Also if you are young and hot, you can always work on the streets and sell your body. Just tell your husband you are working which in a way is true.

"I sit here with tears in my eyes wondering what we are going to do next? How are we going to pay the rest of the car payment let alone, rent, gas, elect..and food? LOL whats that?"

You can learn to budget until you get back on your feet. Guess you can sell your car and pay for public transit, it will cost less than the insurance and gas money. You can decide to only buy what you need instead of what you want.

My husband financed a car through Wells Fargo in December 2010. Up until our move in October, we paid more than the minimum monthly payment. In the upheaval of moving, we missed two months' payments, and without warning, Wells Fargo repossessed our car. We paid the fees and got it back, and part of the process was proof of insurance, which we faxed to them...

Wells Fargo incoming wire

For second time I got an incoming wire from Perú (South America) being charged for a fee that never was told before. One year ago, I got another incoming wire from Perú with same problem. Went to the bank and was told that probably was charged in Peru and to investigate the reason they would have to charge me. In Perú the fees for sending money were already paid so the quantity missing was only for Wells Fargo side. Then they said that because the money went to New York and then to Salt Lake City. And no reason why when the international incoming wire goes to San Francisco and not to New York. I passed this lost. Then I decided to make a change with another bank in Peru and with same Wells Fargo here. Again, after paying proper fees in Peru, there's missing in the bank here. So the problem is Wells Fargo. And not only that, but instead of the $ 10.00 free for incoming wire they took $ 16.00, and the amount of the incoming wire was half less than the one last year. I am feeling really disappointed with this bank. Already had taken the money to a credit union since then. And use WF bank only for small transactions. And of course no more incoming wires through this bank. I hope everybody can be aware of the hidden fees that this bank does and try not to work with them about incoming wires from another country..

Wells Fargo pretenders of modification of loan

Wells Fargo pretends to give us a home-mortgage modification... we supplied over 50 pages
of documents...They claim paperwork lost. We sumitted paper work over, & over, It took
many hours, of making sure all the paper work was summitted. This went on for over 2
months, we could never make any live contact, had to call numerous times. Finally, we get a letter, we are denied because paper-work was due 30 days ago, & was not supplied. Wells Fargo are a scam, they are frauding, Tricking
people. Why they even pretend to get these loans done, I do not know. WELLS FARGO IS A SCAM!

Wells Fargo auto repo

I was up to date on the payments on my car, have full auto ins. and Wells Fargo had my car repossessed, this is the 2nd time they have done this, I cant get through to them and I have tried but put on hold for 2-4 hours each time. I plan on just telling them to keep the car and refund all that I have paid, plus interest paid. They are the worst bank I have ever delt with.
Fed up in Wa. State.

Not exaggerating nothing, WFF has a very bad team working for them, and a very low rating by the consumers of this country. Every thing stated are the correct facts, it is dam hard to explain all the mistakes by WFF when so many of them are made by so many different people, and I'm not the only person they have did this to. look I just wrote what happen in the shortest way possible, end of story, take it or leave it.

Yes, they told me it was a "Civil matter" as the repo man had signed papers from WFF
Att. I just received a phone call from the CEOs secretary that a mistake was made "again" and they are looking into this matter. So we will see what plays out today. I have contacted my personal attorney and he said we have a solid case for a lawsuit against Wells Fargo, and he knows that this has been done many times by WFF, we will win the suit, and with treble damages. I dislike all of this drama but sick of WFF screwing with the little guy.
What a world we live in today, no wonder people go off the deep end.

I have called all the phone numbers I could find for help on this matter, I have been put on hold for over 3 Hours ! time and time again, they took my car late Friday night, so there was no way to contact anyone. The tow truck driver gets paid to do this, and if does not he looses that account, and he had the paperwork to do so, so I would not call him an idiot, I would call the Bank the Idiots, they place themselves in a position of Legal action by me, which is going to happen.

