We don't know much about how Wendy’s handles customer complaints outside ComplaintsBoard, but what we see here, on our website, is quite disappointing. We think there might be reasons for the company's actions (like not knowing about the complaints), and we would be happy to see them among customer-focused businesses that easily solve customer problems. Wendy’s wendy's 2360 legrande rd, columbia sc 29223. large bowl of chili had insect in it and manager behavior was unprofessional.

On the evening of July 9, 2017, I purchased a Son of Baconator meal and a large bowl of chili. As I was consuming chili I observed it had flies in the mixture. I immediately called Wendy's. I expressed my concerns, in returned the manager told me to return the chili. I said I will return it tomorrow. On the July 10, 2017 I returned the chili, the manager on duty got mad at me and attempted to refund the amount of the chili only. However I felt the entire meal needed to be refunded to me. At that point, she went to back with the chili to inspect it. Than she immediately returned and refunded the entire 12.00$. Since than, I've had 3 episodes of diarrhea. I've reported this to DHS. So, here is my concerns: I am retired Army Soldier and I will not cheat Wendy's or anyone. However the manager treated me like a thief and that was not costumer friendly. If the manager did show me no regard as a costumer we would not me here.

Wendy’s pop machine not properly cleaned, pop taste moldy and mildew

The one Wendy's in my town seems to be always out of coke a lot during the week. So today 7-10-17 at 3:30 pm < i went inside to eat and bought a medium pop with my meal, selected Coke and it was out. So I switched to sprite and when I tasted it, It had a real bad flavor, like mold and mildew! I ask the counter employee about how often it gets cleaned and it was reported that it's cleaned in the mornings. I really don't believe its being done. Not happy! They need to switch back to the individual pop selection machine, instead of the all in one type. Thanks

Wendy’s customer service and your drive thru employee

I came to the wendys on university and powers at 11:05pm as I had a family outing that I was trying to feed my family before heading to bed for a early work day. As I drive up to speaker guy ask if I would want to try a 4 for 4 and I said no thankyou hold on please. Then he said are you ready I said no hold on and when im ready I will let you know... Then I replied thankyou. He had his headset still on where I could hear him and he bluntly said "oh my [censor]ing god" excuse me did I just hear that and my kids are in the car!? This was unprofessional and all my kids wanted was your company. With this customer service I am completely unsatisfied and shocked you all hire and have people like this working for your company! Need to change out crew just rude!

Wendy’s the service

Everytime I go to Wendy's after 10 they love telling me they are out of lemonade and can't make me one. When really I believe the manager is just lazy and will not make it. Considering that Wendy's stays open till 1am you would think they would still have a drink available. Secondly when I go and the manager is fixing my food and I always ask for honey mustered sauce he never gives it to me. He either gives me no sauce or BBQ... most of the times it's no sauce at all.

Wendy’s not getting the right food in my order

Ordered the triple cheese burger large meal. Got down the road and saw that I got a large fry and a single cheese burger. The price difference between the two isn't something that I can just let go. I would just like to have my order made right for me. I understand mistakes happen but a little more close attention could easily prevent this from happening.

Wendy’s strawberries & spoon

I ordered a strawberry mango salad from the Wendy's in New Lenox at the drive thru window. When I got home to eat it, I noticed the strawberries had bad spots & were not edible. It was not just one strawberry it was all of the cut up pieces of strawberries. See photo enclosed. Also, I ordered a small chocolate frosty & the spoon was malformed. It had sharp edges and clearly could not be used. I'm not sure why it was handed to me out the drive thru window.

Wendy’s food

I received food from the Wendy's Saraland location 803 Saraland blvd S. I ordered nuggets and fries. My complaint is because it was around 9:30 when I went. I just got off and I was eating it in my car then I felt some hair in my mouth. I was thinking okay maybe it could be mine and I cut on the light. It was a long black piece of hair. My hair is short red and curly. I am beyond disgusted by this. Do people honestly and truly not wear hair nets or even CHECK the food before they give it out. This was a big disappointment and I don't see myself eating here any time soon.

