Wendy’s customer service

Hi, my name is Tiffany and I had one of the worst experiences at your Bartlett Wendys location in IL. Around 5pm, I stopped at the Wendys location in Bartlett off rt 59, I had just picked up my 3 yr old son and needed something quick for dinner. When I arrived, there was no one in the drive thru. I made a simple order of a Asiago chicken sandwich meal and 4 pc chicken kids meal. I pulled up, paid, and waited, until they asked me to pull around and they would bring my food out. So after waiting for about 20 min in the car with a 3 yr old, I get my son out of the car and walk in, where I notice not a single person is inside. I walk to the counter where I received several weird looks and finally a young man came and asked how I could be helped. I said I had been waiting for an order I put through the drive thru, where he walked over to the heat lamps and grabbed my bag. I asked him if they were just sitting out there, why had no one brought them out? He replied "well we didn't see your car, so we just put it to the side". So no one was prepared to bring out my food and the staff just seemed like they could of cared less about it. No one was prepared to bring the food out to me but literally waited until I went inside. On top of this ridiculous customer service, they also got the order wrong and I didn't receive a receipt either. Ridiculous!

Wendy’s service

My wife and I have bought a lot of salads before without blue cheese. Now for the last two times we were told that their salads were pre made with cheese on them. When questioned about that another person said they didn't think they had any lettuce and could not make our order. That sounds like they did not want to make our salads. We are very disappointed with this attitude

Wendy’s the service

So today I went into the local wendys on Dawson road (Albany, Ga) and my cars broke down so I walked with my newborn in her stroller and it started sprinkling And I ordered the 4 for 4 and of course I didn't think to check my bag and they forgot my fries and my nuggets. And this is the second time I've had this happen in a week. And I refuse to walk all the way back up there when it is there job have my order correct.

Wendy’s customer service

I purchased (2) Double Stack Burgers, (1) Crispy Chicken Burger, & (1) Baconator Fries. I was given (2) regular cheese burgers instead. When I came back to get what I paid for, the female working at night named Amanda (on receipt, #3374) told me on the intercom that they ran out of tomatoes. I said, "there wasn't any lettuce nor onions either on the burger". She went on to state that she charged me for cheese burgers in the first place. I told her that it wasn't what i asked her for initially. A guy in the background could be heard saying "I'll fix the right burger for him, i got it". So I pulled up to the window & she said "give me the burgers" in a frustrated & angry tone. I demanded a full refund due to her attitude & her being upset about an order she messed up. People like her don't need to be in fast food dealing with customers because she ultimately was the reason for me demanding a full refund. I was actually patient & ready to wait for the mistake to be corrected but it was something about her tone & attitude that rubbed me the wrong way. I'll probably give Wendy's another shot in the future, but no time soon. The cashier clearly needs customer service training or needs to be working in the back where she doesn't have to deal with customers directly.

On Tuesday 1/2/18 I went to wendys in Bridgeport, Mich.
When I pulled up to the speaker no one would answer, I honked my horn and didn't get a response so I drove to the window only to be ignored, three girls inside just looked at me and walked by so I honked my horn again then one girl came to the window talking on her cell phone and ask what I wanted.
By the time I got my order in I was going to be late to get back to work.
Very disappointed. I will never go back.

Wendy’s food service

I had placed an order for a spicy chicken sandwich, fries, baconator fries and taco salad. The chicken on the sandwich was excessively chewy and stale. It took them about 10 minutes to come to the window with the food which was cold. The fries were very soggy. The taco salad looked old some chunks of the lettuce had hard brown spots. The chili was cold since an employee said that it was turned off. Then they forgot to add the salsa that goes with the salad. So I threw $15 worth of food away for nothing. Also they did not give me a receipt after I requested it.

