Wells Fargo debit card being declined

I have had my debit card declined on endless purchases for over six months now. I can't even buy a $10 drink without them declining my card. I have had to call almost ever single week to get my card unblocked for every charge they block. It's embarrassing and not necessary. I have told them numerous times to stop denying my card and accept the charges and they continue to deny all charges. It's embarrassing and not acceptable. I have been with Wells Fargo for many years and this service is ridiculous

I dealt with the person in charge of customer traffic and answering questions. I only wanted to exchange a $20 bill for quarters. She asked if I had my debit card and account number ready. I tell her i'm not a member and don't have an account with any wells fargo. She looked impatient and said she will do this "for one time only" and repeated those words to the teller who was about to help me. One time only? And you give members priority over those non-members? All banks i've been to don't do this and gladly exchange bills. The asian lady who I had this encounter with seemed very strict and made me feel I didn't belong there. I felt very uncomfortable the whole time and wanted to just leave. I got my 2 rolls of quarters angrily and left. Feeling like I just walked in an exclusive club and being given the bum's rush. Simply horrible customer empathy or compassion, or lack of it.

They should stop this policy. They're a bank, as I told this woman. They can exchange money. This branch wasn't even a mortgage office of wf. Just a bank that holds cash and coins. If anything, they should be extremely nice to people, in light of their current scandals and losing trust from millions. It's the little things that make all the difference folks. Learn it.

I was a customer for about 15 years. The last 5 years have been a stay at home mother. So I have not been using my account much. But keep it open so I can cash checks. Know for 3 have been cashing check my boyfriend gives me for groceries. Never week he get pay every Friday and it get direct deposit it to his account. So on Monday s he gives me a check to go shopping go to the bank and cash the check. And go shopping right after. I hardly ever have any money in my account. I know for a fact that I never had the money in my account to cover the checks but now all sudden this week they won't cash my checks and don't have enough money in my account now why for 3 years I can cash a check with no money in account but now today I can't. I try asking what's the difference between this week and last week when I had no money in my account they try to tell me I had money in my account last week and I haven't had money to get my account since 10:12 I cash two checks with no money in my account. So because no one can give me an answer and keep lying to me I cancel my account I am not too happy with this Bank anymore and I will be posting all over the Internet what kind of [censor] you are and that one time you let people do stuff and then you stop doing it. I hope you guys go out of business.

Wells Fargo loan modification / denial / sale date

This case has a sale date 10/27/17. We submitted a loan modification package with self employment income but after a few months I was switched over to w-2 wages. In my submission a profit and loss was submitted. So we get denied due to discrepancies but they are not giving me the reasons for discrepancies They didn't even allow me to explain or advise how I could rectify the discrepancies. I feel they are setting me up to foreclose on my house. The denial was not valid they gave me no chance to save my home. I am 13 months behind

Their customer service is horrible and my family and I should not have to wait on Wells Fargo to finish our home. This property loss process is too much, we have to jump through too many hoops. I will be going with another bank as soon as our home is repaired on Wells Fargo's time. They are holding my insurance funds to repair my home hostage!

Dear Mr. Sloan,

I am requesting your assistance to help speed up the process in getting disbursements to my contractor in a timely manner. Beginning of September I call property loss department to request a check I'm told 3-5 business days. I wait, nothing? I call back to find out what's going on I'm told check sent out 9/15 but was cancelled? No one called me to let me know this. They said my name was on check can only be the contractor. I asked them to reissue me a check please expidite as my contractor needs to purchase product for my home. Wells Fargo is now delaying my rebuild! I'm told once corrected "no date given" will take another 3-5 business days. I wait, nothing. I check my home several times, nothing. I called back asked who sent my mail so I can track it. I was told FedEx. they gave me tracking number FedEx said delivered left at front door. Not your teams fault, however if I would have know this would be delivered FedEx I would have requested to be sent to a different address. My house is clearly not livable due to the fire so when we left we had USPS foward all our mail to our temporary house. However we don't get FedEx. To make things easier I requested your resolutions representative Carleen to stop payment and reissue another check directly to Charles Keller Construction. She asked for the address, I provided it... she stated the stop payment can take a few days after that the check will be mailed to my contractor. This was om 9/28/2017. My contractor called said he didn't see a check come in could I find out what's going on. I call today was hung up on 3 times... I finally got through to Michael in property loss department who said there was a note added today that customer needs to give written consent in order to mail to contractor? Two questions here. Why didn't Carleen tell me this on 9/28? If my conversations recorded I gave verbal consent so why can't you just mail it? Michael transferred me to a supervisor who did not empathize with my situation at all. Very disconnected to what I am gping through. I did get upset and ask her to put someone else on the phone. She had me on hold for 5 minutes then hung up on me. I called back talked to Michael again who transferred me over to a manager Kim who told me I can go on icc.com.wellsfargo to upload written consent form or fax it in. I told her I told the supervisor who hung up on me I did not have a fax machine and had no way of leaving. Kim suggested I use the website which would take 2 days to take care of once they get it. Then I would assume that my contractor would have to wait another 3-5 business days? I googled the website and found nothing? I need help today! I am being inconvenienced here... As husband with 3 children I am sure you can relate how important being in your own home is. My wife, 2 children and I really want to get back in our home and Wells Fargo is making this process very difficult. I have attached my written consent maybe you can expidite this process.