Update by Nam Vet 67
Jun 25, 2012 9:29 am EDT

I paid the payments direct to Wells Fargo Bank, 3 days before due date, have the receipt with the date, time and account numbers, the cash went directly into Wells Fargo Bank account. They have done this twice, the first time they said sorry our mistake, this time we are going to start litigation against the Bank, Tow company, and anyone else involved.
Bear in mind this all happened with in 30 days, taken twice. The Tow truck driver told me that Wells Fargo makes this mistake all the time, and he gets paid for doing this very well.

Wells Fargo service charges on student checking

I have been with Wachovia since 2004 and got switched over to Wells Fargo last year. When I had my free student checking account with Wachovia and then Wells Fargo, they assured me that I would never have a service charge on there and would not have to worry about a minimum balance. I logged on yesterday morning to pay a bill, and lo and behold, a $5.00 service charge on my account out of the blue. I ran down to my local Wells Fargo and told them that there was a charge on my account that I was assured would never be on there. He looked at it and told me that I had to have a minimum balance in there or direct deposit. How can I manage that if I'm a college student? I told him I want my money back. He made me fill out a form to see what he could do in 5 days. I went to another bank last night to open up a new account with no service fees and no minimum balance. I will never do business with Wells Fargo again.

A similar thing happened to me with my Wells Fargo Account last year and this year. Last July I was informed by Wells Fargo that a new service fee would be applied come August UNLESS I made some changes in my banking, which would avoid this. I made said changes, and it was avoided. It was going to be a $7.00 fee. UNTIL, 6 months later I logged on to my account online, and there was a $12.00 monthy fee out of nowhere! I called and was told I could get this fee removed if I did some more basic things. And it just annoyed me that they never said a fee was coming soon. They want me to have a large amount in my checking at all times, or pay this fee. It stinks, but for now I am just biting the bullet until I can figure out what to do next. I like to go to the ATM and take out as much in cash as I can now on payday, after my direct deposit. This, just because I don't want my money in there. I just use them to write a few checks. I hate the $12.00 fee. It was just slipped in there. Guess they thought no one would notice, right?

Wells Fargo home mortgage

My wife is starting nursing school and I started a new career within the last 6 months. I had fallen behind on my mortgage 1 month because of the cut in income. I have been getting calls about getting help with our loan from wells fargo and pursued a program they offer with support from the government. They said I didn't make enough money to qualify. DUUUHHHHHH. If I made the amount to qualify for this program then I wouldn't be behind and need this program. Now I will continue to be behind move out of my house and not pay a dime and wells fargo can have my house back and lose tens of thousands on a foreclosure sale. That makes a lot of sense WELLS FARGO!

the unfortunate part is that foreclosure is actually very profitable. Many people are not aware that George Bush supported and passed a bill that pays banks for their "losses" when they foreclose. I remember it well and believe it was somewhere between. 2003 to 05 That's one of the reasons why the crisis started in the first place. It became a massive abuse as they realized they could get paid our tax dollars to take a home, then sell it for added profit. The fact is that they already profit before they re-sell. Try to keep up with their every bad move. I'd bet they've already made plenty of illegal or unethical. Pounce when you catch them, be dilligent, so you can force them to cooperate.

Wells Fargo customer services

I have had pretty much of hardships from these representative in wells Fargo dealer services. I have been requesting a copy of the title to complete my registration in a different state. Its been more than 2 months since I have been running around the stupid suggestions these idiots gave me. Some times they say that they want a request to come from DMV and not me, to fax a copy of the title. Sometime they are OK with me sending the request for a copy of the title in DMV letterhead and sometime they are OK to receive it from me using normal fax. When I follow these instructions they don't react, as the opinion of one rep is not the same as others. Having delayed so much I demanded that I need to speak to supervisor to exactly know the process. Having tried out their useless faxing option I demanded that I need a copy of the title sent to my address. Its been 11 days and my title is still not with me. Wells Fargo always maintains that they have faxed or mailed. But they don't have any proof to substantiate that. When they fax they don't keep a confirmations. Neither their postal mails have a tracking number so that we could track. Trust me..these are the last people on earth who will help anyone. I hate having entrusted my car loan with them. If I had the slightest idea how bad they were I wouldn't have gone to these

Wells Fargo legal processing fee rip off

My son is a disable vet and while he was in the military he became a victim of id fraud, the irs garnished his bank account for taxes not paid, when he called the irs they set him up on a payment agreement and sent a release to wells fargo, they had not received any of the garnishment monies as of yet how ever wells fargo put the money back in the account however they kept 200. 00 as fees. Some one please tell me how i can get my fees back. When i call the legal rip off department i was informed that this is a fee they have and there was nothing that could be done about the monies. These are dollars and cents for taking care of the household and since this has happened we have been in the rears.

