlpool maytag stainless steel dishwasher

Expensive American Made Junk

Caution, a whirlpool product started the deadly June 14, 2017 London block inferno, at least 79 people perished in the flames!

Purchased this Whirlpool made Maytag Stainless Steel dishwasher Feb 2013. By Jan 2017 the washer was no longer operational. Due to poor factory design the touch pad wiring harness was crushed during the initial assembly. The harness is routed behind the touch pad/pull handle faceplate in the door. The factory design provided no clearance for the harness. Obviously after little use (opening and closing of the door) the pinched portion of the harness behind the pull handle becomes compromised causing an electrical short.

I phoned Whirlpool the maker of the Maytag Stainless Steel Dishwasher for assistance, all they offered was a "repair plan" in excess of $300.00. I purchased this supposedly quality American Made Whirlpool product as well as a range, microwave, washer and dryer in the spirit of supporting US labor. Now I'm stuck with a dishwasher that has an electrical short, that has to be shut off at the breaker box because it will smoke and run without notice! And possibly a fire hazard and Whirlpool trying to milk me for more money. Please think twice before purchasing anything from this Michigan based company.

Whirlpool mini fridge

I bought a Whirlpool office fridge September 10, 2016 at Target . I did not purchase the extended warranty.For the last few months I have been trying to have it fixed or replaced. Now its about three days before the factory warranty up, they promised to send someone to repair it.
Keep in mind I was told I need to get the original receipt of purchase. I requested a copy of my receipt from Target. Now I am playing phone tag up until today. Its always, not the correct department.
Sorry Whirlpool you just lost a customer.

Whirlpool washer model wfw94hexr2 ser c14550095

Five years after purchase board needs replacing and the board is no longer available. Cannot even buy a red front load washer to match base and dryer. We paid a lot for these. I have phoned customer support three times, each time with over a 45 minute wait whiles listening to messages on "longer wait times". tried chat and not once has an agent been available. I am again on line right now (41 minutes). I could not register as the number ws incorrect. (I have a picture of the tag!) so I called the number listed. the US agent answered and transferred me to the Cdn line and I am now up to 43 minutes. This is insane!

Stephen Sharp, Complaints Board, sbsca@rogers.com, 72 Smirle Avenue, Ottawa, Ontario, MOD WFW94HEXR2, SER C14550095. the washer and dryer combination (Duet) was expensive. Five years later the board has gone and apparently there is no replacement. this renders the unit garbage. We also understand that red is no longer available. this renders the base and the dryer garbage. We spent about $3000 on these items and after 5 years we now have to buy new. I am a Director in the Canadian Red Cross and am swamped with the devastation in Texas and now in the Caribbean. I spent my downtime last weekend driving out to do laundry and waiting on line for Whirlpool for over three hours. With what I have going on I do not have time for this any longer. We have used Whirlpool appliances for over 20 years and this is the most expensive and yet the worst product we have ever purchased, and now service is really letting us down. I had a service person come and replace one board that did not help. it is one of the other boards and the main one is not available. Whirlpool whirlpool dryer handle!

Ive replaced this handle twice! I have messaged you about this before without a responce and woukd appreciate it if you coukd send a metal doir handle that doesnt have to be replaced every two months!
Handle is only held on by small plastic pieces that break off easily! I have bought washer dryer fridge and stove from whirlpool and im very disappointed in this cheap made handle being put on the dryer.

Whirlpool dishwasher

I bought a Whirlpool dishwasher from Lowes in September 2016. In June 2016 it stopped washing dishes- took a week to get someone to come fix. Then it quit drying and draining at the end of June. I am STILL waiting for a resolution. I had to call twice a week for 2 months and got nothing but a run around. They told me last week that i can get a replacement but i had to wait for the delivery company to get ahold of me, well they still have not called me. Every time i call i am on the phone for an hour - and i still have a broken dishwasher. on one call i actually had a "resolution specialist" laugh at me when i told him my problem. I am beyond mad and am just ready to give up- I HATE Whirlpool.