Wendy’s insulted by a worker and manager did nothing

Went back to correct my order that's was told to have allergies to mayo, yet still recived mayo on the sandwich, Asked to speak to a manager. manager came out to correct order. While explaining the situation worker stood aside and told us it "it happen all the time when we're busy." When I told the worker to let the manager handle the situation we where told "[censor] you" along with plenty of other cure words that where not very pleasant. Management did nothing to de-escalate the situation and just let the worker insult me. I asked to have the GM's contact information and when they would be best reach. To recive a fake contact and no hr of exact availability. Have never been more insulted or disrespected.

Wendy’s unprofessional service at 5th avenue location in columbus, oh 43201 united states

After work today I went into Wendy's for dinner. I was the only one in the lobby. A woman came and took my order and was nice and professional. However, a young man making food was not. The first issue was when I walked into Wendy's a group of men INSIDE the building were smoking weed. And no manager was in sight! No worker said anything. What's worse is the man that is supposed to be making my food said he wanted to "hit" that. He LEFT his post and went to smoke weeks inside the building in front of customers (me). No one working said anything. I did not get their names because they were not wearing tags, but I'm appalled at how unprofessional this man was and how unprofessional the staff was to ignore it. The best one woman did was tell the man to quit smoking that and then she proceeded later to yell ignorantly in the lobby, cussing and interacting with customers (who I believe she gave free drinks too, the men smoking weed) like she was there with friends. Absolutely the worst experience I ever had at a restaurant, disgusting and unclean, and unsafe. I feel whoever was manager or is in charge of this location should be immediately replaced as well as the two workers.

Wendy’s customer service

3 times now In the south Daytona Florida Wendy's they have gypped me on chicken nuggets finally tonight I went back nicely said they only gave me 7 instead of 10 and then the cook or someone came over to the window yelling at me from inside basically saying I was lying even when I gave the bag back and tried to explain about the other times they again kept yelling that I was lying! Absolute awful service

That's pretty funny cause who in there right mind would do that I gave the seven back so what would be the point... the complaint was the rudeness not giving the wrong amount I could careless but I paid to get the right amount not less if I wanted less I would of paid for less

Wendy’s fresh mozzarella salad

I went in and ordered a fresh mozzarella full-size salad. I received it after about 5 minutes of wait time only to see that all of the lettuce was brown and it did not have any mozzarella cheese. I returned it and ask for a fresh salad with fresh lettuce and mozzarella cheese on this one. I waited for almost an hour. At around 9:10 PM the gentleman taking the orders, Austin, said to me that I should just asked for my money back. So he got the manager and they refunded me and we left at 9:20 PM. This is ridiculous!

Wendy’s I was in the drive through and saw a worker with her feet up on the table!

I was in the broomall location Wendy's drive through and saw a worker with her feet up on the table! I think this is unsanitary and unprofessional. This needs to be addressed! Kids and families eat on there! I took a picture.also let me remind you that this was in a window for everyone to see! Until I hear back I will not be dining there and will be telling friends not to dine there for this reason!

Wendy’s im reporting my manager for cruel treatment on my day off 'yanked a sandwich from my hand'

Hi I'm Steven Dean filing a complaint around june 25 because one of my managers had a issue with me on my day off and fired me! My manager at the wendys in lake of the Ozarks named Ben was working in the back my brother Christopher got his free meal for the day knowing i hadn't eaten that day and offered his free meal to me! So my manager had never said anything about giving our free meals to eachother before but this day he was really irate for no reason and instead decided to walk out and say ''Is that your sandwich'' i replied back calmly No! Ben decided to yank the sandwhich from my hand in front of other customers and say your not allowed to have this as he was walking away he said something really rude and at that moment i was mad so i was rude back! This was not the first incident of this type of behavior my brother was in a car accident in the state of California and i had to call in to let them know it might be a day longer on the trip! Instead of ben saying ok or confirming hung the phone up on me after being rude! I got tired of abuse from the manager and hope this gets looked into everyone is a person there and i would love to work for the company again.

Wendy’s horrible services!

