Whirlpool whirlpool refrigerator model wrf993fif00

We purchased this unit on 3/4/2017 on-line through Sears.com. It was delivered 3/28/2017. The refrigerator wouldn't cool after two months. Whirlpool was contacted and a tech appointment was made. But that repair company declined the work due to sick family members. We were not contacted about this. When we did find out I called Whirlpool back but they couldn't take my word for they needed to contact to service repair company. It was confirmed that they declined the work order so another repair company was scheduled for the following week. They did come out and "work " on it. I get home from work the day of the repair and the temp in the refrigerator was 49 degrees. I called the repair company and we got the run around "The unit was open for a long time it would take 24 hours to get down to temp. give it time." Next morning still not working and also ice was not working now. Called back "give it more time and about the ice maybe the unit needed resetting." Called Whirlpool back unit still not working made another appointment. Never saw or heard from this company. Called them and asked why they didn't show and they told me that they recused the order because they didn't service my area. I asked when that was and they said the same day they got the order"Last week".
Called Whirlpool back told them the story they didn't believe me "again" had to call to verify. Another service repair was made for a Saturday, different company this time I got the name of this company and I called them right away. The office personnel at this company said that she had just got the work order and that she was just getting ready the call me. I asked why and she said they don;t work weekends. I asked why would Whirlpool make an appointment for Saturday if you were not available on the weekends. She said Whirlpool does that all the time. They came out on Monday. They said that a new compressor and motherboard was needed. Tech left and would be in touch, no word from them all week I left a voice mail on Friday asking the ETA. On Monday I called back and office person said they did get my voice mail on Friday and that the owner was going to call me "he didn't" . They recused themselves from the work order. Sent it back to Whirlpool. I asked why and they said their Tech quit a week ago. "Special certified tech for installing compressors." The owner was going to call you, Whirlpool[ool was already notified no call from them. I called Whirlpool back "again" and once again there was on trust, they needed to confirm what I told them. I was put on hold for 27 min, I was told that a compressor and motherboard would be installed on you guessed it next Tuesday, by the same repair company that didn't fix it right the first time. I was not happy, I really didn't want them to work on it, they didn't do it right the first time and when I called and told them it wasn't working all I got was the run-around. "Give it time the temp will come down reset the unit..." You guessed it again, they would be out no Tuesday, with everything they needed to repair the refrigerator. Guess what on Monday they call, they would not be able to repair the refrigerator on Tuesday because "there are NO compressors available from Whirlpool and Whirlpool didn't have an ETA as to when they would be. I called Whirlpool back and told them to come and pick their refrigerator, they told me they couldn't do that, you guess it they needed to verify that everything I told them was correct"NO TRUST" and it just so happened that their systems were all down and I would have to call back tomorrow. I asked to speak with a supervisor, I did and was told the same thing. I called the next day and once again with all the history on their screen there was no trust they needed to contact the repair company about the compressor shortage. When this was confirmed the operator basically washed her hands of this whole issue. "It is now in settlement hands they will be in touch with you as soon as I send this to them. No ETA on when I would be contacted. Four days later we get a call from Deborah ph#[protected] #4805 ref#[protected]. We call on hold for 29 min this time . I am told there are currently no units available and that I could get a full refund after I fax in my receipt. I asked when would I see that refund and am told with a very cherry voice "Oh you should see that in about 3 weeks or so." I have not had a refrigerator for over two(2) months. I do not have funds to get another one at this time which means I will need to wait another month or more if there is one in stock if not another month after for delivery. There are 10 people in this family shopping every day for perishable items is very time and added monetary expense. When I asked about all of the lost food we have already had and compensation for any of it. I was asked did you buy the extended warranty. There will be no compensation for your pain and suffering. For the extra time shopping daily. For the gas and wasted food because you bought something that was perishable and it is not our fault that you didn't or couldn't eat it all before it went bad "about 4 hours time". This company doesn't stand behind their product, if you don't purchase the extended warranty. Every time I called Sears or Whirlpool the first and last thing I am always asked? "Did you buy the extended warranty?" No, well we can't help you if you didn't, because the manufactures warranty just isn't good enough.

Respectfully submitted,
Andrew Griest

Whirlpool 4gwtw4950yw whirlpool washing machine c42430107

I bought this washing machine for 42, 998.00 php ( 914.86 USD) in Nov. 2014 since that time I had the machine serviced 4 times within the two year warranty period. This week the washing machine won't work again and the repair needed to be done to make it work was estimated at 11, 000.00 php (220 USD) a fourth of its original price, this is only its eighth month after the last repair. This washing machine is just two years and eight months and is used only once a week I am the only person using it. I bought this brand because I believe that the Whirlpool brand is synonymous with good quality but I am very very disappointed. With the amount of hard earned money I paid for this washing machine, I was not expecting such a lousy product.