Back in June 2014 my whole checking and saving was garnish. A month later after some legal action towards the creditor for trying to take my money the court release my funds. WF legal dept claimed the sent a check on 7/16 and after multiple phone calls to them i was told i had to wait 30 and they can do a stop payment and reissued a new check. I called back on the exact 30 days and did a stop payment and reissued a new check. 2 weeks and 3 phone calls later im still waiting for my 1K+ in the mail. Can someone please tell me at this point who do i need to report about this?

I have a simple question, I have a $250 wage garnishment lien for taxes from the State of Idaho that was sent to Wells Fargo. This is pretty much a secondary account for me with only $20 in there at one point, and -$50 in the account on another time.. So can Wells Fargo charge me $100 even though there is no money in the account to give the State? I called the State and they said the fee is legal as long as funds are collected/paid to the lien. In this case there have been 4 separate $100 charges including to that were placed on my son's linked Teen Checking account. So there has been no funds collected because there was a negative balance at the time the garnishment was requested. Can they do this? Any advice on how to handle this (besides paying the State;) Thanks!~

I don't know if you have had any experiences with other banks but I just stopped by First Bank and they also charge a $100 non refundable fee for levy garnishments. It's the standard fee. If you paid what you needed to or figured it out before hand, you wouldn't be out of $100. It's easy to blame "big banks" for taking your money because it's "ALL THEIR fault" - how about you take some responsibility?

Just an update for you if you are still dealing with this so called "bank"! I just filed a complaint with the National Banking Association because here in Florida Wells Fargo is listed as a national bank. They have accepted my complaint and are starting an investigation into the banks practices. I also found a very strange connection between Wells Fargo and their so called "Legal department". The phone number is connected to a company called Dominion Law Associates and they are a collection company. I think that Wells Fargo is selling their customer's social security numbers to this company so that they can collect any possible debts for a fee. There is also a second company that is part of Dominion Assoc. that is called Sun Financial Alliance, LLC that sells insurance for loans and mortgages. There is absolutely something very "FISHY" going on with these 3 companies and I think VERY ILLEGAL.. I hope this info will help anyone else who is fighting with this bank for the return of THEIR money!

On June 12, 2012 NYS imposed a tax levy on my checking account. When I called Wells Fargo I was told that my account was 93.20 overdrawn. That they were holding $136 for NYS and that they "STOLE" $100 from my account for a processing fee. The deducted their $100 first then gave NYS the balance which was $136. I had two outstanding transactions that overdrew my account by $93.20. THIS IS DISGUSTING AND MAY BE ILLEGAL. I am retired and am living on $715 per/mo social security. After speaking with Wells Fargo, my bank, I called NYS about the levy and explained my situation. They immediately released the hold on my money and faxed the released to Wells Fargo while I was on the phone with them. I was told that the bank had 24-48 hours to return the money to my account. At this time, June 17, 2012 the money is still not returned to my account and the bank has informed me that they "WILL NOT RETURN THE $100 PROCESSING FEE"! How is it possible that NYS cannot touch my social security but Wells Fargo Bank can?I will not be able to pay my electric bill this month because of their abuse and I have spent the entire weekend without ANY money at all because of their inconsiderate attitude. I have filed a complaint with the Banking Commission here in Florida and will file hope to file charges against this bank. THEY SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN AND FINED FOR THEIR ACTIONS!

