We're pretty sure that if Walmart showed up wayyyy more often on ComplaintsBoard and paid more attention to reviews and complaints, it would lead to better results. Walmart killing products

When my son was born he was put in the hospital at 2 days old due to an infection around his brain and spine, also know as spinal mennegitis. After a few weeks he was released and given prescriptions. I went to the wal mart pharmacy in my town and had them filled. The man behind the counter was very nice but in very much a hurry. I took the perscrips. home and gave them to my son 3 days went by when we noticed he was getting sicker instead of better, so I took him back to the dr. and we found out the prescription labels had been switched and he 3 was ripple overdosing on one med and only getting a quarter of what was needed for the other. As you can imagine I was very very very mad.!

So after the dr.s office I went back into wal mart and they told me that the pharmacy was getting ready to close when I had the prescriptions filled and thats prob. why the man was in a hurry and mixed them up. (I DON'T CARE!) Then they told me when this happens they usually refund the money and give people 5 free prescriptions. Now my first reaction to them was o.k. so your saying you do this a lot! Well she said no but then my next reaction was to let everyone in the line for the pharmacy know what they did, so I got a bit loud and told them you almost killed my newborn son and you actually expect me to take 5 free prescriptions from you idiots when the 2 I paid for you couldn't even get right! So then they had a manager come up and talk to me who just kept shoving a release form in my face to sign. I told him to shove it in his (you know) and told him after I sue him and own the f---ing store he would be fired.

Now I haven't followed through with this because I thought this was a once in a lifetime mistake, but lately I have been hearing a lot of this and some people have actually died. If anyone else out there has ran into this kind of thing let me know. Or if you know a good attorney for this kind of thing please let me know.

Walmart ridiculous pricing

Well, the pictures were beautiful and the photographer was good, but their pricing is horrible now. Also, they don't tell you about the real deals. Those $5 and $7 packages are just to get you to come there and then they try to make you spend tons on all of these enhanced pictures for extra instead of letting you see the unenhanced ones as well. She told us that a digital cd was $119! They are nuts, you can get a $10 package and a digital cd at Sears for $40 pretty much all year around. If it were like that pricing, then we would have bought the cd too. They don't do proof sheets anymore either, which really sucks, I liked having those to reference for ordering more pictures, especially when you want to show relatives who want to order more. On top of that, she got my husband to buy a smiles club card. She failed to tell us (or we didn't hear her because she was talking like a million miles a second to try to sell the expensive stuff) that they have a gift collection which includes the smiles card for $30. Then she tells us that if we don't get one of those signature collections which are like freakin $60 and way more, that they charge a $10 surcharge to come in and get more sheets of different poses. They are crazy! From now on, it will be Olan Mills or Sears thank you very much. Walmart is too expensive on pricing for what they offer. Honestly, I have done pictures of my nephews and neices myself that everyone thought was professional and better than Walmart. It seems like no one likes what they do in general. Basically, Walmart is full of crap and any dealings with them or the stores inside the centers will leave you screwed. They teach them to hurry people in and out, sell them on as much as you can without giving them a fair deal, etc.

Thank you all for your comments. I have been waiting since 12/6/2011 for my $200. gift card. Walmart doesn't know anything nor does Time Warner/ Comcast. Hopefully now I am armed with the correct information. I recd an email which stated my card had been credited with $50. ...But no directions where the card is or what you have to do to get the card. AND...where is the other $150.

i have the same problem i switch my phone and internet and was promised a 150 walmart gift card and have not been able to use it! i did the comcast rebate center thing and it says i would only get 25 dollars! i was also told nothing would be change but the amount of my bill! now i find out i had to get holes and new cords run into the house and that my router will not work anymore and now i have to go buy a new one (the old one cost me 100 bucks)! This is a big rip off, i have gone through every step they told me to do and still have not recieved anything other than a notice saying its still being processed! I have called comcast and they seem to have NO idea about it! I have called the guy that stopped me in the store and he just tells me that it takes time for it to process! BULL! Not a happy customer either!

Same here. I have called many times and still no $200 rebate. I signed up in November 2009 and still have no rebate. This was one of the reasons I switched from Verizon. Overall I think Verizon is a better company. They gave me a choice of a digital camera or a $200 gift card. I chose a camera and it was sent in less then two weeks aftr signing up. Comcast has good movies on demand and I save money on my business phone. Those two things are the only good things I can say about Comcast because they are near to the bottom in customer service as well. Do not trust everything the smooth talking sales reps tell you. Unhappy customer here in Delaware.