Wells Fargo service manager

We arrive to the bank at 9 am October 5, 2017 after 1 hour waiting with not explication the service manager Michelle Fuguay came outside with my check all stamp and void she say she could not talk to the account holder, which we call and wells Fargo never call him, black people walk in with checks they were explain why they have to hold and only wait 15 minutes, white people the same but we that are Hispanic have to wait 1 hour for not reason and them she came outside and lie in our face and destroy our check, I will take this as a discrimination act from wells fargo employed and service manager Michelle Fuquay. Manuel morera. And we hope Wells Fargo take this seriously as discrimination act perused by banks are illegal in USA

Wells Fargo teller, assistant manager

I went in to a local branch yesterday suggested by a customer relations rep. They did not do much to try and help me or help my situation. Patricia Araujo NMLSR ID:1472877 Did nothing to try and help. I asked for the branch manager Mari Velasquez (645209) proceeded to the office after Patricia discussed my situation indescretly where everyone in the branch could hear from down the hall. Mari Velasquez approached me with no efforts or intentions on helping once she approached me. I told her I felt discriminated against in which I believe she was racial profiling.

Wells Fargo credit management group in phoenix arizona

Due to reasons beyond my control, we have fallen behind a couple of payments on an SBA loan. I have been offered by a WF rep to make 750.00 payments every week. Well out of five weeks I made three of these payments. This past week I talked to my representative, Patrick Stephens, and I told him that I would make a payment, which I did, and I would also make a payment on Tuesday and Friday of the next week. All of a sudden On Monday, this guy tells us not to make any more payments because he has thrown our loan in foreclosure. We had discussed the payments and he completely stabbed us in the back. This guy tries his hardest to be a "bully" on the phone, and I refuse to be bullied. We have had our differences since day 1, and I will not succumb to his tactics. He then starts threatening foreclosure when I speak to him, like it is his ambition in life to foreclose on our loan. I am not saying that I am right, falling behind on my payments, but I am not going to be subjected to his attempts to bully and threaten me on the phone. What he truly acts like is some cheap debt collector. Anyhow, my past dealings with WF has been good, even locally, I deal with professionals who take time to help you. I hope WF looks at this guy, it is not right to treat people like this guy does. I m forced now to involve an attorney, spending money on the attorney instead of my loan. Who knows where this is going?

Wells Fargo fraud/scam

I am very disappointed very upset with my wells fargo bank. I have an account since 2000 this bank cant do nothing to stop the scam that was my money and i did call and stop the payment right away. The customer service are not well train they don't know what to answer i lost my $150 and that's not fair. i am very very upset. Also they need some nice people in claim department. people are so rude and mean in that department they don't want to help you at all.
In that case i have to look for a good bank who can help me if something like this happened in the future. i hate to do it but i have to secure my money and need positive and trained people.

Good morning. I went to wells fargo to make a deposit. The line was very long and I notice the teller on the drive on Facebook she looked at us on the line and turned back around to be on facebook. I asked for a manager because the teller on the front is making a business deposit the manager dis not respond to me when I ask why is the young lady on the drive not helping out? The manager response was"she cannot help customers because she is on the drive"while the teller laugh and chuckled and still didn't help. Wells Fargo my personal account being discussed about to my employer

On monday of September 11 2017 at 12:40 pm I had went to the bank to pick the remaing deposits from my job (churchs chicken) from over the week end as I am going over my deposit slips in my office at my job I realise one is missing so I call the bank( greensboro downtown ) Nc and ask to speak to jennifer she told me the deposits that they had for that morning which were only 4 i asked her to check againg she said that the deposit was not thier it was for 755 so i ask here if it was possible that it might be in the drop box she said Yes but that they could only opened it one time a day i notified my distric manager of what had occur and he asked for the bank number i gave him the number and she said that we would have to wait untill tomorrow. This was at 300pm when he had called .i am not sure who called back at my job this was at 324 pm stating that they had found the deposit and was posted at that 324pm that is was stuck with one of the other deposit .but heres my complaint why were the employees from the bank discussing my account to my employer without me being award and telling what i do with my money transactions . This was a mistake that this praticular bank did by not being carefull when they open the drop box and take account of what they get making it seem that this deposit had been stolen when it was at the bank no register .