Wells Fargo bank took lower offer

I submitted an offer on a REO 10, 000 over asking. List price 214, 900 my offer was 225, 000, with25, 000 down After weeks of Wells Fargo coming back with different counter offers. They finally had me sign a counter offer saying, I would have to show proof of funds and that I would buy the house at my offer price even if it did not appraise for my offer price. I signed it and sent it back... Days later my realtor informed me that someone else got the house. I asked if I was out bid. He told me the listing office said they were close but the winning offer had more down. Now why that should matter and does not make sense.. I had 3 approvals from different banks including a required one from Wells Fargo. Well I waited until the house had gone through escrow and checked on what it had sold for. I then found out it had sold for 218, 000. I have sent E-Mails to Mr. Stumpf the CEO as well as the Board of Communications of Wells Fargo. Twice! No response!
I was dealing with Eric Kamp @ C21 Hometown Realty Grover Beach, Ca.[protected].
The listing office was a different office JO Outland Realty I'm not sure of this name but something like that . Eric would know all the details.
Sounds like something is not right ! A under the table deal?

Wells Fargo misplacing money

I have 3 accounts with Wells Fargo and I had to change one of my accounts to another checking account, so I wouldn't have to have a minimum balance. When I did this the person at the bank connected my debit card to a savings account under my mom and my name, they acknolwledged mistake but it wasn't fixed. On top of that, the savings account keeps getting penalized for access spending, but the purchases were supposed to be taken out of checking. I have sat down with the bank manager and talked with him on the phone. He kept saying that he would take care of it and then he started dodging me (Warren Wolfe at the Naamans Road Wells Fargo in Delaware). Yesterday I saw on my account that ANOTHER charge was taken from the savings account. I called the district manager and was told that he would call me today (5/5/12). Still I have heard nothing. I plan on closing the accounts but I wanted to wait until my car insurance came out next week but I think I'm going to have to do something before then. I can't believe this is happening!

Wells Fargo customer service

The problem with Wells Fargo Customer Service/Collection Rep occurred on 5/23/12. The rep was calling about a payment being made b/c the account just got 2 months behind. I told her a payment will be make tomorrow 5/24/12(which payment was made) and I will update her on the next payment. She then began to ask what got me behind. I told her the economy so she said if your working it has nothing to do with the economy. My phone was on red and going dead so the call disconnect. The rep called back after a few min I answered she said since you can't afford to make the payment I am putting your vehicle in for
repossession in a threatening manner because you are not making an arrangement. I stated I just told you that a payment will be made on 5/24/12 and I will update you with the next payment. She then said that is not an arrangement! Well now I'm confused. How dare a customer service rep act like this is their money I personal owe them. I asked to be contacted by a supervisor so we'll see if I have another complaint to go with this or a settlement. Not sure where they are being trained but it is definitely not the proper training. Everyone know GREAT customer service is the new wealth. Treat your with respect it goes along way.

When Wells Fargo was Wachovia I had set an automatic payment amount of $250 which was automatically deducted from my checking each month. I was always able to view this information clearly online, allowing me the option to modify that mount if necessary.

Not that they've switched, my online account information showed consistently that I only owed the minimum payment which was around $70. No where did it show that I was still slated to pay the $250 (that information really should be available online considering how much WF touts paperless transactions) Sure enough, however, they withdrew the $250 and my finances for the month were compromised.

I knew maybe I erred somewhere so gave the Wells Fargo Dealer Services customer service line a call; What a wretched departure from the normal Wells Fargo customer service I am used to.

I have been a WF customer for over a decade and the agent, "Darwin", made me feel like I was some kind of problem customer. Despite the fact that I was not at any time complaining, he made it clear I needed to be scolded about how I was the one who set the $250 amount when I signed the loan paperwork (tsk tsk.) It was totally unnecessary he be such a ### about it. I understand they must deal with a-holes all day long, but not all customers are dirt-bags. I for one felt really insulted. Had I been dealing with a bill-collector, OK, I get the attitude part, but this is a company I pay honest money to every month without fail.

