I have been shopping at the Wegmans in Chadds Ford, Pa since the day they opened. I absolutely love this store. Our family enjoys the bagels. I come at least 3 times a week to shop, but I especially come for the bagels and fresh fruit. Over the past 2-3 months the bagels have been awful! They're so burned on the bottom and they're dry all over. So when you toast them they become hard as a rock! I have complained a number of times. The one guy told me that most people like them really dark. Well that's a bs excuse! And I'm not sure how that would work for the people who don't like them dark. I know for me and my family, we toast our bagels. So if they're already dark then they're going to get burned once they're toasted. The other guy who I think is maybe the shift manager told me that there's basically nothing they can do about it because they have to be cooked for a certain amount of time. And I understand that, I really do. But there has to be a way to bake them so they're not burned like this. And this just started happening a few months ago. Another person told me that it depends on when they put them in the oven. Like if the temp is too high. Ok, hmmm well that's probably the problem right there (common sense). So why is this so hard to fix? We really like wegmans bagels, that's why I'm taking the time to write this long complaint. I've bought the bagels so many times when I knew they didn't look right, but I figured ah I'll try em. And guess what?! I ended up throwing them away cause they were awful! So I'm just tired of throwing my money away. And I would love for the problem to be resolved.

March 4 I have been a long standing customer since the store was opened--I picked up a cooked chicken bag and the hot gravy in the defective bag spilled onto my hands and boots--when I asked the person behind the counter to give me something to wipe my hands and boots he said I would have to wait until he finished making a sandwich--there were other people behind the counter who could have helped as well ---all I was asking for was a paper towel! This felt like gross negligence and disregard for a customer in distress---a chicken belittling experience to say the least--and when I went to customer service they kept me waiting to fill out a report with no regard for the distress! I was covered in chicken grease.

I have been waiting months for you to restock these crackers (fresh stack) and it is not happening. I also went to buy you regular no pulp orange juice in a carton and I was told that the packaging had changed only to find out that wasn't true and you were out of that product and slow to restock that as well.
Also when I try to buy your legman's brand toilet paper in the purple wrap it took months to restock that as well. So I guess my question would be why is this continuing to happen? I am seriously considering changing stores to tops and the iga which is much more convenient and less hassle.

I ordered a full size cherry pie directly at catering dept at Pittsford Store 2/7/18, to be picked up Sun 2/11/18. I received a phone call Sun morning that the pie was not available, with no suggestion re what or where to go.
I called Perinton catering dept and was helped by a delightful young woman who put me on hold to check if they had one, brought one back to her dept and completed my call. Of course I said yes I will be over to pick up.
When I did pick up pie around 12:30-1:00, the employee said she was very sorry about what happened and was very surprised I had to find pie instead of employee at Pittsford store making the phone call.
I'm sorry I did not get any names but know your Perinton store woman was very helpful and apologetic.

Yesterday (2/9/2018) I went to your store and ordered a slice of pizza. Let me first say i'm a fan of it and a regular customer. But this time, after coming home to eat it, I noticed not only was the slice very small, but old. The crust was as hard as a rock. I'm disappointed in the quality and shocked because i've never encountered a problem like this before. So my complaint is you charged me for a small, old piece of pizza. I'll attach a picture below. And I hope you'll rectify this.

A week ago I visited the bakery at wegmans on losson rd and transit in depew ny. I was looking for a very simple panda cake with possibly a face (two eyes, a nose and a mouth) or maybe bamboo. Very simple. The girl we spoke to said they could do a custom cake and if it's simple like bamboo we wouldn't even get charged for the custom. Today I go to order and I get a representative who basically refuses to help me and kept referring me back to the book. I referenced the girl who said it was possible and she said it all depends on who is working who can make the image. That makes me very upset. Now I have to schedule my cake around your employee staff schedules? Unreal! I understand this idea I had was not in your book but it was very simple and I was flexible with what You could do. She offered me no options and just kept saying it depends on the staff schedule. I'm fairly confident even I could make bamboo. I will never be going here again and will be telling everyone I know to make sure they order a cake when you have qualified staff working! If it could not be done I should have been told that initially. Never again Wegmans.

On 1/23/18 I visited Wegmans to pick up Chao Jalepeno Cheddar, a product I've been buying regularly for several years. It has been discontinued by Wegmans and replaced with another brand that I abhor as do many of my vegan friends.

I had a coupon for Imagine soup and planned to buy the corn soup only to find all 5 boxes on the shelf had expired.

Went to organic breads section to buy the Wegmans rye or pumpernickel and could not find them. This is the 3rd time I've looked and found they had been moved to a different location. I don't have time for these games. Went to another store only to find they no longer carry them. They don't carry their own brand?

