Wells Fargo mistreatment

I re did my mortgage with Wells Fargo a year ago and was totally abused by the agent. She lied and ignored me, then sent me the paper the day before signing with the interest rate and payment information.. On the day of signing, I came across a document which seemed to indicate that I would have to pay the taxes - I had requested that the taxes be included on a regular basis during the loan negotiations. I am now stuck with a mortgage the same as the previous one, but I still have a $150 a month tax payment on top of the amount of the previous loan. Then I wentt o check them on my checking account which has not been used very much. I was dismayed to see a $12 a month charge for the last 2 months because "I did not have 3 products with them". I haven't had 3 items for at least a year, and there was no notification, just added 2 months of check account payment for 2 months (which by the way made me $5 minus in my account. Obviously this company has lost touch with reality... I mentioned that I had a couple bad things happen and the rep proudly announced that they were the biggest ahd best in the industry... HAH! I wrote them over and over but they refused to listen to me.

Wells Fargo illegal actions

Wells Fargo has destroyed my credit and refuses to repair it! Before I was deployed to Iraq for 15 months, I had changed insurance companies for my vehicle. Wells Fargo was not aware of the change, but knew that the old insurance policy was canceled. Without my knowledge, they added insurance onto my loan. Consequently, $215 of my $550 monthly payment was being taken for this insurance. When I returned from Iraq, I applied for a motorcycle loan, and was denied. When I pulled up my report, Wells Fargo was reporting my loan as being delinquent over 30 days for 15 months. I faxed them evidence that there was insurance on the vehicle the entire time I was in Iraq, and they were supposed to adjust my principle balance and fix my credit report. The balance was supposedly adjusted (though I don't see much of an impact in it as it should be) but they refuse to fix my credit now. They told me a request was never put in. A request? I can't even begin to tell you how many times I requested they fix it! Then, they said it would be quicker to file a dispute with the credit bureau. I did this, and Wells Fargo is still reporting that I was delinquent for 15 months, even though I can provide proof I made all the monthly payments and that the vehicle was insured. I am trying to trade in the vehicle, but can't due to my credit history. Wells Fargo won't even give me a new loan, when they're the ones who messed it up! The requested I get a co-signer, which I provided, but they said because I live in Texas and she is in California, they can't use her. How that makes any sense, I don't know. They are also still trying to collect over $400 in late fees from me. I have repeatedly requested a print out of my updated payment history to show how much of each payment was applied to interest and principle. I have yet to receive it.

To make matters worse, under the Soldiers and Sailors Act, by federal law, they are not allowed to charge me more than 6% interest (my regular rate is 18%... I still ask myself why I agreed to that). I faxed them my orders to show I was deployed and the dates. They came back and said the orders were not sufficient enough. I re-faxed the same orders I originally sent, and now they want me to show paperwork I am still active duty. Why that matters, I don't know.

So, not only have they destroyed my credit and refuse to fix it, they are refusing to help me get rid of a vehicle I no longer want AND they are not abiding a FEDERAL LAW by adjusting my interest rate during the time I was deployed. Wells Fargo is taking advantage of active duty military by adding things onto their loans while they are indisposed without their knowledge.

In addition to placing a complaint on this website, I also plan on filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and I have an appointment with a JAG officer to discuss my legal rights.

I know how you feel my husband is being deployed again over seas . We just got a car and have not received anything from them about the first payment, but a phone call about insurance which we had proof, but 2 days ago they came and repo our car and said that we would have to get another way of fiancing it. The first payment just came up I guess because when we bought the car the place wed bought the car said we had 60 days or so before our first payment and we still have yet to receive a payment book or letter stating when it was due. Dave was gone the whole month of may duing training. We can't even get them to talk to us. I want my car back and don't know what to do. Trying to get a hold of the main branch but can't get past the people at the office. Any ideas what to do.

Wells Fargo illegal activity

Mortgage rape!

A+ 2/28 xp full doc 40/30 1st
6 month libor
Margin 6.99%
Start rate/floor 9.95%
Ceiling 15.95%
1st rate change 24 months 3%
Regular rate change 6 months 1.5%

I never received a gfe on this loan. I was told the rate was 6.99% by the loan officer. wells fargo bought this loan from inhouse lender with knowledge that the property was over-valued and the terms of the loan were outrageous.

I have been requesting help regarding this situation since august of 2007 when I found out that the rate was actually 9.95%. I have also been working with the loan department workout negotiator for months and have been told one thing and then another thing is done or completely disregarded. I have kept very careful notes regarding every conversation I have had.

Imagine my surprise to learn from an ad with careerbuilder.com that a workout negotiator makes between $13.00 and $14.00 per hour. a high school diploma is required and some "other related finance experience preferred". must be detail oriented, self-motivated and have ability to organize assigned work. must be a team player.

I am appalled that my future and the future of my home are in the hands of inexperienced workers, making only $13.00 to $14.00 per hour. it's no wonder that there is no communication and no credible solution to help me in this incredibly malicious loan being offered.

What has been done to us is immoral, not the least of which should be illegal and the powers that be should be ashamed that this type of practice was and is ongoing. had I known that my actual interest rate would start at 9.95%, I would never have agreed to the loan.

Also, notary publics are the only people that go over the loan documents for the purpose of signing. there is no 3 day right of recision with a new loan, only with a refinance. the notary that signed with us gave us no information, simply pointed out the places where we were to sign. if notaries are to be allowed to sign loan documents with clients, they should be required to have knowledge and give explanation as to the terms of the loan at the time of signing, or the lender should be required to sit at the table with the borrower and the notary at the time of signing.

My credit is ruined and I will most likely lose this house because of unscrupulous and what should be illegal practices by the people involved.

I'm sure i'm not the only one who is experiencing this. I have 12-year old twin boys who are completely stressed out that we will have to move out of you home and they will possibly have to change schools.

In addition, the value of this property is now only $490, 000.00. it has devalued by $250, 000.00.

SUE THE [censor] THEN

STEP (1), Go Find a GREEDY, Hungry Lawyer on a contingency Basis FEE. If he does it for nothing but the outcome of your case, and then you pay him off for his services, You'll know you got a good case without him telling you since he already knows you're gonna win.

STEP (2) RECOUP all your losses and then some.

Go thru the Yellow Pages until you find one Attorney that says he'll do it.

I had to call up 33 Attorneys for a particular case but I found ONE, JUST ONE, that would do it, and I won!

The rest are lazy Cherry-Pickers that want easy cases only.

