Walmart can't get my direct depsoit

For the thrid time this year i'ved to have a replacement card, each time it took two weeks to get my direct deposit of this card, I live from paycheck to paycheck you can't belive what I had to go through not being able to provide for my family for a month, now the card has expired and they are telling a card was sent that I never got so I got to way two more weeks to pay my bills this is unbelivable, i'm so stressed out from this i've come down with shingles, I can't take much more. I got my sister this same card and she put $48.00 dollars on it, she is on a fix income, she was going to pay a bill but decided to keep the money on the card incase of emergency, when she went to used the card about four months later there was no money on the card, they had charged her $5.00 per month just for holding the card that is devastaing. Its a shame that these people are getting away with taking people hard earn money and taking advantage of our seniors citizens this needs to be stopped

They are runing Christmas for my 3 children. Our deposit came in yesterday, went back out...within an hour. Then came back in today at 8 a.m...we got dressed, ready to go get the gfts. To be turned down at a gas station. Checked the balance...way low again $30.00 not $567.00. Called them AGAIN (like yesterday when it took all day)...said someone from IT will be calling. Trying to fix their computer problem.

I have young children who believe...we are struggling with money. Had this card for about 3 mons with no issues...them BOOM! This is horrible and ruining Christmas for our kids...tomorrow we will have NOTHING if not fixed right away.

People DO NEED TO READ THE FINE PRINT.

However, one thing that they are starting to do and I don't know whether it is Wal-Mart of GE Money Bank. Anyway, I have direct deposit from both of my jobs and get paid every week. Last week CSR wouldn't answer the telephone and when they finally did they told me they were having computer problems and that was the reason that my direct deposit wasn't in my account and I had to wait until 10:30 a.m. for it to deposit.

Now this week it is 6;00 a.m. (I worked 3rd shif) and my money is still not in my account again.

After you purchase the card, any money taken off is taken off by Green Dot Corporation, not Walmart.
"yall" need to get your facts straight.

Mind you there is a fee when you activate the card...but I'm sure you already knew that since you were smart enough to read the packaging BEFORE you purchased it, right?

...

Guess not.

Theres a monthly fee, reloading fee, certain other fees for certain transactions such as withdrawing money from the card...
And guess who collects those fees? Green Dot Corporation.
Walmart is a distributor, Green Dot runs the account.
Blame them, and yourself. Mostly yourself.

Walmart buyer beware

For Christmas, I wanted to give my kids (all in their late teens and early twenties) some extra spending money. I thought it would be nice if it wasn't just cash so that they could wait and use it when they wanted to buy something they wanted.

I heard about the WalMart 'Smart Money' prepaid VISA card. VISA should be horrified. They charged me a fee of about $8 per card to load the card. Then when my kids went to use the card they found out about all of the other fees.

Fee to check balance, fee to reload the card (its not enough that they get to use your money - they want a ridiculous fee of another $8+ to reload it).

If you don't use it all in one month, they charge another fee about $4.

This is an excuse to steal and steal from those who can least afford it.

Another example of a once good company turned not just bad but in my opinion, what they are doing with this card is robbery and evil.

By the way, you don't find out about the fees until you have purchased the card - they aren't disclosed up front.

BUYER BEWARE!

We purchased a Vizio TV from Walmart for 178.00
We went home and got everything set up to the point where we turned it on.
The TV did not turn on!

Customer Service was closed by the time we had put everything back into the box to take back.
So we waited first thing in the morning. We went back to Walmart Customer Service and they told
us that the TV's serial number and the serial number on the Box did not match. We were confused
and had no clue what was really going on we just wanted to return the TV and get a working one.

The manager in electronics told the girl in Customer Service that there was NOTHING they could do about it! That manager didn't even wanna come up front to tell us herself. Location: Salt Lake City, UT @ the 1300 south Walmart. Electronics Manager! They didn't even wanna give us our money back or even trade for a WORKING TV! Stupid!

My question is...how do boxes get packed with the wrong product and get sold like that?
Or if it was returned prior to our purchase how did it get back into Walmart with out Customer Service seeing that?

