Warrior Custom Golf poor service

I have been testing several different designs of clubs without any issues with satisfaction until I found that the 1 set I finally felt comfortable with developed cracks in the heads. Because the warranty was changed to one year instead of the "lifetime" for which they were promoted to me as, there was no way to get these replaced unless a new set was purchased. As soon as I began asking for managerial assistance the phone goes dead. I get calls from the mgr assistants asking me to be available for their boss to return my call and then never call back (4 times in 2 months).

I tried the woods. I was surprised I had to put well over 500 dollars on my credit card to receive a “free hybrid” but did so anyway. I had to try four other clubs out as part of the deal. What happened was I misread the fine print thinking I had 45 days to try the clubs out and then return them. Boy, was I wrong! Just after that time period I tried to return the clubs I didn’t want (I was going to buy two of them). I was greeted with the most ridged sales department I have ever encountered. I was 12 days past 45days (the time begins when they were sent them NOT when I received them) and they emphatically told me there was no was on earth they would make an exception and take them back. They kept trying to give me things I didn’t want (balls & head covers, wedges) to make it up to me. So, I went and reread the invoice and see they make it very ambiguous – it is easy to think you are supposed to try them out for 45 days instead of send them back within 45 days. NEVER do they make it CLEAR with any of their communication they must be returned within this 45-day period. Thus, golfing public beware, this company is trying everything humanly possible to fleece you! Stay away from them AND don’t deal with them. Warrior Golf is a very slick company set up to gather as much money as they can in short period of time; poor business people with no empathy. They got me for lots and lots of my hard earned cash. Spread the word not to deal with these shysters

Warrior Custom Golf scam club deals and shaddy bussiness practice

Aftre trying to send used clubs back that were supposed to be free to try in a promo deal, I found it almost impossible to get satisfaction trying to send them back. When you do get through to the sales person or customer service person they are no help. Thay say that they have no authorization to help you to return the clubs .They will send you over to their high pressure sales person, Rainer. You are badgered to buy more clubs, a fullset of irons, plus wedges etc. After much time wasted, I figured I would just settle on a price. A mistake. I checked my credit card and they are shipping the club set which I earlier refused. They will bill you and sell you stuff on your credit card that you did not buy or want. Please never ever do business with this company or you will be sorry. A lesson learned the hard way. If it sounds to good to be true, it is.

About 10 years ago I fell for a Warrior promotion: Driver + 3-5-7 woods. Decent clubs, but not top of the line. Credit card was charged $500. After 30 days (Didn't wait to get close to 45) I called to return the clubs. They offered me a full set of irons (3-PW), to keep the original order. I said No, thanks. They then offered me a gap, sand & lob wedges to keep the Original order PLUS the irons. I said NO, thanks again. They then offered: All of the above, a shirt, hat, club covers PLUS knock $400 off my credit card to keep the Original order. I said OKAY. They followed through.

The Metal woods were okay (STILL use the 5 wood- best club I've ever hit), irons were decent, and the wedges were excellent. I gave my son-in-law the set (minus 5 wood) when I bought a set of Wilson Staffs, a Cleveland Launcher Driver, and Dunlop (Yes Dunlop) 7 and 9 woods. He still uses the Warrior clubs. Except for the high pressure, I didn't have a terrible experience with this company. I HAVE heard, however, they've gotten pushier. DON'T HOWEVER, DEAL WITH THE HAMMER!

Warrior Custom Golf deceptive & poor customer service

I too fell for the free grab bag for Christmas. After close to an hour on the phone declining multiple offers to try their clubs for hundreds of dollars the operator relented and told me she would send just the grab bag for the shipping charge of $40. She told me that I would receive a confirmation email with the order number and information. I never got an order number from the operator and never received a confirmation email from them. It has been almost two months now with no sign of the grab bag and no way to check on the order status without the order number. The only thing that this company seems capable of doing is billing (the credit card bill went through in two days).

