Wendy’s no receipt given

I just left the wendys on hwy 98 in hattiesburg mississippi and went thru drive in window.. You pay at one window and pick up food and reciept at the other…. No reciept… I asked for a reciept 2 times and was told they were out of reciept paper.. Then I asked for them to simply write it down for me (I keep good records of my debit card) they looked as if I were crazy and stated they had “no pen”…. Hello I had a pen asked what the total was and wrote the information down my self… terrible… and rude about it too! Won”t be back and will tell everyone that will listen! Sorry wendys your out!

Wendy’s being illegally terminated

I have worked at Wendy's restaurant since December of 2010. When I first got the job I was given many shifts until a manager named Anne Marie decided that she has a "personality conflict" with me she cut all my shifts down and was giving them to a guy who refused to wear a hair net even though his hair was at his shoulders and he would work on his car in the parking lot in his uniform then come back in and prepare food without washing his hands.I asked her multiple times for more shifts as I was having a child but she cut my shifts back further to 2 days a week...I finally got another full-time job through the week and I let Wendy's know that I would not be able to work past 10 at night through the week as i work at 5 am.When I went in to get my schedule the next week I was booked for 4 days of that week and all the shifts went to 11 pm and were scheduled all throughout the week.I mentioned it again that I could only work weekends if that was the times they needed me to work to and when I got my schedule the following week it was the same as the previous week.I called Anne Marie the next week and mentioned to her that if I did not have decrease in shifts or shift times I would have no choice but to put my 2 weeks notice in, she replied that I would have to talk to the other manager Joe about putting my notice.When i got my schedule for the next week there were only 3 days so I assumed they had done what I had requested which was to lower the amount of shift I had a week, i spoke to Joe and told him that I would not be putting notice in and that I would wait until my girlfriend who had now had our child went back to work.I called today and asked what my shifts were for this week and Anne Marie picked up and she told me that I quit so I was not scheduled...The weird thing is I never quit and I never put in my 2 weeks notice...how is it possible there aloud to do this?

i was at wendys ordering thru drive thru and i paid the cashier and she gave me my change and then she leaned out the drive thru window and spit then the casher walked up to the pick up window i was at. the pick up window where another lady was she replied enjoy your meal how when i was disgusted about the spit that is just nasty and rude i want to have a full refund of my meal plus mental and gas charges paid back i will never eat at a wendys or recommend to any one

Wendy’s wilded salad greens & old apple

I love the apple pecan salad w/grilled chicken. Well it has happened too many times that the mixed lettuce are wilted and apples are brown. Spoke to manager and reimbursed my money. However, I do not want a reimbursement but my salad. I explain to manager that wilted greens can make people very sick! Also, I have gone twice for coffee in the morning and waited way too long (10 min?) which I decided it was not worth. They are very slow in taking care of their customers. This Wendy's is located on Route #2 in Isabela, Puerto Rico 00662. The only good thing they have is the baked potato but not worth the wait! Please look into the this matter.

Wendy’s sanitation

On October, 7th, 2011 I was dining at Wendy's with my brother and cousin. After eating our meal I went into the bathroom to wash my hands. As I was doing that i noticed the manager using the urinal. The manager finished using the bathroom and just walked out. I was not able to specify this gentlemen, because i was so appalled by the action he committed. I mean, come on he's the manager he is the person who should not be making these things happen and making sure that the sanitation, food quality, and costumer service should be his first priority. I will never dine at this Wendy's again and I strongly recommend and encourage others to do the same.

Wendy’s unfair treatment

I was working toward management at Wendy's. The G.M. was always pushing me to work harder and faster even thought I was doing my best. Meanwhile everyone else slacked off. Over time I endured several complaints from other managers that seemed pety or something I had no control over. For instance, "we have ran out of salads on several accounts during the night, you need to make more salads." "That's not my fault I make my salads by the sales for last week day and you have plenty of lettuce to make more salads as needed, if needed."
I trained someone to do my job and in exchange I got a reduction in hours and was told they were moving me to nights. I had my kids in an after school program allowing me to work days. I told them I can't work nights and weekends til I get my raise so I can afford daycare. They told me they did not care. So much for flexible scheduling!
One day I made the mistake of calling to tell them I had to take my daughter to the doctors and I would be there as soon as I could. I didn't get done til about an hour before I was supposed to get off work and I still needed to get ready for work. Several managers were saying I should be fired. They told the store manager that I did this on several accounts of which they had no write ups because they never happened. I owned up to my mistakes, but I was told to watch my back. I thought It was time I quit, so I put in a 2 week notice and added during this time I can not work nights and weekends. They told me if I refused to work the closes I was fired.