Wells Fargo never again

I would have to say that I am fed up with wells fargo. The calls requesting payment is ridiculous. You calling every half hour isn't going to make money come flying out of my mouth. I understand we are behind on our bill and it is in danger of repossessing but COME ON! I was out of work for 8 weeks due to conflicting work schedules with my husband and I so we got a month or two behind. Well, we noticed that his job wasn't going to be able to pay for all our bills so he went back to his old job so that I could go back to working nights. We needed another income. Ok so we were all caught up on everything and then I had to be out of work again due to us having another child. Well, we were no more then a day late not paying my car payment and they are calling us again. We were told when we were behind again that we could ask to defer a payment, or even two if they were both late, to the end of the loan. So My husband and I were glad that we could do that for when i would be out for having the baby. Well, we let it get behind so we could defer the payments and we were told that they couldn't do it because there was an application process for it. I'm sorry but if you are behind on a payment and you want to defer it, by the time it gets accepted the next payment would be late already! So needless to say when we kept getting phone calls my husband finally answered it and they were requesting payment. My husband explained that we requested a deferal and she had no idea and had to check for us. Come to find out it was DENIED! Nobody would have called us to tell us it was denied so we wouldn't have found out until it was too late. Now we are 2 months behind because of that and they are threatening to come take the car. Which is my way to get back and forth to my job! I am so frustrated with wells fargo. They need to stay connected and communicate with each other at least if not with thier customers! They are ridiculous and I will never use them again!

Wells Fargo - unethical practices of stealing customers money

During these times of financial crisis, we are encouraged by many to not panic. Don't take your money out of the stock market or the banking institutions. However, these are the ones that are ripping us off. I had a balace in my account with Wachovia of $70.65. I made a $42.80, $27.80 and $13.13 that posted on October 15, 2008. On October 14, I wa...

Wells Fargo fraud, fraud, fraud

After being on time with 29 payments never missing one for my car payments, we ran into some financial difficulties. spoke with someone in the department about a week a half ago and he said, no problem, just call back after the due date and they will give you a deferment on payment for a month. Called back today 10/13/08 and after going through their chain of command in their collections department, I was told by the floor supervisor verbatim "We are not heartless, we want our money" among other words. I live on social security and had just run into a temporary situation. On time for 2 1/2 years and this is how a bank treats good customers? I can't believe it.

Wells Fargo bad service

Wells Fargo made an illegal automatic withdrawal from my personal checking account 11 days after I called in a payment. They took out a very odd amount of $986.59, not even my house payment amount. I did NOT have all of that in my account so my credit union paid them the difference, charged me a $24 overdraft fee, AND put me $220 in the negative. I had my credit union fax me a copy of their withdrawal and called WF. They DENIED any activity saying it does not show on their system of such a withdrawal. I faxed them the copy and they said for me to call them in 5 business days. I had to go without ANY money, I was FLAT BROKE for almost a whole week because of them. Then all of the sudden that money is back in my account but REFUSE to pay me the $24 in overdraft fees. And they DENY the fact they ever withdrew my money. When I asked how my money all of the sudden 'appeared back into my account' they told me to check with my credit union, which of course they did NOT have anything to do with that. This company is full of crap. I am now looking for a different company to deal with, a company who is trustworthy because I plan on being on my home for a long long time.

Credit defense department. In August I open a credit card. I was not aware that I signed up for this program. In March . I mention to them I wanted out. They stated I would be canceled. On or about 4/23/12 I called and was concerned about my bill and I spoke with Mr. John Vitao he stated he did not see anything where I had called to canceled the program.

When I called that department-defense Mr.Zack, stated he did see where I had called to canceled it in March, he did not know why it had not been canceled. Then a few days letter I received a copy where my signature had been signed on a piece of paper. When I signed there was a very small machine I signed with and could not see all of the paper work.

If this is the case I have a right to canceled this program. I would like my money back. Also I felt this was in retalation about my phone called. I felt the first guy was not very help full at all. Also this will lead me to cancel my Raymour and Flaingan furniture account. I call Wells Fargo about this matter, so one stated I would get a call in 48 hours. Sofar, no response as of yet.

I got a car loan from Wells Fargo in the Fall of 2007. By July of 2008 they were calling me to tell me that every payment has been late. I sending in payments a month before they were due. They told me it was my fault, they didn't care and it was my responsiblity. I told them I had no control over the post office. They said they didn't care. They would call me up to 5 times a day. Even after I already spoke with them. One lady would yell at me all the time. When I spoke to the supervisor, he just kept threatening me that my car would be repocessed. I told him I didn't care and would gladly take it to a bank. Then he would turn around and say no, don't give it up it's bad for your credit, then turn around and threaten to take it. I told him to make up his mind, if I wanted to give it up then they'll have to deal with it. I still have it and struggling payments. I told them I had lost my job and they just didn't care. I told the supervisor that they were crooks and only in fees thus wanted it towed and not taken in. I told him I was tired of being yelled at. I was tired of being harassed. I was tired of telling those people to stop calling 5 times a day and yet they still did it! I applied for automatic withdrawl so I don't have to pay the 10 phone fee and they denied it. They said pay online, I told them I don't always have internet. Personally, I feel the purposely hold payments. Why did they make a profit? Because they are crooks. They charge rediculas fees. I had somebody commit fruad on a checking account I had with them once, and they still made me pay it. Personally, Wells Fargo still owes me $800. But i'll never see it because thiefs don't return stolen money.

I had recently lost my job, because of this I ended up having the use Wells Fargo's Direct Deposit Advance to cover some bills. I honestly was ashamed of this. My paycheck from my new position was deposited on Friday and they took the whole thing to cover the advance! I advanced $400.00, my paycheck was $700.00. How does that work!?

Then, because they took my whole check and drew my account negative to cover it I've been getting harassing calls from them concerning my -34.00 account. This morning, at work I told the lady it would be paid in full and then closed as of January 2nd, 2009 and to please note that on my account and stop calling me. She told me that she needed to call me weekly to make sure I followed through. It's christmas time, I have gifts I need to by with that money.

I also have a Wells Fargo Secured Credit Card with a small limit that was linked as overdraft protection. When They overdrafted my account, they pulled money from my already almost maxed credit card and put it over limit and then charged me fees because they put it over limit. So Now, I owe them 34.00 dollars for a Checking account, and 36 dollars for my credit card.

On top of that I had a savings account with them that was closed in November of 2007 when I moved out of the Wells Fargo Area. I just recently recieved a letter (November 2008) from Wells fargo bank concerning this closed account. Confused because the letter didn't say much I called the 1-800 phone number and talked to a repsentative. She then told me that this account was "charged Off" with a balance of -107.00 and that I needed to pay!

I informed her that I had closed that account with a zero balance in November of 2007 and if the account did have a balance on it, with it didn't, why was I hearing about this now. She told me that I needed to provide proof that the account was closed. I told her that I shouldn't have to provide proof and I didn't understand where this random letter was coming from.

Then just today, I got a letter in the mail from Wells Fargo, along with my Statement saying they are financial sound.

Yeah, right.

