Weight Watchers International discrimanation

The most shocking thing happen to me when I went into Weight watchers in Hesperia CA, seeking employment with the company. When I ask were they hiring, the lady looked me up and down before she answered and she reply to me no. She then went on to say that I would have to pay and go through their weight loss program and become a succes story before I would even be considerd to work there because of my weight. I was so shock that she said that. Here is a company that I have been familuar with since I was child, I could not beleive what she was saying to me.

This makes no sense. This most likely against the law. If a person sees a therapist say as an example, for shop lifting and then uncovers this behavior of acting out is coming from being molested as a child, is it required that the therapist must have also been molested and had a shop lifting problem? No, we check where they went to school and how many years practicing etc... We see if our insurance plan is taken by the therapist.

Jenny Craig has a training program for their employees. You don't have to had a weight problem to be hired. What is required is intelligence, compassion and a decent work history/resume. If Weight Watchers is so intent on hiring only members who have paid for their program then don't list any positions for hire on their web sites. Simply hire current members and hope their education and resume gives them the additional skills needed to be a receptionist or team leader. A person could have issues in another area, be working through them in therapy and/or 12 step program but if it not weight issues, they are not even considered for any employment at Weight Watchers?! This seems very unfair and may be against the law. In these tough economic times this is not good behavior. Again they should stop listing any jobs on their websites, when they are trying to recruit new over weight people that may or may not get a job down the road. Weight Watchers appears to discriminate against those without a weight problem who dealt with these issues without them or if the person has never had a weight problem at all. Jenny Craig does not do this.

I do hope she told you in a nice way. However, WW does require their employees to be a lifetime member to work for them. It is not discrimination as you see it. You have to know how to work the program to be able to answer and help people. If you are over weight, what would a new member think? You are telling me how to lose weight but you are not a roll model? See what I'm saying? Also, what would you tell a person that was eating their daily points but no extra points, exercising 6 days a week but not losing weight? You have to have been there or know WW policy to be able to help.

Shocked or not, she is correct. If you want to work in the meeting room you are required to have lost weight thru WW. How else would you be able to present the plan. Get a clue, okay?

Weight Watchers International no refund

January of this year I signed up for a 17 week weight watchers program with my job. I only attended two meetings and then I left my job. The total cost of the 17 week program was $186.00 I wrote three checks for $62.00 for myself and three checks for the same amount for my aunt. I requested a refund saying I no longer worked there I was told I could get $133.00 back and this was minus a processing fee. I got a check from weight watchers in the mail for $91.00.

I was told by the meeting instructor that my aunt needed to email her so she could also get a refund, because my aunt only attending a few meetings also. The very same day my aunt emailed the instructor and told her she would like a refund. The instructors emailed me and my aunt saying that my aunt wasn't eligible for a refund because she hadn't left the job and there was only a few other reason why they would give a refund,

My problem is they deposited all three of the checks I wrote for my aunt and the last one was bounced. My bank charged me $18.00, then they turned around and a week later they deposited the check again (On my Payday!) They took out the $62.00 plus a $30.00 returned check fee. They took $92.00 out of my account for a program that neither me nor my Aunt has a attended in weeks. I don't remember them telling me about a no refund policy if you quit or them giving me a paper with that policy on it because If I had known I would have never signed up.

When I do the math I figure Weight Watchers took $402.00 from me and only refunded me $91.00. That's two memberships fees of $186.00 = $372.00 + $30 returned check fee = $402.00 and if I subtract the $91.00 they refunded that leaves $311.00. To me that is a whole lot of money for a program I didn't even attend half of, or my aunt. I'm very disappointed in Weight Watchers and I have joined several times and never had this problem, I will never ever join their program again and I plan on complaining on every website I can, and tell everyone I know about this because it's just not fair for them to not refund a consumer for a program they are no longer attending.

Very Very Upset Consumer!

I am sure they will reverse it for you. Once you sign up for the free trial it automatically lets you on the online ww program. It is kind of confusing.

Weight Watchers International online scam

I am a online user experience expert reviewing weightwatchers.com for an upcoming blog article. I signed up for the free 7 day trial to conduct the review.