Whirlpool whirlpool stainless steel french door refrigerator

I purchased my refrigerator from Home Depot on April 18, and it was delivered about a week later. Since I've had it, it has not made an adequate amount of ice. If would not make enough for my family of 3 to all have ice with a meal. It started making less and less until it just stopped. I called for service, which took more than a week for someone to come, then he said he had to order a part which took another week. He came out this past Thursday. Four days later and it has made a total of one stadium tumbler full of ice. It also makes a noise like a motor that is trying to run but can't. To make matters worse, I called the customer service # and made the selection to be called back. When I got my call back, I was immediately disconnected. I spent a lot of money for a top of the line refrigerator and expect excellence in performance. I am not pleased at all and I would like my money back so that I can purchase a refrigerator that works.

Whirlpool energy star 2.0 front load washer

I bought this washer due to its small size, when I moved into an old home that does not have space for today's large washers and dryers. Was delivered in January of this year. In April began the first problems. I have had at least 8 visits from Whirlpool's authorized repairmen. They have replaced every single part on the washer and I am still having problems now in late July. Whirlpool's customer service has been the worst I have ever experienced. They have spent nearly double the cost repairing the washer, then had they just replaced washer after the first time the repairman could not fix the washer. One customer service representative actually told me the cost of repairs that had been submitted by their servicemen and that was before the computer was replaced and two more repairman visits. The two different repairmen that have serviced the washer both said the same thing, "this washer should be replaced." However they will not say that to Whirlpool because if they do that Whirlpool takes the washer to their facility and puts it on machines to test and if they don't find a problem, the authorized repairman has to reimburse Whirlpool the cost of the machine! This is straight from their repairman' mouth. Their customer service representatives have been rude and dismissive and they actually laughed when I inquired about getting my laundromat expenses reimbursed, which have been considerable since my machine has been on the fritz more than not. I will never ever purchase a Whirlpool appliance again.

Whirlpool delivery and installation of whirlpool washing machine

I purchased a Whirlpool washing machine on 7/18/17 from Norwalk, CT store. I was told they would call night before for delivery time on 7/20/17. I never received call night before so I called customer service on 7/20/17 around 8:30am and was told I was last delivery #13 of the day and it should be between 1 and 4 but most likely around 4pm I did get call around 9:30 from delivery driver who said he would now deliver between 2:30 and 5:30 and I was still #13. I told him this is rental unit and my tenant has doctor's appointment at 2pm but I could let them in. I asked the driver since this is last delivery that I would probably be later in day like around 4. He told me yes but if his scheduled changed he would call me earlier and let me know. received pc at 2:27 without any message. I then got call from store at 2:58 saying delivery man was outside unit at 2:30. I started heading up to condo but store told me it was too late that driver already left. I called store and spoke with store manager Joe and told him what happened. The driver lead me to believe that I would be his last delivery and not the first. I was upset because this is 3rd time I have had issues with PC Richard delivery. I never complained before but very poor communication with delivery people, store, installation.
The store manager Joe said he could not get truck back. It was only few minutes after 3pm. I was upset and said should I just cancel order and purchase somewhere else. He told me I could by product anywhere I wanted.( not helpful, poor communication to customer). I made arrangements to have truck deliver the machine next morning 7/21/17. My tenant was able to left them in around 8am. She text me that they set up machine and took old one away very fast. She said they set the machine to run through a short cyle without any detergent and off they went. She went down to basement a half hour later to find washer was spewing water all over the floor. They did not connect pipe properly. She turned off machine but this is finished basement and carpet got soaked. I went up there to condo and called store who said that they do not know why delivery team installed machine and turned it on without proper attachment. No one from delivery team called me or store to say that they could not install because they needed hose extension. I have pictures of damage to carpet.
Later that afternoon Kevin- store manager who was helpful and understood my frustration delivered hose extension.
My carpet was soaked I tried drying with fan but was not working. I do not want mold in my basement. No one from delivery/insulation attempted to clean up the mess they made. I had to call Andrew Fry from FDX Restoration to come dry up carpet and padding. PC Richards or delivery crew is responsible to cleaning up this mess. I requested Distrist Manager or someone from customer service call me to rectify this issue.

