Wells Fargo lack of tellers

I live on st pete beach, fl and I use the local spb bank. But every time I go in there I just stand in line waiting and waiting. The reason i'm waiting is because they only have one teller working. They have greeters, advisors, managers, drive in window tellers, but at the front they have one so we just stand in line and wait. I stood in line today for 10 minutes out of my 30 minute lunch hour. There was no indication that the one teller working with the same customer was going to be finished any time soon. So I walked out. Then I had to go to another wells fargo bank in pasadena and again, I wait in line for one teller! What is going on? I don't feel like going to my bank should be this stressful. If wells fargo doesn't have enough money to hire adequate tellers then they shouldn't be in business at all. I tell you this, not because I actually think something good will come out of it, i'm writing to tell you why i'm closing my account and opening with a bank that actually cares about the customer experience. I would think wells fargo has had enough bad press and would be trying very hard to make their customers happy. Here is one customer that is decidedly not happy.

Wells Fargo home mortgage/late payment

I am a 48 year old home mortgage client who up until a 30 day late payment notification from Wells Fargo had near perfect credit. My credit score was 811. It dropped to 696... yes that's correct. I have never been late on any credit payment almost 30 year consumer history.
My husband and I were in the middle of moving from AZ to CT and although I had requested that our mailing address be changed, and Wells Fargo claimed it had been, we were not receiving our monthly mortgage statement.in the midst of the chaos of moving, we did not realize this was the case. Literally every other utility co. and creditors managed to get our statements mailed to our CT address. FYI - I have not received a hard copy Wells statement since January. Long story short, when we were late on our February payment (I believe it was Feb) none of your fail safes occurred - no phone calls, no email notifications, etc. I just happened to realize that I had not paid our February (I believe) payment while paying other bills.
I called Wells in a panic, immediately paid the February (I believe) amount (34 days late at this point) and paid March. I again asked to get our statements mailed to our CT address, asked why we didn't get a phone call or email or anything letting us know we were past due. I was told we should have and NO one can explain to me why we did not.
I asked for an assurance that this would not affect our credit report - no assurance could be given. You, Wells Fargo, had already issued a negative credit "whatever". I began the dispute process within Wells Fargo. It was exhausting and beyond offensive.
My credit score and my husbands tanked.in the meantime, during the dispute an improved credit notification showed up and our scores recovered. We thought we were done.
Unfortunately, I checked my credit score this morning and it had dropped down again to 726. We did not realize that you had not actually removed the negative "mark" (or whatever it is called). Our score had improved while the issues was being disputed. I spoke with [removed] (spell?) several times throughout the dispute process. She was of no help and basically just dragged the entire process out. When I told her that Wells refusal to remove the negative credit "mark" was unacceptable and that I wanted to escalate the issue, she told me that her supervisor was going to contact me within 48 hours. That never happened. However, it was at this time that our score improved, so I thought it had been taken care of and did not follow up with [removed] again. I was wrong and after spending 30 minutes of the phone with Transunion now understand the repaired score was temporary.
Please have someone pull up my file. I am disgusted that I am still spending time on this and will file a formal complaint with whatever consumer protections groups I need to... Unbelievable that you treat really good customers like this... Take a look at our credit histories. The fact that wells takes no responsibility is this situation, knowing the circumstances is just disgusting.

Wells Fargo branch employees

Recently closed out of a huge banking enterprise, had a checking account, decided to open a credit account with Wells Fargo, that is when all hell broke loose. This particular banking location has changed banks (at least names) 7 times in the 37 years where I have resided. Over the last 10 years or so with this bank, with a checking account, no real issues but with a credit card, mega issues. My issues arose with the customer service representatives. Have to believe these people are paid minimum wage and you pretty much get what you pay for. These individuals are not well trained and read from scripts. Anything complicated goes right over their heads. Try to talk to managers or supervisors but get attitudes from people lower on the ladder. They, in my opinion, just want to know how much money you have and may even show up at your front door to rob you. These huge bank's employees are scum, sleazy and extremely unprofessional. I have closed out of another huge bank where I had credit cards. I wrote to the complaint department and the reply I received was unacceptable. If these underpaid, young little whippersnappers don't shape up the businesses they work for are going to go right down the toilet! Customers are what made their banks so large and if customer service is terrible, these banks are going to loose customers, their backbone. For me, it is a process of elimination to find a bank that has a good reputation and one I would want to do business with, pretty much like finding a good man. What happened to good old fashioned pride, and integrity on the job, I ask? Do I have to mention the manager greeted customers with his fly down on his pants!

