I attended Western Career College Medical Assistant Program in 2006 the only reason why i decided to go was because they stated there would be job placement and help with resume etc...However i have not been giving that opportunity. I have not been able to get a job for Medical Assistant nor have Western Career College stood by what they advertising.I feel like all they do is take the money and leave the students out to dry with debt. Now here it is years later still cant get a hospital to honor where i graduated from (Western Career College) and now i'm stuck with a 20k loan for a 9month program, that i can't even get a job.I think that that ppl that attend Western should have there loans forgiven.Its so unfair that we don't get what was advertised for the program, but they can leave thousand of ppl in debt and all they do is change the name of the school to scam more ppl..
I went to western business college but did not finish my degree. A perkins loan was taken out in my name back in Tennessee in 1997. I attended school in 91 to feb 1993. I went to school in Vancouver Washington and
never went to Everest which is formerly western business college. I never lived in tenneesee and never took out a perkins loan. not sure how to get rid of it. I paid back all my other loans but don't feel I should have to pay back a loan during a time and place I never went to school.
My friend paid there western business college loans in full we are wondering if we qualify for reimbusment based on not being able to get a degree

Go to the federal loan forgiveness cancellation discharge on line and file a for for discharge under fraud!
I went to western career college and received the same junk degree that is worthless can’t get a job and credit don’t transfer like they said. I’m filing on line fraud against the school that scammed me out of money ruined my credit with false promises. School closed and never got my degree for graduating this college. I didn’t have the 200 dollars for a degree that I earned. No matter closed school can’t recall students who apply for jobs and because of that as well employment can’t verify I ever went to this coll he on top of it can’t get job with poor credit as a Biller with a AS degree Spent 2 years earning and can’t get a job. Students loan has tripled since I took it out. This school is a scam and should be sued.
Hello. I was reading this comment and this is the exact same thing that happened to me in 2007. Did the discharge ever go through for you?
After spending two years dedicating my life to furthering my education at Western Career college, I found my degrees are no better then a piece of paper. Why I feel this way you ask, basically what this college did is wrote their name on a template printed out our degrees without no seal nor date imagine how surprised I was on top of that there was no on the job placement as promised. When I tried to contact the school to get a degree with a seal, I found Western Career College was bought out by Silicon Valley College shortly after I graduated now I have a college loan that has to be paid back with a degree I can't use. What a catch 22. Does anyone know where to go and who to talk to when this happens Please help.
