This review was chosen algorithmically as the most valued customer feedback.

While purchasing another product I was offered a 2 week free trial of wellness watchers MD. I was told I would receive an email with all the information on how to access the site etc. I never heard or received anything from them until they took $59.00 from my bank account. After contacting them they sent me a paper to fill out for a refund stating that I should have received an email, a letter through the mail and several phone calls to see how I was doing with my free trial. I never received any of these things and now I am getting the run around with my refund.

Please call me at [protected] so I can fix this for you. My name is Charity, and my hours are 10am-6pm Central Standard Time. WellnessWatchersMD sent out over $1 million in rebate checks so far this year. That’s over 20, 000 checks. There were definitely some mistakes, and we’re trying to find everybody now. If you qualified and you still haven’t received your check, I’m authorized to send you one immediately.

Please call me at [protected] so I can take care of this for you right away. My name is Charity, and my hours are 10am-6pm Central Standard Time. Personally, I think that WellnessWatchersMD is a pretty good deal, or I wouldn’t work here. They send out thousands of $25 gift cards and $50 rebate checks every month. They also help hundreds of people with their Ask-the-Doctor service. If you were charged by mistake, I am authorized to give you a refund.

I ordered a lip plumper from Wellness Watchers MD online and it said free trial. Conveniently enough they neglect to tell you the price of the item DOES get charged to your card and then you have to wait for a rebate check to then make it a "FREE" trial. Unfortunately, I mailed my rebate form on April 29th 2009 and they confirmed reciept of it on May 6th 2009. They say on their website that it takes 4-6 weeks to process which means I should have recieved my rebate no later than June 17th 2009. It is now July 23rd 2009 and I have not recieved any rebate! I spoke to someone for the third time this morning via instant chat and they ASSURED me AGAIN that they are escalating it to their corporate offices so they can then expedite a rebate check to me which take another 2-3 weeks for processing. That puts it to August 17th 2009 now IF and I repeat IF they really follow through. Seems to me that this is a bit of a scam when they claim 4-6-weeks for a check and it is looking like 14 weeks IF and I repeat again IF I really recieve it. Also, conveniently enough there is no contact information for their corporate offices, they just keep putting contact to their regular customer service number and say to ask for a supervisor, and what proof is there of that. I would tell anyone looking into this website to purchase anything or get a "FREE" trial to be very careful. Research before you agree to anything. I will be back in three weeks to post whether or not I recieve my rebate.

I never received my rebate, as well. I just looked into it, and it was "never received." I"m just lucky that I can afford this, but it's still a rip-off!

robert with wellnesswatchersmd, let me address this to you directly. your rebate instructions page states that within 1 business day of the purchase of the teeth whitener, that you will send the customer a welcome e-mail that will direct them to the members-only website to complete their free wellness assessment. THIS IS A LIE BECAUSE NEVER DID YOU SEND THE E_MAIL. When the product arrived in the mail, there was no further mention of the rebate and or how to obtain it. On the wellnesswatchersmd website, there are no information on how to recieve the 'free' wellness assessment without first paying you 29.95.
like others, I went ahead and paid you the 29.95 believing i can cancel and get both my rebate and refund money back. yes, it does say that i can cancel and get my 29.95 but you say nothing on the same page about your phoney 'rebates cannot be combined with refunds' script that john and others at your company is so quick to point out. again, like others who have fallen for this scam, by the time you find the so-called rebate form, you are already out the money. this is a ploy to trap people's money so as to later claim that 'rebates cannot be combined with refunds'. i don't even believe there is any such thing as a members-only website where you can get a 'free assessment', because i believe it is the same site where I paid you 29.95.
even your Terms of Use page says you will issue my rebate plus refund my money. this are all lies because you have done neither to date. so, stop telling people that your company is anything other than what people already believe from europe to asia to the us where they have been scammed by your company

I returned the rubbish lip gloss and got my money back. They still tried to put a charge for shipping on my card today so I have cancelled my card.

Just called the number off their website, as well as the number on my cc statement. I got pretty loud with them, and supposedly they are refunding all of the charges. I ordered the Celebrity teeth whitener and stupidly got involved with this scam. I DID retain the cancellation form which they did email me, and faxed it in. They have "no record" of my previous cancellation. It indeed is a scam as Matt D pointed out, particularly in light of the auto-enrollment action that is not clarified well. I also called my cc company, and they are investigating the charges. Wellness WMD, was quite fearful of the term "fraud, " and questioned me about that. Hmmmmm. And just an aside - Aaron from Austin - do you just sit at your computer looking for sites like these to tell us about our foibles? Get a life.