I clicked the free trial button and was redirected to a sign up page. I didn't see anything about a free trial so I went back to the previous page and clicked the free trial button again. The website landed me back on the same sign up page.

So I assumed I was signing up for the free trial and continued through the flow. When I came to the credit card entry form I assumed my card would be charged at the end of the seven day trial or at the least the funds be refunded when I canceled.

After I completed a my usability review of the website I clicked on the cancel account link. I also sent a cancellation email to the customer service department.

An agent named 'kelle' with weight watchers online accounting department responded to let me know that my credit card was charged $65.00 and that I would only be receiving an $18.10 refund. So my two-hour 'free trial' actually cost $46.90.

The agent was not at all concerned when I told her that I clicked on the free trial link and canceled after only 2 hours. Instead of addressing a significant error in the user interface, she referred me to the 10 page legal agreement I was supposed to read during sign up.

After a bit more research I learned that weight watchers online has an unsatisfactory record with the bbb of new york and has had 43 complaints in the last 12 months! I also found many more users complaining about this very same issue in various forums.

Weight watchers online baited me with a free trial offer on their website. I signed up under this pretense. The fact that they immediately invoked the legal agreement without addressing an obvious problem on the website leads me to conclude that this is a deliberate bait and switch technique employed by what I believed was a trustworthy brand.

In my opinion this despicable practice constitutes blatant online fraud. I will do everything in my power to make sure that weight watchers online is investigated by the new york attorney general's office.

I have just been scammed by WW online. I signed up and within the hour of trying to figure it out, realized it was going to be beyond my computer skills & tied to cancel. They were willing to give me $5.95 back of the $53.85 I'd originally paid. What a scam & and from a company I'd trusted from using it years ago. Boy, times have changed!

I am also having an issue. I signed up for a 3 month online plan and decided within the hour that it wasn't workable for me. It was confusing and I did not want to continue so I canceled immediately. They emailed me back saying of the $54 charged, I was only entitled to $5.95 refund, even not using it at all and canceling immediately. This is absolutely a scam and my opinion of Weight Watchers has changed from positive to completely negative. I am also contacting my Attorney General's office and the Better Business Bureau.

Weight Watchers International free trial is a bait & switch!

I was doing a tech review of the new weightwatchers.com. I clicked on the FREE TRIAL button to sign up for free for seven days. The site redirected me to the first page of the sign up flow. I didn't see anything about a free trial. I clicked the back button and clicked the FREE TRIAL button once more and was once again redirected to the same sign up page.

At this point I assumed I was signing up for the free trial and contined through the flow. When I came to the credit card entry form I assumed my card would be charged at the end of the seven day trial or at the least the funds be refunded when I canceled.

BUT weightwatchers.com is REFUSING to honor the free trial and won't refund my $65.00.

Kelle, the customer service representative (via email only) was not at all concerned that the FREE TRIAL link landed me on the normal sign up page. She only responded by saying that I agreed to their five page legal agreement.

In my opinion, this is a deliberate BAIT AND SWITCH technique employed by what I believed was a trustworthy brand.

Ironically I am a user experience expert so this kind of thing really hits a nerve with me. This is a despicable business practice that should not be tolerated. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau, the New York Attorney General's office and filing as many complaints as I can.

Same thing happened to me. Thank you for posting. If WW really wanted to offer a "free" trial, they wouldn't have requested a credit card to begin with. This is really upsetting as I should have known better. But I trusted the Weight Watchers name and thought that they would honor my request for a full refund. However, they only gave me $18.10, which means, they kept my $46.90.

