Like many disappointed customers of WebcreationUK I have been very very disappointed with the service and mentality of their staff. They don’t respond to emails. The designs they do are of poor quality. The sales team promises you everything verbally and then they don’t deliver.

WebcreationUK is also a company that hides behind the small print. They do not make you aware at the point of sale that the websites are designed in India. You can’t actually talk with the designer and the deposit payment is none refundable. Like so many other people they have taken my deposit and I have nothing to show for it. In my view webcreationUK are unprofessional, immoral and it’s a scam.

I appointed them last year and I don’t even have a home page yet. I have tried to get a refund and they do not refund.

Please do your research about them. Just Google “WebcreationUK problems” and see all the people they have done this too!

They are cow boy website designers. They take your money and run! We are a small business trying to survive in a tough business climate and they are an awful company. Out to rip people off

It seems that I am the next to be added to the long list of people who have wasted their hard earned money on this band of thieves. At the outset Sam Griffin was always available to take my calls and answer my emails. Once the bulk of the costs had been transferred (75% ) he went incommunicado. He had been told what I wanted regarding migrating listings from my Ebay shop over to the new website and a postage system to enable our products to be sold globally with a postage system that showed potential customers the cost of getting the products to them. he sourced a company to do the product migration assuring me all the time that they could carry out what I needed., the postage option was never addressed again and so I supposed it was just a standard part of a website as most websites selling globally have this. When it came to the point where the developer requested the product information I contacted the company sourced and promoted by WebcreationUK and to my total dismay was told that they could only achieve less than 10% of the migration. When I took this back to Webcreation it started to become ever more of a problem getting to speak to anyone, they denied it was anything to do with them that they had sourced and promoted the third party to carry out the migration work. The next step was the final straw came when after deciding to get another company to migrate the website, I enquired about the postage calculator and I received an email from someone whose name indicated that they could be Asian, asking for the details of what they were to do regarding this. Once again after telling Sam Griffin exactly what I wanted, they tell me they cannot install a postage calculator.
From this point it has just gone downhill with the developer requesting information that I would have expected them to be doing. The contract lists so many things that are included in the contract, 50%+ remain undone I know this as they have never been mentioned.
I like many before me have requested a refund and have been told that they dont do refunds. So I now intend to spend more money on them but this time with the County Court Process, they already have one judgement registered against them.
Obviously a company to be avoided.

I hired WebCreationUS in March of 2013 to create an e-commerce website. I paid them $1500 (50% of the total project cost) deposit for the website design. I received a very specific contract and invoice that clearly itemized the product that I purchased. Over the course of six months I requested updates regarding the development of my website and they gave me excuse after excuse about why they had not done any work on my site. They were not requesting anything from me, they were just giving me a run around over and over again. I told WebCreationUS that I would file a complaint with the better business bureau if they did not begin working on my project. I ended up filing a complaint, WebCreationUS offered me half my deposit back as a resolution, which I declined because that was not a fair resolution; there is no reason for them to keep any money because they didn't do any work. They never offered to do my project. That was the end of my experience, $1500 lost.

I am based in the UK and I have had nothing but problems with my website and WebCreations don't care and can't be bothered to fix it properly. My website went down 3 months after being built and it took them 3 weeks to fix the problem, it then went down about a month later and this time it took nearly 3 months to fix it, I kept making phone calls and they kept promising to fix it. I got fed up and demanded a refund but they refused saying they had done the work I hired them to do and that an outside source had hacked my website and ruined it. I insisted that I wanted a refund because they had been unhelpful and done nothing to try to resolve the problem to which they replied "well life's not like that, you can't always have what you want, I want a new Ferrari but I don't have one!" I was couldn't believe he had the cheek to respond to me in that way, it was down right rude. I am now out of pocket and I don't have a working WebSite. STAY CLEAR OF WEBCREATIONS, DO NOT TOUCH THEM WITH A TEN FOOT BARGE POLE!

My fault that I didn't read all these complains before. I experienced worst I guess. Until now I can't use the website that they created. Not in Google or search engine. They gave me the website without complete information of how to use it only few words and took my money. Websites is incomplete information and I tried to email and contact them but no response. I wasted money for this. I regretted. Very very dissatisfied.

If you had these problems with this company why is their BBB rating A-. I see the rating and not to doubt you I would like to know if you ever got it resolved. I do not want to get into a pissing contest with another company. I was screwed by a web developer recently and looking for someone to build a web store.