Wells Fargo mortgage

This is the 2nd time that ASC and wells fargo have tried to Forclose on my property. They have reported that payments were not made when ASC received the payments and Wells Fargo changed my account number and have reported that payments have not bee n made since Mar 2017. I have records of payments made and received by ASC up till December of 2017. Wells Fargo claims no payments and I have proof of payment. Wells Fargo stopped payment on my January 2018 payment, and I have made no payments since January. I am Due 5 payments before the 15th witch is $8830.00. They are claiming I owe them $23744.00. I also have paid $1800-1950 each month when my payment is $1768. I have never received credit for this amount either. I have had a mortgage with them since 2006 and in 2013/2014 they took $8900.00 in payments from me, I paid the $26, 000 in addition to this and was never returned my money. This was all due to trying to refinance through them and was told to hold off on payment for 90 days and then apply. This has been a complete catastrophy and I am not going to stand for it again. I am filing a class lawsuit against both companies and Trust God They will pay me for my hardship this time.

I deal with multimillion dollar construction of Custom Homes and Buiness buildings, Office Consruction. Wendy Medina the Personal Banker there was Rude, and too Busy for my multimillion dollar account. Wells Fargo complaint on wells fargo

We moved into our house in 2010 while my wife was working full time. I currently work part time. We were doing well financially. My wife lost her job in August of 2014. Around that time, Wells Fargo raised our mortgage payment to 1309.00 per month. They put us on a forbearance plan and they were letting us pay 600.00 a month. That left 709.00 per month adding up over 3 years. Now, we are 23, 000 indebted to Wells Fargo. We want Wells Fargo to take the 23, 000 off. We have talked to them about refinancing our loan but they refused. If they refinanced the loan to 600.00 per month we would have no problems paying the mortgage. We don't want to lose our house. We have nowhere to go. Please help us we are in desperate need. We have a 15 year old son who is very upset as our we. Please help us save our home. Thank you. Loan number [protected].

Wells Fargo received counterfeit money from wells fargo

On 5/30/18 i withdrew $1860.00 out of my account at wells fargo, left the bank and went directly to another bank to deposit. When i was informed that one of the bills was counterfeit. That bank took the counterfeit bill wrote up a report, and told me to take it up my bank. I did and was basically told i should have noticed it. It is sad and pitiful that a bank treats their customers as thieves.

This info is NOT true for Wells Fargo...they passed off a counterfeit $100 bill on August 6, 2018; New Port Richey, FL. Pitiful that they didn't scan the money properly, or maybe someone who works there..."According Secret Service, banks worldwide have equipment that will catch counterfeit, so that it will not continue to percolate through the economic system. Because the fakes will be destroyed at the bank, the public’s trust in the country’s banking system should remain intact (there is no reason to fear that the bank will give out counterfeit money, or otherwise keep it in circulation).

Wells Fargo business checking account bob ross motors...3618

It is Saturday April 28 2018. I just deposited a cashiers check from a local Credit Union for $13, 465 at the Wells Fargo on Prince Rd in Tucson AZ. Branch #0006074 2. The deposit went into my Business account. The deposit slip indicated that $5000 of that total would be available on Tuesday 5/1 and the remainder would not be available until 5/9? An explaination at the bottom of the deposit slip indicated that "checks deposited today exceed $5000". My immediate thought was that I am doing business with the wrong bank. Do you really expect a small business to allow you to do this? I am a small car dealer and in the last 30+days I have made 17 car sale/transaction deposits of $204, 975.56 with an average of $12, 000 plus per transaction. During this same period my Ending Daily balance has been as high as $104, 000 and no lower than $48, 000. I have been a customer of the bank since I started my business in 2003. As of today your online credit score has me at 818. Right now I feel my loyalty to your bank is not being reciprocated. I need someone to call me and assure me that I am wrong. Bob Ross [protected]

Wells Fargo wells fargo home furnishings

I opened account # [protected] at Home Furniture in Baton Rouge to purchase a bedroom set. The store representative said as long as you make your payment on time you will not be charged any interest. When the account was paid down to about $1200 Wells Fargo decided to add $900 in interest to the balance almost as much as the bedroom set cost pushing the balance and payments higher. At this I thought I was dealing with the mob.
I contacted a Wells Fargo representative but got no response. I am requesting that Wells Fargo remove t he $900 interest that was added to my balance.