Every time I go I have to tell someone in the bakery department that leaving out Divvies oatmeal and raisin cookies is a waste because people prefer their other flavors as evidenced by the fact that the shelf never has anything on it but oatmeal and raisin. Not rocket science!

Nature's frig is full of Silk milk products but I have to walk to the back of the store to find all other brands of plant-based milks. How much does Silk pay for that privilege?

I can only hope that Whole Foods builds and builds soon. Wegmans disappoints week after week.

I tried to write this complaint at the Wegman's site but it would not accept my login. Said my password was wrong. Funny, because I have it written on the back of my Wegmans card so as not to forget it. Really Wegmans?

Next week I begin going to two competitors before I revisit Wegmans.

Everytime I go in this store, I kid you not entire departments are moved. Not just rearranged MOVED. I am tired of hunting for products. What is wrong with management? Find help non existent! I'd rather shop somewhere else than put up with this nonsense. What was supposed to be a quick stop or short shopping trip turns out to be an excursion. Please someone do some retraining.

Why did you raise the price of your Chicken French pre-made meals ?

I feel $9 is absolutely absurd when nothing has changed.

Its not that much more now in price or quantity than any given place in Rochester NY

Chicken has not gone up in price ..vegetables have not gone up in price.

And I doubt to make the French sauce has either.

So please my co-workers and I want to know ?

I have love the produce you sell. This Christmas, the Thursday before I had purchased my groceries for both Christmas eve and Christmas day. I was disappointed to find two out of small eight tomatoes in the "Orbganic Can park pack" we're spoiled. The strawberry pack was the same way. I would have thought fresher for the holidays. I have been shopping at your stores for over forty years and never had this happen. I was also disappointed when buying the "Holiday Fruitcake". The cake part was dried out. I spent $8.00 for this. I have always found fruitcake to be moist. This was a very disappointing experience with your Camillus branch. I sure how it is not a reflection of your chain going downhill because I love the quality of the merchandise and your exceptional employees at this store.

I wanted cooked veggies, and they just brought out root veggies. They were not hot, and they were very hard. My plastic fork had a hard time.
I understand some veggies are healthier a little firm, but these were too firm. The rest of the food I had was very good. But I spent $8.35 with taxes, and I ended up throwing away the veggies. I didn't have that much on my plate, and I thought that was expensive. It was today, 12/19 at 3:43pm at the Easton-Nazareth Wegmans.

The chicken cutlets i purchased at wegmans were stringy and had a funny texture. I'm a very disappointed in the quality of the chicken because wegmans usually has the best of everything. Not satisfied. Unhappy customer. I am a frequent shopper at wegmans and I would like to keep shopping at wegmans however this stringy chicken is really unsettling.

Again I am writing regarding the cashiers and their poor thought process of bagging groceries. I am a old cashier. I place my items on the belt as I would like them packed (in paper bags). Cold/frozen items together, produce separate from can and heavy items. Today, I asked for paper bags, and my cold/frozen item together (I only had 5-6 items). The cashier only put 2 items in a paper bag and started another, I said that it was alright to fill up the bags putting all the cold items together. After the cashier did that, she preceded to haphazardly drop items into remaining paper bags. Glass items, plastic container of oil placed on their sides with heaver items on top. Now if the plastic bottle of oil had cracked from the weight of the heavy items placed on them, lying on their side, what a mess in the car. At the end the cashier noticed that the half gallon of milk was left (this was the first item that was scanned). She asked if I wanted it bagged..."yes, it's cold, it goes in the cold bag". She then placed the milk on top of the eggs! I corrected her saying that the heavy milk goes on the bottom of the bag, not on top if fragile eggs. I am not trying to be rude...I place the items on the belt to make the thought process of bagging easier. My 19 year old grandson asked me when I got home if I had to stop hard and the bags of groceries tipped over, that's how much of a mess the bags were.
I will be more than happy to teach your cashiers in orientation how to bag groceries. At this point I'll be saving your customers money and pure frustration from the ruined products that they just purchased because of the mindless process of bagging. Sorry, again I don't mean to be rude, just frustrated from years of irresponsible bagging. I was too frustrated to stop at the front end to say anything. Please teach the cashiers how to pack groceries, think about putting bread and produce on the bottom of cans being dropped on them. Items are not to be dropped into bags! Sorry, I'll stop now.

I am very disappointed with the move to make the vegetarian/vegetable bar/buffet foods COLD.

Stores are charging same price for cold and hot foods in the food buffet/bars. Recently all vegetarian/vegetable options suddenly became cold serve, encouraging customers to eat cold or warm them up.