To make a long story short he offered to cancel my auto pay for me. He put me on hold for a minute and came back to confirm he made the change. Throughout the whole conversation he was rushed and terse with me (again, I did not come off like a problem, not even remotely.) I then asked him if I would get an email confirmation of the cancellation, and he replied "Me send you an email? No. I did email the request though... Oh, and you need to send in a fax request." I am not sure he was even going to tell me this before. I asked him if there was a form I needed to fill out that I could find online, and he just said "No, just write something" and gave me the fax number.

Terrible customer service. Really disappointed.

These days companies like Wells Fargo should be even more cognoscente of good customer service, but the Dealer Services department of WF needs some attention.

Wells Fargo Dealer Services...What a joke! We have been attempting to make a payment on our truck loan for 2 months! we have not been able to get through on the phone to make the payment. Yesterday I get a letter in the mail saying that they wanted to make arrangements with us to surrender the truck because we didn't re-affirm the debt when I filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy 7 years ago! We did re-affirm the debt, I have a copy of the paper work in hand and am currently 35 minutes into hold time to talk to someone to shove this letter down their neck! this truck will be paid off in 2 months and I am not going to let them screw us.
In addition to this issue we moved all of our personal accounts out of Wells Fargo bank becuase of very poor customer service, and outrageous fees. Lets all watch as Wells Fargo goes Belly up! I also have called my Bankruptcy attorney, personal attorney, and filed a complaint with the State Attorney generals office.

Sorry but I informed WFDS that my last payment would be late and told when I could make this payment. Transferred to different department. Went through same hassle. Transferred to a different department. Was told that if I did not pay the vehicle on the last payment date that I would suffer the consequences. We are talking of the last payment. Ugly, Ugly people. Old, retired, on SS only and have a sick mate but I got this far to be condemned in this fashion. Granddaughter is buying new car and I told her if it was Wells Fargo financing to run and run fast. Ha, "the economy." They probably wanted to know if that meant your hours got cut at work, or if you're getting less tips, stuff like that. But they're not going to take a vague arrangement that includes an "I'll call you back."

Still, that rep should not have threatened a repo, they could get in trouble for doing that. The higher-ups are the only ones with that authority, and you'll probably never talk to someone that high up on the phone.

Descartes, I do agree with you. But sometimes things do come up in life-as the compllaint I posted about the CS issues I had. My husband had a complete knee replacment and we got behind. Things did work out but you just dont need the CS treating you in that matter ESP. if your falling on hard times.
It's sad that in America the suicde rate is terrible high due to the economy-My heart goes out to the familys that have to deal with loss andt ragedy. It must be really hard for them.

Have a ood evening.

Well gatortracks you have a lot to say/comment about to people that have issues with Wells Fargo or any bank issues. So it sure does seem like your associated with a bank!
Sure they have never called you because you still live with your parents, for free! So when you live for free you can pay this bank and when you have a problem or anything that the rest of us have had to endure and were late or just cant make that months payment mommy or daddy will cover it for you. The rest of us don't have that luxury of living with our parents. We live in the real world-in the USA! Wake up and smell that Camel!

My direct deposits are made through my company on fridays at 12am. Wells Fargo will hold that deposit until late that day and allow debits to go through first before crediting my account with my direct deposit. This in turn can sometimes cause overdrafts and fees charged to my account even when the funds are there. I call and ask and they say that the...