Oh my gosh. I wish I had found this page sooner! I just spent my 50 dollars recently on the lip pout and I spent yesterday haggling them about a refund since according to my statement, it has'nt been sent yet. They refused and said I had to wait a couple days till after they send it to my house, then when it arrives I have to send it back to them for the refund! Why can't they just simply cancel the order and save their own dang money from sending it to me in the first place?! This is going to be probably one of the last times I ever order anything online-especially with the fear of credit card identity theft! I'm keeping a close eye on my accounts!

Now as far as effectiveness of the products, Ive heard two different stories on different blog sites. If anyone could help me confirm which is the real deal(or neither) I heard 'sexy pout' is better than the 'sexy lip' and that 'sexy lip' is the real rip-off.
Other than that, thank you for posting this stuff. Im already making the call to cancel my wellnesswatchersMD subscription(I wasn't in the system yet when I called yesterday so they couldn't). I wish the rest of you the best of luck!

By the way, does anyone know how long the product takes to get to your house after your order?

DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS WEBSITE! i made a mistake when purchasing the crappy lip plumper, i only researched the product, not the company selling the product! they said they would refund the product and its like pulling teeth to get anyone on the phone!

i can only advise readers to not make any purchases from this company because its a huge SCAM! i wish i found this page before i lost $155 to this company!

Why dont you try looking in your paperwork for their phone number? You were able to google this website so try googling wellnesswatchersmd.com Call their customer service. Or call the number on your Credit card statement. The 50$ rebate was available for download on the Celebrity teeth website.

I agree this site and business are deceptive for the following reasons: 1) consistent number of complaints of not receiving emails with details and confirmation info 2) promotion of the Celebrity Teeth Whitening Product that makes receiving the $50 rebate overly difficult 3) auto-enrollment feature that is not disclosed to public in a clear manner.

AVOID THIS SITE AND ITS PRODUCTS.

Ordered Celebrity Teeth White which I thought was a $4.95 trial. When I received my order confirmation email, it said I was charged over $55.00. I immediately followed the instructions to log into Wellness Watchers MD and cancel my auto-recurring VIP membership. I guess there was some fine print I didn't read, but they didn't go out of their way to make me aware of this charge. I did have to mail a form for $50.00 rebate (which I received today). I don't think there have been any more charges, but I'll be watching my credit card statements in the future for anymore "ionline order" entries. I am super happy I got my $50 back and the tooth whitening stuff wasn't bad. If I didn't feel so scammed (or alarmed that a tiny 4.7mL tube cost $55.00) then I probably would have continued to be a customer. So, caveat emptor or not, they lost another customer because of shady/deceptive business practices. Buyer beware!

Well I'm the 38th one then...my checking account just got charged $99 illegally w/ no authorization on my part! I'm so friggin pissed off right now it's not even funny...I ordered ONE item from these people about 2 months ago for 49.99 and under NO circumstances did I join any sort of "club" or "membership" as they're claiming I did. Now they're stating that I'm a "member" of their club and they'll send me samples every 3 months for $99! I just went online and supposedly canceled my order, and plan on going to the post office today to return what never should've been shipped to me in the first place!

I couldn't agree more with ALL of the above. I just got off the phone with one of their representatives "rick". I followed all instructions complete with canceling WHEN I was supposed to, but to no avail...now the rebate, which I was also calling about "supposedly" has been received on "their end" (why the hell wellness watchers had to receive my rebate first is beyond me), but they had charged me 29.95 for their frickin enrollment BS...when I said I wished to dispute that charge, he said if you do, no rebate. I'll either credit you back your 29.95 and keep the rebate, or send you your rebate and you eat the charge. I then asked if Wellness Watchers was a member of the better business bureau. Response? Um...I don't know. I said probably NOT because of business practices like this. Shameful company, horrible practices, and the whole practice left a BAD taste in my mouth. I'm going to go a step further and cancel the credit card I'd used with my "ionline order", because I don't want them to have ANY of my information. Good luck to anyone who's been bitten by the BS company. (and to the "manager"? use spell check. Your post was deplorable).