Weight Watchers International ill treatment at weight in

I started the new momentum program through weight watchers in December. I came down with the flu and missed one of my meetings. Though they do not provide you a missed weeks book my meeting leader allowed me to have that book as my mother and I are each others support. Tonight I went to a different leaders meeting - and what was suppose to be an exciting and celebrating moment for me turned into a reprimand and harassing situation. This leader snapped at me and said that “it was not company’s policy to provide me with a book for a meeting that I had missed” and that “In the future I will have to learn that they will not do that for me and I have no right to expect it to be done.” As I stood there dumbfounded- especially since I was excited that I had finally lost weight after struggling for 3 weeks I apologized and stated that I had inquired at one of the other meetings and was informed that it was okay. She replied again that “I was wrong for asking and that in the future they will not be doing that for me and that I should not have asked.” There was no congratulations on my weight loss only a 5 minute reprimanding conversation where I was left feeling very bitter towards weight watchers and I was treated with no respect or dignity. I’m paying consumer of the Weight Watchers program and was treated in a manner that no one deservers.

Wow that is strange. At my meeting if you miss a week you won't get two books at the next meeting but you will get the missed one, and then just continue on from then. Sorry it was like that. Just go to a different meeting. Congrats on your loss btw, I am about to become a lifetime member in 2 weeks!

Weight Watchers International cancelled but credit card charged

Subscribed to weight watchers online sept. 22, 2008 for their free 7-day trial because that was the only way to view their website. On sept. 29, 2008, I cancelled before midnight of the 7th day according to their terms for cancelling, yet they charged my credit card for $65 saying that their automatic billing date would have been the day before. Grrrr since that wouldn't have given me 7 days free, I don't see how they think they can get away with this. Help!

I subscribed to WW and charged the monthly pass to my account, I was never told this was a recurring monthly charge and was never mailed my monthly pass card. They are crooks, they continued to charge me for 9 months but will only reverse 3 months. I think this is a scam, never use your debit card or credit card with them...CASH ONLY!

WHEN WW CHANGED THEIR FORM OF LISTING MONTHLY WEIGHT FOR ME AS A LIFETIME MEMBER, I FORGOT THE NEW BOOKLET BECAUSE IT WAS A CHANGED FORMAT, AND REALIZED LATER I LOST THE NEW BOOKLET. I WAS CHARGED $10.00. THIS IS AN UNFAIR PRACTICE SINCE I WAS NOT TOLD IF I LOST IT, I WOULD BE CHARGED. KATHY, AT THE SENIOR CENTER IN COLUMBUS, OHIO ALSO TRIED TO CHARGE ME $10.00 AT THE TIME I FORGOT TO BRING THE BOOKLET IN TO THE CENTER. IS THIS THE POLICY ON THE FIRST TIME THE BOOKLET WAS FORGOTTEN. THIS NEVER HAPPENED TO ME BEFORE AND IT SEEMED UNFAIR. PLEASE LET ME KNOW

I have worked for WW as a leader for over 5 years (lost 57 lbs by the way) and have NEVER found any member to have a problem canceling their monthly pass or monthly charge.

The 800 number has provided service each and every time. [protected]. If they are not treating you right...I want you to email ME!

I signed up for WW Online simply to try it. Their website says that your card wil not be charged during the 7 day trial period, but mine was charged on day two. This did not contribute to my overall good feelings about the company, and I decided to cancel on day five, well within the seven days. I did this by email. I rec'd an email back saying I was not...

Weight Watchers International false advertising

I got on the web site to join the Weight Watchers free trial they show on TV. I never saw anything about the free week, but I thought I would get it when I signed on. After taking all my info it went to pages about what type Weight Watcher did I want, I had no idea so I decided this was not for me ( keep in mind this is all less than 5 min into the signing). I hit the button to cance and I got a email saying no refunds. The amount they charge my card for the free trial was $46.90. I wrote them 3 times explaining to them I was wanting to try the free week but it just was to confusing to me so I canceled and they said they would give me a free week when they renewed my next month fee. I told them all tolal I was on the web site less then 5 min and did not see anything about the plans they said sorry no refunds. I may not know a lot about the online system, but this is not right to charge me for this. I could under stand if I copied all their stuff and then wanted to cancel, BUT I DID NOT. Thanks for letting me complain it seems like everything on the enternet is a scam.