Why would Walmart wanna rip people off like that, I loved shopping at Walmart, but after that incident,
NO MORE! I would rather pay more and get what I paid for than pay less and get ripped OFF!

Walmart should be ashamed, especially the Managers.

Walmart decline

I got a walmart money card and I have 100.00 dollars on it and I went to order something online and it kept saying it was declined because of sufficient funds, and whatever I was trying to order was $88.95 so I know I had enough on there for the item I needed.

I got a $50.00 gift card which cost over $54.00. When I tried to make online orders my card was declined but the order was still charged to the card. I feel like such a sucker!

I hardly ever have money to spend and for this to just be a total loss is pretty sad. Plus, I can't count the times I've had to enter my card number dealing with ordering and now trying to contact some kind of customer service.

They just give you the electronic runaround.

What I want to know is, who has the money? The merchants or VISA or Walmart? I sure don't have it! I paid good money for this card and I feel cheated and foolish for even stepping foot in Walmart again.

Walmart fraudulent billing

Wal-Mart will not let me cancel my insurance until Oct. 2009. I have another job that covers me but wal-mart says that I have to keep it until open enrollment. They are still deducting from my check the amount for insurances but will not pay for services rendered. When ever the dentist filed a claim, it came back coverage expired. But I am still paying for insurance! They are still deducting it out of my little check!

Are you still working part-time at Walmart and the other job is a second job? That's the only way this makes sense. As for dentist bills, are you sure you are actually covered? Dental is separate and their is a one year waiting period for major dental coverage. Up until you've had the insurance for a year, it only covers routine exams and preventative. More info is needed on this.

Walmart awful service

I went to this particular Walmart to get two tires balanced and put on my truck. Seems like a pretty simple job to me, but not for these folks. I should have known better, the gentleman in front of me needed a tail light replaced. They removed a clear bulb and replaced it with a yellow one!

Anyway, I told the young man behind the counter what I needed done and told him that occasionally my clutch would stick to the floor which could be popped back up with his foot. He said that was fine, no problem. It was a two hour wait, which I agreed to and left for a while.

I returned in two hours to see my truck sitting outside of the garage door and the tires had not been put on. I went inside to see maybe if I was next in line and the boy told me I had no brakes and needed to get my truck towed. I told him my brakes were fine and went to see for myself. I got into my truck and pushed the brakes and brake fluid came pouring out.

I was very upset at this point and the automotive manager came out and told me I should get it towed. I asked him what had happened and he said there were no brakes in my truck when the went to pull it in. I told him my brakes were just fine I had just driven it there. He proceeded to tell me that I couldn't have driven it there because the brakes were busted before they had got into the truck.

I was fuming at this point because I know my brakes were fine and now I had a busted brake line. Of course, I had to get it towed and when the tow truck driver got there I tried to pull my truck onto it and SURPRISE! My clutch was busted as well. I refuse to ever go back to this Walmart and have considered taking this to small claims court.

I drive my truck everyday back and forth to work with no problem. I just find it coincidental that my brake line and clutch was busted at the same time in Walmart's care. I am lost at this point and do not believe I am responsible for something they had done.

i had a similar situation where they broke my seat. they said they would fix it until they found out that it would cost 1000 dollars. they then turned it over to their insurance company.wal marts insurance company said they were not responsible for the employee breaking my seat because it happened as a result of the employee carrying out his job duty. I asked if he had ran my jeep into the building would it still not be their fault because it is his job to drive it inside! GOOD LUCK!

Walmart can't receive text bal or a lerts to cell phone as instructed

The prepaid Walmart money card visa has become a mess. I was very happy eith it but now all of a sudden I can't get my bal to my phone per the 96862 number, the daily text alerts that are suposed to del. bal doesn't work. When I called customer service I had to pay a $2.00 fee and then they said they had no control that it was my phone co. that's not true because the walgreens greendot visa works just fine. The problem is with Walmart and this needs to be fixed. This is suposed to be a convience for us the consumer but it has turned into a great hassle. Walmart will be happy to take my money but won't deliver their promises. The card is useless if you can check your bal when you need to. Someone needs to fix this problem or I will take my money somewhere else.

