Wendy’s - termination

Hi my name is Jeffery Cross i was terminated yesterday do to a situation that occurred. I was working doing my usual job and i really needed to leave early to get some unfinished Christmas shopping done. So one of mangers(Marquell Harris) was asked to sweep outside around the building but like in most cases he didn't wanna do the work. So im in the middle of doing my work trying to rush to go home early so i can finish my Christmas shopping. So Marquell asked me to go sweep so he wouldn't have to do it. So i politely told him i wasnt gone to be do it cause i had to finish up my own wirk. So he told me to clock out and go home. So a few hours later i get calls from other co-workers informing me dat i had been terminated. So i couldn't understand why i hadn't heard from any one of the mangers. But the whole restaurant knew about my termination before i did. So the next morning i receive a text from my general manger (Keenesha Walker) stating i had been terminated. I really thank this was veryunprofessional how they went about the situation. I didnt even get to speak with my district manager (Tania Price) or my general manger (keenesha Walker). They just terminated me and the entire store even knew about it. They didn't even ask not one employee for a statement. I have been working here for almost 2 year's i never miss work when schedule and always on time. Customers also love me at this job and ao do my co-workers

First off polyvinylchloride i never lipped off the manager asked a question i gave a answer. If i knew i would have lost my job by answering no i wouldn't have done it. But besides that i said i dont like how it was handled. My co-workers knew about my termination before i did. I even find it out through a text that i was terminated. But i guess u guys consider this as good management.

You wanted to leave early to go shopping...
Your boss asked you to do something, you said no; because you wanted to leave early to go shopping... I would have told you no, go shopping on your own time.
You were terminated when you refused to do what you were asked, it's simple.

You may not have directly said that you are the perfect employee, but you are implying that you never missed work for two years, all the customers loved you ect. You are implying that you are at least a good employee, and when a manager gives you a task and you say "no" you are not as good as you claim to be. You make him seem bad because he was to lazy to clean the floors but what about you? When you stop acting like you are eight years old perhaps you can try to get another job, until then remember when your boss tells you to do something you either do it. Also am I not the only one that believes that this is not the first time you were asked to do something and you said no and tried to leave early? After you finish doing your own "wirk" you do what your "manger" asked you to do.

You need to grow up and learn to follow the rules. You are there to work, not to lip off at the boss and try to set your own schedule and decide what you do and don't want to do. Good grief, what is wrong with these kids nowadays?

"So i politely told him i wasnt gone to be do it cause i had to finish up my own wirk. "

So you did not to the "wirk" that the manager wanted you to do, that is grounds of termination.

Sundaytimes sounds like this person was asked to clock out because of his refusal to 'wirk" as he was asked to do. Them fired for it. Then he complains the manager did not want to do it. He did not want to do it either and it would have taken 5-15 .

I seriously doubt the whole restaurant knew before you did, you are just imagining things.

"have been working here for almost 2 year's i never miss work when schedule and always on time. Customers also love me at this job and ao do my co-workers"

Yeah everyone says they are the perfect employee.