I too joined thinking it was free and was totally confused about how to use the site and I didn't have a cell phone with internet to help me through the day so I cancelled within 15 minutes. Also was told they will not refund me my 56.95. I am contacting my State attorney in Oregon to file a consumer complaint. Maybe if they get enough of them they will discontinue their sneaky practices.

Weight Watchers International unauthorized charges

I joined Weight Watchers the end of January 2007. I signed up at a meeting and decided to purchase a monthly pass ($39.95 for 2 months) and a starter kit for $25.00. I gave them my credit card number because this is the only way you can do the monthly pass. On Feb. 14, 2007 my cc was charged $39.95 for Feb/Mar dues. Then on Feb. 23, 2007 my cc was charged $64.95 (for what I don't know - I'm assuming more dues and the starter kit).

On Mar. 27, 2007 I canceled my membership because I had attended only 2 meetings and I knew if I didn't cancel it then they would continue to bill me. I got the confirmation on account cancellation through my email and assumed that all was well.

Oh no, on May 4, 2007 my cc was charged another $64.95. I have tried over and over to get this resolved and they don't respond. I left a voice mail and no one returned my call. I have emailed them about 10 times and I always get a response that has nothing to do with the overcharge just 'as per your request we have canceled your membership'.

To this date I have been charged $169.85. Pretty expensive for 2 meetings. I don't know what to do at this point except maybe do a charge reversal on my credit card. Be careful before giving them your cc number for monthly pass. When they make a mistake, it's a nightmare.

Weight Watchers International degrading

I have a closee relative that joined weight watchers and the weigh in 2woman are very mean. And the leader was spoken to about them! This woman is over weight and needs support not to be degraded and feel unwanted and ashamed! Shew couldn't afford to even join but her self esteem is so low and conscianous so MUCH! She is so discouraged! These women there are all skinny and look down on my relative. They're snappy at her! Give orders to her! My relative wanted to walk out! She felt very embarrarased! Her friend went and spoke to the leader about it! My relative hads a very hard time sticking up for herself! She's sooo down on her weight problem ands doesn't need this kind of treatment that she pays for!The leader is nice, but these weigh in women are very MEAN! Something needs to be done! If they do not have a weight problem then they will not be supportive! I certainly hope you will solve this problem! The meetings are Tues's @ 4:30-6:15 @ thr Comfort Inn @ Suites in St. Johnsbury, VT. Thank-you for your time and help! I look forward to hearing from you when this is solved!

@ confused... If you have never used a washing machine, how can you tell me how to use it? Meeting room staff members KNOW the program because they LIVE the program. One of the selling points is that we have all been on that side.

Im sorry to hear about your experience with weight watchers. You relative can make a formal complaint or look at changing meetings.

No one shoudl be made to feel bad about being overweight. Its a huge step to take to realise that you have a problem and activly look at helping yourself so full supoort is needed by everyone.

With regards to Matts commens, this proves that even slim people can have an ugly personality. Mat eyou will go far in life im sure...Slim people also have high risk of heart failure due to the fact they dont think about what they are eating or in your case what crap comes out of your mouth.

I am very confused about this organization. I applied for a part time job as a receptionist.
I have a four year degree, ten years spent as pre-school teacher. I also worked as an actress in commercials in LA till my agent recently passed away and made a nice living. I also have experience in customer service positions, working as a PR assistant and casting assistant in NYC. I need something part time since my mother now lives with me so I can take her to Dr. appointments at times during the day. And I do have a new agent. I also am a person in recovery for 18 yrs. but weight has not been the problem. I mention this because I do have great compassion for anyone struggling with any issue. So I applied online and get this email and call from a recruitment person. From what I gather and she has not said this clearly yet, I must first join weight watchers to be even considered for a job. In fact she told me there are no openings right now, but I must be a life time member if I work there and of course pay to do this? Is this the only way to get a job with them? I am 5'2 and 117 lbs. While I do watch my weight because I want to have good cholesterol I don't need to join Weight Watchers to get a job, because if I could do this I'd have to have weight problem which is nothing to be ashamed of don't get me wrong and another job or the savings/investments to justify joining a group right now that I don't need in the hopes of a job opening up? This seems really unfair. Yes, in my 20's I always weighed 100-105 lbs. but should I have to join now just to hope I get a job interview? I recently also interviewed in person at Jenny Craig because they have similar part time hours and positions, for a sales position. They didn't tell me nor does it seem to be their policy that I must join first, in hopes of being hired.
For anyone who works at Weight Watchers does this recruiter's actions make any sense?