I want to Wendy's on University Ave. tonight July 1, 2017 around 10:40Pm. I ordered 5 of the Chicken sandwiches for 99 cents and 5 of the cheese burgers no onions for 99 cents my total was $10.69. I had to wait in a line before I finally got to the second window I gave Mrs. Tasha $20.69 for my order. When I finally got my food I only had 8 sandwiches instead of the 10 I ordered. They insisted that I had 10 until I proved them wrong by taken the all out the bag and Tasha said hand me your bags so I can see what is missing. I never got my order right again I didn't notice until I got home. Yup twice messing up my order😡! On top of that never got NO RECEIPT! When I got home I had 6 cheeseburgers and 4 Chicken sandwiches. If that's not bad I had ONIONS on all the Cheeseburgers which I said I didn't want nor did I order them I said NO ONIONS! I called the store and the manager argued that she gave me 5 and 5 but it was not! They did say I could go back to pick up the 5 cheeseburgers tonight, but I have a 4 year old and a 3 year old. No way I was bringing them back out in the night air! This is every time I go to Wendy's on University Ave. (Wardline Road) that they mess up my order. Something needs to give! After tonight I don't think I'll be spending anymore of my money at Wendy's! If you would like more information please feel free to contact me! Wendy’s customer service

On July 1, 2017 I went to Wendy's on Cerrillos Rd in Santa Fe, NM with my son and daughter. I ordered a chiller fruitea with strawberry passion fruit. The woman with a black eye was behind the counter. She gave me a lemonade. I told her I wanted the tea not lemonade. She said I had to have lemonade because that was how the drink was made. I pointed out the menu and how the drink was made with green tea. She shoved a cup with flavoring across the counter and told me to go make it with the unsweetened tea then. She was very rude. I told my son about the encounter, he took the drink back along with the flyer from the tray that advertised the tea drink to her. She told him I was senile, unruly and didn't know what I wanted because there was no such drink. I am 56, not senile and walk with a cane due to a dissability. I'm not prone to arguing with someone bigger than me either. He pointed out the menu and the flyer but she continued to diparage my character. It wasn't until a manager came over to see what the problem was that she reluctantly made the drink with instructions from my son. I would have let this go but she was very rude and hostile to all the customers that came in. I probably won't go back to this Wendy's but I will go to the one on Sawmill Rd because they are much nicer and they listen.

Wendy’s reward for completing online survey

At the west exit in Fernley Nevada, there is a Wendy's, Dairy Queen inside a truck stop chain. The store has signs advertising a "free 'Dilly' bar if you complete the Wendy's on-line survey. Good luck getting the free bar from Either DQ or Wendy's. It's the same stock answer customers receive when a shared 7-11/Carl's Jr store regarding rotten, foul restrooms. Complain to the 7-11 manager about the filth and it's Carl's Jr.'s responsibility, then complain to Carl's and it's 7-11's responsibility. Same with the "free 'Dilly' bar at this Wendy's, neither is responsible for the free offer. So FYI, this is the Wendy's on I-80 in Fernley NV. If you try to get the cheap reward, forget it because neither store honors the offer.

Wendy’s food customer service and spoiled tea

I arrived at the wendys in coppell on 112 denton tap @ around 12 am as i pulled up there was a truck delivery in the middle of the drive thru i waited about five minutes before my order was taken as i ordered my spoiled sweet tea the young lady at rhe drive thru claimed she couldnt hear my drink order as i spoke louder she insisted i pulled to the window mind you that there was a line by the rime made it to the window i expressed my concerns on the truck and how i had to wait with the manager standing there no response from him as he handed my food out the window the young lady said wait your drink as she handed the drink i tryed to get the attention of someone so i could get bbq sauce as the toung lady had her back turned the manager finally ask what i wanted i requested bbq sauce as i drove away i inserted my straw in to my sweet tea and to a big ol drink as it is still over 80 degrees at midnight as i looked in the bag for a receipt to
find the was not one given to me i proceeded to go home and look up the number i called and spoke with the manager and asked about the spoiled tea that was made a little before 3 pm on june 30 he didnt offer any thing nor apologize so i asked for the gm number then i was told he wold be in later on july 1 when i asked a time that was good he kinda blew me off so i went on to asking about a time and he said well i guess and end of conversation very very unsatisfactory customer service especially a member of management as well as not giving a copy of my receipt how do i know they didnt charge me for more then what i order beings that the manager was very rude and short

Wendy’s food

The customer service was not at all polite the female worker was extremely rude and our food was not what we asked for our baconator had a patty and lettuce that is all. I am not writing this complaint for anything in return I am writing it to being to your attention the service and quality from our experience at Wendy's. I wish I would've looked at the name of the worker but I was too distracted by the attitude. Thank you for taking the time to read.