Don't use this company unless you want a 1990 website that looks like a child has built it. They do the full on hard sell to you at the start calling you constantly and then when's there's a problem they all hide. I was charged £2500 for a site and paid £1250 to start to project. The designer hemant (from India) was sending me some really ropey designs and logos and despite trying to explain exactly what I wanted by sending countless examples and logos he literally could of just copied these exactly but he wasn't capable. The project now was falling behind and I was so concerned I jumped on moonfruit and designed the homepage myself ! And sent it to him to copy exactly and guess what he couldn't, one day he sent me a revision with no actually revisions on it. So I complained to web creation and was pushed from one person to another sending emails regularly and no one replying they promised to transfer me to another developer that never materialised. After weeks on end and no progress I'm done and I need a refund to get a proper company to do the work before deadline but guess what ? Can't refund me ? Then they can refund but only partially. Web creation realise you are cutting costs by using sub standard staff in other countries that can't understand what's required and can't do modern design work. Refund my money or I'm taking you to small claims and with all these complaints rogue traders/watchdog would have enough to go on, plus wiltshire trading standards

Hi everyone just though i would add my 2 cents. When i signed up for my website i think 18 months ago i wasn't aware of the site being designed in India but i didnt mind and prepared example websites of how i wanted mine to look even colours and prepared all the text ready for the site designer. He shown me 2 or 3 designs i picked the one i liked and added a few things and took a few things away. He input the text i prepared and we made a few adjustments to that and he said it was finished and i was happy and signed it off. I had a look and all was good. I'm not working for WebcreationUK and you can view my site at www.premierexpatmortgages.com to verify as i run an overseas mortgage broking company. What i would say is that i was fully aware my site would have cost £1500 to £2000 with a high end web designer. I paid £650 and am happy with what i got. The SEO was ok but i have a designer that helps me wit that now to get my site where i want it. I'm not saying everyone is happy but the sites you get if you know what you want are very good. I think people sit back and expect every last detail done for them when you have to portray to your designer what you want.My 2 cents and im happy with my site and so are many others when you look at the amount of websites they have built. i'm literally fuming with the company that built my web site.( webcreationuk). i have receive little to no help from them. I contacted web creation on the 1st July 2014 regarding my business email (info@errisons.co.uk).. One of the mangers called Josh Edwards responded to my mail couple day later. he was very rude, unprofessional and very unhelpfull. I have been having problems with my business email ever since my web site went live. I have received little to no help at all from web creation ever since my site went live. After paying them well over £1, 250 I basically don't know what to do. All my emails and phones to webcreation uk goes unanswered. my customers can't get in-touch with me, because my business email keeps bouncing back to the sender... :-(

I have had clients of mine stung by this company and other overseas web design businesses like it. As a UK based web designer I would advise that you only use a designer that you can either meet or at least call and have a chat with. My clients call me all the time to discuss their design requirements - It is amazing how much you can get across in a quick 5 min chat, rather than pages and pages of emails.

If it is UK studio prices that you are trying to avoid paying (they can be pretty hefty!) then try looking for a freelance web designer. You will pay a lot less and get a really personal working relationship with the designer. Most of us freelancers have had the experience working in studios, so you get the best of both worlds!

Don't worry - not all web design companies are out to rip you off :)

Hi

I am so happy i found this review page. Where do i start with webcreation, i have never felt so disrespected on my life with regards to the service and worst of all the communication. I have invested nearly up to £2000 on my website and yes it looks good. But that was a result of me verbally given the sales team a piece of my mind.

The problems with web creation are the following

- You can not speak with your web developers are they are based in India (this was never said at the beginning stage)
- Communication with the developers are horrific it takes 48 hours to get a response and sometimes they dont even respond
- They charge you extortionate prices for simple alterations to the website
- My website has not been active for 4 days thus losing me about £3000. My server was being changed to a more secure server. I was not notified about this at all it was a potential customer who sent my company sales team an email to say your website is not working - How embarrasing and unprofessional. How can i not be informed of such a thing. What makes matters worse is the fact i was told it will take no more than 48hours its now 100 hours and counting.

I have told them several times when your self employed every day is essential we get paid based on what customers see no website means no money.

I can confidently say if you want to use them be prepared.

I was just talking to my Wife about how rubbish WCUK are and yes in finding this review site I can confirm in 2014 I have fallen foul of this company. I was shocked at the amount of negative reviews but feel justified in how I acted towards this dreadful company and I'm so glad I haven't given them the next payment 25%.
I count myself very lucky that I found this review site as the frustration/head scratching had just began, I actually felt I may have been over reacting and now I know. I can act accordingly now that I can see wood through the trees.
I shall put an end to this right now and move on and start again to try and get my website built buy a reputable company.
I too will contact Watch Dog and trading standards.

This company are amateur at best . They do not communicate with their 'developers', tell blatant fibs and do not answer the phone except when taking money out of your hands. The 'developers' cannot seem to understand simple amendments and constantly send unamended documents. Communication is tortuous at the best and they will NOT keep to your time scales. In the unlikely event that you manage to speak to a real person, they will fob you off with any old schmutter, agree with you profusely, wring their hands in abject sorrow...then do naff all as the usual email will arrive from their 'developers' asking the same ruddy questions.
Avoid at all costs!

Dear all, I hired these guys to design and develop my website about 8 months ago. Contrary to what I read above I was actually happy with the design phase and process, the designer was clearly based in India but I couldn't care less as that person was responsive by email and quite skilled. However I am growing more and more frustrated with the coding phase, which seems to be done in the UK. It's one step forward, 2 steps backwards, I keep repeating myself but the developer doesn't get it. Two questions:
- In case I decide to move away from these guys, can another developer finish such a work in progress?
- Can anyone recommend a good developer (good value for money)?