This is unfair, unjust. As a grandmother who works full time and watches her two grandchildren while my daughter frequently closes, I understand. I do not work at Wendy's just feel the tremendous effects of watching my grandchildren all night, when I need to be up at 4:30 am for work. My daughter has been employed there 6 years and I am exhausted. Perhaps mistreatment of employees is why the Foster care program came about. Unfair empoyers can separate families and interestinly compensate by looking genorous with charitable foster care and adoption programs.

Wendy’s - personnel and manager

On 09/4/[protected]@ 11:30AM I order chicken nuggets (99cts) which bring five and told the the female serving me that the chicken nuggets were burnt and that I was requesting fresh chicken nuggets and not burnt chicken nuggets. The female employee became very upset and gave me a bad look and turn around and threw the same nuggets into the basket where they empty it...

Wendy’s food poisoning

So its Friday. August 26 2011 I stoped for a Quik side salad with Cesar dressing. I was stRving and on my way to the doctor for a consultation. Neways I got the salad of was a little brown on some parts but that doesn't bother me because I eat a lot of salads. Well not 40 minutes after I ate it I am sitting in with the doctor and I StEger getting nauseous after a few minutes of this I had to excuse myself and ran to the bathroom threw up how embarrassing but at least I was in the right place to be sick. Now right after this I felt fine the nausea subbsided and I am just at home resting. For one thing I have not thrown up in 11 years so this is strange for me. I will never eat a salad from a fast food place again.

Wendy’s too much ice in my soda

I went to wendys in nj and ordered my favorite burger combo and made it very clear i only wanted a little ice in my drink. Th elady nodded that she understood. When i got to my table ready to enjoy my meal i opened my cup and it was full of ice. I asked to have another one with less ice and they gave me another drink with a little less but still way more than i usaully like. totally ruined my lunch and made my whole day crap.

At the local Wendy's in my town if you ask for light ice, now they don't fill your drink all the way; they told me they aren't supposed to fill it all the way up if it's a premium beverage, which was an All Natural Lemonade, which was very watered down since they first came out with them. Ice is a customer choice, it should have nothing to do with how much liquid you get, your cup should be full! We are one of the only countries that puts so much ice in everything to begin with. It's really getting ridiculous how these restaurants are ripping people off.

I got a coke the other day at Wendy's In CT. . There was so much ice in it that I couldn't put my straw in the cup. I love there burgers but hate getting ripped off, so i quit Wendy's.

Wendy’s wendys served me raw meat sandwich for spicy chicken fillet sandwich

Wendys served me raw meat sandwich instead of the spicy fillet sandwich that I ordered. Feel so disgusted. Dont want this to happen to anyone.

I just recieved the same damned sandwhich half raw... i spoke with corporate here in arizona as well as the manage at the resturant and they confirmed that they receive it pre seasoned and frozen, but raw and it goes in the pressure cooker for approx 7 minutes to cook it.

i would believe it could be partically raw. mainly because they are one of those fast food places that use somewhat real meat.

Wendy’s manager rude

I had went inside to order my number 1 like I always do had went in 2 times that week and the register lady was supper nice but the manager was in the back by the drive thru window and he was walking back in fourth yelling come on talk to eachother and was yelling at the sandwich girl sayin come on your too slow your supposed to be done in 8seconds! That is so rude I told the register lady that manager is really rude and he had yelled at the register lady saying stop talking get tto work! While she was talking to me their was about 2 other people in line and I chatted with them and they totally agreed about him and I asked the register lady what was the manager name and his name is alex has long blonde hair and was wearing a blue shirt! That manager is just rude your employees should not get treated like that I love going to that wendys I would really appreciate that you either tell him something or relocate him because if I see him thier again and I hear him yelling at the employees again I will tell him something I never had a problen thier your employees are super nice and I just dont think they deserve that! I will stop going to that wendys if I continue hearing this