I experienced the same as Donna. Firstly, the teeth whitner stinks, doesn't work. Then I was enrolled with wellnesswatchersMD, without my permission. I was able to cancel rather quickly on line. But my visa was charged$54.98, where is the rebate? There was no free trial! When I tried to call the 800 #, it was disconnected! I just hope they don't continue to send me that junky teeth whitner. This is a true scam.
I should have known...free is NEVER free!

THIS RObert guy is a fraud as well as all the others working @ wellwatchersmd.
The company is very well known to the FBI and thanks to me also to the IC3, Federal Trade Commission, BBB, ALL major credit bureaus and all Consumer alert agencies.
Besides, FRAUDULENTLY, charging people bogus charges on their credit and debit cards, they also use given credit and personal info of the same people for various other scams.
The company's domain is listed with a bogus Proxy registration internet outfit. Their given address is bogus, their location is bogus and the only thing that is working is their 800-number. It's a tiny room with lots of little telemarketers in it that do nothing but trying to scam people for credit data that can be sold.
Their service is a SCAM and please make sure that you report your experiences all over the net with anyone that listens.
This country needs to clean its economy from such ###.

MAKE SURE NOT TO GIVE THEM ANY PERSONAL INFO or you'll be sorry! They NEVER-NEVER-NEVER-EVER pay out any REBATES.
They just claim they do, but no 'actual' rebate checks or credits have ever been issued.

I hope the FBI will get to them soon. I wish I knew someone on TV to get this criminal company on the air.

They got me too, for $59.00. looked at my credit card statment and saw the rediculous charge. I called them and cancelled their "2 week trial membership" they said they would sent me an email with a form to fill out for a refund...we will see if that does anything to return my stolen money...at least it feels like they pulled a scam on me. This company is associated with www.orexis.com, which offered me a discount shipping charge if i checked the box for a "free" two week trial of www.wellnesswatchers.com... turned out to not be so free after all. Word of advice to all- Be very carefull with giveing out your credit card info over the internet, REAd ALL THE FINE PRINT before athorizing anything, and if it sounds too good to be true...it aint true...nothing is ever "FREE" Good luck all, i hope i get my money back, and all who feel my pain!

Don't feel bad everybody. They took me for over $13o on the very same scenerio. It was through a company called Barton Publishing. Maybe the two are running a scam together. It won't do you any good to dispute the charges because it was on a trial membership. As everyone has said they recieved no e mail and Wellness just quietly took our money and provied us nothong for the service. It's outright dishonest places like this that don't belong operating at all. Let's all hope they end up on a street corner holding up card board signs that say, " will work for food or something." It s only fitting. If you find a charge call them right away and cancel. Then if they charge you it can be desputed and taken to higher authority. Who knows it may just bring them down. Wouldn't that be nice! Take care all.

Oh my gosh...I just fell for this one as well. My bad for not reading the ultra fine print, but what the? Saw an ad for Celebrity Sexy Pout (http://www.lip-plumper-reviews.com/) displayed on my local news station Web site. Thought I would try the product for $4.99 shipping and ended up being enrolled in a "VIP Awards Program" to the tune of $99.99. Included in my purchase was the $50 rebate plus FREE membership in WellnessWatchersMD for two full weeks! WOW! Pay only $2.99 today. Have to call to cancel, otherwise the monthly fee of $29.95 will be charged to my card. I NEVER GAVE THEM MY CARD NUMBER! Ended up calling the fraud department at my bank and cancelling my card altogether. What a pain in the @ss. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM.

The person above me needs to learn to read the link that says TERMS AND CONDITIONS before checking the little box next to it. It clearly says that you will receive a 2 week free trial with the website, and they give you a $50 rebate on the item, which makes it pretty much free. It says EVERYTHING you are complaining about, and pretty much makes you look stupid.

The EXACT same sort of thing happened to me. I just sent out a refund request and will wait to see if that ever comes through (along with the $50 rebate I was promised).
I disputed it directly through my bank and they said if I my refund is not honored, they will refund it for me, so I suggest you all do the same. Basically this is all just a huge hassle for some stupid lip gloss that doesn't even work (celebrity sexy lips lip plumping gloss= terrible). This is a huge scam and it will make me check check-up on products BEFORE I purchase online next time.