There is a process for the express payback card or rebate from WalMart. The reason why Comcast doesn't know about it is because the rebate and card is WalMart's thing, NOT COMCAST. In order to get the rebates (I have gotten one myself and the card) you have to mail your rebate forms with a copy of your entire bill (not just the first page) so if there is 4 pages to your bill, send all of them in with the rebate forms that you get from the WalMart/Comcast representative. If you get the forms/ card from a Walmart employee but not a representative of Comcast you have to then call Comcast to place an order. The order must be placed the same day the rebates are printed out. Once your service is installed you have to follow the process:

WalMart Rebates for Comcast Services:
1) Copy of the entire 1st or 2nd months bill
2)Mail the rebate forms along with the 1st months bill to the address on the rebate forms
(its a PO Box in New Jersey)
3) You have to mail this out within 120 days after install
4) It takes 3-4 months to receive the rebate in the mail
*If you don't qualify for the rebate you will get a post card in the mail. You qualify if you are a new residential customer to Comcast Digital cable, HD, Internet or Digital Voice.

WalMart Express Payback Card:
1) You must have an install date and time the same day your card information is printed out.
2) You must go through with install
3) Call the number on the paper work [protected] or go to www.comcastrebatecenter.com to activate the card.
4) After activating the card you have to wait 6-8 weeks to receive the funds on the card
*If you don't qualify for the card you will get an email if you provided one. If you didn't you can go to the website or call that number again to see the card update. Promotional offer is only available to new Comcast residential customers subscribing to Comcast Digital Voice, Digital Cable, Digital Cable with HD services or Comcast Basic customers upgrading to Comcast Digital Cable or Comcast Digital Cable with HD, in Comcast serviceable areas. Must not have been a Comcast customer for the qualifying service within 120 days prior to order date, or terminated such service twice before. Service must be ordered from participating Wal-Mart locations. Limit one card per household. Activation of service must be completed within 60 days from order date. Card must be registered within 60 days from service activation date.

It might seem like alot of work, but I have gotten both the card for $200 last December for internet and cable and this year the rebates were a little less for cable and phone ($75 cable $75 internet) So I got the $150 check for cable and internet hook up. So, read the paperwork people.

Walmart scam

Well, it seems Walmart Automotive is the leader in the old bait and switch scam..one year ago I bought 4 brand new tires for my car and then was talked into the "lifetime guarantee" for each tire I purchased. I made sure and asked repeatedly does this mean if anything happens to my tires they will be replaced free of charge" I was told everytime "yes Mam".. well, two months ago I had a flat tire so I called and again asked about my lifetime guarantee will my tire be replaced free of charge? the Woman I spoke to look up my info and said "yes Mam according to your lifetime guarantee contract it will be free of charge" so I went in and that's where the song and dance began..all they kept saying (once they had me there in person) was "you'll have to pay a fee if more then 25% of your tire has been used" they called it a "25% usage fee"..funny, that fee was never mentioned when I was conned into pay alot more for the "lifetime replacement guarantee" for each of my new tires had they told me that I would NOT have paid that extra money and they knew it! What really made me mad was when the mechanic said "if you pay for another lifetime guarantee on this replacement tire I will let you have it for free" I said hell no.. What good is a lifetime guarantee when you still have to pay for service they are allegedly guarantee for a lifetime..when I pointed this out to him he finally relented and gave me my free tire as per our agreement..well, now it's (flat tire) happened again (btw different tire) so I again called them this time they flat out refused to honor their "lifetime guarantee" for my new tires..so basically they have my money for a guarantee they refuse to honor and I have a flat tire I cannot afford to fix..thank God we have a spare I can use until I get up the money to buy a new tire or have this one fixed, but I swear to any God you name I will NEVER do Automotive business with Walmart again and I WILL warn my Friends to steer clear of them as well! Walmart Automotive employees are con artists and thieves and the only way they can prove to me they are not is to either start honoring the lifetime guarantee for each tire I paid extra for or refund that money I paid initially! So beware of Walmarts' "lifetime warranty" on their tires that you pay extra for..it is WORTHLESS! Also keep in mind I bought 4 brand new tires about 1 year ago and now 2 out of 4 have gone flat therefore beware of quality of tires from Walmart in general!

To day I went to Walmart for a oil change one car in shop for oil change in bay #2 arrival time 2011-03-31;02:03 was told to pull into bay #1 I parked car at bay door and went inside to wait observe employe pulled 9mins. later .There was a lady inside whose car went into bay # 2 just ahead of mine we waited and observed together and about 20 mins. of goofing off someone raised hood on both car and put finder covers on both cars about that time a car was pulled into bay #3 for a battery almost 30mins.later after the lady and myself trying to find out why no one was working on our cars, they began working both cars and at 03:10 shop person came into waiting room with key to my car and my car was ready but the ladies car would be a while longer. I protested the time that it took change oil and was told that they had tires top check in and they were sorry for my wait.Ask for store manager to be called but to no avail so told that I live near the KIA plant in Georgia and that a new KIA rolls off the line every 24mins.and I don't think it should take a hour to change oil and filter that it took me at home about 20mins . I paid my bill of $40.44 add left never to return for oil change at Walmart.

