Warby Parker Disappointing Experience with Warby Parker: Prescription and Pupil Distance Issues, Plus Political Virtue Signaling

I recently bought glasses from Warby Parker and was disappointed with my experience. They claimed they would contact my optometrist to get my prescription, but after a week, I had to call them and send it myself. If they don't want to do that, why offer the option? It was a week wasted.

Then, they asked for the distance between my pupils. I took a picture with a credit card at arm's length and sent it in. They said it wasn't good enough, so I sent more pictures. This went on for a week, with me sending over 10 pictures. When I threatened to cancel my order, they finally told me I needed to show the magnetic strip on the card. They never mentioned that before, and it shouldn't have taken so long to figure out.

My last issue is more personal. I'm a democrat, but I don't like when people use their political beliefs to virtue signal. The woman I spoke with used "she/her" in her tagline, which I found annoying. It's a dumb choice for a company to have employees espousing political ideologies in their interactions. I canceled my order and went to LensCrafters instead.

Overall, my experience with Warby Parker was frustrating and time-consuming. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Warby Parker Refusing to serve

I went into the store in New Orleans 3964 Magazine St to purchase some glasses I had been looking at for months because I had cataract surgery, when I arrived at the store the representative at the front desk told me People's Health under United Health care was NOT in the network, I explained I had talked to someone at your store and People's Health that we were in the network she I really felt as if I was being discriminated against she may not have intended it that way but I am expressing what I felt, we continued to debate the issue and she said she called people's health but I don't think she did so when I returned home I called people's and they assured me we were in the network and she spoke with someone named Elaine although she was not the person that waited on me in the store but she did say she would make a report I would hope you would have your employees read upon the In and out of Network polices I really wanted those glasses and now I am so upset with your company I do not want to do business with you guys right now

Warby Parker Glasses

Ordered march 26, then april 10th, got an email saying “we need something”. Thats like THREE WEEKS! I called and waited and waited for a voice to answer - and gave up. So next day tried the online chat and got someone who was very very slow to respond (had to repeat my order number three time!) and he finally said “sorry we dont need anything from you, those emails were a mistake.Were processing your order already”. Then got an email on april 12th, saying theyre now working on my order and will ship in 7-10 days”. That would be april 19th? But now my new delivery date estimate is april 26th.” That is over a month! The only reason im spending $545 on another pair is my last pair they never checked anything in my prior order (my 4th time to order online) and ended up with wrong size glasses (medium width, when every other order ever made was large width). Fine but they refused to take them back to fix, said “sorry cant help you”, so had

to reorder them all over again and will jusy throw away my current pair of new Rx sunglasses. Not a great experience - seems like they are really going downhill in their business. Sad to see.

Desired outcome: Nothing just posting in case others are seeing WP going downhill in service.

Warby Parker Glasses

I am having trouble with my lenses constantly fogging up I use spray cleaner and treated cloth but a few minutes after cleaning they are foggy and dirty. I took 2 pairs of glasses with the same problem on Friday 12/2 to the store inside Boca Tiwn Center. The optician in charge told me nothing could be done and was extremely rude. I will no longer be a customer. I have been wearing glasses for years and never had this problem. She didn’t even offer to have them sent back to see if there was a problem

Warby Parker Sales rep training

To Whom This May Concern:

After shopping extensively for a new pair of glasses, I decided on Warby Parker based on value for money. I purchased a beautiful frame from the Grand Central location. Shortly after, I realized my prescription had expired, so I inquired about scheduling an eye exam. Two reps informed me that Warby excepted my insurance and they would schedule an appointment for me at the 6th Ave location because their store is small and doesn't offer eye exams.

I show up at the 6th Ave location only to be told my EyeMed insurance isn't accepted in New York City. Further, I would be required to pay upfront, and that my insurance company would reimburse me.

After taking time off from work and commuting, I was highly disappointed in what was a wonderful experience. I asked to speak with a manager and was told that all salespeople are managers. Ultimately, I was referred to LensesCrafters, who provided the eye exam and accepted my insurance. They also suggested I purchase my lenses from them because of several dissatisfied Warby Parker customers.

I like the Warby Parker brand; however, I am very dissatisfied with the customer service I received. I have not decided on my progressive lenses yet.

Warby Parker charged three times over

Hello-

I supplied the Palo ALto Store and the "Customer help" (Hah) people at Warby Parker with the receipt from the credit card showing they had charged me three times over. This is the letter I received in response.

I had already written complaining that a Customer service representative had promised me aa rebate and a pair of sun glasses and that she was making a not. on the request. The Palo ALto tore denied knowing anything about it. All of this happened yesterday, August 29.

Warby Parker Company Policy

I hope this company goes out of business soon. Since they decided to go woke, I hope they go broke. They are so stupid, they just eliminated about half of the country as customers. I will never buy one of their products and I will make sure that everyone I know will what their political views are. What a bunch of [censored]s!

Warby Parker Political wokism

Warby Parker seems to be bending over (literally) to radical leftist wokatopians who threaten them because of where they place their ads. Working with a leftist who hates transgender people and thinks she can influence cancel culture. Well, if Warby Parker wants to "play" with radicals, they just lost 50% of their customers. Good luck with that.

Warby Parker don't use them

I have nothing positive to say. Warby Parker doesn't deserve our money. If you want good quality glasses, you better save some money. Warby Parker may seem to be cheaper (even though it's not always true), but their quality leaves much to be desired. So it's a complete waste of money. Plus, they make a lot of mistakes dealing with customers and it's inappropriate. Stay away, please.