Had exactly the same sort of problems myself, poor communication, constant errors, problems uploading/editing photos. Add to that an email inbox that can only handle 20mb of data and you can only attach 2mb of files when sending one. No twitter/facebook/LinkedIn links that work. Cannot wait for my time with them to come to an end so I can have a decent website done!

I also was ripped off. When I asked for my money back I was told they would be keeping my deposit. I said that unless I saw some quick progress, I would walk away from my deposit and cause them trouble. Tonight my email was sabotaged. I wonder who did it!

I agree with the comments above.
Having tried every possible resort to have someone call me back, I had to send a letter by recorded delivery to ensure someone called me back. We had been promised website design and re-development complete in 4 - 6 weeks; whilst I thought this was a little ambitious I allowed for 8 weeks, and at the very worst 10 weeks after a few amendments. I am now CURRENTLY in y 6th Month of development and no sign of completion.
I have tried all sorts to have this rectified and the sales person I agreed the order with (Whom is also a Director of the company), but now rejects my calls, does not return EMails and all in all has taken no responsibility of this whatsoever.
In honesty; I found absolutely zero design flair or understanding - They have contributed very, very little to our site with regards to design, with my own company ideas being spoon fed into the process to have some action taken on the site. As above, we too were passed on to a foreign designer in Eastern Europe who we are not permitted to contact at all - Regardless of the matter, this was forbidden. All Chinese whispers had to be done through their 'Project Team' who would inevitably get it wrong.

I CAN NOT SAY THIS ENOUGH - AVOID AT ALL COST - THEY ARE AN ABSOLUTE SHAMBLES AND UNTRUSTWORTHY!

Just came across this site after writing a positive review about WebCreation. Some of you do make me laugh. How can you blame your overdraft and bring your kids in to this!? How is that ANYTHING to do with webcreationuk. I dont usually write on these things but its people like you that got the UK in recession. I expect most of what you have stated is total nonsense anyway. I run a business and the amount of bull that comes our when a customer is slightly unhappy is a joke. Shame on you.

I have recently signed a terms & conditions with this company. I was swayed by the slick salesman and the very plausible reassurances by the sales person. I was assured and promised I would get everything I needed for my website. I have since parted with my money which came out of my overdraft and of which I am being charged daily £1 for. But I really thought my website would be delivered by now. Their name web creation UK is very misleading. I can scarcely afford to lose the £600+ deposit I paid for the delivery of my website. I was really hoping I would have something by now. Their designer's email response was that he cannot and will not design what I asked for. They have not got back to me as promised when I said I want a different designer (prior to knowing they outsourced). I am really upset about this as this money was meant to be an investment for me and my children to hopefully start up a business. Now I am in further debt. I want my money back does anyone have any advice out there how I can claim it back? Surely it cannot be legal what they are doing.

I can only echo with the reviews I am reading here in this board and I only wish I came across this one year ago when my nightmare with WebCreationUK started. I felt totally let down by WebCreationUK and after almost 12 months I am still waiting for my website to go live. I paid 2/3 of the invoice based on a one page template. By the time they started building the site and the ecommerce part of it, it was evident that I was dealing with unprofessional and inexperienced people. I found the whole process not only very frustrating but extremely time consuming. The quality of what they build is absolutely appalling and so the lack of communication. They have changed my web developer twice. The project manager support based in the UK has been absolutely useless. They do not check what comes back from the web developer who is apparently based in Russia and they have no clue of what is happening. Last week, after many emails I sent to them, I eventually decided to formally complain to the line manager of my Project Support, informing him that I had decided to bring the matter to the attention of the ombudsmen. He has not even had the courtesy of acknowledging my email. This is the sort of company who should not be allowed to trade or serve customers. Their business model is based on lies advertised on their website and non existent customer support. I would be interested to know who took legal actions against them. It is my intention to claim back the money I invested and move on to a more reliable supplier.

So, I am not the only one. I just completed a 4 page complaint to this company. Lead into this trap by a great salesman, paid my deposit to find out that I couldn't even speak to the developer. It's been over a year and I do have a design that went live (without my knowing it would do so) and now things don't work and I'm left at the mercy of their decision to find time to work on the problems. Why I let it even go this long is beyond me. I just didn't have the time to chase them being a director of my own company. DON'T USE THESE GUYS - they are rip off artists and do not offer what they try to sell. In fact, the only person you ever get to speak to is the salesman. I well intend to follow through my complaint on this matter.

I was so sure that they would deliver good results by listening to their sales people but heey! One would say that this is a sale guy's job to sell his product no matter the quality t.Now I see myself totally running out of schedule, when I was expecting my website to be delivered late July! So I don't know if there is a group gathering all the disgruntled clients of WbCuk and that will take action against them but I will be definitely seeking legal advices and taking them to court if I can. I don't have to enumerate all the problems that I had with them since you all had them but awwww that hurts so bad.
It's so hard to start a business, spend so much time putting everything in place to end up in this kind of situation!
Now that it is said, I would welcome any advice on how I should proceed to sue them!

Anyway, good luck to all of us and hopefully they will get what they deserve soon!