Today, October 18 at around 2:30 p.m. I took my car to walmart for a new tire. I pulled my paperwork for the road side assistance program and reviewed it with the walmart technician (Matt) he informed me that I would have to pay $5 for balancing and $10 for road side assistance on the new tire. They were backlogged so I left the vehicle and went home. 3 hours later upon returning, I was informed my car would be $88 for the repair. I explained to the very rude checkout lady (Shelly) what Matt had previously instructed me. I ask to speak with the manager. The assistant manager came back and said, "sorry nothing I can do" We later spoke with Tansy at the service desk and she "if we had been called" regarding the price change, we told her NO, she then went back and talked with the Automotive department with me. She spoke with several different people and kept apologizing that she was unable to do anything, but she also agreed that we should get the tire for the price quoted. Shelly, the checkout lady continued to mimic and trash talk to Tansy about us and the situation. We finally left Walmart 45 minutes later and $61 dollars lighter. I plan to contact the local media not only because it was wrong but just the general attitude of the clerk has me ticked off!. Store located in Katy Texas

First off don't be stupid, there is no life time waranty on tires from any walmart. It's called a road hazard waranty. I have it on my tires. second, you are ###ed, just why is it that you think tires go flat? I wonder if maybe you are just ignorant about anything automotive. Since you have no idea what you are saying I'll Explain it for you. If you get a nail or whatever stuck in your tire IT WILL GO FLAT. if you never check your tires, they do lose air over time and will eventualy GO FLAT. If you have devious kids around where you live eventualy one or more tires WILL END UP FLAT. The most agravating part about this is where you said somthing rather ###ed about the quality of the tires. Wal-mart does not make their own tires. They are shipped to them from vendors such as GoodYear and Michelin tires plants, both well known and respected manufacturers. Third don't be an ignorant shopper get this crap in writing. Millions of companies have to pay out billions becouse people like you cry oh my god you broke my car becouse they figure it's a huge company they can afford it. Grow up, learn from it, that is if it realy even happened and get your poo in writing.

Walmart wal-mar rips you off on prepaid cellphones

I bought a Net 10 prepaid phone because the price per minutes is set at 10 cents. I also bought 400 minutes. After about 3 months, the phone stopped working. I paid around $50 for the phone alone. I attempted to return it to Wal-Mart in Stephenville, Texas where I bought it, but after talking to an assistant store manager and several electronics dept. "associates", they refused to refund my purchase price. The "associates" even admitted the phones "are a piece of crap" (their words) yet they sure don't mind suckering people into buying them. I ended up with a worthless phone and a lot of minutes, also non-refundable. Keep in mind that Tracfone, the biggest ripoff in the world of prepaid phones, also owns Net 10. It's just another avenue for them to ripoff people around the world. When you buy minutes from Tracfone or Net 10, you will NEVER get a refund on airtime bought, so you would have to be an IDIOT to buy one of their "year" plans. If anything goes wrong, which is almost guaranteed, you're screwed!
And Wal-Mart is just as big a ripoff for selling merchandise from such scam companies that provide the poorest customer service on the planet. And by the way, the "associates" at the Stephenville, Texas Wal-Mart will do ANYTHING to avoid you if you simply ask them for help of any kind. They are very unfriendly. They have a grouchy old lady working in electronics that looks at you like you're a common criminal if you're shopping, yet never bothers to ask "May I help you?". They should have gotten rid of her long ago.

I've had Net 10 for nearly 5 years. Wal Mart is an agent or vendor for Net 1o, not like a Verizon store or such. Additionally, the program with Net 10 is pay flat rate, get lots of minutes with no daily fee.

The individual with the failed phone and the minutes should have called Net 10. And anyway, he could have took one of the phone with minute deals for a new phone (29.95) with 300 free minutes (30.00 worth) and basically replaced his phone. Net 10 would have gladly transferred his service and number (I've done it online for free on the Net 10 website for free, it's easy enought o do without help form Net 10) So the bottom line is I'm sorry the individual had a bad phone, but his complaint against Wal Mart and Net 10 is without any foundation, because he could have replaced the defective phone for FREE, had his number, service time and minutes transferred over to his/her new phone and benn better off than before.

It comes down to people (this guy included) do not want to become knowledgeable shoppers. He needed to call Net 10 (number on www.net10.com) NOT Tracphone. TracPhone is the parent of Net 10. He could have gone on line to Net 10 and chatted or called, or simply folled the online prompts to solve his problem. It's EASIER TO BELLYACHE and COMPLAIN than to take charge and responsibility for ones problems.

Net 10 is fantastic! They have helped me time after time to continue my service and keep my minutes. Last December right before Christmas I had a Net 10 phone stolen. Net 10 helped me transfer my minutes and service time to a new phone with no hassle at all! Anyone complaining about Net 10 has not taken advantage of their easy to use web site or customer service.

You should have bought a cheaper model, to test the waters with Net10.