Warrior Custom Golf free grab bag

I have purchased clubs from them back in 2006. They were "Ok"
In their email and post cards sent they say call an mention a code (...) and for being a loyal customer, they want to give you a FREE grab bag of gifts just in time for Christmas. Just pay shipping and handeling. Nothing is further from the truth.
When I called I was completly insulted by their salesman "John" who wanted to charge me for clubs. Only a small deposit of $459.00 plus tax? Are you nuts? To get a shirt and some "FREE Golf Balls? It's the same old bait and switch deal that is there since the begigning of time. I can not and will not ever sugguest this company. Stick me with a fork. I'm done with them!

I wish I had seen these complaints earlier, written as far back as 2010 and 2012. Here we are in 2015 and Warrior continue doing the same: offering a Free Bag, until you call to find out about it and they try to stuff you with clubs worth +/- $500.00 including shipping, to "try" for which you pay and, if unsatisfied, can returrn - Good Luck with that! Naturally, sales move an economy but I find their sales tactics to be as close to unethical as you can get, and somebody should get them to change their tactics.

Warrior Custom Golf dishonorable service

Definitley unfair, dishonest cheats. The 45-day "free" trial ended on a Saturday. When I tried to call to get the mandatory Return Authorization #, I found that they are closed on weekends, so I couldn't talk to anyone until Monday. On Monday, they refused to give me a Return Authorization as I had passed the 45-days. As if it's my fault they close on weekends, or there was something I could do about it. Basically, I was forced to keep the clubs, although they cut the price in half. Even at half price, the merchandise isn't worth the aggravation. Don't ever do business with these people.

These guys are still in business and still pulling the same bait and switch scam. I was offered the FREE club, just $30 shipping and handling but they charged my credit card for $414.95 within minutes after I hung up for a full set of clubs. I called to complain and was told my sales rep was new and not fully trained and made a mistake. They put me on hold for over 35 minutes on my cell before I was allowed to speak to a stupidvisor. Chase is familiar with these scams and when the charge posted, they removed it.

Warrior Custom Golf follow up oforiginal complaint

This is a follow up to my original complaint filed 1 day ago. A representative from warrior Golf contacted me this morning and issued me a RA number to send the golf clubs back and assured me that they would be issuing a refund for the clubs. The Reps name is Paul and he was apopogetic and told me that they had dismissed the customer service person that had been so rude to me prior.

Warrior Custom Golf Will not return Money

I purchased 4 fairway woods from Warrior Golf early this year wit a satisfaction guareenteed disclaimer, played with them at least 25 times this Summer, they added nothing positive to my game. I have tried to return the clubs on 4 different occasions; the first time, they gave me a set of irons in leu of me returning the fairwaywoods, I tried them, didn't work, didn't like them. I called to tell them I wanted to return all the clubs, they gave me $100.00 back on my credit card so it lowered my out of pocket cost to $518.50 less tax and Shipping. I continued to try the clubs and am still unhappy with them, so on my last call al I could get in the conversation was that I was unhappy with the clubs, the guy on the other end of the phone must have been a used car salesman or a dialing for dollars Stock brocker, because I could not get a word into the conversation, after listening to him rant for 20 minutes and be told that my review of the clubs was bogus and that it would take a year for me to feel comfortable and to realize any improvement with the clubs, I gave up and hung up. So now, I am out of $518.50 and have a set of clubs that I do not want to play with and no means of getting my money back, they promised when I originally ordered the 4 clubs that it was a risk free purchase and if I did not like the clubs, I could get my money back.

I am telling you do not purchase these clubs, because if you do not like them, you cannot send them back. That is a fact.

Warrior Custom Golf phone calls - investment opportunity?