Wells Fargo home repair line of credit

My husband and I called Wells Fargo to have our line of credit increased that we have specifically for home repairs. We explained why we needed the increase and offered to send the information to them regarding the vendor and quoted amount. A few days later, the vendor came and did the work. $6k worth of work to have our furnace and one AC unit replaced. When the vendor tried to run the credit card, it was denied. After calling Wells Fargo, they told me the vendor was not on their approved vendor list. After all the discussion about increasing the line of credit and explaining what we needed it for, they are now refusing to cover it. This is unacceptable. If they approved us for the credit limit increase and agreed to pay the vendor, they should honor that. Plain and simple. Now I am stuck with a $6k bill that I cannot pay because Wells Fargo lied to us.

Wells Fargo recruiter gonzales

To whom it may concern,

I recently had a phone interview for Banker Safe 1 with the recruiter stated above. I felt I aced the interview, I answered all questions with expert answers and I really wanted to advance my career to the banking arena since I'm currently a school teacher. I always had a desire to change my career since I will be graduating in May it would have been perfect timing. Well today I received an email stating I was not referred to the next part of the interviewing process. It is my right to know why and what I could've done better or how I could improve my experience for the next banking job opportunity. I was told by WF Hopewell HR to recontact the recruiter who interviewed me prior, so I did just that. The first time I called at 3:30 PM she did not pick up and I failed to leave a voicemail so I called right back to leave a professional voicemail asking her to call me at her earliest convenience. I then called one last time at 5:10 PM she picked up after I introduced myself "Hi, this is Ashley LeCorn we had an interview over the phone a few days ago and today I received notice that I was not selected for another interview" she then replied "yes, you have called me an excessive number of times today, so I will need to call you back when I have time". I replied "Ok", I'm thinking that was really rude she didn't allow me time to explain why I called twice or anything. Then she called back at 5:15 PM and stated "What do you need", I replied " Yes, I received notice that I was not among the highly qualified applicants to be refereed for the banker safe 1 position and was wondering if there were any pointers( example things I failed to say or things I could improvement or any suggestion for my resume as experience) you can give me to be eligible for the next position that may come available. "She responded that I was not one of the highly qualified candidates for this position and I could apply again in three to six months to undergo this process again". I have a serious issue with this response because one she was very rude with her tone and demeanor the first two times she spoke with me and second she never answered my question. I'm a young educated woman who would like to advance into banking but I now see that Wells Fargo is not on my preferred list. I use to be among one of the 100 million WF valued customers, some of my family members are also customers. I thought Wells Fargo was a wonderful bank and I always had a great experience but I will not tolerate anyone being rude to me or anyone not giving me the same opportunity as other. After any interview I always ask for pointers because they can help you go really far in the future. I will never associate with this bank ever again and I will ask family members to do the same. This was truly and awful experience, I'm sorry this bank doesn't have more positive role models like myself working for them.

Sincerely,

Ashley LeCorn

Wells Fargo mortgage (homeowner's insurance)

HELLO! Our complaint is a little different than others I've seen but we are wondering if anyone has had or heard of a similar experience and what options we may have. My wife and myself went to her niece's boyfriends house at approx. 4am on Feb. 18 because her niece had called saying their basement was flooded and she wanted me to look at it and try to figure out what was going on. When we got to the home, we were not aware that the niece and a friend had been up & down the stairs. The hallway light was burned out. As my wife opened the cellar door to go into the basement, she slipped head-first down the stairs, twisting and turning eventually landing on her back, and then rolled down the last few steps into the water in the basement. In trying to get to her, I nearly fell myself. We got her up into the kitchen and called 911. She ultimately had broken 3 bones (Ankle, Fibula & Knee cap) as well as tore some ligaments in her neck and fractured a finger & her nose. She was transported to the hospital and spent nearly 12 hours in the ER. Her ankle was placed in a cast and a knee brace applied. She also had to wear the neck collar. She may or may not require surgery down the road depending on how everything heals. So, here's the issue. The homeowner had bought the house and at some point, Wells Fargo bought the mortgage from the other company. Somehow, he allowed his homeowners insurance to lapse. Wells Fargo, as a stipulation for having the mortgage, then purchased homeowners insurance for him and it was paid by his escrow. But here's the kicker. Apparently they only bought coverage for the dwelling only...NO LIABILITY which is crazy considering the fact that basic coverage includes liability insurance. So, in essence, they only covered themselves for the dwelling...So my wife gets hurt on the premises, and then Wells Fargo says there is no liability insurance to cover her medical bills, pain & suffering, etc...My question is, what can we do. Suing the homeowner isn't going to do much because he don't have much. And even a Judgment can be difficult if not impossible to collect. Plus, a bankruptcy filing would wipe a judgment out. Can we sue Wells Fargo? Has anyone else either had a similar experience or know someone who has? Anyone else have someone get hurt on their property and not have coverage? What happened? What did anyone else do? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated...THANKS!