I think "MATT" has a few issues to work out. Ladies, don't let a disgruntled weigh in lady make you upset. They may be married to someone like MATT. hahha.. and, maybe MATT has male pattern baldness, premature ejaculation and well, lets just say, he may be trying to compensate for certain little things he lacks in other areas... if you know what I mean? Yes. I think that could be it.

Answer for you, Matt? Not everybody is grossly overweight that attends weight watchers. And, what are YOU doing on this site? Have a little weight problem? Ever hear of "PROJECTION"? Look it up... It's when someone has such hatred for themselves that they project that in comments to others. Sigh.. you buy em books, ladies, and they chew the covers, ... Poor Matt. It may be naptime for Matt.

ANYWAY.. (ugh) ... you're right, weight watcher leader person, Matt IS a jerk. And I agree with the point you make about challenges, etc.

HOWEVER... the weight watcher plan is more than doubled in "easy" since I knew about it. I'm a tall blonde with long legs and I look like I don't have a weight problem.. and, now I don't. But I DO remember thinking "oh my gosh.. how did THIS happen!?!?!?!?... OH dearie! The long and short of it is ... the point program works. The filler snacky stuff I had when I did the first round of weight watchers was sugar free jello, sugar free popsicles, and at that time it was either fat and fiber plan or exchange plan. I always did the exchange plan as I have a family I cook for. I also upped my excercise and was always thrilled when I took off a pound.

Most of the time well a lot of the time, here in the states, we are impatient. Everything is convenient. So, it is in effect, harder for some to stay 100% of the time "on program". The point program lets you have sushi, salad, pretty much anything you want.. it teaches you the real deal on portion control and the big thing for most of the people I know that had the biggest success was two things, eating enough veggies, and drinking the water.

If you have fresh steamed asperagus, a baked potato and a protein item.. you can pretty much get a good dinner in there. I love grilled halibut with the above ... and I always go over the halibut .. I don't measure the meat anymore because I sort of learned this in Europe while living there. IF you take your two palms, face them up. OK... One hand... fill that area of your plate with steamed veggies. Don't overcook them, they are so good just barely steamed. Any kind you want that aren't really starchy... I love fresh broccoli, steamed brussel sprouts and or asperagus... OK? Then, the other hand, the fingers area ... (I know it sounds dumb but it works).. that is a scoop of rice, a med. potato and or a scoop of pasta, all boiled, steamed or baked, OK? If you want to use "I can't believe it's not butter spray" a few spritzes and honestly, little salt and pepper and you cannot tell that you are dieting, I promise. OK? Then.. whats left? The palm area of your hand.. the last thing you need? Protein. About the palm size of raw meat, fish, or two eggs if you are a vegetarian. I eat meat and fish, so I even fry up a pork chop, make sure it's blotted on a papertowel, and there ya go. Bon appetit.

Warning to mean weigh in ladies. If you are not nice to the ladies stepping on the scale, you are showing them your ugly side if you are being short with them, STOP IT. If you are brushing them off KNOCK THAT OFF. If you are tired and want to go home and are either volunteering or making minimum wage, TOO BAD. Have someone else do it if you can't be nice. When you work all week and diet, it's the hardest job for some people, ME INCLUDED... and the weigh in is a very determining time of the weekly visit. SO listen up. Be nice to those ladies ... they pay your salary! Remember that a kind word, and even a hug when they lose, a sympathetic ear ? If you have a long line, and are rushed.. tell them that, and see them afterwards. You will see, what goes around truly comes around, and you can make a difference in that persons entire life, by just lending a listening ear. So, BE NICE.

And lastly, to the lady that was insulted by the small man named Matt? He will never be able to change that bald spot, but you can always lose the weight. ahhhhhh. My job here is done.