Warby Parker Don't buy anything from them

What a crap!
High prices for a low-quality junk from China that costs cheaper on any Chinese website.
I got glasses and was terrified by the way they were done. Poor quality, cheap material. They looked like they were from the doctor kit for children... I am very embarrassed to wear this piece of crap. Shame on you for selling this to people and taking money for nothing!

Warby Parker Very poor and cheap quality

I heard a lot about Warby Parker, they are quite famous and I decided to try them. To be honest I expected high quality but as a result I was extremely disappointed with everything.
Glasses are very important part of my life, I wear them everyday and I want them to be good looking and of a high quality.
When I received my glasses I wasn't happy, they did not fit, frame looked cheap and was too wide. I tried to get a refund but they refused and offered a price off on my next order. I will not make the same mistake and will not buy from them again!

Warby Parker I would not recommend Warby Parker to anyone

I have ordered a pair of glasses from www.warbyparker.com and when I placed my order I sent them a prescription which I received from my doctor.
When I received my order I couldn't see anything through them!
I contacted Warby Parker customer service right way and asked for their doctor. They said that he wasn't available and asked what was wrong. I explained that glasses were way too week and made wrong and asked them to fix everything.
It took me three months to get the correct glasses. All the time I heard nothing but empty promises and lies. No matter how many times I've asked for a refund they refused over and over again.
Finally I received the correct pair and I'm glad that this nightmare is finally over. I would not recommend Warby Parker to anyone!

Warby Parker Bad experience

I have ordered a pair of glasses about a month ago and did not receive anything yet. I contacted Warby Parker customer service and spoke with their rep about my order. They claimed that they sent me a notification that my order was cancelled and that they asked me to contact them as soon as possible. I never received any messages from them and had no idea about my order being cancelled!
I said that I want my money back and they refused.
Don't trust Warby Parker and don't order anything from this website!

Warby Parker Terrible company!

I have ordered glasses from Warby Parker. My ordered included lens and frame. When my order arrived one lens was damaged and there was a big scratch. I immediately contacted Warby Parker customer service and asked them to fix it and they said that they can't change only one lens and that I need to buy a new frame as well! Well, it was their fault and not mine but they turned my life into a real nightmare. What a terrible company!

Warby Parker Really unprofessional, poor service!

I made an order and then received a message from Warby Parker with an offer to buy more expensive lens. My order was on hold until I responded to that email. I actually did not even checked my mail for days, so I had no idea that my order was on hold. After I told them that I didn't want more expensive lenses they said that my order would be shipped right away. That was at least three weeks ago. Few days ago I contacted Warby Parker customer service and their rep told that my order was cancelled. But the most interesting part is that no one bothered to reach out to let me know that my order was cancelled. It’s been two days now and still no information about the refund. I don’t know what to expect from them. I hope I’ll get my money back.

Warby Parker They lied to me and lost my prescription

My doctor prescribed me glases, so I went to the website www.warbyparker.com. I chose glases and paid for them. Everything was ok, but the rep hasn’t informed me if the glases were sent. I called them yesterday and the rep told me that they have lost my prescription and they couldn’t reach my doctor as well. I called to my doctor after that and asked about it, but he told that his worked as usual and no one called him. They lied to me. I don’t trust them anymore.

Warby Parker 2 months and still no sign of the sunglasses

I ordered sunglasses from the website www.warbyparker.com 2 months ago. When I placed the order, the seller provided the confirmation email, where it was mentioned that the delivery could take 10 days, but not 2 months. It was too much for me, so I returned to the website and asked for refund. Still no news, but I hope that they would return money back. But the company is completely irresponsible.

Warby Parker Awful quality of sunglasses

I bought two pairs of glasses from the company www.warbyparker.com. I got the sunglasses yesterday, but the quality was so poor that one pair arrived already damaged. The second pair looked like piece of crap. I took the order and returned it to the seller, but still no news from the seller. I want only my money and nothing else. I don’t need any wrangles. Please, maybe someone can help me.

Warby Parker They twice delivered wrong order

I ordered glasses from www.warbyparker.com. I got wrong pair glasses, but the seller ignored all my complaints. After that I ordered from them again, but they again failed to provide correct order. The company is total mess, so please stay away from them and post comments about your things with them. Share your views and post comments about this company.

Warby Parker They overcharge and provide bad-quality glasses

I twice ordered from the website www.warbyparker.com. I was really upset, ‘coz I choose the glasses and proceeded to pay, but the price on the website didn’t match with the price, which they took from me. Their customer services didn’t work and no one replied to my multiple emails. As well as the quality of glasses was bad. They are liars and scammers, and I want to find other deceived customers, who lost money. Please we need to stop this company and return our money. Post your comments.

Bought two pairs of glasses. Overcharged me as well. Warby Parker withdrew funds multiple times in succession, temporary costing me hundreds of dollars in excess of actual charges, only one charge of which corresponded to actual price. This can happen for all kinds of reasons, especially when purchasing online.
So, understanding that mistakes can happen, I call Warby Parker fully expecting that we'll work this out immediately, no big deal. The friendly representative essentially fabricates a story about how my salesperson had just sent me an email abut this (he had not) and that Warby Parker have already credited me the amount of the difference. They had not done so.
I had to get my bank involved and lodge an overcharge dispute.
So, while I have no problem with Warby in terms of their glasses, or even the fact that they may make a mistake now and again, I certainly do have a problem with lying, especially when it wasn't even necessary.
I wouldn't do business with them again

I've ordered 3 pair of glasses and 3 pair of sunglasses and all have been the best glasses I've ever had. Customer service has always been unbelievably good. Best people and company I've ever shopped.