I went in one day to close an account that I didnt need. I spoke to the customer service manager and she seemed really nice and professional. I told her i wanted to close the account. she told me to wait a couple days for the account to be offically closed. two days later i Realized that i mistakenly used the "closed account" card. of course i was over charged so i paid off what i used the card for, and she said she would reverse the over draft fee. i waited a couple days and noticed that the account was still opened and i was being charged more for not paying the overdraft fee. i gave her a call and she told me not to worry and that she'll handle it. i'm a very busy person with work and school so a week later i check my account and i realized that the account is still opened and that i owe $92.18 . she didnt close the account like she said she would and i was charged $57.13 on my new account w/o my permission to pay some of the over draft fees. im extrememly dissappointed that i put effort to close the account and checking that she would do her job and in the end i have to pay money i don't feel like i should.

Mine is not as bad as others, but I have had a Wells Fargo credit card for 24 years and never had a late payment. Recently, Wells Fargo raised my interest rate from 6 to 10 percent. I calledand asked for my old rate, and was basically told too bad, that everyone across the country was being raised because of the "business climate." When I pointed out that Wells Fargo took millions in stimulus/TARP funds, the person on the phone representing Wells Fargo said, "I can't comment on that." In response, I said, "Well, who can comment on that?" I was passed on to a higher level person (or so I was told); this person said yes, the bank did take the millions, but that the funds helped thousands of consumers save their houses. Reading these personal experiences on-line, and personally knowing someone whom Wells Fargo is harassing over their mortage, I can only surmise that these representatives lied to me with what was probably a scripted spiel. I have subsequently applied for a different card and will soon be canceling my quarter-of-a-century relationship with this bank.

I called WF's Auto refinance dept at [protected]. I was trying to see if I could re-negotiate an extremely high rate loan I stupidly accepted. I did not know how this interest was going to be computed, and believe me it rivals the Mobs rates big time. I spoke to a guy named Tim P who basically told me that, he wasn't about to address the issue because no one had forced me to accept the loan. When I expressed how rude he was being, and the desire to speak to some one else, he insisted that there was nobody else, that he was the man. Good Luck with this bank folks.

Did by chance 30 days pass between the time you advanced the cash til the time you got your deposit? Because, if no deposit is made within 30 days, the amount will be deducted automatically whether you have the funds or not. The fine print says so :(

Wells Fargo unauthorized billing

I use Bill Pay thru Wachovia. In Sept they started charging my account on the day I scheduled a payment (I'm not referring to electronic payments but payments made by check). The payee did not cash the check for another 10 days - therefore they had the use of my money for 10 days. If they do that with every depositor just think how much of our money they have to use every day that they shouldn't.

After all, it's our money until the check is returned to the bank cashed by the payee. The Presidents office said they couldn't do anything about the situation.

I deposited CASH first thing friday morning (July25) to cover payments that had to be made on the 23rd but go to a separate bank... so it always takes THREE days to clear. When I checked my account online on saturday the 26th I found $70 in nsf fees with no account of what they were for. So I called the bank and was told that they were for checks written on the 23rd. I said, but those checks didn't come in until the night of the 25 and still aren't even logged into my account. They couldn't have bounced on the 25th because the money was there that morning in CASH.

They told me the checks came in on the 24th... which is impossible since they were written to a different bank and it takes three days to clear from the retailer to their bank to my bank... (this was wachovias own advice to me several months ago).

Then the man told me that he could see when the checks were written and at the time they were written there wasn't enough in my account to cover it... this tells me that they have a 'sometimes' practice of being spiteful and bouncing things after the fact... that didn't reach them until money was in the bank but because they see when the check was written they spitefully bounce it anyway.

This is not the first time they have wrongfully taken money from our accounts. Back in December they charged nsf fees due to a purchase that was made when there was PLENTY of money in the account to cover it... making other stuff bounce in the long run because of a bunch of incorrect nsf fees. THEN over a month later. they charged NSF fees AGAIN for the same transaction that supposedly took place back in december... and their excuse was that the money didn't get pulled till January.

So which is it? Did the same purchase OD the account in December or in January because it cant be both they tried to say that the money was on hold in December... so it bounced the account (which makes no sense) but then when the money was taken... in JANUARY supposedly (there wasn't enough to cover it... but it was on hold? so why wouldn't it have been there waiting?

They have the upper hand because they can change their computer records to say whatever they want them to say and it ends up being your word against theirs... they they try and confuse you by talking in circles. Their rules change with the wind and they have stolen thousands of dollars from us over the last 3 years. They don't care who they steal from, senior citizens, people on low fixed incomes, even their own employees are treated poorly. If a wachovia employee is unfortunate enough to become a victim of id theft or fraud... they get fired... if their bank account gets overdrawn... by accident... they get fired. what happened to humanity? Its no wonder wachovia is going under.

Unfortunately it seems that all banks are taking on these dishonest practices and seem to be above the law.

I say run far and fast from all banks.

How do you contact the President's office, I just had the worst experience with Wachovia...they have a manager at a Croydon PA who racially profiles people just based on a first name...mind you she did know this person and did not know what they looked like, they did not bank at her branch and she refused to apologize.

Wachovia's practices are very suspicious. I am astounded how some routine checks that I send the same time each month, take longer to hit my account when my activity is unusually high or my balance becomes extremely low.
When my account activity is low or my balance remains very high, the checks always seem to clear days earlier. Service reps never have an answer for this.
If I forget to record, or miscalculate, debit card purchases, I'm in big trouble. They take money from your balance to cover the debit card purchases that haven't yet posted to the account; fair enough.
But they then charge overdraft fees for those items once they post. Even though those dollars were already accounted for, because the money to cover them was taken from my account which caused one overdraft that take the balance much lower then ever anticipated.

Wells Fargo inability to withdraw funds

On Monday, October 6, 2008, I went to the downtown branch of Wells Fargo Bank in Denver to withdraw $10, 000 from my savings account. The teller told me he could not give me the money because the bank did not have the funds. I told the teller I did not understand. He asked the teller in the next booth, showing her my withdrawal slip, and she shook her her head no. I asked to speak to a manager. The teller called a manager over, and the manager explained to me that the bank did not have such sums of money on hand, and that I would have to call in advance for them to order the money to honor my withdrawal. This is a large bank in downtown Denver, full of customers. Yet they did not have enough money on hand to fill a $10, 000 withdrawal request.

When I got home, I called Wells Fargo Customer Service, and the representative said it sounded very odd that the bank would not have that kind of money on hand. She said, "it blows my mind" that they would tell you such a thing. She put me on hold. When she came back on the line, her tone had changed, and she said the bank policy was that if I wanted to withdraw such a sum of money, I would have to call in advance to order it, that contrary to the movies, banks do not have large sums of money laying around in their vaults. I commented that this was the largest branch in downtown Denver, and I was a bit surprised that $10, 000 would exceed their cash supply. I asked, then, if ten people came in to the bank, each one wanting just $1, 000, then would they start turning customers away. "Of course not, " she said. But if I wanted to withdraw the money from my account, I would have to call ahead and wait a day or two for them to get it in. This makes no sense! I wonder what would happen if I came in and wanted to close my account and take out all of my cash?