I just tried to transfer to another Wendy's but a different Corp. because it was a hire pay at their store. So I went thru the whole process again of filling out another application and doing the interview and I was guaranteed the position that means I'm hired, right? So he called my old store to get the "OKAY" which it was given to him. So we both agreed that I should put my 2 weeks in so it didn't look bad on me just to quit which I did give them a notice... I put my 2 weeks notice in so now the Assistant Manager Jordan is all of a sudden being rude to me again when we both squashed the last situation from her being disrespectful to me and I had to tell her abt herself but anyways so I come into work on Tuesday to finish out my last week and I seen another employee upset so I start talking to her to calm her down & now the Assistant Manager Jordan seen me doing this so she walks in between us as I'm talking to the young lady then come back over there once again so I told her "you can go passed us and please say excuse me next time"... So she tells me "that I can leave her store..." I'm like "for what I didn't disrespect you nor did I curse at you and I'm not leaving cause I didn't do anything wrong" So YES SHE CALLED THE POLICE ON ME... & YES I DID GET MAD WHEN SHE DID THAT BUT AS I'M LEAVING THE STORE SHE GETS IN MY FACE TALKING MESS AND YES I DID SNAP OUT BECAUSE FOR ONE I HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING IN THE FIRST PLACE AND NOW YOU ARE IN MY FACE? YES YES YES SHE WAS REALLY ASKING FOR A BUTT WHOOPING BUT I'M LIKE "JESUS TAKE THE WHEEL NOW LORD, BECAUSE SHE AIN'T EVEN REEEAAADY" SO I DID SNAP OUT A LITTLE BECAUSE I REALLY FELT DISRESPECTED BUT ANYWAYS I WENT OUTSIDE THE COPS CAME AND ACTUALLY HE WAS REALLY REALLY RESPECTFUL & I GAVE HIM 2 THUMBS UP FOR THAT, YES I DID... SO I FINALLY GOT AHOLD TO HIM TUESDAY AND HE TOLD ME TO COME IN THURSDAY AT 5 (WHICH IS TODAY 03/26/2015) I CAME IN AND HE WASN'T THERE FOR STARTERS SO THE ASSISTANT MANAGER CALLED HIM AND HE SAID HE FORGOT ABOUT ME. SO I AGREED TO GO HOME AND COME ON FRIDAY SO AS I'M LEAVING HERE GOES THE "DM" OF THAT WENDYS SO WE WERE INTRODUCED AND HE SAID DIDN'T YOU GET TERMINATED AT THE OTHER WENDY'S? I'M LIKE WHAT? Wendy’s dropped frosty sizes

Just spoke to a Wendy's Canada employee on the telephone after I submitted a complaint through their website. In Canada, they have dropped the sizes of the Frostys, yet kept the prices the same. Effectively, the bottom line is that this move by Wendy's is a price increase. I don't know if this has happened in the USA. The medium sized ones were 16 oz and now they are 12 oz. Same price of $1.89. I'll never buy Frostys again. A carton of ice cream from the grocery store will do. What a rip off!

Both of your comments show your intelligence levels... Very low. Personal attacks are childish and off topic to my original complaint. If you have nothing to add to the conversation, then go play elsewhere. In future, this website needs to moderate its members comments. Not well done Complaints Board. The bottom line is that Wendy's has been dishonest in not informing the public of the drop in product size while maintaining the same price points. That's terrible customer service in my book.

Wendy’s bad food

I usually come to this wendy's, but NEVER AGAIN! Every time i come here the food is just pathetic! i know arbys is joined by wendys somehow, because i work at arby's and if they have the same mission as arby's then i wanna know what the problem is... i had a rude black lady wait on me, she was huffing and puffing because i didnt know what i wanted. i came around 8:30 on thursday... my fries were very old and looked nasty, my spicy chicken nuggets were old and greasy tasting.. my chicken sandwich as good, but the quality of the food was a zero.. every time i come here my order is not right! im really starting to think of calling the food department on this place.. i understand they want qf3 but all i get is the fast out of the whole thing... if nothing is done i will make sure to call the health department... im tired of waisting my money on poor quality food... the economy is bad enough! i will make sure to tell all my friends about this place and tell my area supervisor. To top it all off i didnt even get a my recepit. so even if i wanted to get a refund i couldnt and get accused of lying, and trying to get free food! Choice better employees!

Wendy’s uncooked chicken

I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich at the drive thru on June 14, 2011 at approximately 8:05 pm. Luckily, I felt like I needed a bite of it before I took it home to eat it... The chicken was not cooked and it was still pink... I knew it tasted off as soon as I bit into it. Went back thru the drive thru and returned it for a salad. Did not get any apology at all. I will not be going to that Wendy's again!

Wendy’s less for your money

We have been a customer of wendy's for years. But we are through with ever buying anything again. It is all money in your pockets. The small $1.00 frosties were great and just enough. Today I went by wendy's and ordered a small chocolate frostie, the dollor chesse burger and a small fries. The girl gave me a chocolate frostie and I said what this. She that is our new cup for the dollor frosties. Cheap dudes! I shall never return to wendy's. Now it is a rip off. It is only worth $.50 now. People beware for those that don't know. I'll go to whitecastle something that is excellent. People wake up smell the roses. You are being screwed by wendy's cause they are getting rid of a loosing company 'arby's roast beef" the second worst. What you going to do about it, besides nothing?