Whirlpool quiet whisper iii - dishwasher

dishwasher caused catestrophic flood:
wednesday july 19th, dishwasher was set at 5pm on a quick wash cycle, 6 hour time
delay.
thursday july 20th -7h15 am woke to our house steamy like a sauna, all windows heavily condensed. walked into our kitchen which was 1 inch under water.
the dishwasher had the 'clean' indicator on that shows the cycle has completed, but you could hear water still being supplied to the dishwasher.
the dishwasher sensor turning off the supply had obviously malfunctioned. i opened the dishwasher; you clearly could see water being supplied through the intake valve. the bottom of the dishwasher was full of water and was not draining.
opening the dishwasher seemed to reset the system and interrupt the malfunction and it stopped supplying hot water.
our insurance emergency restoration expert's initial estimate based on drywall saturation tests is that the dishwasher was depositing water into our kitchen for at least 6 hours.
as we have an on demand hot water system, this was 6+ hours at 125 degrees.
we had an appliance technician in who could not reproduce the sensor malfunction, but who did find the seal at the bottom of the dishwasher door was leaking, likely from the sustained water pressure.
this has caused tens of thousands of dollars of damage to our main floor and 85-90% of our finished basement. our insurance company is estimating 2-3 months to correct the damage caused by this dishwasher.
we are also expecting an outrageously high gas and water bill, which will not be covered by our insurance, and it will also
be our responsibility to pay for the dishwasher destroying our home.
there is talk of us having to move out of our home in order to ensure that work can be completed - refinishing the entire main floor and rebuilding our basement from cinder blocks up.
my husband and i have already had to take time off work to deal with the horrendous damage this dishwasher has caused.
beyond that, our 3 year old daughter is living in fear of "the leaking" in our house, and has been trying to be emotionally supportive of me, her mom.
i am currently 8 months pregnant and over and above the stress this flood has caused emotionally and physically, i am dealing with the likelihood that our home will not be fixed or safe to bring our new baby home to in september - all because of this faulty product.

To,
Head of Department - Service

Subject : System goes out of warranty due to delay in fault identification, wrong service and extending days to attained compliant.

Dear Sir/ Madam, ,
Due to failure in fault identification / casualness/ delay in service by gurgaon service centre, rectification / responses not happens on time and my system goes out of warranty
My system was in warranty till 29th June'17 but due to failures in fault identification from 10th June, neither my system repaired nor I used AC in summer seasons (wef 10th June'17).
Requesting management to look matter and repair my AC under warranty as the entire delay is from service centre end.
Referring my grievances under subject for complaint,
1. On 10th June'17 at 10.35 AM - Registered compliant against AC not cooling (SR No. HR0617004316)
2. On 10th June'17 at 5PM - Two technician visited my house and they only switch ON power and stated that non availability of Gas is the reasons of “AC not cooling”. They demanded for visit charge without doing anything but I refused for same as instruction from customer care.
3. On 11th June'17 at 4 PM - Two other technicians visited and they filled gas. I paid via Paytm of INR 2365/- with 3 month of warranty. I did not give me invoice for same and promised to give it by tomorrow.
4. On 12th June'17 - I realize there is no cooling and status remains same as previous.
5. On 13th June'17 – I call to service technician about said issues and they commit to come on 14th June but didn't come.
6. On 14th June'17 – I called to service centre [protected]) and registered complaint to service co-coordinator Mr. Neeraj. He commits to send technician on 15th June and again technician didn't come.
7. On 15th June - Again reminded to Mr. Neeraj but nothing happens.
8. In between 16th - 25th June'17 – I connected to Mr. Sunil, Service Manager @ [protected] but he didn't picked my call / not responded.
9. Then after I went for holidays and returned week back.
10. After coming back from holidays, I then registered complaint ON 14TH July'17 for not cooling at CUSTOMER CARE
11. On 15th July'17 - Tried to reach Mr. Sunil again but not responded. Then received call from Mr. Neeraj and they send technician on 15th July.
12. 15th July'17 – Same technician (who did service on 11th June) came and tested
a. First they are saying, problem in power card without investigation the issues.
b. After testing, they said about fault in stabilizer
c. Bypassed stabilizer and tested, then they concluded that CAPACITOR is not taking load at 5 PM and ask me INR 1000/- to purchase. They went to shop and procure new capacitor (even bill not shown to me).
d. They replaced capacitor but problem remains same. After that they said “YOUR COMPESSOR is faulty” and suggesting for get is replaced.
e. He did not taken whirlpool satisfaction code and while returning I pushed to place my old capacitor but denied with reasons of NON REFUNDABLE . After argument, they placed old capacitor and refund INR 870/- instead of INR 1000/- with the statement of “I don't have money ” and will give while coming next time.
f. After 15th July'17 – No one attending issues calls from service centre also not responding. Then I contacted to whirlpool customer care.
g. Tried to escalate to higher management with SR No. HR0717005602 but executive unable to connect. But she gave me help desk mail id for escalation. She committed for call back arrangement but again no call from Whirlpool
13. Expecting management for quick action as I am suffering since last one month +.
14. Services and responses I received from service centre is pathetic.
Worst services I never seen before this. I am using whirlpool 3D Aircon, Whirlpool double door Freeze and 360 degree 11 ltr bloom washing machine. Keeping a valued customer of Whirlpool, quick action should be taken from management.
Thanks & Best Regards

