My wife and I took a timeshare preview for some free tickets and once we declined, we were given our tickets about 3 timeshare agents tied to get us to buy. Needless to say, once we received our tickets, we were approached by a agent stating she was with westgate travel club. She advised for 1 hour power point preview, she would give us dinner for 2 and 2 movie passes. I asked her was this a timeshare presentation and she stated no. Once we met our agent, she was very nice and tried to get to know us. We told her that we had several bad experiences with timeshare previews and we were told this was only a slideshow for 1 hour. After the agent kept us at "breakfast" for a hour, the show began. The salesman told us at the beginning of the slide show, this is a simple presentation and once you say no, you are done. You get your free prize and go on to your vacation. Not true! This is nothing more that an attempt to get you to join a travel club for over $8, 000.
I had to get rude with the agent and told them all I wanted were our tickets.
Folks, be aware of all this "free" stuff. Your 90 minutes always turn into 3 hours.

the same thing happened to me and my husband only we were stupid enough to buy a trial run in the travel club. this club is a joke and we regret it everyday. dont buy anything from those people all they care about is money and they are going to get it no matter how many people they have to scam to get it!