I should also point out that the cellar stairs and the hallway landing turned out to be wet from her niece and friend who had tracked water from the flooded basement. Also, the stairs have linoleum on them without the anti-slip strips. I did wind up taking pictures after the ambulance took her to the hospital and prior to me leaving for the hospital on the advice of the medics and police on scene.

It may be worth contacting an attorney for a possible solution. I believe they'll tell you there's absolutely no requirement for the bank to carry such coverage. However if the bank still holds the title, you may have a possible option.

You could sue him and attach a lein to the property title.

Do you have insurance?

Hi! Thanks for responding. Wells Fargo does still hold the property title but he still owes a lot on the mortgage so there wouldn't be much left after Wells Fargo got theirs. As for insurance, she does have Medicaid & Medicare but they won't cover everything and she will wind up in the proverbial donut hole, and that's not good because she has other medical issues that require regular treatments and appointments. She has homeowners insurance and I even have renter's insurance but I'm certain those won't help us. We have talked to a lawyer and they did tell us that we can sue him and get a judgment but again, these can be hard to collect and he could always file for bankruptcy and get it wiped out. We are definitely in a bad situation as I assume that most people have homeowners or renters insurance depending on their situation and that this unfortunate accident just happened to occur at one of the few person's house that didn't have coverage. Really sad to because it really is quite inexpensive for full basic coverage. Even my renter's insurance, which covers full replacement value (fire, theft, vandalism, etc...) includes $100, 000 liability coverage and the whole policy only costs me about $125 a year! Any other ideas or suggestions would be appreciated...THANKS!

Actually I believe you're incorrect in one regard -- by federal law, court awarded judgements are not dischargeable through bankruptcy. As a result, you can file against him and know that you'll be able to ultimately collect.

After looking online after reading your last reply, it appears that most court-ordered judgments are dischargeable through bankruptcy EXCEPT divorce & child support, DWI injury awards & intentionally injuring someone, most taxes, etc...we are still researching everything because laws do vary from state to state with regards to required insurance regulations and obligations. Thanks!

Wells Fargo stop payment

I've been a Wells Fargo customer for many years and I'm appalled of the carelessness they have given to my account. I called them to make a stop payment on my account which I had mistakenly made twice it had not yet posted nor was it pending I was told they could definitely do that but they needed to charge me $31 for the stop payment service. I told them I was willing to pay the $31 but I did not want that charge to go thru. I gave them the amount of the charge which was $700+ and the name of the company who would be making the charge. Well a few days went by and I checked my account and noticed the charge had went thru! Not just that but they had charged me the $31 stop payment fee. I was so upset I called them. I was told they would open a claim and review the charge and I would see the amount reimbursed to my account within 10 days. Well today I got a letter letting me know I would not get reimbursed for my money because it was not done in a timely manner and I had authorized the payment with the company that had charged! I went off on them when I called and the representative that I spoke to told me he didn't understand why I was so upset because it was my mistake not there's. And just to add they were not returning my $31 stop payment fee all they could do was reimburse me $15. I will be closing my account with Wells Fargo after this they truly made me feel unappreciated and disrespected.

Wells Fargo association with the nra

I've been a Wells Fargo customer since about 1981, though my business is so small, you'll never miss me if I go. Nevertheless, I write to say that if you don't disassociation your organization from the NRA, I will close my account.

I remember, over 35 years ago, how proud I was to have the old Wells Fargo stagecoach on my credit card. When I travelled, store clerks would ask me about it; I felt -- unreasonably, perhaps -- that I was associated with your history.

I do not want to be associated, through Wells Fargo, with the NRA. Please stop acting as, as Bloomberg said, the go-to banker for gun manufacturers.