Wells Fargo non stop harrassing phone calls

Ever since I took a loan out with Wells Fargo I have been getting these harassing phone calls that start at 8:15 in the morning and continue til 9:30 in the evening. This goes on 7 days a week and on Holidays! I have spoken to them and every month when I tell them when I have mailed each payment and they tell me that they will make a note of it in their system, then the very next day I get another phone call from a different person and when I tell them the persons' name and extension that I spoke with the previous day they tell me "it doesn't really matter because they are on an automated system so they can't control who to call and who not to call". Then when I have a current account with them I still get a phone call from them asking me if I would like to refinance my loan with them. I have a home daycare center and I have told them that if this continues they are going to cause me to file for bankruptcy because I can't be answering phone calls every few minutes of every day when I need to be focusing my attention on the children! I have already tried changing my phone number, but somehow they got the new number and started their harassing phone calls all over again.

Don't shift the blame. If you made your payments on time as you agreed to do they wouldn't be calling you. I would be willing to bet that if the bank owed you money and said they would pay by a certain date and didn't, you would be calling. Bottom line is don't blame your lack of responsibility on someone else.

Wells Fargo harassment

Wells Fargo Collections, as an agent of Raymour and Flanigan, makes abusive and harassing phone calls. They call at dinner, on Sundays, and insist on debriefing you, regardless of your credit or payment status. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was advised there was none available. Then, when I got one, Craig, he was obnoxious and abusive. He intimated I was responsible for the abusive phone calls, in spite of the fact that I had already paid. I am tempted, since I own my home and don't need credit, to default on my loan just to anger them.

Do not buy from Raymour and Flanigan because of their bank Wells Fargo!

Wells Fargo is one of the worst banks to do business with... I unfortunately got a loan from them several years ago. I still get nasty phone calls form them and often the customer rep wants to argue with you. I pay my bill as close to the due date as possible. They even said they would work with me regarding a missed payment back in April...My understanding was that they would add this payment at the end of my loan. I was very appreciative of their understanding and willingness to work with me... However, now they want me to add the missed payment to my next two (July and August}. I told them I would not be able to July and would be willing to submit the additional amount to August and September. OK, was their answer. Now I am getting letters and phone calls about the "additional" monies and how I'm not holding up my end of the agreed upon amount...

I have to send you this email to notify you that I am being harassed by your collections department everyday. I have explained to every one that has called and there Supervisor that I just refinanced my home with Wells Fargo hence the reason payment on my old loan wasn't made. No one I have spoken to has had the decency to follow up on my case and verify this and end the calling, they just have someone call the next day.
It has to be in no uncertain terms the worst customer service I have ever experienced with any company I have ever dealt with. Please I beg you, put a procedure in place so that one hand knows what the other is doing with your financial institution. The harassment is ridiculous to say the least. I would have thought that the first person that called me would have verified that I settled and that the payment was in fact not due. Wouldn't that make more sense than alienating your clients?

Think twice about a Wells-Fargo Home Mortgage. If you are required to carry private
mortgage insurance, and you pay off your mortgage loan early or refinance it, they will
NOT refund any unearned private mortgage insurance they charge to your escrow account. For instance, let's say that your mortgage payment is $1, 000 a month of which
$100 per month is mortgage insurance. If you pay off your account on the 5th of the month, technically you are due a refund from the 6th through the last day of the month
for your mortgage insurance premium. But Wells-Fargo Bank will collect the premium
for the entire month even though the mortgage may have been paid off early in the month, and they WON'T refund a single cent. To me, it is a RIP-OFF bank with policies
that paid it's bottom line with deceptive, unethical, and morally wrong fees and charges.
Don't ever lose a key to your safe deposit box or they will charge you a $200 fee to have
a locksmith drill out the lock in your safe deposit box, even if it is costing them only $75;
they are thereby unjusting profiting from an unfortunate situation.

Wells Fargo scam and cheating

Wells Fargo reported us incorrectly to 3 credit reporting company's that we were 90 day's past due on on mortgage, after we had paid our mortgage account off in FULL! The date the loan was satisfied was in May 2008, but yet they reported us 90 day's late in June 2008... impossible. When calling, the local office, they stated they could not help us and referred us to the home office, 1 hour later and many different customer rep's later, we were told they could not help us and we must submit a written letter to the credit dispute team and await their investigation before they could correct it, up to 30 days.

The problem... we sold our house and paid off the loan and are trying to purchase a new home, however because of this 90 day's INCORRECT report on WFF behalf, we are being denied the loan and good interest rate, and may even lose our chance of purchasing the home because of their uncooperative manner in dealing with their mistake. All we need is a letter stainf tis was a mistake and being corrected and we could get the loan - THY WON'T DO IT! We have submitted the letter and reported it to all 3 credit companies that we need to dispute this matter, urgently.

I will pursue this legally in the event we lose the house purchase because of this. I think this is horrible service and will never do business with WFF in any matter. Not only have they made a mistake which hurt's our credit, they are holding us hostage and are not willing to make any effort to help us. If you are thinking of doing business with WFF - DON'T.

KS are federally regulated to protect both themselves and its customers. However, in Nevada, some bankers find it extremely hard to follow these regulations and make their bonuses every quarter. In order to receive their incentives, they bend the rules so they can get their bonuses and their customers suffer the consequences. How do I know this? I am a former employee of the company and was personally affected by this misconduct.

The 'trick' is simple, a customer comes into the bank to get a statement, inquire about an account or activate a debit card, the banker looks at the customer profile, immediately notices that the customer has been pre-approved for a line of credit so he/she decides that Mr. Customer needs it and submits an application without even informing the customer.

That alone violates many regulations, first the customer must always be aware of any credit applications submitted on his/her name, second, rates and disclosures have to be presented to the customer before summiting the application, and last but not least, the customer has to give authorization to have his/her credit report pulled.

Other great way bankers satisfy their loan requirements every week is with the famous solicitation calls. This happens on Thursdays from 5:00pm to 7:00pm when bankers are required to stay after work to make outbound calls to existing customers to offer products and services they may need. A person or two at my old bank had a great technique to get customers to apply: they call the customer, introduce themselves and offer to mail information about a line of credit, if the customer agrees to receive that information the banker automatically submits an application, if the customer gets approved the line of credit is open and will remain open at a zero balance indefinitely, if it gets denied, it will be hard for that customer to know that an application was submitted (unless they check their credit reports). Usually bankers have a way to avoid denial letters, so the customer never finds out.

What about signatures? No problem, not need it for a personal line of credit since is a revolving trade (just like a credit card) only installment loans require closing signatures. This issue is only the surface of many unethical things some bankers do. I invite people to check their credit reports and see if there are any unauthorized inquiries from Wells Fargo. If you don't want to go through the hassle of getting that report call a local office and inquire what accounts you have open with the bank or if there are any credit applications entered for you in the past (they will only go back 30 days on that, so getting the copy of your credit report is best). If there are any lines of credit, credit cards or accounts you didn't know about, report that branch. Credit is a serious issue and bankers need to respect the customer's decision to obtain it or not.