Wells Fargo personal banking services

When travelling overseas recently my atm/debit card ceased to function . I was informed that the card had expired as it was a temporary card. I was not informed of the pending expiration before I travelled, when I filed a travel itinerary with WF.. I explained to the WF rep that I was in Moscow and needed access to my funds. Rep's response was that they could mail me a new card but had no idea when I might receive it as I was out of the US. I explained that I was in Russia without access to my funds and that this was an emergency. The response was there is nothing we can do. I requested to speak to a supervisor. I explained that I was a long term customer I had adequate funds in my account and I would appreciate it if they could assist in getting me access to my funds in Russia. The response from the supervisor was that there was nothing they could do. To be clear, I repeated the question as what they could do to assist a customer abroad. The answer was nothing. I was absolutely amazed as I cannot believe that an institution like WF has no banking relationship in Russia that they could have accessed to wire me funds. To be sure I asked again if this was their final answer...it was. Thankfully, I have an Amex card. As a world class organization Amex were more than happy to assist in getting me access to funds. If I had not had that alternative the situation would have been very serious for me.
I moved my banking from BofA to WF several years ago on the understanding that I would have private banker service. What I received was the lowest level of retail service, if that, with absolutely no attempt to resolve what could have been a very serious situation. I am certainly looking to move my banking relationship to an institution that at least has some empathy for their customers needs when travelling abroad.

Did your temporary card have an expiration date on it? I've never heard of anyone getting a temporary card without being informed that the card would only be good for a limited amount of time(normally 2 weeks OR once the permanent card is received and activated). I would go to WF's actual website because nobody from there is going to see this post, as mentioned in this websites terms of service, they do not have any affiliation with any business nor do they contact the business when a complaint is posted. This website is a good tool for warning the consumers about what companies to stay away from or explaining a bad experience with the company, but unless it is a tiny company, they do not have people searching online to find complaints posted. Since someone clearly made a mistake IF they didn't put a expiration date on the temporary card or paperwork given to you with the card, I definetely hope that you have also written to WF using their official contact information. Being out of the country and not having your money would be terrifying. Since this card was temporary, they should of mailed you your permanant card to your home address, you might have better luck paying for express shipping and having a family member get the card from your home mailbox and having them send it to you themselves

Wells Fargo dealer services - vehicle financing

Well Fargo has not informed me over the last 18 months that I have been receiving a late fee every month. Each month I pay a little extra over the amoutn due, which covers the fee and the monthly bill. However, in the way back machine I missed a payment or something. That is fine, but after encouraging me to forgo paper statements, the website does not tell you that you have an amount past due. Only the amount due WHICH- because I paid extra every month, was never more than the agreed upon payment amount. They have recently changed the interface and the new interface doesn't have this problem - hence my discovery! So I made 18 consistent payments of more than my monthly payment with a little $9 fee tacked on. I called and asked to split the difference with them and they said no this was all my fault.

I would expect a company to be willing to work with an honest customer but instead they chose to keep my fees and treat me like a cash cow.

Terrible, terrible attitude. I just wanted to have an account in good standing and they were unwilling to help me do that.

Wells Fargo customer service

I was profiled by Joe Spencer. I have been a member since 2012. I have deposited checks into my account since I've had it. After Hurricane Irma, I lost my card. I went into the Port Orange branch off of Nova and Dunlawton. Raymond Graham was wonderful with helping me replace my card, I then went up to Joe Spencer to deposit my check. Before he looked at my account he told me, "My account was too new, by hold on let me look at it." He told he I just came from Raymond and maybe he could help me. I informed him, how long I've been banking with Wells Fargo, I also informed him Raymond helped me replace my card. I've never been inside this bank, but I have used their drive thru on numerous occasions. A woman, then walks up and suggest I walk outside to the ATM and deposit the check myself. I have never had such bad service at WELLS FARGO. Thank You Raymond Graham for going to extra mile and ACTUALLY looking at my account and giving me great customer service. As for Joe Spencer, I hope you receive more training!