I got the free hybrid card in the mail. Called the number. Salesman was incredibly smooth, sucked me in. As soon as I got off the phone, however I felt sick to my stomach the way the salesman talked, and was already trying to pitch me on all kinds of clubs, packages.., I felt like I needed to go online and see what all the hype was as I'd never heard of these guys. I about crapped when I saw all the complaints, so I immediately called my bank to cancel my card (as a debit card). But it was too late. I called them back and said I didn't want the free club, the lady I talked to this time said they didn't even have a record of the order, but she would make sure it didn't get processed and no club would be shipped... ya right. The next day my card had been charged. So at this point, I had reduced the damage to only being charged the $25 shipping fee. So then (8 weeks later) the club arrived with regular flex after I was assured by the salesman it would be stiff flex. I'm a 11 handicap player. Took it to the range, and it just sucked, everthing about it was cheap, from the shaft to the clubhead, even the paint was already chipped on the head edges. Regardless, this complaint is about the phone calls afterwards. The most recent phone call was a pitch to me to invest in a golf course in my area that was going to be built... Where do these people come from? The phone call started out as "I am not trying to sell you any golf clubs, so don't worry." "Let me ask you a question?" "What would you say to someone who put $5000 into an investment and 3 years later had $20, 000?" Of course I responded, "He made a good investment.". Then he said they were raising money for a new golf course opening up and wanted to give me the opportunity to make this kind of return. I said I don't have any money to invest, and why would they be calli... (hung up on me). Don't ever think these guys have your best interest or will ever do what they say they will. Lies.

Warrior Custom Golf phone calls

This company continues to call me at least 2-3 times a day (using different numbers but when call them back they are both Warrior Golf) even though they have been asked several times to NOT call me anymore. I am on the 'do not call' list and again have requested they STOP calling me but the calls continue. An e-mail was sent to their customer service a couple of weeks ago which no response was sent and the calls continue... What does one have to do to STOP the harassment ?
Anything you can do would be greatly appreciated !

They have been doing the same thing to me for SEVERAL YEARS and will not stop. They even call on Sundays and frequently very late in the evening (I'm on central time). It's unbelievable and I am very surprised that no one seems able or willing to do anything about it. I have filed complaints with the "Do Not Call" registry to no avail. My advice to everyone is to try very hard to keep these people from ever getting ahold of your telephone number.

Warrior Custom Golf shady business

This company is horrible to deal with. I, too, received a hybrid offer in the mail (courtesy, no doubt, of my recent subscription to Golf Digest). Foolishly, I thought I'd respond. They immediatley started a hard sell for the wood set. After being assured there would be no hassle returning if I wasn't satisfied, I agreed and gave them my credit card info. What a complete idiot! Approximately six weeks later the clubs arrived. I hit my first drive about 50 yds further than usual. This, however, was the only time this happened and at this time I didn't know whether to attribute it to the quality of the clubs or to luck. However, after a couple of rounds, the clubs began to feel "flat" and soft. My 3 wood broke at the hossel on a typical fairway hit. It was around this time that my "trial period" was soon to expire. For times sake, I made the mistake of fixing it myself. I knew, though, that these clubs were not worth the money I would have to pay to keep them outright. "Trial period" expired and I decided to send them back. The phone extension the salesman gave me only sent me to the main switchboard. I was then forced to wade through endless redirects and chicago songs before I could speak with someone who could help me. We are now at two months +...
My wife tells me I'm ranting and should just sum it up. Long story longer, I told them I wanted to return the clubs. After trying to sell me an iron set to no avail, it was agreed that they would refund all but $150 to my cc and that I should see this on my next statement. Didn't happened. After many calls I finally emailed customer service and told them to call me. They said they made a mistake and my refund never reached accounting but would now process it, less s/h fees. I balked and they said they'd have to research this and call me back. I received a call back and during the call was chastised for fixing the 3 wood myself, saying they have a warranty and that was "stupid" of me. Upon being called stupid, I kind of lost it and dropped an "f" bomb while explaining that I was already having enough problems dealing with them. This greatly upset the sensibilities of the supervisor I was talking to. He said they could not refund the s/h, but would credit back $150 of the purchase price. I tried explaining that the previous agreement was that there would only be a $150 charge on my cc. He said no way, I said give me the return auth. number, he gave it while mumbling something to the effect of "you don't even make sense", told me return s/h charges were on me and "We're done!" then hung up the phone. I will now ship these back and no doubt have more to deal with when they receive them.
Alll of this and I'm still an 18 handicap.