Looking forward to seeing in the press that you have moved away from your current position on the NRA, I'm ready to act accordingly,

Two days later Wells Fargo, revoked that $3500 deposit which made my checking account overdrawn $3300.00. Return deposit charge $7.00, 3 od fees at $35.00 each. I called Wells Fargo to find out what happened. They sent an electronic transfer payment to Great Lakes $3317.60 without authorization by me or an account number to apply the money. This transfer is now missing/unaccounted for yet charged to my loan for me to pay. I was told it would take 90 days to figure out where the money went but that I was still responsible for for the funds. I contest this. The money unaccounted for is the responsibility of Wells Fargo.
My case number is #3854269.
I have been contacting W. F daily and some days a few times daily since April 5th and have no resolve to this issue.
I borrowed family money to cover my overdrawn checking account.
There was a 3 way phone conversation with Alexis from Wells Fargo, Great Lakes and myself on April 9th, with no results. Great Lakes can't locate the funds.
This is unacceptable and I will not be held accountable for the $3317.60 that is somewhere in limbo. My account has been closed and I will not repay the money lost by your company.
Unauthorized use of my loan is illegal.

I have reached out to Great Lakes multiple days as well as reaching out to Wells Fargo too. The money is not showing at either location. Thus, the reason for the complaint.
My original complaint states that I have contacted both.

It would appear, without any further communication, that all the issues have come to a favorable outcome.

Best wishes.

You responded, "I have reached out to great lakes multiple days as well as reaching out to wells fargo too. the money is not showing at either location. thus, the reason for the complaint. my original complaint states that I have contacted both."

I appreciate your quick response ms. mcgrath. i'm getting a better picture of the issue. if you wouldn't mind, a little extra information may be helpful.

It would appear that you have been repaying a student loan. it's important to not reveal any specific account numbers, but I would like to get a somewhat better understanding to where funds are being moved. as I understand it, wells fargo originally approved you for a loan of $3500, conditionally placed within one of your accounts and transferred, by you, to your checking account. great lakes, having the information for your account, made an electronic funds transfer or eft in the amount of $3317.60. assumptively paying off your student loan. at approximately the same time, you write a check to great lakes to accomplish the same. the amount being $3329.80. the additional $12.20 being for additional interest, suggesting it was a later payment. however, wells fargo, determined that the conditions for the $3500 loan couldn't be met and, therefor, pulled back the funds from your account, meaning your payment of $3329.80 bounced. would that be accurate thus far?

It would then suggest that wells fargo is showing you in arrears for the approximate $3317.60 eft, in addition to the fees you've also described ($112.00 = 3 ($35.00) + $7.00). again, hopefully all that is accurate.

This would then beg the question, where does great lakes show you are at on your student loan? do they show the eft was applied to your account or are they not able to find or show the funds applied in any way? it also leads to the question of how you know the $3317.60 was transferred by great lakes? was it wells fargo that was able to supply you with that information? finally, what were the conditions of wells fargo's loan that enabled them to pull back the $3500 in funds?

I'm sure we can help remedy the issue for you and all else involved.

Hi Ms. McGrath.

I'm sorry to hear of your concerns.

Whereas you know an electronic transfer was done by Great Lakes for the $3317.60, wouldn't it be more appropriate to contact them for the return of the over payment?

Wells Fargo does not consider an account closed with a negative balance. I'd suggest staying in contact to help resolve the matter.

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Please let us know if this correspondence doesn't address and correct any of your concerns.

Wells Fargo personal banking

The date of the incident was 04/06/2018
Client Jada Jackson no client number available but it can be looked up by the complaint board
Jada entered the bank with the intent of reopening a closed account. The account was closed because she lost her job and didn't want to incur charges for not having income going into the account. The account closed with a 10 charge only. Jada was advised that she could not have the account reopened because her stories didn't match up to what she said she would be doing with her account. She was questioned and badgered as if she had illegal funding going into her account. She left the bank completely shaken up from the experience. They questioned her about what would she be using her money for and how she would be utilizing her account. She answered their questions and was told at the end of it all that she was denied because she was lying to them. The branch manager was Wendy Ildina and she treated her as if she were a terrorist. That is totally uncalled for and it marred her banking experience. This branch manager as well as the branch manager at 8100 Lake Wilson road also added notes in the account to block her from having another account. She has gone to a different branch with someone else unbiased and they found absolutely no reason why the account should not be reopened or provided a new account. The other places were profiling and that is not okay. There should be a formal apology to Jada Jackson and both managers will need to be reprimanded for their behavior to this young lady. At this time we have sought counsel to pursue this matter.