There are some basic phones available that are $30, and they come with 300 minutes free. So, you are really paying for the minutes, and getting the phone for free. Great way get a new phone every so often.

Sometimes my husband and I get these, transfer our old phone numbers (and minutes/airtime credits) to the new phone. Then we use the old phone as a back-up battery charger... keeping it charging, while we use the other one. We have been using Net10 for over 3 years, and think it is a great.

The return policy is 15 days, so 3 months later doesn't qualify for a return. You could have easily found this out. I've used a low-end Net10 at one point for a year (from Walmart, not that it matters) and it worked just fine, also when speaking to Tracfone's reps they were willing to replace the phones by shipment if anything was wrong. I hear so many people attacking Walmart because it doesn't have an indefinate return policy, I hate people like this.

While Wal-Mart is being quite unreasonable about not letting you return the phone, you're being unreasonable by saying that Wal-Mart is bad for selling products from a company that YOUR OPINION states is a "scam." You could be the only one out of a billion people who thinks they're a scam. Wal-Mart is a business, a resource for people to buy products. They can't cut an entire product line and displease potential customers just because one person is pissing like a little girl. Grow up.

Walmart return of phone

I have shopped at walmart for years, not anymore! I was to leave for vacation and everyone suggested I get a pay as you go phone. So I thought ok I could pick this up at walmart. I went there to get a phone which the electronics guy didn't seem to know a whole lot, but I could figure this simple thing out, so I purchased the T-Mobile pay as you go along with a extra minutes card.

I get home load the phone, try again and agian to load the sim card only the little clip is broken that holds card in place, so the next morning I 'm supposed to leave at 5 am for vacation, I stop by walmart and they do not open until 6am. This is okay I'm only gonna lose a hour travel, was I ever wrong on that, I go to customer service to return phone and was told I needed to go to electronics they would be able to help me.

I get back to that department and the gril there tells me they don't open that up for service until 9am. This is total to long for me to wait, so I go back to the service desk and just asked to return the phone and extra minutes card, and the guy calls over the shift manager(PAT) and I explain how this doesn't work and would like them to remove this from my credit card. While she is sifting through the bag she comes across the minutes card and the seal is scratched off she refuses to return the card. At this point its 7am and I try to explain it's not my fault the damn phone and card is missing the seal, this was my first experience purchasing both products.

I told her I didn't appreciate the way I was being treated and that I would never step foot in there or any other walmart for the rest of my life. I would spend approx. 600.00- 1500.00 per month at their store with grocery's and misc. things. I was very disappointed in the whole experience of trying to return this product, and plan to shop at TARGET, MEJIER, AND ANY OTHER STORE OTHER THAN WALMART.

Walmart price adjustment

I purchased a food product at the price shown and was charged a different price at the register. I took the manager and showed her the price shown, she, removed the price tag and said that it was incorrect. I did not purchase the article at the increased price at the register. If a price is shown on the product when it is purchased and is incorrect, that mistake should not be at the customer's expense. She refused to sell the item at the price that was marked, explaining it was priced incorrectly. It was a matter of only. 69 cents, but the principle of the matter is that the customer was paying for an employees mistake in showing the incorrect price. This is wrong and I will stop shopping there.

I was purchasing two items, one being a pk of 60 black & brown hair elastics. The tag for this item was upside down but read $3.50. The product was pushed back on the holder. Upon checking out, the total amount seemed more than it should have been so I asked how much they rang up as. The clerk told me $5.50. I then said the tag read $3.50. The clerk followed me to the aisle and I showed him where the product was located. He then stated he couldn’t sell me the item for $3.50 as it was not the price. He then looked over the hair elastic area and could not find one peg which had the correct price. (I might also note that at least half of the items did NOT have any pricing tags.
The clerk then said that a customer must have put this back in the wrong spot. I said normally that would be so but since there were FOUR (4) of these on the wrong peg, I doubted it. I work in retail and if I had treated one of our customers like he treated me, I would be unemployed.

wow I have been reading all these for awhile now and I think you should go shop at the walmart where the white woman was accosted by a black lady that asked to see her receipt.(which is NOT uncommon) I bet you 10-1 that man was an older man. He meant nothing about the color of your skin, and everything about the aura of idiocy that was probably emanating from you. You can be an idiot in any color.

TYRONE,
REVIEW WHAT YOU WROTE.
NOW, DO YOU HONESTLY THINK THAT YOU'RE ILLERATE? PRETTY MUCH.
YOU TALK ABOUT PAST HISTORY.. THAT'S WHY IT'S IN THE PAST. GO TO THE PRESENT AND FUTURE. WHY? BECAUSE THAT'S ALL YOU HAVE TO LOOK FORWARD TO.