I recieved a postcard from warrior for a free hybrid club. I called them and gave them the promo number and the sales rep took my info for the customization and said shipping and customization fee would be 23.50 which was noted on the bottom of the card. The sales rep then offered me a free putter if I would try a set of woods for 45 days and posting a 130 deposit, if I wanted to keep the woods I would get them at the discounted rate of 130.I declined the offer on the woods but was told I could call back at a later date and recieve the same offer. I recieved an email of the order placed, called back because they mispelled my name and got a second email within 10 minutes with the corrected info. The email stated it would be 4 to 6 weeks for delivery but recieved another email 2 days later with the tracking number for fedex the club came 5 days later, which is normal transit time from the west coast to the midwest (I know this because I'm a contractor for fedex ground) my credit card has only been charged the initial 23.50. the only advice I can give is read the fine print and pay attention to what they say on the phone and ask questions about the deal.

Had several dealings with warrior some good some bad. Received a card for christmas gifts. All I had to do is call with a redemtion code. It looked too good to be true. I called, however, I decided to record the conversation. I got as far as "all you have to do is pay the shipping charges of 39.95. They immediately asked for my credit card. I told them I would think it over and call later. I did not go any further as I wanted to check the recorder. Don't know how they did it. All I received was a buzzing sound. For sure I won't call them back.

Warrior Custom Golf cheap product/ bad service

I received a marketing promo for 3 dozen golf balls. When I called to try the balls, I was talked into trying their Driver and woods in order ot receive the balls. When the clubs arrived, they were sent w/o club heads but came with tons of cheap useless stuff like a shirt, pocket knife, stickers, etc that really cheapened the feel of their clubs and my purchase/demo.

The Clubs were poorly manufactured. The sales team are very deceptive and offer all kinds of free stuff for demoing more clubs. My advice is to refuse all offers and business elsewhere. It's not worth the hassle nor is it pleasant dealing with their company.

Still haven't got those damned golf balls.

This is just about the worst company you have dealt with. They come across with a free marketing e-mail scam and then charge you an enormous price for "shipping" a club. Then they send you the club (a hybrid in my case) without a headcover. When you complain, they say we will rectify this complaint but you now have to pay some more shipping. A terrible business to deal with - I will have nothing to do with them, EVER!

Warrior Custom Golf always deceptive

I received a postcard from warrior custom golf yesterday (6/19/2009) offering 3 dozen golf balls free!
I was burnt once before by them already... Wound out having to buy a test driver from them for 160 bux... Which would be equivalent to a 10-dollar's worth of a club. Never. Never. Never believe in anything this "warrior custom golf" has to offer you. Trust me - it ain't free in any sense of the word. This business should be shut down and made to refund money to all the innocent people they've cheated/scammed over the years.

Warrior Custom Golf refund

This company does not return phone calls or emails regarding complaints about their products. I bought a set of irons, tried one club at the range and discovered the club looked older than my current 25 year old irons. I compained and was told that they would send me another set of irons, this time suited to my play (8 handicap) and all for just an additional $100. I asked for 1 1/2" longer than standard and received 4" longer than standard. Once again I complained via email and nothing, no return email or phone call. I have subsequently had numerous phone solicitations asking if I would like to but "our newest " irons and when I tell the salesperson my story they tell me that they'll have someone in customer relations call me. Nothing has happened. I now have 2 full sets of useless clubs in my carport and I can't get the refund I deserve. I still however keep getting calls and emails offering "free" stuff. Usually every week or so.

Warrior Custom Golf deceptive practices

Received an email from them today to do R&D on their golf balls...3 dozen free for just shipping and handling...no problem there...I called...and was told that the only way you get the golf balls is to PAY FOR and try a Golf Club...I reread the email and it says nothing about that...so I called again...and the customer service rep told me the same thing. When I mentioned that was deceptive and fraud he said "well I don't know what to say"...we have golf clubs...again I told him it says nothing about that in the email and he stated "well, thats what it is". Complete fraud.

I just spoke with the Warrior custom golf representative to get their promotion that’s called the”68 holiday gift box” which was supposed to be “absolutely free no purchase necessary a $500 value” which came on a post card mailed to;me so I called the number and the representative was very much in a rush saying that he has many customers on hold so he couldn’t take the time to give me the answers to all of my questions regarding the cost for shipping and handling plus any further cost which isn’t stated on the promo
. However, they do charge $39.95 for customizing the club. I wanted to ask more questions before I gave omy Credit card but he rushed through just telling me the cost for customization but didn’t tell me the cost for shipping and handling. The cost obviously involved more than the shipping and handling. I said I do not give my credit card out until I know exactly what I’m getting for the cost. He immediately hung up when I asked him “what exactly is in the box” and didn’t even wait for me to finish that sentence. I believed that tells me that this company is indeed a scam and deserves their “F“ rating with the BBB . I did receive a set of wore your balls at one time which is why they have me on their “best customer list“ but those balls were nothing but crap so I gave them away! Will never buy a Warrior anything!