I have been with this horrible bank for three years and by no means do I feel like a valuable customer. Wells Fargo has shady billing practices at best. As charges go through they will immediately impact your balance, but will remain in a pending status. For instance, if there is $100 in your checking account, and you make 10 transactions of $9 each, you will see your balance at $10. At that point if a bill payment was scheduled to go out for $110 the system still lets it go. Now what you'll see is 10 $9 transactions, followed by a $110 bill pay, all in pending status. Within 24 hours though, that list will flip on its own. Suddenly the $110 bill pay is in there first and no longer listed as pending, so you're $10 overdrawn. Next all ten of those $9 transactions will become permanent and no longer pending, so now you're $100 overdrawn. Even though on your register you will show the same starting balance, Wells Fargo has just found a way to charge you $340 in overdraft fees instead of the $34 you should be charged. So it's okay to mess with pending money if it's going to make them more money, but if while these are all still pending you deposit $150 in your account to cover it... guess what happens! Yes, that's right, that money will be deposited after all those pending charges are confirmed and you'll be $290 overdrawn instead of $440.

I have already spoken to several dozen people at my work, a good size number of which have canceled their direct deposit and opened accounts elsewhere. I plan on continuing to cost Wells Fargo as much business as possible until I feel either vindicated or compensated. When I have contacted my local branch I argued with a very rude young lady for 15 minutes before finally letting her know that I would simply cancel my direct deposit and close my account. Her response, in far too cheery of a voice, was "Okay great, that sounds like a fantastic idea."

I want Wells Fargo to admit that there IS such a thing as a bank error. I know that their employees understand that the bank misbills and mishandles money. At my work I have two employees who both worked for Wells Fargo for some time, and both of them said they would NEVER bank with Wells Fargo after working there. That is not a good sign.

Since Dec 1, 2007 I have had 23 overdraft fees plus no less than 8 "continuous overdraft" fees. Based on my register and calculations I should have had 5. Over the years I have had quite a number of invalid overdraft fees and I paid them anyway even though I should not have. At this point if I do not get the continuous overdraft fees and the 18 invalid overdraft fees returned to my account immediately, I will close my accounts with Wells Fargo, pay off my car loan with Wells Fargo, and ensure that everyone who will listen knows not to bank there. Don't worry though, after all the many MANY experiences I've had with this company, I'm not holding my breath on getting any response at all, let alone anything actually getting done.

My husband & I purchased our home from Wells Fargo, located in Texas, however the loan was out of a Wells Fargo Home Mortgage office in Ft. Mills South Carolina with our payments going to the home base at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, Inc, out of Des Monies, IA. We thought something was funny as it took eight weeks to close on the new home while purchasing it and when we tried to turn and sell the home sometime within a year, we found out that the foundation was broken and we could not sell it. While investigating our FHA paperwork, I came upon a really unusual situation. The paperwork for our FHA loan appraisal was actually done on a conventional loan processing paper and Wells Fargo had denied it the first time the brokers tried to have it processed, as it wasn't done right, and then it was submitted again and approved the second time around. Calling on Wells Fargo they admitted that they didn't process it the first time and admitted that they did turn it down the first time. Then I called FHA for an answer, they could not give me the reasons why it would pass and that they didn't see anything wrong. After going through many, many months and three real estate firms to sell it, we decided it was in our best interest to hand the home back to Wells Fargo and we filed all the necessary paper work for a deed in lieu, approximately and timely within the first month everything was done certified, also, letting WF know of the situation and moving out immediately to hand back their home, with Wells Fargo keeping our down payment of over $15, 000, plus the two years of time we paid on it. Then in the mist of the whole thing we found that the taxes on the property weren't even processed correctly it was all fudged. Wells Fargo, never processed the deed in lieu and offered only the reduction of selling which we could not afford and they turned down our wanting the deed and lieu, on top of this the house sat closed up for more then eight months while they were messing things up, by saying they would get someone out there to appraise the home, however, they couldn't even get the right appraiser out there, which would be an FHA appraiser... they wanted a conventional loan appraiser out there... however, we were not able to even afford their decision of a reduction sell. Totally not allowing for the deed and lieu and all along, Wells Fargo kept us at bay by losing our paperwork and claiming that employees were walking off the job and fax machines not getting the material because of all the refinancing that was going on in the USA at the time. The end result was our credit score was destroyed, and being told by a law firm that Wells Fargo was way to big to go after. Then to make things worse, several of my credit card companies wrote and decided to lower my available amounts because of the loss and then upped my rates as high as it could go. To this very day, I have all the paperwork, faxes, dates, numbers, letters to and from that could very well, make your toes curl. This is what one would call The REAL DEAL: A REAL AMERICAN NIGHTMARE! Pebbles of MO

Remember Wells Fargo bank is not the same division as Wells Fargo Mortgage Company, they do not have the same rules and can not help cross help you in a different division.

When Wells Fargo came to Albuquerque, NM about seven years ago, they bought out almost ALL of our banks. Unfortunately, the mortgage on my home of 22 years was also bought by them. I HATE WELLS FARGO! Although I have 14 days to pay my mortgage from their "Due Date", they also phone me at least three (3) times a day! I have told them that I am totally disabled and I will continue to pay my monthly payment before the 14 days is up, yet they continue to call EVERY MONTH. I do business with a smaller bank. They know my name, will transfer money from a CD with a phone call from me, and will assist me whenever I need them to cover something for me. I BEG EVERYONE TO CEASE DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY THAT IS JUST TOO BIG TO PROVIDE ANY REASONABLE LEVEL OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. If I could afford to move my mortgage (i.e., refinance it), I would do it in a heartbeat! If we all quit doing business with the HUGE corporation, perhaps they will go away?! I PRAY ALL WHO READ THIS WILL ADMONISH THEIR FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO STOP DOING BUSINESS WITH WELLS FARGO. THEY ARE "OUT OF CONTROL"!

I have a mortgage loan with wells fargo. For some reason, they will not allow automatic or online payments for my loan (they told me they could not be processed for my loan). The statement calling for my October 1, 2009 payment arrived at my home on October 3. In other words, it was already late. I phoned the 800 customer service number, and because it was Saturday I had to leave a message which was never returned. I phoned a bunch of other departments before someone finally admitted that "there had been a glitch" and all the statements were sent out late, so payments won't be considered late. This person assured me that the next months statements had already been processed and sent out. I pointed out that with adjustable loans, the payment is calculated based on the outstanding principal balance. Because of the bank's "glitch, " customers were basically prevented from making payments for a month and therefore the bank collects extra interest because they calculated the following month's statements on balances that did not reflect these late payments they told me they were honoring. The person I was speaking with, of course, didn't understand why this was a problem. It would be interesting to calculate the magnitude of the benefit Wells Fargo will reap from this "glitch." This, to me, seems grounds for a class action suit to all individuals who did not receive their statement on time.
The bank representative also told me that statements are sent as a "courtesy, " and that customers still must make payments on time whether they receive them or not. My payments fluctuate every month. It would be impossible to know exactly what the payment is without the statement. My loan info is not accessible online and payments may be made through no other method than by mail (these are their restrictions, not mine).