NOW MAYBE, JUST MAYBE, YOU HAVEN'T HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO PROCEED WITH A HIGHER EDUCATION. NEWS FLASH...OPRAY WINFREY, MARTIN LUTHER KING AND MANY OTHERS SUCCEEDED. THEY DIDN'T WANT PITY. SELF PITY HAS A TENDENCY OF BRINGING DOWN YOUR OWN SELF-ESTEEM. DON'T LET THAT HAPPEN! PROVE NOT ONLY TO YOURSELF, BUT TO OTHERS THAT YOU ARE CAPABLE OF CONROLLING YOUR OWN LIFE. ACHIEVING. YOU'LL FEEL BETTER ABOUT YOURSELF. THERE WILL BE A LOT OF RESPECT NOT ONLY IN YOURSELF, BUT BY OTHERS.

AS FAR AS THE WAL-MART ISSUE GOES, HE'S OBVIOUSLY NOT A PEOPLE PERSON! YOU'RE GOING TO BE RUNNING INTO THESE HUMANS ON AN EVERY DAY BASIS. GET USED TO IT. THEY'RE THE ONES WHO ARE IGNORANT. NEXT TIME, ASK HIM IF HIS BLOOD IS RED. ASK IF IF HE CRIES. AS HIM IF HE ENJOYS TREATING OTHERS IN THIS MANNER. AFTER THAT, LOOK AT HIM STRAIGHT AND TALL AND ASK HIM WHO THE STORE MANAGER IS. YOU'D LIKE TO SPEAK TO HIM OR THE SUPERVISOR. DON'T LET PEOPLE INTIMIDATE YOU. THEN TAKE CONTROL OF THE SITUATION AND DON'T LEAVE HIM WITH OPTIONS. YOU'RE THE CUSTOMER. YOU GET WHAT YOU WANT.

YOU BEING AFRICAN-AMERICAN WAS NOT YOUR CHOICE. NOR WAS I BEING A WHITE LITTLE BUTT-HEAD.

He gave you some good advice when he said you need to go back to school. It was in no way a racist remark. Get over yourself. I mean, you weren't even alive before slavery was abolished. Walmart ruined oil pan

I took in my car for a routine oil change but found out that the last time Walmart did my oil change they forced the wrong plug in and it was stripped when they went to change the oil. So they sent me to THEIR repair place - no, i didn't have a choice in the repair shop - and Walmart would reimburse me. Went to THEIR place for repair, had it "done" and Walmart paid me. Mind you, this took place back in April 2008. Fast forward to August 2008 when I mistakenly took my car back to Walmart for another oil change. Was told that THEIR repair place didn't do the work correctly and now I'm STUCK - tough out of luck - because they reimbursed for the repair. So I'm stuck getting the entire oil pan replaced for $500. THIS IS ALL FOR WALMART'S MISTAKE of shoving a WRONG oil plug back in the pan. How does that happen when there's only 2 bays for oil changes? Oh, and the repair place is "conveniently" out of business. WALMART SUCKS.

I had problems with my oil being changed at walmart also. Different problem though I told them the type of oil . I would have never known any difference, except they left half a quart of oil in my floor board. I ask them after getting in it what was this ? There reply oh thats rest of your oil we could only get 4 and a half quarts in it . My car holds five. I made them take that oil out and watched them put the right oil in and the right amount in. Lesson learned I have not taken my car back to them since for a oil change.

Walmart visa prepaid card

I purchased a Wal-mart Money Card/ Visa Prepaid Card on Jan. 31, 2017 and I have tried calling to activate the card, twice; and to date I still cannot activate it. I, also, faxed information that was required to verify my address.

At the time of purchase, I was told I had to put some money on the card along withthe purchase of the card, which was $20.00 + $8.94, totaling $28.94 and I still cannot use the card. In addition, I cannot add more money to the card until it is activated.

I would like to hear from a real person on this instead of talking to machines that cannot help me. And I would like my money returned or activation for the card to go through.

For the past 2 months I have been trying to get a refund on a Wal-Mart Money Card I purchased that was lost. I gave the rep ALL receipt info at initial claim and was told that the card had not been activated nor used and a refund would be investigated. I requested at that time that the card be frozen from activation and use as it was no longer in my possession. I have followed up in two week increments and given three different claim numbers and nothing was done except noting frivolous notes on each account to justify closing the claim. For the first time on 1/3/2017 I was asked to fax the receipt in which I did within 1 hour of the request. I faxed it three times from two different fax machines to ensure receipt. I saved my transmission confirmations. On 1/5/2017 I was told that no fax had been received. I found out two days ago that that card has now been used and was given yet another claim number because the card had been used. I was AGAIN asked to fax receipt. On today, 1/7/2017, I faxed the receipt again plus the three previous fax confirmations. I realize that the Wal-Mart Money Cards are outsourced which I am sure Mr. Sam Walton would not appreciate as he would also not appreciate this lack of customer service I have been provided. Sometimes it is not worth the savings to outsource. Wal-Mart needs to take interest in its affairs in other countries that affect Americans. This was my thirteen year old daughter's money she earned dog sitting in which she was going to use to purchase i-tunes and online games.