I received the email offering the free dozen golf ball from Warrior Golf. I called and was asked to purchase a hybrid club. I told their representative that I didn't want to try the club but that I did want the golf balls. He didn't keep up the sales pitch and sent me the balls. I got them in 4 days with no problems. They did cost $11.95 though. I'm sure they did not loose any money on the deal. Remember nothing is free. Overall Warrior is a good company to deal with. Just use your heads and don't expect a company to give any products for free.

Daal Vashi, I guess you didn't receive the postcard in the mail then. The only costs it says anything about is shipping and handling and this is implied by an asterick next to the word "free", implying that the clubs would be free. Put into context though you can see that instead of stating "free" clubs they are actually only stating that it is a risk free* (there's the asterick) test play program. Other than this it simply states that "our research department requires your honest evaluation of the golf equipment you will be receiving." This would be the implied "payment" for the clubs. It is a play on words and false advertising at it's best. Protect them if you choose but that just leads me and other "chosen" individuals to believe that you are part of the problem over there. Good luck on your scams, I mean ventures.

What a joke you people are. This company has been in business for 12+ years and have done nothing but provide a quality product and a bottom barrell price, especially for custom built clubs.
There is no scam involved, all Warrior asks people to do is evaluate their new technology at a lower wholesale price and gives away tons of free product to entice their customers to try their products. For anyone to suggest that this is somehow deceptive or wrong in any way is out of their freaking minds.
The problem with most people is they call in expecting EVERYTHING in the damn world and don't want to pay for it. Some people when they discover that there is a charge involved they flip out and start to use false terms such as scam etc. just to try to bully Warrior into giving them whatever they want. People in this world are fundamentally CHEAP and never want to accept resposibility for their own actions and also seem to think that the world owes them something just because they were born.
I am and have been a customer of Warrior's for the last 12 years and have never had a problem with any of my orders with them. You want to know why? It's because I don't try to take advantage of a great company like Warrior and instead give them the same respect and courtesy I would give any top notch company in the world. Also I don't ever buy something with the intent on returning it. When I purchase something I keep it for good unless something is defective or breaks. Never would I(as I see alot of people doing) purchase a set of clubs just to send them back and get my money refunded to me.
As far as returning clubs is concerned I've also experienced their return procedure as well and found nothing wrong with it in any way shape or form. Yes they try to convince you to keep the clubs, but what company in their right mind wouldn't want their customers to keep their product?
All the client has to do if they don't want the product is say "no thank you" and Warrior will gladly honor what the client wants and provide a return authorization.
From what I've read and seen the only time people have a problem with Warrior is when they go past their warranty period or they refuse to follow directions. I've never had a problem with this company because I LISTEN AND FOLLOW DIRECTIONS! Try that for once and you should be a much happier person in life in general!

I, too, have had a bad experience with this lousy company. Best thing you can do is write to the California Department of Justice. (they are located in Irvine). If enough complaints are filed, in writing, they will make this bunch clean up their act or close shop.

Warrior Custom Golf billing issue

Got the "free" Christmas bundle and the "free" driver for agreeing to try the new hybrid woods for up to 45 days. Went to return all but one wood because I liked my current clubs better, and they said "Will you keep the clubs if I credit your card back $200? You will have to pay close to $50 to ship them back anyway." I agreed and 2 weeks later I have yet to receive my credit that was supposed to go through the same day. Called them today and they claim that it takes 30 days for them to process a credit from accounting. BS! I am an executive at a bank, with extensive knowledge of the system and that is completely bogus. I am forced to dispute the charge now. Irritating.

Warior Golf offer to test whatsoever is just the way to get your credit card number. All the rest is one big WHOPPER. They ship you what you did not requested nor ordered and then they charge you (steal from you) hundreds of dollars. The shipped CLUBS ARE PRACTICALY UNRETURNABLE.
Is this not a sort of criminal conduct?

