Watcheslux / Total conartists

1 Woking, England, Surrey, United Kingdom Review updated:

Soultaker's view on Watcheslux seems to be spot on. I checked some of the forums and one such individual has posted a list of watch scammers on there, no Watcheslux. I think it has been posted by Watcheslux themselves, or indeed someone who works for Watcheslux.com.
I ordered my watch 27 days ago, I have not heard a thing, despite, 8 yes 8 e-mails, none of them ever answered. They are definitely a scam company, using some other dodgy payment system, and when you try to get them to call you, its automated through another company, does anyone think this is extremely odd. Why are companies like this allowed to operate on the net, they should be pulled off immediately. Apparantly it's actually based in Beiijing according to one blog, now that explains everything. If you are real, that is, the person with the list of dodgy replica watch companies, you have to add this one to your list.
In addition to all this, my friend ordered a watch about a week after me, and again, has heard nothing again, they took the money, then that is, I feel really stupid for using them, but as Soultaker says, don't use them, really don't.

Had dealings with watcheslux myself, I did receive a watch wrapped in bubble wrap but after only one week the strap had broken twice and it fell off my wrist.then the stud on the clasp fell off also.Paid extra for the supposed better quality version of an Omega seamaster with smooth sweeping second hand but it stutters and jams.Totaly useless piece off rubbish.tried to contact the customer support but no answer after 2 weeks but pretended to be an interested buyer and got a reply the very next day.DO NOT USE WATCHESLUX.COM SCAMMERS

The 007-Seamaster, 2008 up-dated version I received, is a very impressive looking watch. It is beautifully made and even keeps good time (for an automatic). I particularly like the engravings on the watch face and back (which are to a very high standard); the domed glass with a.r. coating and that the bracelet has screw-head pin links - very impresive! For an $80 watch, it is loads better than a good, 'honest' watch from your high-street jewlers! My only regret is in not going for the black-faced model rather than the blue-faced one (Omega never did a blue-faced version looking quite like this one)! Had I gone for the black-faced model, I would now be very happy indeed; but this is my fault not theirs and like I've said, it is a nice watch in its own rights.

Well, so far I've had my Seamaster for nearly a month and it still looks like new! Accuracy was poor to start off with but now, after adjustment, it looses only 5-6 seconds a day. That almost makes it a chronometer and is not bad for a cheap, Asian automatic, non-lever movement!

I do, unfortunately agree, that customer service is not their strong point and I too have had e-mails ignored when I challenged them about a Tag chronograph which had sub-dials that did not function the way they were designed to on the original version. E-mailing other firms in the replica business, however, shows that this problem (incorrectly functioning chronographs) is widespread and not confined to Watcheslux.

I think one has to be fair minded. Yes, there may be much better replicas on the market and firms out there claiming to give good customer service, but at a price! At the end of the day a replica is just that and it seems daft to me to spend too much on one!

Watcheslux have a huge range to choose from; their 'site' is very user-friendly and you wont waste time over ascertaing important specifications such as diameter of watch-face and whether the movement is quartz or automatic.

At the end of the day, the good old adage 'caveat empor' applies : they are a business and after your money, so be careful! That said, with a little care, you could end up with a very nice replica at a fair price!

I have bought 9 watches from Watcheslux over the last couple of years. Generally, their service and communication has been good considering their insufficient understanding of the English language/grammar and the delay in mailing sometimes; however, I have received every watch I've ordered which have always been sent through EMS. I have experienced a mechanical problem with only one of the watches and they have agreed to repair it but I am pushing for an exchange; I am a little ticked off that they do not offer to pay the shipping for the return.
The finish and quality of all their items has been extremely good and their prices are a lot more reasonable than some suppliers of watches of similar quality. So, overall, I've been pretty pleased with them.
Lastly, if you want to deal with a REALLY BAD outfit, try Watchesell; they are an abomination.

Watcheslux is a total SCAM...I WOULD NEVER use them again. My watch stopped working after 1 day...doesn't keep time and the watch fell off my husbands wrist. It's a nice looking Rolex, but would NEVER buy from them again!!! They will not respond to my many emails...and they have NO return policy...you can't reach them ever!!! Very DISAPPOINTED. I will try and get them off the website...somehow soon!!!

I have used Watches Lux for 4 x times watches and all have been superb, obviously the chronographs act as date rather than a chrono, but that is what all replicas do.

I did have an issue with a Rolex Daytona, it was the 7750 movement with working chronograph, it stopped, i arranged to send it back and they repaired it and sent it back to me.

Please note the $300 + ones with the 7750 movenment work exactly the same as an original and the mechanism looks the same, my jeweler who sells Rolex said that the $300 daytona was exactly the same as a $20, 000 one, in the weight, markings and movement.

I also bought a submariner from them, but was lucky enough to get a real one some months later and again no one could tell the difference, they were identical