At first the wal mart money card was an exxcellent idea. No papers to fill out direct deposit use it any where visa is excepted, but now you have to pay to reload everytime, monthly membership fee s apply monthly( no problem) but then you load money and can't get money off. You try to call customer support and they charge you for that too. Come on now its our money not yours and we pay to use the card. So, how is it fare to us. That's not saving money Wal- Mart, that's spending more than you sve.

I was in search of a pre-paid VISA card that could have amounts of over 500.00 on it. My father had just passed away so I wanted to send my mother on a all expense paid trip to Gatlinburg to relax and heal a bit. So someone suggested the Wal-Mart money card. I went to Wal-Mart and purchased three..two with 500.00 each on them and one with 400.00 on it. My aunt and brother(who would their driver) was accompanying her. So I got the cards and activated them online. I thought all was good until I got a call Sunday night that one of the cards was not working at a gas pump. This was the night before they left. They got it straightened out. The next day after getting to Gatlinburg they went and had a nice meal. Well...none of the cards worked so my Mom had to pay for the meal. We called Wal-Mart(they had to conference me in) and they said there were blocks on the cards due to some information I entered incorrectly for just one. They also said all three cards would be terminated completely in 2 weeks even if the money was not spent. The blocks were lifted and I thought all was ok. So today I get another call from my brother...blocks had been put back. We got on the phone with them again. I said this has to stop. I want my mother to have a good relaxing time. They apologized...said the blocks were lifted..yada yada. Not 10 minutes later...the blocks were back on. I got another call. So we called them back. This time I had to shut the door to my office for fear I was going to start yelling I was so frustrated. I told them if the blocks happened again I'd be hiring an attorney that this was beyond ridiculous. My brother, aunt, and mom are 300 miles+ away from home with limited personal funds and this was all they had.
I told my brother to withdraw what was left off of each card so they'd have the money they needed in case the a block was put back on again.
This crap has completely ruined my week. I'm a widow of under 2 years out myself and know how badly my Mom needed this little break and these idiots put a major damper on it. She swears it is all ok but I know it had to have taken some of the fun out of it. I will NEVER set foot in that horrible place again nor will ever purchase a Money card from them. I will just stick with the VISA gift cards from now on. The extra expense is worth not having the stress associated with a Money Card.

Walmart wrong battery

My sister recently had Wal-Mart auto services install a battery in her car. After a few days the car stalled and had to be towed to garage. The mechanic found that the wrong battery had been installed. It was too high, it overheated and welded the hood latch shut as well as caused damage to the underside of the hood.

The cost of the damage was $490. She had the Walmart receipt for the battery and installation, a receipt from the mechanic who fixed the damage clearly stating that the cause was the installation of the wrong battery, and pictures of the damages. She submitted these undisputable facts to Wal-Mart's claim management company (CMI) and her claim was denied.

They blamed the manufacturer of the battery not the ###s that installed the wrong one. It appears from many other online horror stories that Walmart never takes responsibility for any damage caused by incompetent mechanics.

Walmart worst customer service

I went to wallmart dept. store on friday night 11/30/07 with my nephew to purchase a car dvd player for my son's birthday.I found a polaroid PDM-2727 7" two screen car dvd player with remote control, headset etc., there were alot of electronic stuff included. My husband wrapped it up with a gift wrap to surprise him on the next day.On Saturday we had a party for him, after he cut the cake he then opened his present. That's when my husband found two missing items in the box. He didn't waste his time checking the whole box. He just closed the box and said "we have to return it ASAP"; so I went back to the store on Monday 12/03/07 around 11:30 am to exchange the item. They didn't have any of that brain. So I said to the sales associate at the customer service desk that I would return it and get my money back. She said I need to call another associate from that department to ckeck the item before the return. When the sales associate arrived she checked everything that was in the box. She found that the serial # on the two tv did not match. She said to me "You cannot return it because the items don't match". I said to her I need to speak to a manager because it's only been two days since I bought it. And I explained to her it was a present for my son's birthday, we just opened the box and found two items that are missing and I came here to exchange it with my receipt. She repeated herself "You cannot return it because the items don't match". I said to her it is not problem that the items don't match I need to speak to a manager. She said there are no managers in the store. There is only two assistant managers. I said I don't care. I just need to speak to someone that can help me because I am not getting good customer service. She just walked away. I said to the other sale associate that was there to get me a manager or else I am not leaving the store. They just ignored me and helped the other customers. I said to them that I am not a thief and I will never be. I didn't steal anything. I shouldn't be the one paying for it. I kept saying to them that I needed to see a manager. They kept ignoring me. I decided to call my husband and my sister for help. I told them that if the manager doesn't come out to talk to me. I will call the police to search my car and my house and to investigate this case. One of the sales associate said to me the manager won't talk to you because she already said on the phone that she won't take the item back. I said to her I am a customer. I bought something here with my money. If I am not satisfy with the stuff that I purchased I have the right to retun it. If they knew that the item was already opened and returned from a previous customer why did they put it back on the shelf without even checking it? Or may be they did check it and saw that it was used and missing items they just cover it up. After almost two hours of talking to myself and standing on my feet. I said that I would call 911, my lawyer, fox 25, and I would take my receipt back and see them in court that's when one of the assistants came out and said we could only give you a store credit, but no cash. I was so frustrated and disappointed. I should not be treated like that, especially when I did not steal anything.

