I had the displeasure of doing advertising business with the owners Abe Malla and Nohad Arslan of World of Rugs. After the contract was signed with World of Rugs, we ran the agreed upon Ads for World of Rugs. World of Rugs initially stayed true to the agreement. Then for whatever reason, World of Rugs stopped paying the bills, gave excuse after excuse, and then altogether stopped returning any calls. After repeatedly trying to contact and leaving messages for Mr. Arslan and Mr. Malla, I finally talked to Mr. Malla. He was very arrogant and said they were not going to pay and to "Do what you need to do." I talked to several other advertisers and found out that this was the modus of operandi of Mr. Malla and that this had occurred many times with Mr. Malla with other advertisers.
As we ended up pursuing legal action (and won) against Mr. Malla, a trend has appeared with some easy internet searches. 17 Court cases just in the Atlanta area alone.

The Westside Market business has some obvious serious red flags, bells and whistles of a Ponzi scheme. This recipe appears to be a fraudulent and illegal scam that promises high returns with little or no risk to the most recent investors, All aspects of this business should be thoroughly investigated by anyone getting involved, from employee, vendor and investor. Vendors are presented with contracts that attempt to lock them into six-month contracts under a disguise of "marketing fees" rather than spelling out in the contract they are subleasing space. Profit and loss statements of each individual location of the business are hidden along with the manufactured documentation that attempts to counter the information of Abe Malla's history online. The information used to counter the claims online seems to be distorted and appears to be falsified, too. Abe Malla's manipulations with the internal hidden aspects of the business apparently pays the profits to the early investors, vendors, and employees, along with funneling the money out to personal manipulated accounts using the money taken from his later investors, rather than the investments of the business. Purposely, there are no assets or liabilities or investments in the business owner's name. - Westside Market Midtown and Toco has experienced a revolving door of employees 15+ including Store Managers (5 in the past 4 years) Operations Managers (5 in the last 4 years), Sales Team (10+ in the last 4 years) Accountants (3 in the last 4 years) and a most recent private investigator hired by investors of the Roswell location. A kaleidoscope of professional individuals have enough firsthand information about "the owner of Westside Market" that can substantiate and support any and all claims posted on this complaints board. In addition, there are reviews attached from other websites. Believe what you read. Follow your gut instincts. A small amount of vendors signing up for this business make a return profit. Those making a profit in the short-term risk being paid monthly and their investment of a huge inventory that could be challenging to remove if the business goes belly up. Beware! Do your research. If it feels like a conman, a liar, a thief ... it is. You be the judge. Information, Information, Information.
Totally agree with experiences to share.
He is very cunning. He will tell you what you want to hear while his secret agendas are being carried out behind your back. This guy is all about money at any cost. Be very careful with him. He has several businesses and only one has been successful due to his ex partners. Westside Market in Atlanta. I'm a big believer in you reap what you sow. It won't be long before this business in down too.
Agree.
BE AWARE OF THAT BRIGAND.
I know this crook, he is dangerous, thief, scum and the lowest form of immigrants who abuse the law.
He stole a lot of people’s money & he destroyed a lot of families, committed a lot of crimes but unfortunately he’s still living in Alpharetta, in a 1 million dollar house, driving a brand new car.
He knows the law and knows how to use it against his victims.
His mother the same, she’s managing Islamic school & taking money from people to teach them about Islam while she’s not qualified to do so but this family will do anything to get your money.