Wendy’s food quality

I ordered a lunch from the wendys at 725 s. Newtown rd. Today. The hamburger was cold, the fries so laden with salt they were inedible, and it took 20 minutes of standing in line waiting. That's with only three people in line. This is the worst experience I've ever had at any wendys.

We are from Florence Alabama sitting here watching the new Asiago commercial, which looks great so we went that night and got our dinner at your restaurant .It was so hard crusted the edges you could not bite, the only way to find any meat was to tear the sandwich apart and pick out some chicken which was very little, was the most awful chicken sandwich I have ever ate. Plus on top of all of that my husband always gets a classic single he says it was cold and both our fries were cold was a awful experience and a waist of our money, this isn't the major complaint. While we were watching TV again your commercial came on about the Asiago sandwich, I was looking at it thinking my sandwich sure didn't look like that then all of a sudden there it was and I have watched several times to make sure I was seeing this right but there it was a HAIR in your sandwich on TV for the commercial. Needless to say I was disgusted for the bad sandwiches we received at the restaurant plus the hair in your commercial. I HATE TO PUT SOMETHING ON HERE LIKE THIS BUT I FEEL IT SHOULD BE ADDRESSED.

My husband is furious with the cost of a large Frosty. What happened to the sizes. You aren't getting much for what your paying. Whose idea was it to reduce the sizes anyway? That's why he liked Wendys Frosties. He felt he was getting what he was paying for. Well, guess what? He has no intention of going to Wendys anymore because he doesn't feel he's getting what he pays for. Too bad for Wendys. That was his favorite fast food place. Wendy’s bad place to work

Coworker took my glasses claim she did not know who's they were. I have had management yell at me in front of crew and customers I have to go to the bank all time to get one's and fives and had to go to other Wendy for things we did not have on my owe gas I was do my raise April 24 2011 it was not in my pay. The night crew did not do their closing work. I would open Monday have to close before opening I clean tables walls and bathrooms ect. Most of crew and some management would use curse words they used the f word all time they were ask to stop did not . I was their for two years !

Wendy’s over charged me

Ok so her is the issue, I was charged 2.98 for just two Double stack sandwiches only. I order just those items. Both Drive thru and indoor menu price was 99 cents! When I asked why it was not 2.10 the cashier said that's what the register price says so that's the price. So I got charged 88 cents more. Now it may seem lilttle but I have had issues with this Wendys before due to poorly cooked food and even this problem of being charged more than listed price w/ tax. I don't know who to address this issue to but I have seen Wendys business that are even close to the location of this Wendys business do a great job! They are doing a poor job and ruining Wendys name. Please someone come and talk to the owner of this one!

Wendy’s theft

I ate lunch at Wendy's and left my phone on the table, I was back at work when I realized that my phone was missing and I called my boyfriend to see if it was in his car, he looked and went back to Wendy's to check. He asked the cashiers if anyone had reported a phone missing, they looked him in the face and said no, but he could see another employee behind the counter playing with my phone! He had to walk to the area between the kitchen and the restrooms and confront the employee about it, proceed to call it from his phone and take it from him! Of all the things I have ever seen this is rediculous, if they are stealing from your customers you must know that they are stealing from the company. I will never eat at any Wendy's ever again.

As this sounds like it all happened rather quickly, the employee might have just found the phone and been trying to find your number to call you when your bf showed up? This situation has nothing to do with Wendy's

Wendy’s bad sandwich

Order a chicken club, got home and it had no bacon on it, I called the store and the manager said keep your receipt and she took my name, the next time you come in we will fix this for you. The next time I went there the manager said she couldnt do anything. So wrong. I have went to wendys website 3 times and explained my situation there and they say within 2 business days someone will contact you. Never heard a thing and its been 2 weeks since I started with this. If I pay for a sandwich with bacon, I want it to have bacon on it. Wendys customer service is totally unacceptable. So I guess my friends and myself wont go there again.

Wendy’s rude did not get order right

our family of six went out to eat at wendys restraunt i spent $30.00 first they were rude as they took my order, then they got our order wrong, and when we told them the order was wrong they took the tray and fixed it but they pushed the tray right into me after slamming the tray on the counter. I spend quite a bit from them but this really upset me.