"prepaid Walmart money card visa", "walgreens greendot visa", "problem is with Walmart", "Walmart will be happy to take my money"

God I don't know where to start raging.

Guess what? That fancy Walmart MoneyCard of your's, its a GreenDot card. Just like The Walgreens one. Same company. Same customer service. Notice that nifty green dot on the card that says GreenDot? Yeah. [censored].

Walmart, just like Walgreens, sells the cards, which are produced and serviced by GREEN DOT.
Main difference? Walmart is actually less expensive to purchase and reload.
According to Walgreens' website, its almost $10 to purchase one. Its only $3 at Walmart.

Also: The problem isn't Walmart. It might be GreenDot, it might be your cellphone provider, but it's probably you.
Walmart sold you the card. Of course you didn't read anything on the packaging, made stupid assumptions about how it works, and now you look like an idiot.

"Walmart will be happy to take my money"
The money you give Walmart to put on your card...guess what? It goes on your card. Walmart gets a whopping $3 out of whatever it is you are loading onto your cart.
GreenDot collects the monthly fees. They probably even get a share of the $3 reloading fee.

Walmart I can't activate card

I have tried to activate the card and they said that I need the activation number on the receipt. Of course I don't have it. I called the person that I got it from and they don't have the receipt any more. So how do you activate the card. This is so rediculous that you have to have a number to activate a card. When someone purchases the card the people need to make sure the person who is purchasing the card tells them you need the receipt with the card. You can't you us the number on the card and the 3 numbers on the back. This has taken time out of my business day. It is frustration to me.

iin April of 2008 I took my van to a WIchita Wal Mart for an oil change. When I returneed a large window was smashed out. tHEY TOLD ME IT WAS THAT WAY WHEN i BROUGHT IT IN AND DIDN'T NOTICE IT. I wrote about it on this site. I have since went to small cLaims court where they showed a pitiful security tape of my van approaching the shop. They convinced the judge the window was broken out because you could see through the window. I invited the judge to go out and look at my van windows and see you can see through them. He wouldn't listen. I appealed but I had no lawyer and they did. They pulled the same story and had 2 witrnesses who lied through their teeth. Thei lawyer said they didn't want a transcript but I requessted one-thank goodness. Again the judge didn't look at the pictures clearly. He didn't notice in the picture I took right after it was broken that you can clearly see 2 vehicles (1 a Wal Mart truck) thriugh the wundow on the opposite side. OBVIOUSLY YOU CAN SEE TRHOUGH THE WINDOWS. tHEY PRESENTED A DAMAGE REPORT STATING THE WINDOW WAS BROKEN WHEN iIBROUGHT IT IN BUT NO MENTION OF A BROKEN WINDOW IS ON THE WORK SHEET. tHE "GREETER" SAID HE WALkED AROUND MY VAN IN A "WALK AROUND" AND NOTED THE BROKEN WINDOW. hOWEVER THE SECURITY FILM CLEARLY SHOWS HE NEVER SET FOOT AROUND THE VAN. THERe IS AN INSIDE SHOT THAT SHOWS A GLARE ON THE WINDOW AS IT WENT INSIDE. iT'S VERY ODD THAT DURING THE WHOLE TAPE NO ONE IS SEEN TO BE WORKING ON THE VAN-IS SOME OF The TAPE MISSING? THERE ARE OUTRIGHT WRONGFUL STATEMENTS BY BOTH WITNESSES. i'D LIKE TO FIND PEOPLE INTERESTED IN A CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT. i STILL HAVE A SIGN OVER THE WINDOW SPACE SAYING, "ASK ME HOW I LIKED MY WAL MART OtL CHANGE!" THE RESPONSES HAVE BEEN OVER WHELMING. THE MAIN COMPLAINTS ARE: OIL PLIGS LEFT OUT RESULTING IN A BURNED UP MOTOR, OIL FILTERS INCORFRECTLY INSTALLED, AND WHEELS THAT CAME OFF AFDTER WHEEL/TIRE WORK. i DOL NOT HAVE A COMPUTER SO HAVE TO GO ON LINE IN LIBRARIES. I'D WELCOME A CONTGACT AT [protected]. iIHAVE THE WHOLE TRANSCRIPT AND SECURITY TAPE. I MANAGHED TO FILE WITH APPELLATE COURT BUT COULD NOT FINISH THE PROCESS ON MY OWN. I JUST AGREED IN COURT TO DROP THATG PROCESS WITH THE UNDERSTANDING I WOULD EXPLORE OTHER AVENUES. SIGNED, A MAD GRANNY IN KANSAS