Whirlpool whirlpool refrigerator out of warranty period

I have a 2door fridge white so number INA044707715 bought on 25/08/2005, chennai.
I have full satisfaction all these years. Only once about 6 years ago, the pipe taking the freezer, got frozen with ice, it was correctly diagnosed and set right.
Now on 16th July it did not work. Next morning I complained to whirlpool numberCN0717016766. A tech from the authorised agent, A.S.Associates. Name is Ajit came.
Straightaway he looked into the fan chamber, told me it is nit working. Then he took it out and fixed a new fan unit, and also another part both he had already brought with him, changed. Said, it will take to cool, and gave me a bill of Rs. 4450+400=Rs. 4850/- I gave a cheque.
That evening, I checked, found the fridge not at all working. So again I complained number CN01204341895.the same Ajit came, looked behind the compressor, pulled out a small connector & adaptor, replaced, said it will work. No it did not. I called Ajit yesterday evening, said his visit time is over, he will come tomorrow, I.e., today.
He went to the backside of the fan area. And said power supply small cable to be replaced. He replaced it. It is now working.
I am damn sure it is 100% planned CHEATING. Look at the problem. Any tech will first see if power connection is good anf no fault; then a genuine and honest tech will do that first. Then he will find out why gpfan is not working.
It is deliberate cheating. I will not encourage this agent to work for Whirlpool, this name will become disrepute. Please change this group. It has cost me Rs.50000/- I have attached the pictures of the parts he removed on 2 days.

Whirlpool indesit washing machine

Ref M-[protected]

To Whom it may concern,

I had a brand new Indesit washing machine delivered & installed by yourselves on the 07/06/17. The delivery man scratched 3 tiles when installing the washing machine, which I reported you to on same day.

The new washing machine was then leaking, so I again phoned customer services on the 09/06/17 to report this. They booked an engineer visit to come on the 13/06/17. The new faulty washing machine leaked 3 times over my new kitchen flooring, which I phoned customer services to report several times (09/06/17, 10/06/17 & 12/06/17), which they said to wait for the engineer visit on the 13/06/17. The engineer came to find that the new washing machine was faulty, there was a problem with the draw filtering the conditioner (this will be on your records), he then ordered the 4 new parts and re-book another engineer visit for the 16/06/17. The engineer came with the parts & repaired the new washing machine. I was never offer a new replacement washing machine which I am disappointed about as I feel this should have been automatically offered, as I had just paid for a new washing machine, why should a brand new washing machine be repaired & not replaced?

I was very disappointed yesterday to receive a phone call from your senior customer advisor, regarding my complaint being compensated for all the inconvenience above I have suffered from Whirpool.

The gentleman at first offered me £30.00, then increasing this to £50.00, plus a years extra warranty. I find this a complete insult, I lost a day's annual leave (which equates to £70.00), plus inconvenient of taking my washing to family & friends for over a week whilst I was waiting for my new washing machine to be fixed, plus all the phone calls to customer services & the claims line. It is an absolute joke, I should be compensated at least £100.00. Why should a customer be out of pocket for buying a new washing machine from yourselves.

I want this matter looking into further and not just to be shrugged off.

A very unhappy customer.