Wells Fargo vehicle value correction request

Issue began in early January 2012 when we received our first vehicle registration bill from DMV with amount due of $1, 181.00 by April 8, 2012. We assumed it was an honest error by DMV so we called but we couldn't seem to explain the issue over the phone so we went in the local office. Here is where we were told that the amount due is correct because our vehicle was valued at +$184, 000.00 at time of purchase which is completely incorrect as our paperwork from dealer shows the actual value agreed to pay. We were then instructed by DMV that we had to contact the finance company and have them correct the error. On January 27, 2012 we faxed a "Title Correction Request" letter to Wells Fargo Dealer Services along with dealer contract showing actual vehicle value (per Wells Fargo instructions) and confirmed fax received on their end. April deadline was quickly approaching and we had not received corrected registration or anything indicating action was taken or requesting further information. On March 27, 2012 we went into local DMV office to pay registration but we were asked to pay $1, 181.00 again so we explained our situation again and the clerk came up with a figure of $207.00 which we paid meanwhile this issue was resolved. After our March 27, 2012 DMV visit, we called Wells Fargo and were assured paperwork requested had been sent to DMV since January 30, 2012. We assumed DMV was still processing correction and decided to wait a little longer and hope to see registration in the mail soon. April deadline passed and we still had not received new paid registration for 2012 so we began making calls to DMV until we reached DMV HQ in Sacramento, CA where they claimed nothing had been faxed or received from Wells Fargo regarding our vehicle plate number. DMV HQ suggested that we call Wells Fargo and have them fax documentation again to their direct fax line which we confirmed. We realized we were getting nowhere which is when we began writing names down. On Thursday April 12, 2012 we spoke with Darlene at Wells Fargo and in a condescending tone she exclaimed she had told us numerous times that our request is handled within 3 business days and to call back until then (as if little over 2 months hadn't been enough time). Not satisfied with Darlene's answer we decided to call again same day and spoke with Christina. She then reaffirmed documents had been sent to DMV since January 30, 2012 but she would email their DMV section since they were gone for the day and instruct them to re-fax paperwork to DMV HQ direct fax line (as provided by DMV HQ themselves) first thing Friday morning. On Friday April 13, 2012 at 3:01pm we spoke to Sherry at Wells Fargo and she confirmed fax had been sent to DMV HQ. We called DMV HQ and spoke with Marie and she said they had been waiting all day for something from Wells Fargo and again nothing had been received. We then decided to call Wells Fargo and figure what the issue was behind the faxes not going thru while simultaneously having both entities on the phone. Paul from Wells Fargo answered our call at 3:30pm and Marie from DMV HQ confirmed to Paul that nothing had been received from them and asked Paul to repeat the address documents were sent to which Marie stated was incorrect and then proceeded to give Paul the correct mailing address along with the direct fax number which Paul confirmed that he had made a note of it but sounded distracted as he simply answered everything Marie said with a cynical "yeah, I got it" as to get done with the phone call to get ready to go home for the day or something like that. This would have been the last of the phone calls to resolve the issue of documentation not being received by DMV HQ but because of Paul's unprofessionalism we wanted to make sure the correct address and fax number for DMV HQ was properly noted. So we called back Wells Fargo at 3:50pm and Chris answered and again we had to explain the entire story to him so to avoid further frustration we asked to speak with their manager/supervisor, after a brief hold Tamika picked up the phone call and identified herself as the Supervisor so we continued to explained the issue once again and we expressed we just wanted to make sure that Paul had noted the correct information for DMV HQ but Tamika stated that there weren't any notes made on our file so far regarding any requests of any type for them to re-fax the documentation requested by DMV HQ and repeated the same incorrect address Paul had stated initially. We then gave Tamika the correct address and had her repeat it back to us to verify that she had actually written it down this time. We also expressed to Tamika that this entire issue has been handled completely unprofessionally by them as we are having to baby sit every step to resolve this issue when we feel they should be the ones who should be proactively trying to resolve this issue since they were the ones who valued our vehicle incorrectly. We called DMV HQ on May 8, 2012 at 9:40am and spoke to Bobbi but unfortunately Marie was on vacation but had not seen any action taken on our vehicle registration so she sent us a temporary permit until Marie got back from vacation. We haven't bothered calling Wells Fargo back until we confirm with Marie at DMV HQ first but we dread that nothing has been received from Wells Fargo and will not know how else to get Wells Fargo to cooperate in resolving this longing issue.

Wells Fargo I will never do any business with wells fargo ever again

I will NEVER do any business with Wells Fargo EVER again. They are the rudest bunch of unpleasant people I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. They are very snotty, over bearing and short tempered. The representatives act as though I am the person who owes them money personally. It is SO unnecessary to behave so callously. What’s worse is that clearly WF enables this behavior. Oh and the obsessive phone calls? WOW…

I purposely changed my phone number and they managed to call me at work, my new job that I didn’t give the number out to anyone. I have told them repeatedly to not call me at work and they say the same thing: “Well that’s not in the notes of your account” Interesting how NONE of the people I talk to are able to be found and there aren’t ever notes in my account. Just because I owe money doesn’t mean I deserve to be talked to so rudely.