By the way, as soon as I left this branch the wonderful Amber, at the Port Orange Branch on Nova and Spurce Creek (store #0066167) for helping me!

Wells Fargo falsely increasing credit limit

on 9/8/2017 I used an Wells Fargo ATM machine. I used my debit card numbered XXXXXXXXX 6373 to withdraw from 40.00 total from two different accounts. The machine asked if I wanted a receipt and I chose no as my response. After my transaction was completed the machine issued me what a thought was a receipt, which made no sense to me because I had chosen no to receive one. As I read what the document was I was again puzzled, it read as follows:
"WELLS FARGO
coupon
Congratulations!
We have increased the credit limit on your Wells Fargo credit card. Now you have more purchasing power and it's available immediately. To view your new credit limit, please refer to your account summary in your latest statement, or sign on to wellsfargo.com
If you have questions please call [protected]."

Well, my balance has not been increased, and no one can explain how this happened. Please provide an option so that I can upload the document so you can see it for yourself, no one seems to believe me.

Wells Fargo checking account

Wells Fargo has caused me to be in the negative 4, 062 at USAA because they didn't realease my funds to the bank. They told me I have insufficient funds and charged me fees but the money was in my account. Now unless I pay USAA 4, 062, I will have to close my account. Well Fargo treated me with no regard for my situation or respect. No one could help. My name is Alicia Hurst and I would like a call back [protected].

Wells Fargo auto loan

Last year, I paid off an Auto loan that was for a used Chevy Coblat 2009.
The loan was through Wells Fargo Dealer Services for 5 1/2 years. I paid it off in full in 2 1/2 years. I have never received a refund check for paying it off early. I did receive the clear title...But never even received a Final Statement on it.
So how do I go about finding out about a refund for early payment?

Wells Fargo short sale refusal

3055 Skyline Dr, Kelseyville, CA 95451 Loan #[protected]

This is about a short sale application where the borrowers were approved for the short sale, but when the bank countered the offer, the buyer decided not to proceed and now we have another offer on it which the bank was informed about last week before 10 days of the foreclosure date which is set for this Friday, 9/1/17. However, because of technical issues, the full paperwork was not faxed in until last Friday, 7 days before the foreclosure date. Yesterday, I was told the bank’s policy is to not allow a short sale offer within 38 days of the foreclosure. I tried talking to a Short Sale Department manager, Brian, who spoke to the "Leadership Team" who said that they were going to follow the policy and take the property back.

Wells Fargo waseca branch manager

I heard the branch manager for Waseca Minnesota, Michelle Meyers, call the construction outside of the building "retarded", as well as making fun of meat service workers and their titles. All of this happened as I was converting my account, with the help of an amazing clerk named Ashley. She was also with a younger male of whom I do not know the name of, but am willing to assume is a manager of some-sorts.

Wells Fargo unethical behavior

I am a cancer patient. Was diagnosed in July of 2015. later that year, don't really remember the date, I called Wells Fargo to ask if there was anyway that we could work out a plan to lower my truck payments due to the increase in medical bills with the chemo, and not working full time. I was told no there is nothing we can do for you. So we did our best to keep up the payments.
In 2016 I called again for some help and asked if we could refinance our 2008 F-450. I was told that Wells Fargo doesn't refinance anything over 5 years old.
So of course we tried to keep up payments again, with me going through radiation and not working full time it was tough.
So this month, August 2017 we get a call from a man named Jay from Wells Fargo saying that we are 59 days past due on our account. I explain about the first 2 calls, he says the second that we could have refinanced in 2016 because its 8 years. Of course to late now because the truck is 9 years old.
Then he asked why we weren't offered a Hardship Loan last year? I have no clue why I tell him. Of course now Wells Fargo will not help us with a Hardship Loan because the payments are too delinquent.
I have used Wells Fargo before for the purchase of other vehicles and have always payed for the vehicle, but now when I'm in financial hard ship they toss me aside without another thought.

I am pretty much done! I made a payment on Friday oct 26th and right after I checked my account to see if it was taken out and it was so I went on with my day. Then come Monday I forgot about a payment for daycare and that came out, so of course I knew I was getting an overdraft fee because of that. Then today Tues. oct 30 I look and that same payment that was made on the 26th was “pending” but when I look at the negative balance it’s from that payment on the 26th and the overdraft fee from the daycare payment on Monday. So I call and ask them if I was going to get yet another overdraft fee because of that pending amount that was already paid and came out on the 26th. They said they won’t know if I get another overdraft fee until the day! I am still so confused. Closing my account as of Friday! Do not recommend opening any account with this branch!