Walmart 1800 number

you want to know why there's no jobs for americans, because they have layed real people off so that the computer can do peoples jobs. i absolutly hate calling 1800 numbers where u call and a computer ask u questions and ur response is "i'm sorry I'm having a hard time understanding u.", then u have to keep repeating yourself over and over intil the computer understands you. i called this walmart visa activation number to activate my new card and i had to call three times because the computer counldn't understand how to spell my name, this, and like everyone else i was charged 2$ to give my information that they wantede. i bought this card to pay my bills so i wouldn't be charged extra fees, like to pay my light bill it cost me 1.25$, my gas 1.00$, and now my cable company charges me .99 to send a paper bill and 1.00$ to pay it at the office. so i got this card to pay my bills online only to find out that i have more service fees, and a 1800 number i can;t get through to. Walmart poor quality eyeglasses

I purchased a pair of cheap eyeglasses at walmart, only to find them, at time of pickup, with two right-side lenses. To make an analogy, it was as if they'd given me a pair of shoes for my right foot. The mistake was so blatantly visible, that no minor oversight can explain - whoever put these glasses together paid no attention to what he or she was doing whatsoever. But I don't blame the individual, because as it is he/she was probably grossly underpaid.
In addition, the frame corroded easily, and broke down the center after exactly 11 months. Because I needed a new pair in a hurry, and because I partly blamed the failure on me, I purchased a second identical pair, only to see it too corrode and break down the center after 7 months, exactly as the first did. The frame corroded easily and broke after 0.5 - 1 year, despite claims that these were made of titanium alloy, a downright lie, because titanium alloy would never corrode and failin so short a period of time of average usage.

I could complain about walmart service but I won't. I restrict my complaint to the horrendous quality of the glasses I purchase: and hey, they've gotta cut cost somewhere. In all honesty, I'd rather they cut in quality than cut it via third world sweatshops that employ child labour, but neither is justifiable.

Walmart fraudulent charges

I purchased a Walmart pre-paid Visa card and WOW what a total ripoff that is. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE is all I can say. I bought a $20 prepaid Visa card total cost for purchase- $24.95. Then when I went to use my card I only had $9.57 on the card. What the heck is that!

I tryed to call a customer service representative for walmart visa prepaid at their 800# for help with this problem only to hear a recording that if I use their customer service for this is issue there would be a charge of $2.00 on my card. OMG!This is a total Rip Off and I am so disgusted with this. Sure, it's only about $25 bucks I'm out of but hey...add that with another 100, 000 consumers buying these cards for just that amount alone and thats a total of $2, 500, 000 for the walmart pocket.

I look at walmart in a whole new way now...I'm sure glad our town has other stores to spend my hard earned money in and not have to worry about getting ripped off. Walmart used to be Customer Friendly...Obviously that has changed!