Wendy’s service/racist

My family and I got out of our truck in the parking lot and we were yelled at through the drive through window. "HEEEYYYY!" from an associate working there. (We don't know anyone there, nor do we frequent there). We found it very rude. I asked if they were open and she said "YES". The parking lot was empty, and there were no customers inside. This was around 8 p.m. on Saturday evening 8/4/2017. Chester, SC. The store was filthy, and we almost left but our autistic son was promised a spicy chicken sandwich. (his absolute favorite) We were not about to leave. There was trash on the floor, ketchup all over the counter where you get it from. The tables were glazed with grease and crumbs all over from crackers. The drink station had wrappers all over as well as covers popping out all over and a sticky mess on the counter and drink machine. We ordered and paid for it in one transaction, It was a debit card. When it came out, my husband was approached by a worker stating that the ice cream machine was not cold enough yet. He ordered a large chocolate frosty at the same time we ordered our meal.She said she would bring it to him when it was ready. As my sons and I were eating our food, merely a minute or two later a customer was passed two frostys. One was chocolate, and one was vanilla. I watched her make them thinking it was my husbands. I was appalled. We waited and another four frosty's were presented to customer through the drive through. My husband was astounded and went up to ask if his was ready, and she said" it would be 2.50" She was nowhere near the cash register to ring it up, and it was already paid for! My husband stated that he already paid for it. ( the item is 1.99 on our receipt. She rudely went to the ice cream machine and made his frosty (wrong flavor!) and brought it to him at the counter. He walked back to where we were eating and ate his ice cream quietly telling me what happened trying not to disturb the rest of the family. As we ate the rest of our meal, (we were looked at with glaring eyes, and snickers/remarks were made as they kept staring in our direction. These girls went to lunch break, I guess because they were eating and sitting). WE were the only white people there. All employees were black as well as all customers that were given their frosty's . They got there after us, and ordered after us!
On another note, the girl gave a young man a large cup, and the largest cup they have for a total of 1.61. We literally heard her tell the boy in a bright orange shirt about 9 or ten years old by himself that she wold give him one for free. He was black as well. LOOK AT THE CAMERAS!
Earlier during the week, at lunchtime we went to this same location to eat, and we noticed the service was excellent, and the food was really good. We noticed the manager working hard. He even came to ask about how our meal was. These are the two times I have been here all year, and how very different the experiences were. We are disgusted in their behavior, and will not spend another dime in this establishment. We spent nineteen dollars there and would like a refund. The host was Taijala. The time was 8:05 p.m. and the total was 19.82 order 10080. Please train the employees to give better customer service, whatever color/nationality/or disability you may be/have. Thank you.

Wendy’s poor customer service

Today, I went to the Wendy's Restaurant on E. Washington Avenue, Madison, WI - I ordered thru the drive thru - a small frosty - and they did not ask what flavor I wanted... they gave me chocolate and if asked I would have said vanilla. I ordered a chicken, apple and pecan salad and a dave's single burger. at the window I was handed my order and frosty. I drove and parked in the parking lot...opened my bag and saw that the burger was missing. So I walked into the restaurant with my receipt and said that I did not get the burger, so I waited for them to make me one. Then I went back to my car and ate the burger, then I went to eat my salad and saw that it was a spicy Ceasar salad and not the chicken, apple and pecan salad, so again I walked into the restaurant and told them that they had given me the wrong salad...so again, I had to wait for them to get me the correct salad. I also asked for my receipt back that they took when I came in the first time, and they said that they had thrown it away. Never did they show any remorse, or sadness for the mistakes that they had made on my order, no one apologized for the inconvenience that this caused me... and not once but twice. They did not offer me a coupon, or some money back or nothing. I never felt that they appreciated my business, instead I felt like I was a bother. And they really were not busy... so I really don't know what their reason was for screwing up my order so badly... I certainly will not be going to that Wendy's restaurant again. I will take my business where I am appreciated and my order is important to them, and they will take the time to be sure that I get what I ordered...I would appreciate some compensation for my time and bother to get what I ordered and did not...

Wendy’s poorest quality service of all fast food chains

My past 4 visits to this Wendy's have been UNACCEPTABLE. First visit, I spent 15 minutes in drive thru just to get a premade salad. There were two cars ahead of me the entire 15 minutes. I was not offered an apology for the unusually long wait. Second visit, I was charged for someone else's meal, the cashier did not know how to void charge, and disappeared with my debit card for 12 minutes, while I was stuck at the drive thru wondering what was going on and where the cashier went with my bank card. Third visit, my daughter found a plastic twisty tie from the bun bag in a bite of her chicken mozzarella sandwich! Thank God she didn't swallow it or break a tooth! My fourth and final visit at this restaurant, I was at least 10 minutes down the road (bringing my girls our weekly take out Tuesday meal) before I realized the employee had charged me for the three entrees I ordered, but only put two in the bag. I wasted 20 minutes of driving and when I asked to speak to the manager, all the employees gathered around to hear my complaint...talk about feeling ganged up on. The shift manager nonchalantly offered to get me the item I'd paid for but not been given. He did not apologize for wasting my time because of their mistake or offer to get me hot fries to replace the ones that had gotten cold due to their mistake; although he did mumble a half hearted "sorry about that" as I drove off. He quickly passed the buck and said I could call the store tomorrow and speak with Ieesha (the store manager) when I calmly mentioned the hard plastic twisty tie in my daughter's sandwich at the last visit. All four of my visits were during the evening shift; these employees just don't care and have 0 accountability or pride in their work. It is very sad, because their food is great. However, the lack of customer service just doesn't compare!