One time, very calmly I finally just asked the girl why she was being SO rude to me. It was really unnecessary to talk to me as she was. She had the nerve to say WHILE talking over me that that was my opinion and she can say what ever she wants. ARE YOU SERIOUS! This is the worse company ever. I will always be the person to talk negatively about them and have encouraged many of my friends and family to not do business with them.

I agree Wells Fargo does not want to work with people who are having money problems. I had my hours cut at work due to the recession and also had a lot of medical bills I called Wells Fargo Dealer Services and explained my situation of why I could not make the payment on my car at the time and the woman I talked to was very rude and snotty. They would not refinance me or defer my payments until I could get back on my feet. They are crooks!

Wells Fargo they are very rude and unprofessional

I received a notice that my account was past due. I checked my bank account and saw that all recent payments have been sent and deducted from my account. I checked my wells fargo account online and realized that a payment sent from my bank had never been credited to my auto loan account. I sent an inquiry to my bank. They tried to contact wells fargo but were refused. I then called wells fargo to see why they would not talk to my bank. They said I had to have my bank research on their end. I explained that a part of the banks process was to contact the receiving vendor to verify non receipt of the funds.

They then told me that I could only make a payment to bring the account back current and suggested that I make all future payments to their website directly. I replied that I would make my payments how I chose and asked to speak to someone who had the authority to authorize wells fargo to speak with my bank. He then hung up on me. They are very rude and unprofessional. The worst part is that it seems to be a company wide problem as opposed to an isolated incident. Never again!

I am dealing with the same thing right now. They lost my payment. I have proof from my bank that my payment was made, but for some reason that isn't good enough. They said until they know where the money is they aren't crediting my account. I figured out that the payments was made to an old account ( Wells Fargo Bank ) they are now "Wells Fargo Dealer Services". They said they can't get into that account so there is no way of knowing for sure that is where the money is, even though my bank (US Bank ) has told them that is the account they paid it to. In the mean time I am one month behind and the late fees are stacking up with interest. They has been going on since Jan. of this year. I don't know how this is even legal?

Wells Fargo loan modification scam through wells fargo

I got a loan modification through Wells Fargo one year ago. It was interest rate reduction that was only good for 4 years and then it would begin to go up again. Although it was not a fun year of me sending info and complying with every thing they asked for, I was very grateful to have received their blessing with a loan modification. I’m a little underwater with our mortgage now and I called Wells Fargo in October 2011 and inquired about REFINANCING and what I need to do to make that happen. They told me that I could apply for another loan modification if I wanted to. I was surprised but I said I’d like to do that.

When I spoke to the woman that had been assigned to my case I told her that I already had one loan mod and I was happily surprised that I was qualified to apply again. I spoke to this woman at least 15 times since October and sent every bit of documentation that they asked me to submit. Finally, today she called asking for some 1099 forms from last year and I asked her if she received the last fax I sent her. When she returns to the phone she told me that the underwriter just informed her that my investor will only give ONE loan modification for the life of the loan. My contention is that Wells Fargo should not have suggested to me that I could apply for a second loan mod if I could never get it.

I wasted over four months of my time and a small amount of money in hiring an online fax company to deliver all the useless paperwork that I submitted. I spent a lot of time and effort to give them each thing that they had required of me. It took a lot of time to keep up with all the requests that I got from them. She was always pleasant, as was I during the whole useless process. But I certainly “lost it” with her and her supervisor at this point today. I’m so angry at that ###ing Wells Fargo now. This is the third property I’ve bought through them. They now inform me that it’s NOT Wells Fargo that has loaned me the money, it’s some other company and they weren’t aware of their particular policies concerning a second loan mod.

I NEVER called them inquiring about a 2nd loan modification. THEY are the ones that suggested it and took me completely off course only to find out months later that I was never entitled to a 2nd loan modification. Do you have any suggestions for me ?