Party on ladies, get together, make a huge salad, and talk about Matt's little problem, and enjoy your beautiful selves.. You can do anything if you believe it to be so. Positive thoughts, little walkin' little water drinking, little bit of a cookie at night with a cup of tea, and voila, you are master of your own personal diet plan. Weight watchers is the only program that teaches you how to remain on track, your health improves, your outlook improves, your wardrobe improves, and you soon realize that men are following you around like silly school boys, and you will conquer! Go forth and Conquer!

Just so you know, the receptionists at the meeting do have a weight problem, but they got it under control at ww. It is a ongoing experience. Just becasue someone is skinny does not mean they don't have a weight problem! Yes, the receptionist was rude, and your friend should talk to a supervisor about her/him.

As an employee of Weight Watchers I first want to reply to the comment by Matt - you are a jerk! If you've never had a weight issue, you have no idea of the challenges that a person has to overcome to lose weight.

For those who are Weight Watchers' members with unkind staff in your meetings. You must complain to a boss. If the leader can't make a change, then find out who their supervisor is and complain to them and if that doesn't work, go higher to the next level. Phone calls are good . . . letters are better.

It is totally unacceptable for any Weight Watchers member to feel uncared for or degraded. Every single employee of Weight Watchers was once overweight and had to lose their weight and become a lifetime member.

I wish you all the best in your journey of weight loss and health!

I just want everyone to know that a Weight Watchers employee at the Florissant location (2794 N.Hwy 67 ste.a Florissant Mo. 63033 in Surrey Plaze) her name is Vera she's just as bad. She's an old hage from England who thinks she's better then all Americans and says how America is so terrible, and that us Americans can't do anything right.

Theres a solution to the abuse, its called NOT BEING AN OVERWEIGHT FATASS. Fat people are less appealing, less beautiful, and less suited for marriage and motherhood. Plus, their risks of dying early from a fat-related illness are several times higher. Fat people are fat because they are LAZY AND CAN'T STOP RUNNING TO THE FRIDGE. FACT.

Weight Watchers International stinging insect in a joghurt

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am contacting you because I recently purchased a pack of your raspberry yoghurts from Asda in Cambridge.
Today as I took a mouthful I had to spit it back out, as I felt something inside my mouth that did not feel quite right. To my horror I found that I had nearly swallowed of all things a WASP.
This made me physically sick.
I think you should be made aware of this as it has totally put me off purchasing anymore of your products, also I personaly think that more care and attention needs to go into checking all of your products when selecting them to sell.

Yours Sincerely

Renata Chylinska

Weight Watchers International beware 7 day free trial is not free!

I signed up for a 7 day free trial of weightwatchers.com just after Christmas. Well I wasn't on the computer for a couple of days and the next time I checked my email was two days after, and I had an email saying that I was charged $65.00 I've emailed weightwatchers customer support multiple times, and they will not budge. I've threatened them with the BBB but that doesn't make any difference to them. I've also let them know we're disputing the charge through our credit card company, but they don't seem to care. They started out at refunding us $18.10, then, since according to them "However, while it is not our policy, customer service is very important to us and we have been authorized to credit your account for $35.05. This credit covers your subscription cost less the non-refundable $29.95 sign-up fee. The Subscription Agreement specifies that the sign-up fee is non-refundable. You should see this credit on your next credit card statement. Your subscriber account has been cancelled effective today." That's a quote taken directly from one of the many emails i've receieved from them. The problem is, no where on the free 7 day trial does it mention this "sign up fee". This is a scam, plain and simple. I wouldn't recommend weightwatchers.com to anyone.

I signed up for a free trial, and forgot about the auto-renewal. Did not use the service. Asked for a courtesy credit and was denied. I feel auto-renewals are calculated rip-offs.

usually when you sign up for a free trial of ANYTHING you are told that if you do not cancel before the trial is over your account will automatically be converted into a paid account and you are responsible for the terms and conditions thereof. If you didn't read the terms and conditions when signing up that is in NO WAY the companies fault. Just because you were not paying attention when you signed up, it does not mean you are not responsible for the consequences of not properly canceling your account in the appropriate time-frame.