Walmart -dangerous - could kill small children

Recently I was shopping in the goose creek s. c. walmart.. as I was shopping in the fresh (?) produce section. I noticed a mexico women with three small children handling the produce. as I passed behind her I noticed that her hands were filthy and her children were coughing into the produce itself. and to throw in the towel. one child was blowing her nose without the use of a wipe.. needless to say I replaced what I had picked up. not knowing weather she had been there before me. well... dip-# why don`t you just put plastic doors in front of the produce? before you give all of us hemolytic streptococci (causes several illnesses in humans) if I get sick because of your neglect. I will come looking for you! (ceo) and stuff this crap down your throat! ex - ranger

The people you see handling your food at the grocery store are not the first slobs to have touched it. Every item in the fruit/veg section[along with anything that is sold unwrapped and 'fresh' ] has been handled by many..many other people before you, from the very facility the fruit is grown at to the greasy delivery guy.

If you make sure to properly wash all your food[and yes, buying organic does matter], you can get rid of the contamination's as best as possible.

Walmart owes me $85.42

I purchased credit card (temporary visa) for my friend . I tried to put money on the card because we are in the same business and he must use a credit card . I bought a Green Dot Money Pak card and put 85.42 on the card. The card took the money and advise me that the could card was not reloadable and they (Greendot Money Pak )would mail the money back to me. I never received the money nor did he. I felt bad because I didn't want him to think I took his money. Dumb me bought another card. They advise me I need to fax my light bill and my driver's license to get a card that's not temporary. I faxed twice at the Money store. Each time they told me they never received it. Plus they hung up on me three times. I asked to speak to a manager. I put them on speaker phone and held for three hours. Is this a joke ! They told me they never recieved my fax and I advised them I have the confirmation number that they did. I just want my $85.42 back. I don't know who to call but something is wrong. I am really upset .

Very curious to have this kind of trouble with the Green Dot-Money Pak card. PayPal's number one item for use...(to be able to add money into your paypal account.)

I bought one...at Radio Shack, the closest place to me that sells them. I put $100 on the card, and then went right to the web page at www.moneypak.com, and there are 3 options to click on and select: [1.} Reload this pre-paid card {2.} Add funds to PayPal for instant online spending {3.} Make a same day payment, cell phones, utility bills, credit cards, etc...

So YES they are reloadable, because I have now re-loaded it 4 times since...and wonderful option to be able to add funds to your PayPal account, because I buy things on-line all the time especially Amazon.com, and because they accept paypal, it is the safest way to pay instead of loading on your debit/credit card numbers! I have had a paypal account for years...with never a problem, it is very secure, and you are also protected in-case of fraud (but has never happened)

So the Green Dot- Money Pak card is NOT the problem, it sounds like the problem WAS Walmart!

Walmart wont activate

I bought a visa debit card for my sister for christmas, she is now trying to activate the card and it wants her ssn# address. this is insane. there is not another pre-paid debit card out there that wants that information and that you are suppose to wait 7-10 days to use the card. i put 25.00 on the card plus it cost 8.94 to load the money on there and she cant even use the thing. i will never buy another card at walmart again. my sister is very disappointed and that makes me angry. i also went on this website to activate and their is not a place on here to activate the card. i NEED help with this issue. Thank you christina smith

I really appreciate the fact that even I can use a credit card, but the Walmart Visa Card has too many charges. You are being charged to activate the card, reload money onto the card, and a monthly fee is deducted. I think that Walmart should be a little more considerate when it comes to the difficult times that we are all falling victim to. They should at least fargo the monthly fee and reduce the reload amount.

I just got an e-mail from your company that my balance is zero and I haven't used my card since Oct. 7th.
Some one used my card unauthorized. I had a balance of 91.00 and some odd cents. What happened and what can I do to get this money back?

I completely agree! This walmart is aweful, I've gone to other walmarts around the area and they are so much nicer and the store is stocked and clean! I wish they didn't run Kmart out of business, I'd rather have Kmart here!