Wendy’s workers in moody alabama

I saw a McDonald's worker working last night behinde the counter and I wasn't happy because she had an attitude towards me and the manger has black long hair ! I don't know why she was even back there but I will not come back to Wendys in moody because you all can't seem to care about the customers ! This all happens last night around 10 o'clock at night !

I went to Wendy's at 10:20 on 08/04/17 to get my son chicken nuggets and my husband a vanilla frosty. The girl working the drive through was so rude! She gave me a chocolate frosty at first. She shut the window very fast so it took a while for me to get her attention again to let her know she gave me the incorrect frosty flavor. When I told her she rolled her eyes nabbed the frosty out of my hand slammed the window shut and proceeded to get my vanilla frosty. She brought it bk to me I said thank you and she slammed the window shut once again and turned her bk on me. I had to sit and wait on my nuggets and that was no big deal she basically threw them in my car and slammed the window shut again. I called and asked to speak with the manager I told him I think he needed to let the girl that was working the drive through work a different spot bc she was very rude. The manager proceeded to laugh at me and said she was new and they were short staff they were doing the best they could. I told him I understood all of that but me as a customer she be treated with respect and he laughed at me again. I just hung up knowing I was getting through to him. I just want to ask why would you guys have a manager that treat customers in this manner? No wonder his employee acted in that manner with him as leader. I really think you guys need to teach this store to treat people with respect! The store is located in Mcpherson Kansas. Please help them there they need it!

Wendy’s the visit and food

I ordered two 4 for $4 deals and a 4 piece nugget and baked potatoe on the side. and the crispy chicken sandwich for the one was made wrong. Then all the fries and and nuggets were dry and taste nasty like they been sitting there for hours. To top it off we couldnt get our own drinks cause the soda machine in the lobby wasn't working. The cashier seem like she didn't want to be there. Her attitude was not cashier likely. I was very disappointed by my visit to Wendy's today.

Wendy’s cold food, etc.

My husband and I went to Wendy's in Pataskala, Ohio on 8/2/17 at 3:00 PM. We went through the drive through and ordered 2 - Number 1's and ask for ketchup and salt. We parked in the parking lot and opened the sandwiches right away. Both sandwiches were cold and she only gave up 2 small packs of ketchup and salt. That is one each, which isn't enough for half the fries. They were soggy instead of crispy. Very disappointing since the Wendy's in Newark, Ohio is always very good.

Wendy’s customer service

I was previously at your Wendy's location #[protected] and my host, Carl was extremely rude. First of all he rushed me with my order. Secondly, when arrived at the window, somehow my card and my friends card declined and he proceeded to ask, how do you come through a drive through without money. My friend wanted him to take a certain amount via cash then the rest from her card. Then when I asked him to run my card again because I know I have money on it, he proceeded to say, "You just transferred money into your account." He then held my card by his two fingers as if he was discussed with it. Once we asked to see a manager he told us he didn't need his manager, he got this. So I didn't want to eat my food right then but once I got home to eat, I then realized that he had given me the wrong food. I didn't take it back because I stayed too far from the location but I am disgusted with the service I received on yesterday.

Wendy’s coke from freestyle machine

I was at the Wendy's located at 1568 Holcomb Bridge Roswell GA .
As I was leaving I got a refill from the Free Style machine and the first swallow from the straw something hit the roof of my mouth. I did not swallow it but was disturbed to find a metal shaving. Hopefully there were not other shavings in the cup that I swallowed while eating my meal.

Wendy’s inside looks a mess

I went to the Wendy's on Garner 42 at 3:30pm on 7/31/2017. It was so nasty by the fryer station. It was fries on the floor everywhere by the fryer station all under the station. It looked very greasy and not clean. I understand lunch hours can be crazy. It was not busy when I went in there. I didn't even order it looked a mess. I walked in and out thank God I didn't go through the drive thru I would have never known how unclean it was.