I was discriminated by those people. I need this complaint to be file immediately to the media, and every single human being all over the world.

I felt harassed, as the checkout person asked to ID me for purchasing a bottle of wine, when I am 58 years old. There is no way that she could not see my age (that I am over (40), unless she is blind, in which case she should not be put on the register . It is HARASSMENT.

Walmart poor quality items

Walmart sucks! They have very poor quality items. I bought a few clothing items that fell apart just putting them on. The workers are hired with an iq of 12. So forget customer service returns. Bottom line... Walmart is cheap and dirty. Mama was right when she said you get what you pay for! Walmart I s just out for profit. Oh! And don't try to copy a key there... 3 rd time back... Walmart management

I have never been in a worse Walmart store before in my life. The management belittles and harrasses their employees in front of the customers. The manager told the guy at the door to check an employees purchases and receipt at the door to make sure she wasn't stealing anything when I had huge boxes I was taking out and they weren't checked. The same manager told one of the cashiers that she was being to nice to the customers. How are you TOO NICE to customers? I refuse to shop at the Mount Pleasant, Iowa Walmart EVER again! They need to et rid of the management they have there. If I come across that at other Walmarts I will stop shopping at any of them! What does it take to get the corporation to do something down here? I have put in numerous complaints at the store, but of course no action gets taken. It is the worse ran Walmart in the world!

My boyfriend and i recently went to the walmart in oshawa located in the north end. We went to the photo place to print off pictures of our new born son. We spent well over 200$ there and the woman who was working was VERY rude. She was telling us not to come there and use the machines if we were going to be printing as many photos as we did and that her shift was over in less than an hour from the time we started printing and the pictures would take over an hour. First off, the pictures were done about 10 minutes before her shift, secondly, we always went there to print our pictures and because of that we will no longer be coming to print pictures or even shop at walmart because of the discusting and rude attitude we got. We spend a great deal of money at walmart every week, we dont deserve to be talked to the way we did, we should have been treated like a costumer should.

More than likely my comment will be deleted by wal-mart. I work for them and their management practices are some of the most abusive. No wonder people can't bag your groceries right! They are constantly being sent to do jobs they clearly were not hired for and moved everywhere in the store and if you don't, they call it insubordination by management. The stores are constantly understaffed but lots of management walking around doing nothing and what few workers they have working are doing the jobs of 3 or 4 people but for a low wage of one person. Your complaint is very valid I feel and so is mine!

I dont know if Walmart reviews these complaint on this board, but I would love to be contacted by a walmart executive about an experience I had in one of their stores. Its really one of a Human rights issue. I could not beleive how poorly one of their managers had spoken to an empmloyee in front of my wife and myself, I contacted a back office manager and he seemed somewhat indifferent to the situation, and I didnt pursue it further but I should have. Walmart terrible food

Walmart had big advertising on offering alternative foods. You offered them alright and as you do with everything jerked a lot of them right off the market. Some Vans waffles are offered, but no wheat free. Then on the sausage, you canceled your contract with Lopez Foods and they had to quit making the precooked country sausages. I will not buy the Walmart brand, because you buy the cheapest meats, full of hormones, etc. and fat. Lopez does not do this.

And another thing, you hire people who do not know the English language (at low wages) and they cannot get the orders correct half of the time or answer any questions intelligently. If you are going to do this, offer English classes they have to take in order to get a job.

I have noticed that Albertsons is getting more and more business. People had rather go to the dentist than Walmart now days. I will campaign for a Costco to come into this town, also.

And what do you care? Just remember eventually the bigger you get and the more you step on people and brainwash your employees, the point of God and diminishing returns come into play.

I agree with the bad food. I will not buy any meat at Walmart again. I live 20mi. from Walmart and I've had spoiled mt. on several occasions.I only go there once a week or so . They tell me you can not get a refund on food after 7 days of purchase . Now with the price of gas I am not going to make a special trip 20mi. to get a refund on $4.00 mt. I was there on the 8th. day then did give me a refund but not with out an arguement. This is Feb. 26th I opened up a package of sausage for supper spoiled, the exp. date reads March 8th. So no more Walmart mt. Thats not all I have gotten there that has expired dates on them, a person shouldn't have to go into a store and check every item for expiration dates or you would not get out of there. Between hunting for everything because they move everything around every other wk. and long waits at ckeck out lines . I and alot of other people I know are sick of Walmart . I am going to do my shopping else where.(Hy-Vee)