Regards,

Mrs Hodgson
UK Customer

Whirlpool microwave

I bought this microwave through whirlpool back in June 22nd, and been told it only going to takes about 7 - 10 business days to delivery and install. Today is July 17th, and I been scheduled to install my microwave on the 20th from no exactly time since the company who gonna install the microwave kept hang up on me. I called back to Whirlpool, spoke to Shenita who claimed herself as the supervisor of the department with no help at all! I been waiting for this microwave for almost a month! She only told me that she felt sorry because no one called me to explain why, and she can only tell me that they going to install the microwave between 11am to 8pm. Seriously? If I asked you to stay at home for 9hours to do nothing besides waiting for a microwave, will you do it? She told me that there is nothing she can do besides put me and the installing company on the same line and ask for the time frame or reschedule. This is so annoying that the way she's talking is like its all my fault. I asked her back what do you want me have any expectation to purchase whirlpool products, she said if you don't then you don't have to. Whatttt? Is this really a customer service? a supervisor? You got be kidding me.

What on the earth that whirlpool expect their customers to do? This is how to treat your customers? You can delay the delivery time, the installation time with no explanation, and nothing you can do beside push your customers to other company, why don't you delay to charge my card?

Whirlpool door cracked on over the stove microwave.

I bought a replacement over the stove Whirlpool microwave oven after a lightning strike hit my original one. I hired a handyman to install the new one. I bought this microwave from Sears but I don't expect them to honor any requests I have because it was approximately five years ago and I don't have any of the paper work.

After a few months of using this microwave, the door showed a small crack. Soon there were several cracks and I had to tape it with clear shipping tape.
In spite of being ever so careful when closing the door, it continued to crack. If not for the tape I put on it, chips would fall off. It's an eyesore and probably dangerous.

I called Whirlpool from a number I got off their website. The rep told me he had never heard of this happening. He offered advice for me to be sure and use the fans while I am cooking and he advised me to order a new door at a cost of $137. I still have it in the box as I can't find anyone to put it on. I want to try to return it even though it has been some time since I ordered it. Since I now learn that cracking is common on this unit, I'm afraid the same thing will happen and I am just not able to afford a replacement. I just don't know what to do.

I have the new door, but I have no other proof of talking to Whirlpool and receiving false info plus being advised to order the new door. I am sure there are many complaints about this item. Can you help me?

Whirlpool mod wdt720padh2 badly designed dishwasher has broken 3 times

Hello
I purchased this dishwasher January 22, 2016 from Lowe's. I've had a series of problems. Some are bad design, some are weak plastic.
>November 7 2016: The Upper Rack Caps, a mechanism that allows the top shelf to be raised and lowered broke.
>November 16 2016: The repair man was great and came to repair it.
>January 18 2017: The same mechanism broke again. The same great repair man visited and we agreed that the best solution was to immobilize the top shelf, so it couldn't be adjusted up and down. He used plastic cable ties to hold them in place.
>July 10 2017: I was loading the silverware tray and bumped the silverware clip and the end snapped off. I'm 60 - I didn't bump it hard. The plastic should never have broken.
July 15 2017: I spoke to a very nice woman who helped me order this broken part.
DESIGN FLAWS
>The idea of the lifting and lowering the upper tray was badly thought out.
>If I put knives in the left hand side of the silverware tray, they sit too high and the detergent dispenser doesn't open. BAD DESIGN
>The holes for the silverware tray are so small that most of my cutlery doesn't fit in them. BAD DESIGN
>The silverware clip should never have broken when I bumped it. BAD CHOICE OF PLASTIC
The machine has not been used that often. We ran it only 2-3 times a week. I dread what other parts are going to break and wish I had never purchased this machine. I will contact Consumer Reports and try to warn other people about this badly designed badly built machine.
It must be hard for the capable staff to be supporting an inferior product.

Whirlpool appliances

I ordered a complete kitchen appliance set from Leons. They are from Whirlpool brand. I was told by the sales agent Tony from Leon's vaughan that nothing was in stock and that I would get a call when it came in and to set up a delivery date. He said that it would be a couple of weeks. This was end of May/ beginning of June. So the appliances apparently came in as I got a call from Tony telling me to set up an appointment for delivery. So I called and set up an appointment for July 13. I am doing kitchen renovations and this was the date that everything else would be finished. I threw out all my old appliances thinking that I would be getting my merchandise on the 13th. I got a call on the evening of the 11 stating that there was a mix up and my stuff was actually not in stock. The gentleman proceeded to explain and bad mouth his colleagues by saying that they did not know what they were talking about when they said that it was in stock. I asked to speak to manager Sohaib. He said that they would be delivered in about a week. I told him that this was not ok and then i asked what he meant by a week. I wanted an exact date. He did not have one which was really frustrating. If you dont have a kitchen then everyday counts and is a lot. It can't just be "I think in about a week". He then asked me when next week I would like to have it. Did not make sense to me as I think the obvious answer would be as soon as possible. He then said he would have to check dates for availability but then why did he ask me what date I wanted them? He had no idea what he was talking about. He said he would call me back and he never did. I am currently contemplating going back to the store and getting my deposit back and canceling the order and going to IKEA which has exceptional consumer service. I told the guy on the phone that I would write a bad review and he said that "that was my decision". Where is the concept of "it was our mistake and we will cover the costs of any inconvenience"? Give me something as a costumer that will make up for your mistake. sorry is not good enough when I set up delivery a month ago and was told by Leon's staff members that my items were in stock.