Walmart theft

This is in reference to the self check out lanes at walmart which has now costed me and my husband a Theft accusation charge! We were shopping on the 29th of December at the South Point Ohio Store and as it turned out we as well had did our after Christmas gift returns. So we proceeded to shop after returning about $173.00 worth of item purchased for Christmas and we bought roughly about $125.00 worth of things mostly little & cheap items. One of Our items was a Sweeper that we needed for our home and it was the cheapest one they carried as well. So as we went to leave we seen that all lanes were terribly crowded so against normal routine we chose to go through the self checkout and as we fought " as we normally do " with our 7 year old about candy we as well had to deal with our 2 year old boy who always has a hard time with checkout due to the overwhelming site of candy bars and gum that are always present at the check out of about any store. So in the midst of doing that I got stuff out of the buggy so my husband could ring it up and he had just learned how to unload the bag area so that the computer would not freeze due to removing things just scanned. But instead he was waiting for it to show the scan & bad prompt so he could remove items from the bagging area for when making a one hundred dollar purchase the two little bag slots is not enough space so you must wait on the bag prompt and then unload so you can scan and rebag more items. So after getting a full buggy of bags filled with merchandise we paid and started to exit, when while walking I said "you scanned the stuff on bottom right " my husband then grabbed the receipt right out of my hand quickly and I could see his eyes looking over the items on it. He then stopped me with his arm and was going to say we need to go back and pay for the sweeper but the Big Bad "God" of walmart and his bag boy side kick stepped in front of our cart and asked if we could step into a side room which we did with no problem . This prevention officer was so rude and arrogant it was almost unbelieveable, he then began to make remarks in front of my children about how we was not slick enough and that we almost made it except and then he would ask a question instead of finishing the statement! My husband then " Understandably" became very mad and said some things back in our defense about the security at the store as well as picking on us because of a mistake! Long and short of the matter is we were not out to rip off anything and after are purchase we still had several hundred dollars but we was made out to be thieves and was charged accordingly ! this is wrong and should not be acceptable in todays world of justice and equality! My Husband and I are in court on Friday in the Lawerence Co Municiple court which is located in Chesapeake Ohio at 9am. i hope that justice prevails and the truth is brought to light! No matter what Walmart should be highly ashamed and we will be glad to never step foot back in one ever !

On December 3 2007 i was in walmart shopping for christmas presents for my children. I had been in the store for about an hour and was ready to leave when i remembered i need some makeup, so i headed to the makeup department and found what i was looking for but couldn't remember the color i needed. So i picked up the two i thought were closes and compared them. After a few minutes i decided on one and put the other one back. I placed the other one on top of the toys in the child seat part (my purse was underneath). As i was trying to find and register that didn't have 7 people in it the makeup most likely slipped down and fell beside my purse. By then i was irrated about the long lines and decided to go through the self checkout. I placed my items on the belt and scanned them and payed for them.. I forgot i had the makeup and didn't see it sitting there so i continued to the door. As i was passing the security area a man came up behind me and asked if i had anything i didn't pay for. My heart sank and i said OH MY GOD I totally forgot about the makeup... He ended up taking me and my boyfriend into a room in the front of the building.. He was very rude about this situation and said "where did the other stuff you stole go?" I said i didn't steal anything and the only thing i forgot to pay for was this peace of makeup. He continued to say "i was watching you and you had two things of makeup that you took where did the other one go?" I told him i only put one in my cart and i fully intended to pay for it. They asked how much money i had on me and told me they were going to give me a warning and i was no longer aloud in and Walmart of Sams Club store for the rest of my life. Is this fair and is it legal for them to ban me from there store when no charges were filed and i wasn't even fined?

People don't always use paragraphs here, or they use them at the wrong time. But it is better than talking like Captain Kirk. where. every. single. word. is. a. sentence.

Are you upset because of what WalMart did, or because you need makeup so your husband thinks you're a frightening Minotaur beast without it?

I had a very hard time reading this complaint. It didn't have complete sentences or complete words. I thought a kid wrote this. The texting and iming slang is for just that not message boards, blogs and places where you want to get your story heard and understood. I have read quite a few of the complaints on this board and said "HUH" because they weren't written in complete sentences and words where abbreviated.
I just don't understand when there is no restriction on how much you write why someone would just not type everything out and sound intelligent. Not being able to type is not a good excuse.
I don't mean to be rude but I know people are more intelligent than what they sound like in some of the complaints but they sound like they are written by 5 year olds.