Warrior Custom Golf failure to honor test/return policy

Failure to comply with its test and return policy in that full refund for clubs I wanted to return was not honored. Amount owed me is $133.

My attempts to obtain Return Authorization Number were resisted. I was told to keep the clubs and full refund would be granted (By George Kent on 12 Aug 08 / 11:53 AM CDT) $400 was refunded. Subsequent phone calls not answered. Emails dated 1 Oct 08, 1 Oct 08, 23 Oct 08, 24 Oct 08, 30 Oct 08. On 3 Nov Warrior informed me that a supervisor would call me. Received call that week. No name, no number. On 12 Nov 08 I notified Warrior and reiterated my claim for a refund of $133.

Discussed today with unnamed alleged supervisor who played back the company's position that I had agreed to the $400 refund. Again, I did not.

i tried to return a 3 wood, and agreed to keep the 5&7. all I got was terrific offers on a new set of wedges. The best offer was $40.00 back on a $133.00 club that I do not want and wish to return. Never had this problem withany other sales organization!

I am experiencing the same trouble now with Warrior & that NO ONE do business with them.
All they are selling is clone clubs & charging a brand name price.

Now they are not wanting to take them back for a credit too my card.

Again if the contact you refuse any offer as this is a scam IMHO.

Warrior Custom Golf deceptive pratices

I recieved a card in the mail stating that since I am an amateur golfer and not using Warrior custom golf clubs I had been selected to recieve a "free" golf gift grab bag a $250 value, redemption code #GB39. The card states that the S&H is not included, S&H came to $39.00. Here is my complaint, in order to get the "free" golf gift grab bag I would have to agree to test 3 Warrior custom golf clubs, a driver and two fairway woods, in which Warrior custom golf clubs would charge my credit card $399.00. I would be refunded the $399.00 minus the $39.00 S&H if I returned the 3 clubs within 45 days. I told the telemarketer that I did not want to try the 3 clubs and he stated that paying the $399.00 by credit card was the only way that I could get the "free" golf gift grab bag. I am sure that there are laws against such practice. Warrior Custum Golf is not to be trusted!

They won't allow return, however offered a partial refund. That was over a week ago and still no credit to my credit card. John, a supervisor assured me he would take care of it at once.
Warrior Golf is nothing more than a type of time share scam. If you won't take their product at the 1st price, they will either lower price if you promise not to return or offer some other product that you only have pay the shipping. Hell the clubs aren't worth the shipping cost. Just like their guaranty is worthless.
The customer supervisor even admitted the former sales person was just giving a sale pitch to get any kind of sale. Buyer beware!

Warrior Custom Golf receiving a product I did not want

On 1 August 2008 (on or about) I was approached by Warrior Custom Golf to procure a golf club from them. When asked, I gave them information (private). Unknown to me, on 1 August they billed me through Chase Bank for $23.50.

As the sales person, when asked, avoided most answers. With all that was occuring, I told him I didn't want the product (golf club). I repeated this to no avail. Not even saying...DAM IT, I don't want it!

On 25 September 2008, the golf club was delivered to my house by UPS Ground Service.

I am asking that Warrior Custom Golf pay for my bills and also the return of the un-opened package sent to me.

I purchased a set of irons and metal woods back in [protected] give or take a year or 2. The clubs were beautiful and worked as good as any I'd owned before, but not significantly better. About a year after I started using them, the logo plate on the back of the irons started to come unglued and in short order, I ended up with naked iron backs. They look so shody I'm ashamed to play them. It took about 6 months to get someone on the phone and when I did, they told me that they could not send me a replacement set as they don't support older designs once the new ones come out. I too am fed up with them and will never do business or recommend them to anyone else...

I had done business before with WCF, several times, with no problems. I have bought several "sets" of clubs. All came with a satisfaction guaranteed money back guarantee. This last fall, I finally decided that the last set I received for "trial" was not what I was looking for. Warrior Custom Golf refused to give me a return authorization number and thus I could not return the clubs for a refund. After several phone calls to their "resolution" department, I got no satisfaction. I would not do business with them again, ever.