This is not the first time I have experienced poor service, bordering on illegal, from Wells Fargo. I have found Wells Fargo to be completely unresponsive, irresponsible, and impossible. I would never recommend this bank to anyone. They should be investigated. They are taking advantage of many customers.

Wells Fargo is the worst mortgage company ever. I never was late on my mortgage and then I got deathly ill. I was close to death two time in 2006. I still was able to keep my mortgage current. I am sure that I have a rider policy on my mortgage to cover issues due to health, but Wells Fargo says they don't know anything about it. They brought my mortgage from GMAC in 2003. Wells Fargo has misapplied payments and had to correct them on my mortgage also. I am still ill and got behind on my mortgage so I requested a "letter of forbearance" from Wells Fargo and received it in December of 2007. Then in January of 2008, Wells Fargo sent my a letter from their attorneys stating that I was being foreclosed on. I told them about the letter of forbearance from Wells Fargo and was told they did not know any thing about it and they could do whatever they wanted. The lady at the attorney's office that I talked with said that if I did not give them $8, 000, she would call the sheriff to come that day and throw me out on the street. I had just got out of the hospital again and they were talking about taking my right leg off because of the illness. I was at my end of the road. It had taken a US Senator and a state Governor 5 emails to get my Social Security disability back payments which was $9, 000. I decided to take $8, 000 of this money to Wells Fargo. I was on crutches and when I got to the attorney's office to pay Wells Fargo the money, they would not even open the door and help me get into the office. They had no handicap access to the office what-so-ever. I struggled trying to get into the office without falling because if I had fallen, I'm sure Wells Fargo would probably just step over me and keep walking. I gave the lady in the attorney's office a certified check for the $8, 000 and she wrote a receipt, I thought. She would not help open the door, so here I go again trying to get out of the office without falling. When I looked at the receipt, she had not put the amount that I paid on the receipt and it did not have Wells Fargo name any where on it. In fact it did not have any business name on it. I was sure I had been taken, because it took Wells Fargo three weeks to post the check. They kept calling me and asking for the money even through they had it. They said they had no record of ever receiving any money. I am now been foreclosed on by Wells Fargo and I am out of my house and homeless. I am 60 years of age and the illness I got will get me sooner or later if what the doctors tell me. One thing I did leave Wells Fargo through, is a house that has the super bug I got in it. It is in the carpet and woodwork. When Wells Fargo goes in, and they will, Merry Christmas.

My husband and I have had many small loans with Wells Fargo in which we had paid off on time or completely before due dates. We took out a small loan to buy a car. It was $2200. We had been paying on it up until this year. My husband was hit by a car while riding a bike. He messed up his shoulder (thank goodness that was all) and was not allowed to go to work until full recovery from surgery because of the heavy lifting he does at work.

We were just barely making the bills because of the cost of gas and food and everything going up, but we were making them on time and in full. When this happened it completely devastated our finances. We fell behind in everything just to keep a roof over our children's head.

I was paying Wells Fargo twice a month, as much as I could. I had other bills and creditors that I was trying to make happy also. Anyway, they would call as much as 15 times a day. They called my cell phone and I wouldn't answer because I didn't have the money to pay a high cell phone bill.

The longer my husband was out of work, the further we fell behind. I was still sending them money, but we ended up having to make the decision to do a debt consolidation or we would lose our home. I called Wells Fargo and explained the situation with my husband's job and the customer service rep I initially talked to was very helpful which I appreciated. It was an extremely hard time and I was about to have a nervous breakdown. He told me to keep doing what I was doing and when my husband got back to work, then we could make a double payment to catch up. My husband was on short term disability, but it wasn't near enough to pay for everything. This man also told me that he would stop the calls for awhile. Within one day's time, I started getting calls again from Wells Fargo. I answered and explained the situation again to them and I was told that the phone calls would not stop and that what I was paying them wasn't near anything what they wanted. I told them I was sorry, but that was all I could do. My kids had eat something.

They kept calling. Averaging around 10 calls per day. When we started the debt consolidation process, we were told that if a debt collector calls you and you inform them that someone has power of attorney for you regarding the debt, then according to the Federal Trade Commission rules, they cannot call you anymore. I got sick of the calls and finally answered and told her that our lawyer would be getting in touch with them regarding the account. She informed me that they would verify my husbands employment and take us to court if we did not pay. She made me feel like a complete liar. I could not believe it. We always paid our bills on time and had excellent credit. For her to call me a liar when my husband had been seriously hurt, thank goodness not killed. We had medical bills piling up, the person who hit my husband insurance company was trying to get out of paying bills, we were near losing our home and my children not getting enough to eat. She calls me a liar and tells me I will be taken to court. This is after I have told her that someone would be taking care of the problem.

I didn't hear from them for the rest of the day. I thought the calls had ended because I told her someone had power of attorney for us. No, ...the very next day I received 7 calls. That night, I typed up a letter demanding that they quit calling me. I gave them my lawyer's information on how he could be contacted and faxed it to them. (My lawyer is still getting the paperwork together before contacting them).

Do you think that stopped the calls. According to the Federal Trade Commission, once a debt collection company has received a letter to cease and decist calling they cannot call. Since faxing the letter and the FTC rules to them night before last, I have received approximately 17 calls.

What makes them think they are above the law when it comes to debt collection practices. If I didn't want to pay the bill, I wouldn't have been sending money to them every two weeks. Unbelieveable. We will never use Wells Fargo for another thing as long as I live.

I had mortgage and HELOC with Wells Fargo both were on auto pay (the payments were automatically deducted from my checking account) with Wells Fargo as well. They reported me Late on the HELOC 4x then I called them and they said thier computer showed 2x. I have never been late 30 days. That is why I went on Auto pay. They said I had to file my dispute with the Credit reporting agencies. Not them Are they nuts. They create a problem am won't fix it. Then when I went to refinance they would only offer me subprime. I would not take a Bad Loan so I had to sell my house. They are terrible.
But B o A is just as bad. B of A would not turn on the disability insurance on the Credit Cards when I got disabled. I paid that insurance every month.