I, too, have had problems with this 'company'. I ordered a product that offered a rebate with a free trial of Wellness Watchers MD. Got the product, got the bill, have never seen a rebate. I was told I would get an e-mail containing the info on the rebate. The only e-mail I received was one welcoming me to WW MD. I sent them an e-mail asking where the rebate info was and have never received it. Now I am going to try to call the 800 number provided to get out of this mess. Probably won't get the rebate (a little over $50.00 bucks) but have learned a valuable lesson.

Robert, One other thing. Very sneaky, I agreed to a "free" 30 day supply and only pay S&H of $4.99. Immediately when the receipt comes up with the charge of $54.98, the red warning signs went off! Very sneaky, unethical business practices!

Robert, I hope that this is true because I have just received your Celebrity Tooth Whitener yesterday. After reading all of these complaints against your company I am very leery. I already emailed and cancelled the VIP membership (which I originally knew nothing about!) and now I will vigilantly watch my credit card. As I have stated in my emails to Wellnesswatchersmd that if I see any unauthorized charges I will not hesitate to contact the BBB and legal authorities.

They got me too. Everyone BEWARE! I've been checking message boards and it seems there are several websites, scams, cross links, and sharing of personal and financial information. I'm wondering if these scamwads are using a commercial link to obtain cc information. WebMD is a site where people post their medical problems. I used to check in on it all the time-got a bad back. I don't touch that site anymore, along with so many others. They got me on the Celebrity Bright teeth whitening crap popping up as advertisement hiding under other things you click. How the credit card info is readily available to these morans is somewhat of a mystery to me, but I hope it's not passed on by online banking, ebay, or unidentified shareware cropping up while doing something on your computer which allows access to embedded personal files. I'm guessing at all of this, but it's deeper than just a few folks. Thousands are being scammed day by day from different sources, but always by the same Wellness WatchersMD crap.
I called BBB, FTC, the 3 credit bureaus and if I can get my money back this time, I'm getting a re-issue on all my cr. cards. I've already lost my job and pulling from my IRA with penalty after penalty for early withdraw, I certainly don't need another scam sucker making it worse.

I found three seperate charges totalling $69.80 from this bogus company. I have no idea what service they provide, nor do I care, as I never gave my card # to them. They leeched it off another offer I did sign up for, but I did not accept any charge from THIS company, and have received nothing from them. Is this how you do business, seriously?

I found myself enrolled in WWMD by responding to a teeth whitener offer which had a rebate offer and a 30-day return policy. The rebate process is a big game, so while you're waiting on that the 30 day trial period goes by. Plus, they immediately put a charge on your credit card ($1.83 in my case) for sending the rebate.

Call them? Prepare for a long-winded announcement and several minute wait.

I called to cancel and was told that was not possible as the systems were down. They promised to call me when the systems were back up. Guess what.

I was also unexpectly charged with $59. Like the others I had never heard of it. I called and got the monthly fee (for what I don't know)cancelled and was promised a refund if I faxed to them a signed sheet. I did receive the form and faxed back but as yet do not have the refund. I also have a charge from a WC Value of $19.95 that I am checking on.

I ordered something off the internet 3 days ago, all to find out it was a scam, 5 minutes after I bought the product! I then cancelled the charges right away. Today (3 days later) I find a charge of ($1.83) out of my bank account for a company called "Wellness Watchers MD". I then called them spoke to a man who called himself "The Customer Service Manager" ~ Luis Gauge. Since when do managers answer phones like that? Anyhow, he told me it was related to the order I purchased, that I must have checked a box when I was ordering (which I know I did not)...i'm extremely skeptical and realize that there are companies like "Wellness Watchers MD". He then said how they were just baout to take out $49.99 from my bank account (quarterly) and that the $1.83 they took out was for processing fees. I told him I wanted it back since they were scamers, unethical and disgusting to rob people and not even admit it! He was the most PATHETIC, uneducated "Manager" I've ever spoken to. Luis Gauge said thereis no way I can ever get that money back, I then told him i'm writing this "Dr. Friesen" to let him know how his company is being run! Fight this company...it's disgusting to know how much money they have taken out of people's accounts and they don't even realize! Apparently this man does not care for his job because ~ I just threatned it!

I've been sick for the past week with a terrible cold so I haven't been online. I turned on my laptop to check my email to find a confimation of an order that I didn't even place from Wellness Watchers MD. I've never even heard to these people. How did they get my credit card information? This is a scam as far as I'm concerned and I certainly plan to contest this charge!