We cancelled our on-line weight watchers program on October 28th, 2006. We have been charged a monthly fee of $12.95 ever since and despite numerous attempts to get them to stop charging us, we can't seem to get them to stop. We have called our credit card company and they have tried with little effect. I am at my whits end. Beware before you sign up for the program that you might never be able to cancel. It is a real hastle and there is NO PHONE NUMBER for you to call.

Has anbyone had a similar experience?

Weight Watchers,
At the end of July 2007 I signed up for a $65 one time charge to participate in the on line program. My credit card was billed on August 1, 2007. Now for no reason whatsoever my credit card was billed $16.95 on November 11, 2007 and again on December 1, 2007 for the same amount. I am sending this same info to your Kansas address and expect results in a reasonable time period.

Weight Watchers International unethical billing practices

Weight Watcher's Online charged me $65.00 for signing up for their service even though I canceled less than 24 hours later. Their computer messed up my registration weight (entering a weight they had on record for me 3 years earlier!), so I decided not to bother with them since there was no telephone customer support. (This was my fault for not looking for human customer support before signing up.) When my credit card was charged $65.00 (even though no human ever put their hands on my account) I complained to their customer email support. This is the reply I received, even though I had canceled several weeks before I had sent in my complaint: Dear Barbara, We are certainly willing to help you cancel, but want to inform you of the specifics of your account. If you decide to cancel your Weight Watchers® Online 3-month subscription plan within one month of your sign up date, it will expire at the end of the month and your monthly fees will be pro-rated at the non-discounted price of $16.95. In addition, when you subscribed to Weight Watchers Online and submitted your payment, you agreed to the terms and conditions set forth in the Subscription Agreement. The Subscription Agreement specifies that the $29.95 sign-up fee is non-refundable. Based on the refund policy outlined in our Subscription Agreement, until 8/30/2007 you are eligible to receive an $18.10 refund. After this date, you are no longer eligible. If you would like to cancel early with a partial refund, please reply directly to this e-mail so that we may complete your cancellation request. If you do not respond by the date above, your account will expire at the end of the pre-paid term on 10/30/2007. The reason your potential refund comes to $18.10 is as follows, in accordance with our subscription agreement. You paid $65.00 for a three-month subscription to Weight Watchers Online. When requesting a refund you are charged the pro-rated, monthly price of $16.95 for each month or part thereof. Thus, $65.00(3-month subscription plan) - $29.95(non-refundable sign up fee) = $35.05 - $16.95(one month's service, pro-rated) = $18.10. By clicking on the link below, you may refer to our subscription agreement for additional inquiries you may have regarding our refund policy. http://www.weightwatchers.com/legal/subagreement.aspx Sincerely, Ha, Customer Service Associate www.weightwatchers.com

Don't use Weight Watcher's Online. It is a farce and has bad customer support and unethical billing practices.

I received my Visa bill and I was charged double for the month of October. There was a credit for last billing period and two additional charges from Weight Watchers. When I totaled my transactions for the month of October both charges were in the grand total. Does this mean that I won't be charged for November?

I tried a few weeks ago to terminate my monthly pass, first by e-mail, then by mail. So, what happens, I get my monthly pass in the mail a few days ago, as if I never tried to contact you. I am having foot surgeery and will be in a cast for quite some time, therefore I would not be able to be weighed. You probably won't pay attentioin to this, but my pass ID# is M3013144. I have been trying to no avail to cancel my "hassle free" monthly pass. I have followed all of the steps on the online portion of the weight watchers web site and have had absolutely no luck in canceling this service. I have joined weight watchers in the past and paid weekly. I will never use their online service again as it is a scam.

I joined Weight Watchers under the Tenn Care partner's Program. It's funny how I was able to speak with a live person to join, but now they say my only option is to leave a message for them to call me back to cancel, yet they never do! Beware of Weight Watchers online free 30 day trial... it's not free. Even if you cancel within the 30 days, your credit card is billed for $65 before the period is up.