Whirlpool whirlpool-cabrio (electric dryer)

This dryer has been a lemon from the beginning. Within the first month, I had to call the place I was renting to own it thru, to have them come pick it up to have it taken in for service. It is always the same problem that needs to be fixed, the thermal switch. I have had this machine fixed around 10 times or more. I spent a small fortune on this product and cannot afford to go keep purchasing new dryer after new dryer. When this dryer gets hot it gets hot enough to burn a small child so I have always had to keep children away from it. I have informed Whirlpool of this issue and the other issues I have encountered with their other products such as the washer that I had that was the matching CABRIO that the drum broke (mysteriously) and ruined my wooden floor or the newer refridgator that the freezer ices up on to the point you can't get the door open after just defrosting it the day before. I was told their is nothing they can do for me cause I should have spent even more money and purchased an even longer warranty. What happened to the days where if a company produced junk they would do something for the customer about making it right. Never again will I buy there junk.

Hello this company is a rip off I paid for a warranty (450.00) to fix my washing machine when the service man came the first time to see what the problem was. And order parts and left the second time he came had to order more parts and left the third time the part came and it was broken in the box. The 4th time that he came to the house 1 hour later he was stretching his head . I knew something was wrong. Do you know after all that they told me that they won't be able to fix it one month later. My problem is that the service guy came 4 times they charged me for him to come every time (that Is wrong) then they charged me for the parts that he did not fix, they never sent my warranty paperwork in the mail, I can't even see what it says, they did not even have the decency to call me and explain the situation . I had to call them, on top of all that the service guy could only come once a week (wow) [censor] service . Do not waist your money on whirlpool they do not care at all, I was told buy a person on the phone at whirlpool that WE WILL NOT LEAVE YOU HI AND DRY that was not true do not trust my next one will not be a whirlpool.

Whirlpool whirlpool

Within a month of living in Sunset farms we have noticed multiple things missing within our home, and today our refrigerator broke down and there is no service tech available for 3 days! We have been lied to about the two story homes going up around us and the obstruction of views, and watching the headaches of my parents who for the first time in their life were hoping to enjoy being new home buyers only to realize that its nothing its cracked up to be is very unfortunate.

Whirlpool wvwb880bw0 serial c43171072

My washer is 2 1/2 years old. The top portion toward the rear of the opening is rusting away. My replaced Maytag was 20 years old and the only reason I replaced it was because it was old, I wish I would have kept it, it would be still working with no problems.. In addition I have had (2) outer tub with bearing replaced. The last one replaced 6 months after the last one. Has the issue with the tub bearings been resolved so I do not have this problem anymore? Is there a lemon department within Whirlpool I can discuss this ongoing problem with? Its obvious a problem with your parts and I want to get some resolve with this matter.

Whirlpool whirlpool side-by-side refrigerator

Jacqueline DB
Philadelphia, PA

Refrigerator manufactured in May of 2012, purchased at end of June 2012 dies. Service rep from Best Buy's Geek Squad comes out and states that it is the compressor. I don't understand how a refrigerator can go bad in 5 years. I own a Kenmore refrigerator which I have had for over 20 years and it is still running. I am not certain what would cause a perfectly faultless product to die in 5 years. It would seem to me that the product had to be faulty from the beginning. I am now faced with spending $500 to replace a compressor. Please advise if there was a recall on the product that was somehow overlooked.

Whirlpool gsc25c4eyy00 whirlpool gold refrigerator

Can you tell my Why no Power is getting to my Ice Maker. This is a 5 1/2 year old unit and been nothing but trouble. Please help. I have already spent $565.00 out of my pocket. Two Valves, Ice Maker, 2 Optic Boards, and a Main Board. I spoke with a Whirlpool Rep yesterday and she just told me that there was not a recall but additional info on this unit to fix the problem, but wouldn't tell me.