We provided Home owner’s insurance policy covering from Aug 2006, so there was about 1 month and 2 weeks of lapse which they claimed they notified us to cover from June 2006 which we never received and we demanded them to provide the proof of such notice but they failed to provide.
2.Excessive 800 - 900% gauging – if it is not illegal, it is willful exploitation. For mere 1 month 2 weeks short lapse, they charged insurance premium whopping $1568.52 ($1078 + $490.90), prorated abut $8000 yearly for DWELLING ONLY without any liabilities for COVERAGE AMOUNT $750, 000 while comparable industry average Dwelling only premium for that coverage is about $1200 YEAR.
3.Unilateral lender placement charge –BETRAYAL OF CUSTOMER’S TRUST. They unilaterally insured at the highest gauging amount of premium THRU THEIR OWN INSURANCE COMPANY WITHOUT CUSTOMER’S CONSENT. They betrayed customer’s trust to profiting themselves, which should be breach of fiduciary duty. This self-dealing insurance premium rip off is directly hurting consumer and should be stopped. When we complained, ASC replied they sent notice to us on July 17, 2006 which we never received and we demanded proof of notice they delivered to us but they refused it and failed to prove they gave us notice.
4.Unilateral deduction from Mortgage payment and started to charge late fee. Despite we paid full amount of monthly mortgage payments every month in time without any skip, ASC took the gauging insurance premium away from our mortgage payment unilaterally and did not applied our payments to monthly mortgage payment and started to charge late fee. THIS WILFULL EXPLOITATION IS HURTING CONSUMER AND MUST BE STOPPED. Despite of our complaints in the past a year to correct it, they are keep charging late fee and harassing to foreclose. THIS MUST BE STOPPED. PLEASE HELP TO PROTECT THE CONSUMERS. THIS IS WILFULL AND DELIBERATE EXPLOITATION BY GAUGING INSURANCE PREMIUM.
5.Retroactive insurance premium charge should be stopped – if not illegal it is wilful exploitation. OUR INSURANCE POLICY COVERAGE DATE WAS AUGUST 2006. ASC'S LENDER PLACEMENT INSURANCE BINDING AND NOTICE DATE WAS OCTOBER 2, 2006. NONTHELESS, ASC CHARGED RETROACTIVELY FROM JUNE 2006
6.ASC confessed it was their error not able to notify to us as ASC audit team discovered later there is no hazard insurance on our mortgage after they purchased the loan from Ohio Savings bank, this facts were confirmed by ASC employees “Miss SHANE, and Miss ALICIA both working in Frederick, MD office.
7.Despite of all above, not only there was no fire on my house during the lapse period but also WE NEVER MAKE ANY ERROR ON OUR SIDE for that short lapse, in fact it was their error as they confessed. Therefore it is very natural to grant courtesy and grace period for that short lapse, but ASC refused which proves that their practices are WILFULL EXPLOITATION, TRAP, AND PREDATORY TO HARM CONSUMER to profit themselves.

We are very very frustrated as they continue to refuse to correct it for the past year and giving us painful ordeal.

Please kindly help us let them stop this kind of ASC/Wells Fargo Bank's willful and exploitative practices as I believe this is their pattern of consumer exploitation not only us but others as well.

Sincerely yours,

Hy & Rosemaire Cho

I ma in the same boat; after a six-week lapse in coverage; Wells went ahead & retroactively charged us an astounding $675.00 (our annual policy which includes personal coverage as well is $1191.00. I spoke with 3 people at Wells including a supervisor and a manager and told them I will refi this note elsewhere unless they waive or reduce this preposterous charge. I have never heard of anyone retroactively charging for insurance gaps, and I will be taking them to court, as the amount is totally unjustified & abusive. Wells Fargo will also lose us as a customer for the remainder of our lives. They simply do not care that these myopic decisions affect their bottom line.

Wells Fargo - stole my money!!!

This bank stole over $800.00 of my money right out of my account!!! They claim that because my step son's account got overdrawn that they can simply reach into my account and get the money. My step son is an adult and I have no influence on him or access to his account. They claimed that they can do this because I had my wife in my account and my wife had...

Wells Fargo online security

Until today I'd been with Wells Fargo for 16 years. I'm now going to another bank. Wells Fargo has terrible online security. A scammer used my social security number to hijack my account online. Despite not having my PIN and not having the answer to my personal security question, Wells Fargo allowed them to change the address and phone number on my account and to open a new savings account in my name. My statements were heading to another state! Wells Fargo didn't notify me of the address change and allowed them access to my account with nothing but my social security number.

This is so wrong. Now I have to sort out the mess and Wells Fargo is proving inept in helping me do it. Their fraud department was supposed to call me back and never did. When I called them I was placed on hold for 30 minutes and then they hung up on me.

Don't bank with Wells Fargo if you want your money safe. It won't be because any scammer can go online and hijack your account with very little information.

Wells Fargo inappropriate banking practices

On Wed. 3 September I drove 60 miles from Fort Sumner New Mexico to Clovis New Mexico to deposit my bi-weekly salary into my checking account. I deposited two money orders from Wal Mart; one for $700, the other for $500. I was aware at the time of deposit that a check had been honored 24 hours previously resulting in a negative balance in my account.

Upon checking my account on the computer Thursday morning, the on-line bank statement showed a positive balance of about $150, the $1200 deposit was pending and the $700 money order was on hold until 08 September.

When I accessed my account today, Saturday 06 September, the on-line bank statement showed a negative balance of about $149, and both the $700 and $400 money orders were on hold until 11 September. I checked the reason for the hold, and there was annotation of irregular deposits to my account.

I called the phone bank and spoke to a â?Michaelâ? and shared my displeasure about all of my funds being placed on hold and my puzzlement as to what irregular deposits were being questioned. He quoted the bank policy; I told him I know their policy, but why both money orders, and what irregularities? He responded that the bank needed to verify the origins of the money orders; I replied they were from Wal Mart and I use Wal Mart money orders often to deposit money into my account. I questioned, what was so different this time? He again began quoting bank policy. I thank him for his time and told him of my plans to file complaints to Wells Fargo and the New Mexico State Attorney General.

I went for a drive and cooled down and decided not to file a complaint, until I logged onto my computer upon returning home to see that the reason for the holds had been changed to â?repeated overdrafts in past six monthsâ?. Upon checking my account history, I decided that I would complain.

First of all, if anyone wishes to examine my account, a person could set their watch my deposits. I get paid every two weeks, on Wednesday and the number of times I do not deposit my salary every Wednesday evening can be counted on one hand, minus the thumb; there are NO irregularities in my deposits. I do have 2 or 3 utility bills that are automatically withdrawn from my account within the first 2 weeks of every month, without fail; again no irregularities. If anyone examines my debits, they would conclude I own stock in Wal Mart, have a car payment, a home mortgage and also pay rent on a house where I work out of town; again no irregularities.

As for overdrafts, the last overdraft I incurred was in June of 08 and since I am a Doctoral Student I do run into financial problems sometimes, such as the one I had in March of 08, I did have several overdrafts.

However, I believe if anyone were to look closer at my over drafts in March as well as the one a few days ago, there appears to be a banking practice that I do question. The person who makes these decisions is aware of my banking patterns; deposits and debits. They are aware I am sure that if a hold is placed on my account during the first part of the month, I will incur several overdrafts because I have 2 or 3 utility bills that are automatically paid out of my account, resulting in several overdraft fees and extending the account holds, which then results in more overdraft fees because I do have a mortgage and rent and other utilities that I pay towards the middle and end of the month. So yes, I find it hard to believe that the person who makes these decisions is not aware of the commutative affect of holds when some bills are automatically presented for payment. I can only deduce, assume and therefore conclude that the reason that someone places a hold on my account during the first two weeks of the month is to increase the income of the bank through overdraft fees, resulting in greater financial hardship and psychological stress for me. In this case Wells Fargo could not decide if the reason for the hold was irregularities of deposits or persistent overdrafts (two since June).