First of all, you are charging through the roof per lb for a SERVICE. You expect the vegetarians to go the extra mile and warm their food up. Reheating food changes the quality and taste of the food. Or if we happen to place hot and cold food, or food of different consistencies (different heat times) in the same container, they would all cook differently. This also creates more material waste (will need to use extra containers)

You want to save money by reducing food waste, but you don't do the same for the other hot foods? I'm sorry but reheating the cold vegetables that are meant to be hot just don't cut it. We'll go to the prepackaged area if we want cold veggies.

REDUCE the price for these cold foods & prepackaged cold foods, esp the fried/breaded/meat (sorry, but they are disgusting when reheated...) OR please serve the vegetarian/vegetable options HOT along with other food options.

Wegmans is well known for their customer service. This move towards making vegetables cold serve so disappointing.

I bought this peanut butter on Wed October 25. I wenr to open it the next day and the whole top was full of oil and it splattered all over. The peanut butter was all runny. I tries to stir it up and it was still all runny and gritty. I threw away the receipt so I dont know if I can take it back. Its so runny I cant even use it. It has a best buy date of Feb 27, 2019 so it isnt expired, it just seemes to settled too much or was made wrong in distribution but it is unuseable.

As a consistent to customer of Wegmans I often enjoy my experiences here and love returning to do my shopping. I recently moved to South Buffalo and now go to the Wegmans in the West Seneca Plaza. I am constantly disappointed. The produce is often rotten but the worst is the prepared food section with limited options but are evenly smaller with extremely poor quality and often bad customer service. This is the worst Wegmans I have been to. I hope to see progress and change in this Wegmans or I will not be returning.

I do not know the truck number I encounter today, but I encountered this wegamns tractor trailer on I81 southbound in Carlisle PA at approx 1850 hours tonight. The rude trucker stayed in the passing lane from the first Hanover St exit the Newville exit. The driver sped up Every time someone would attempt to pass him on the right. Then he would drive next to other trucker so no one could pass and his max speed was 60 on a 65mph highway. He was rude, dangerous, and had teaffic backed up for miles in the left lane. I will never shop at your store again not when you have ignorant drivers like that.

I'm a huge fan of Wegmans brand Ice Cream called "Nutter Butter" I purchase this ice cream maybe too frequently (ha!), but the last time I purchased this produced it tasted much like spoiled milk, which was an unusual taste for this ice cream. I was disappointed and want to belive it's a fluke but I don't want to waste any money. Please help me to resolve this issue

My family has been a loyal customer since the Frederick Store opened.

We come to Wegmens, not only for the quality products, but for the customer service. Over the past year, my husband and I have seen a drastic dip in the quality of personnel and customer service but today was my breaking point.

After a long week of work, I was shopping with my 20 month old son. To help my shopping experience, I always buy 2 cookies. I give my son one cookie and keep the 2nd in the bag so when they ring me up, the cashier can charge me twice since by the end of the shopping trip my son has eaten and enjoyed the delicious cookie.

Although, today (September 29, 2017 at approximately 5:30pm) the cashier and her manager told me that this is against store policy and a 20 month old baby CANNOT eat a cookie without paying for it. I explained that I was paying for it and that was the reason I bought 2 cookies so that they can charge me twice. The Cashier's Manager (I believe his name was Darren) accused me of stealing and then charged back to the cookie section of the Frederick Store putting 3 individual cookies in 3 different bags and marched back asking what type of cookie my son consumed. He asked firmly... "Did the cookie have Walnuts int it, was it Chocolate Chip or did it have frosting on it?" Clearing, he did not understand when I told him that my son ate the same cookie that was in the bag that I was already charged for when i asked them to charge me twice.

By the way... the single cookie was $0.49 so there couldn't have been a differential of more than a penny or two.

This experience was quite embarrassing because the Cashier's Manager (Again...I believe his name was Darren) made quite the scene. I did speak with a Manager on my way out and he didn't seem to care about my experience the slightest.

My family spends about $1, 000 per month at the Frederick Store. I will be taking our money elsewhere due to this very poor experience. I do hope you can improve your customer service so another good paying and loyal customer does not have this experience.

Hi, I really dislike complaining, but, I treated myself to your pre-prepared clams casino. It was only 7.00, but it was a treat for me after a long day.

I found them very salty, as I did w/a chicken dish that I hadn't cared for & told you about. I am a big supporter & shopper at Weges, so it takes a lot for me to say something.

It also was not very clammy, more stuffing & peppers. I also, although stated on the package, had several bites of shell. Don't know if it was a coincidence, but all day Sat. I had an upset stomach, ginger ale to the rescue.

I only complain as I know you like feedback & always try to improve. Thank you for your time.