Wendy’s poor food quality and property cleanliness

On 6/30/2017 at 11:07 am, we pulled into Wendy's Restaurant # [protected] Located at: 10 W Merritt Island Cswy Merritt Island, Fl [protected].
We decided to dine in.

1st - We were told to wait just a minute. No greeting what so ever. There should have been at least a "Welcome to Wendy's, what can we make for you today?" Nothing except "what do you want".
Poor and below expectations.

2nd - There was no upsale of any product. Wow LOST REVENUE.
Poor and below expectations.

3rd - Upon recvg our order there was no "Thanks have a great day", or "Thanks for choosing Wendy's".
Again, poor and below expectations.

4th - The ketchup dispensers were empty. Not because they had been used up, but no ketchup bags in the dispensers to begin with. Poor and below expectations

5th - Now here comes the really gross parts - the floor which is half carpet and half floor tile, is completely worn out, smells bad, and when you walk on it, it squishes and then your shoes stick to it. This has to be an OSHA violation as well as Health Dept violation. So DISGUSTING.

6TH - My son opens up his sandwich wrapper only to discover MOLD, YES I SAID MOLD, growing on the bottom of the bread. When I took the sandwich back up the counter and showed Karen, "Eww Yuck". She showed to the manager who promptly said to refund my money. Money for the sandwich only was refunded, $5.26 to be exact. They didn't even offer to give us a free sandwich I had to ask for it.

6th - While I was waiting, there were no orders from the manager to look at and throw away any bread that was moldy. They just kept using the same bag of buns. I am Shaking My Head. The downward fall.

While we quickly finished our meal, I took a moment to reflect.

You see, I am a Wendy's girl from the seventies. I grand opened two stores along with many other employees, one in Merritt Island and one in Cocoa Florida. I would come in very early in the morning along with the other openers and begin preparing: chili, tomatoes, onions, pickles, set up the sandwich stations, get the fryers started, get the frosty machines started, etc... then once we were open for the day, I worked the drive thru.. Yep. That was my voice on the speaker and that was me accepting cash pymts and that was me filling their orders.

So, here's the thing,

1st - The sloppy/no greetings would NEVER have been allowed, period.

2nd - The filth would never have happened either. Everything would have been repaired or replaced very quickly.

3rd - There was always a finishing statement.

4th - We were always cleaning..something, anything, everything.

5th - Stock was always rotated. Oldest dated stuff was always in the front and got used first.

6th - Bread was refrigerated until needed to prevent mold. One tall rack of bread was brought in early in the morning and one rack at a time was put in the bread warmers, bread warmers would be filled by the griller or sandwich maker many times during the day as needed.

7th - Floors and tables were wiped down every 15 minutes or so. Every table in that place today looked as if it hadn't seen a hot soapy washcloth in a very long time.

I could go on and on, but I think by now you get the picture. What we experienced and saw today is disgraceful and disrespectful to Dave Thomas and everything he wanted for his customers.

I will not go back.

Wendy’s customer service

On 6/30/2017 at 1:00 I waited at the drive thru for nearly 15 minutes with only 3 cars also waiting. When I finally pulled up I was asked to wait. Nobody took my order. I drove off frustrated. It was during my lunch and considering I don't have much time for lunch I had to go without eating. This happened at the Ashtabula, Oh location on Prospect. I prefer Wendy's much more than McDonald's but McDonal's customer service has gotten much better. If Ashtabula had a Chic-file this would be a no brainer. Horrible service, thank your staff for allowing me to go hungry through the rest of the work day.