What do I want? I would be satisfied if debits that occur automatically would be honored during financial holds without overdraft fees and the reasons for the holds are realistic and honest. If this practice is occurring with the many patrons of Well Fargo, I can only image amount of money the bank gains through this practice.

I have lost nearly $10, 000 in attempted deposits since 2006. This month alone we mailed two deposits in Wells Fargo pre-printed envelopes and one by Fedex and not any of the deposits have been posted. The Fedex deposit of $900 was signed for but the money never deposited. The first $500 and $280 deposits also failed to be placed in our account. This bank account belongs to a group that feeds the hungry.
Last year we lost a $4, 000 donation and a $2, 000 donation. We had the account since 1988 and had no problems until 2006 when we moved our office to New Mexico. We liked the bank in part because we are a global organization and international banking is important. This is now a regular problem and we are moving to a new bank.

Change banks. Wells Fargo is an awful bank. The freedom to choose is what American capitalism is all about. Wells Fargo mismanaged my business account for two years. They changed the rules on my commercial loan, threatening foreclosure of my inventory and receivables even though my payments were on time and I was in complete compliance of the loan agreement. I changed banks and am thankful that I ended the hidded fees that Wells Fargo was assessing me (over $30, 000 in 9 months beyond interest).

Wells Fargo delinquent account for enitre loan

Here is some food for thought and a good reason to think that Wells Fargo Auto is a crock of ###. They should be investigated and be shut down as a lending facility for lack of competence or anybody that even gives a ### or has a god damn clue. People cant even do there jobs and i'm left and stuck fixing peoples ignorant mistakes. I got better things to do than sit around on the phone with you ###s and argue who's right and whos wrong. Let me further explain.
It all started when i purchased the car, a 2004 chevy cavalier, that was financed through Wells and ended up to be the biggest mistake of my life and destroyed my credit! Initially, after i had been driving the car for a couple months i had never received a bill or coupon book which is how people pay their bill most of us, so i had called to find out what was the deal. I found out when i called that they had the wrong mailing address! So after that, i was assured by a representative that everything was to be cleared up and that this matter was over and to be taken care of. Big mistake, another month goes by still nothing. I called again to complain, at this point I still didnt know my account number no nothin! Again, i verified the mailing information and they said it was correct. I waited another month and still nothin! Are you kidding me i couldn't believe it! Folks, at this point my auto payment past due by 90 plus days.
Next, the harrassment started, they told me that i signed a contract stating i would pay $295.82 each month. So i was like well no ### but i had no idea where to send the payment to, no bill, no god damn account information no nothin! Note, i was told that they were sending me a bill each time i called about this very same matter. What a bunch of ###s, cant anyone do there job? What good did it do for me to call? Why should i be blamed? Whos fault is it? Did I not try and resolve this matter? Its not their credit so why do they give a ###. What else should i do? I didnt think that this was that big of a dilemma. Needless to say, this was the start of my past due account that had accrued and continued to be this way since day one. This loan is for 5 and a half years and it is now year 3. I still cant pay my bill on time, between late fees and my high monthly payment it doesn't make it ends meet. I have been threatened by these people for long enough and i'm TIRED OF IT! My credit is screwed. Thank you Wells Fargo Auto.

My problems started in July. I had asked if I could skip a pay for two months and adding it to the back of my loan. I was told I had to be behind before I could do this. I was one day late and I called to ask for the two month extension and I was told to call back to see if it was granted. I phoned and I was told that I didn't meet the criteria for this and I needed to make a payment right away. I was very disappointed because I had just used my car money to pay my portion of her tuition. To be honest I have been told so many different stories by each person that I call. I was granted an extension for one month and I wasn't notified by mail nor was I notified by a phone call. I had to call them to find out it was granted. Even though it was granted I was then two payments behind and I had to go to a check cashing place to borrow money to catch them up. I'm now five days late on my payment and I asked for another extension tonight and I was told that I didn't have a good excuse to extend the payment. What will I do? I hate going to the check cashing places.
When I first started my car loan with them I had the same problems that Mike had, but the customer service was a lot better once I got my payment notices on track. I don't know what to do? Customer service rates a -10 now.

Wells Fargo fraud and scam

I have had the same on going issue with wells fargo auto finance company for about a year now, I have cried and I regret ever choosing wells fargo to finance my vehicle. they have repeatedly added there auto insurance from balboa insurance with out any kind of cancellation notice from my insurer or even from me, there response has been they had not received any new documents so therefore it is added automatically and it is added to my original monthly payment. The first time this happen I submitted the initial dec. page and just assumed as long as i payed my insurance i was fine no reason to worry. WRONG!

2 MONTHS LATER i received my statement ind it showed and extra $125x2=$250.00 that was showing due and 2 months of late fees for not making my entire monthly payment in full, now mind you my payments were $260.00 per month but with the automatic insurance added on with out my knowledge my payments were now $385.00 and they had reported that I had been late to the credit bureaus. Oh and i never received an insurance form showing my coverage, limits or any other info other than the extra charge on my car loan statement and when they do finally receive my proof then they say it will take about 6 weeks to clear up but in the meanwhile they still tack on the late charges and report that only partial payment was made. this cant be legal and how can they get away with charging for insurance they you never see a policy to.

To this day the dings that have been cause by there shady practices are still on my credit there response is that i must dispute them through there dispute department and because if they admit that a mistake has been made over and over again and not just with me but with many others then that would hold them liable for a lot of pain, suffering and the anguish of how little people really do get taken advantage of by the big corporations like wells fargo who employ a legal team and here we are trying to get someone to help us to have a louder voice then theirs... I WANT THEM TO HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT HOW AND WHEN THIS WILL BE TAKEN CARE OF AND WHAT IT WILL COST!

Wells Fargo doesn't have the decency to call

I recently overdrafted my account which happens. I lost trakc of which card I had used for a business expense. Well I put the money plus more into the account once I could. Wells Fargo decided to cancel my bank card. Which isn;t my complaint. My complaint is that they cancelled my card without motifying me. So I am on another business trip knowing I had enough funds to cover my lodging costs but my bank card is declined. This is an embarrassing situation but is even more embarrassing when it is one of your companies hotels. This is the second time they have cancelled my card without notifying me. The first time was due to fraudulent charges on my bank card. Which I believe is a good reason for canceling a card. Once again my complaint is that they didn't notify me. This left me stranded at a gas station. I called their customer service expecting an apology for this inconvenience but alls I received was rudeness. They took no responsibility for the discomfort they caused me. I guess since I accidentally overdrafted my account that makes me a less than worthy customer.