Wendy’s very ignorant workers

I went to the Wendy's in buffalo ny on elmwood ave and ordered my food like normal. When I pulled up to the second window there were about 2/3 girls huddled by the window and another got called over and she proceeded to poke her whole head out the window just to look at me. Then I overheard them talking about my eyebrows or whatever else and another girl yelled y'all better close that window. Now I don't care that they were talking about me because hey clearly I must of sparked their interest that much for them to huddle around and talk all the [censor] they were talking. But it's just rude to talk about the customers when your window is wide open and I'm literally right there. If they would of poked their heads out and said it to me that would of been cool but no. I just laughed it off because I have other things to do today. Just an FYI

Wendy’s refused to serve food

I pulled up in line at 11:45, sat in line for 15 minutes not moving at all. This whole time I was thinking well surely they know I'm in line so I'll still be able to order my food like every other fast food restaurant. Come 12:00 the lights go off as I'm sitting behind the vehicle ordering.(I'm literally the very last vehicle in line) and I get up to the window and they say we're closed. I told them repeatedly that I was in line for 15 minutes they said they never seen my truck because they obviously just wanted to leave. So I take it upon myself to go up to the window while the truck in front of me is recieving their food and asked the people in the truck how long I had been there and they told them i pulled in right behind them. Still they didn't offer nothing, I watched the woman throw Goodin the trash and turn the grill off right in front of me and keep in mind I was THE LAST VEHICLE IN LINE! The woman proceeds to tell me that I don't know what I'm talking about and tells me to leave. This Wendy's is in middlesboro kentucky 40965. I'd really appreciate this being taken care of because I have ate there for 20 years and I've never had bad experiences there until recently. This is not the only incident but it has just taken me over the top. I don't want the fear of people spitting in my food because of the simple fact I was hungry and chose to "try" and eat Wendy's. To beat it all I was very nice and respectful and even asked please through the speaker. ( which she decided to ignore me while I was talking) which is why I want to the window.

Wendy's Greenville texas on july 29 2017. About 5:30 pm. Worst place I've ever been. Waited in the drive-through almost 5 minutes without a response I said hello hello finally somebody said we are very shorthanded wait a minute. There was one car in the drive-through one car in the parking lot so I waited a few more minutes. I go inside there's one customer and I can see five people behind the counter. No one say anything I finally tell them what I want they bring the wrong thing and then look at me like I am crazy. They bring the correct item. No thank you no smile no come again. They look very happy to be working with about [protected] flies. Very sticky and dirty counter. Ok I am done. The windows and doors appeared to have never been cleaned. Food all over the floor.

Took my family to the Wendy's near 50th and L in Omaha, Nebraska about an hour ago. We were the only car in the drive through when we arrived. The first issue, which is really no big deal, was that the person taking my order did not seem to be able to hear me. We all had to yell repeatedly. When we Finally got our order through correctly, we made to pull up to the window. However, the younger girl at the window was leaning out to talk to a car full of what I assume to be her friends in the parking lot. We had to wait until she found a good stopping point in the conversation to pull forward. Arrived at the window and several minutes later were offered our drinks. I asked of we could have a drink carrier and the young man looked as though this was a huge inconvenience for him. Around five minutes later he came back to the window to let us know that one of the spicy chicken sandwhiches that we ordered wouldn't be ready for another 6 minutes and asked if we wanted to wait or switch it for something else. At this point I was a little irked, but I'm fairly easy going and responded that we didn't mind waiting-twice, because he asked me what I wanted to switch it out for after the first time I said we didn't mind waiting. We pulled into a parking spot to wait. It took around 10 minutes before we saw this third young man come out of Wendy's with our order and head towards our car. Before he made it to us, though, he stopped to talk with the people in the car mentioned earlier. I rolled down my passenger window to get his attention and he finally came over. The order was wrong. We returned the items that we did not order and left, pretty exasperated at this point. Before leaving the parking lot, my mom ate a french fry from the bag and said it was cold. I also tried one and they were indeed very cold. The sandwhiches were covered in sauce to the point that they would not stay together (the top buns kept slipping off). This was by far the worst experience as a customer I have ever had. Not only were the staff incompetent and inattentive to their customers, the manager inside made no move to correct their behavior. What we ultimately received for our money was also of very poor quality. I will be advising those I know to avoid this location, if not the whole chain altogether. I believe someone needs to stop in and look over operations at this location and make some changes.