Walmart lube shop

I left my Ford Econline conversion van at the Wal Mart Tire and Lube for an olil change on April 30. When I returned I found a large side window had been smashed completely out. There were glass fragments in the back seat and window area. I was exhausted from sitting at the hospital with my very ill husband and I did the "woman thing" and started crying. I said something to the effect that I didn't need that as my husband was in the hospital. A "manager" appeared very quickly. There had been a rather nervouos feeling when I paid my bill. It was almost as if he was ready to face me. Some of his first words were, "You were upset and tired from your husband being in the hospital and you didn't notice it". They insisted it had been broken when I brought it in and I hadn't noticed it! Their insurance company (check them out on the net and see how the federal government got them for ripping off their employees on worker's compensation cases) closed the file just 6 days later. I got a letyer from the administrator of the assisted lilving where I was staying while my husband was in the hospital. She said she saw no broken window that morning. After I had visited him I had loaded my power chair in the van and "parked" it right by the back seat. There was no broken window. Once i started drioving the van the tradffic noise was horrible and glass began blowing around. I filed in small claims and Wal Mart brought a security tape to court. It was very questionable but the judge ruled for them. I asked for a copy in court and they said no. But the judge awared me a copy. I really need someone who knows something about such tapes. I know it wasn't broken when I took it in. As it is a conversion van the window is going to be almost $500 whic is my deductable. It's difficult to find someone to work on it. I've spent a lot on gas etc. pursuing this. It has been a horrilbe experience. I'm not up on my internet payments so I'm not on line and go to the library to use theirs. Are there any class action or other law suits available? This has been humiliating and stressful. I'm disabled and my husband is fighting cancer. I tried to clean the glass up but can't get it all. I'm worn out physically and mentally. I had fought them successfully once when they torqued my husband's wheels on his truck to tightly and they had to be cut off. From reading the complaints I must have been fortunate to have gotten them to make that good (it wasn't easy as they tried their dirty tricks I see in the net stories. Please if you have any information that might benefit us especailly in regard to their security tapes, please call me collect at [protected].

Walmart terrible service

I recently took my 2 year old son to this studio to have his pictures taken. That was the first mistake. The employee, Jennifer, was about as stupid as they come. I was asking about different backgrounds and she couldn't even tell me what they had. So we go in the back to see what she had. There was almost NOTHING to choose from. The was a really cute Thomas the train background I would have loved to use, but someone had taken a marker and drawn thru it so that you could not even use it! She said management did that when they got bought out. My second mistake was actually picking from the baclkgrounds they did have to use for my son. Well, this girl did not even try to get my son to smile or laugh. How can you work in photography if you're not even comfortable to get goofy with a child to make them smile for the picture?! THEN, because my son really did not like her at this point, she went outside the doorway and said for us to tell her when he smiled so she could hit the button to take his picture. She never hit that stupid button one time when I told her to. I bought a very small package since I'd already wasted my time. We were able to get a couple good pictures. Nothing like I wanted. But the second I got home, I called the 1-800 number on my receipt and told that customer service lady everyting about my awful visit. She gave me her sincere apologies and said they would be looking in to this matter. But that doesn't change the bad experience. This was the WORST portrait experience I have ever had in my life. I would not recommend anyone to use Picture Me Portraits ever!

We got our pictures taken at this Picture Me Portrait studio in Walmart. They took the pictures and showed us a small blurred section of the photo and we had to decide whether or not we wanted to keep the photo. When we got the photos in person, I noticed that they were out of focus and our family photo was not centered on the page. There was no way we could have foreseen this as they do not show us the entire photo before we purchase them, we just have to take their word for it that it was focused and centered.

These were our first family photos with my 6th month old child. Not only that but when I pointed these things out to an associate, she had the nerve to tell me "yeah, our camera had this mis-aligned problem. Our company knew about the problem but didn't want to fix it since we were getting a new digital system in 3 weeks." So they knew there was a problem with their system and they still let customers waist their time and money on very poor quality service and photographs.

Never again will be go there! You shouldn't either. Pay more money for better quality.

I totally agree. I'm a single stay at home mom with limited income, so taking my kids to the studio inside of Wal-Mart seemed the best way to go. I have had good experience with them in the past, and the girl that we had the first two times was great with the kids. She was very patient with them even when they got irritated and wanted to whine. My kids are 2 and 3. I went in on this past Friday to have their pics taken for Easter, and the woman who was there was NOT the one that we liked. The last time she did the pics, they turned out really well, but the sales part was horrific. I wound up driving home in tears. I was not happy with what I purchased, but the pose for the package was ok. The lady never once showed me a price list of additional pictures that I might want. She just kept stating that they had packages that I needed to pick from. She wouldn't clarify what was in each package, and I expressed to her more than once during that visit that I was a single mom with limited income, and that I couldn't afford $100 in pictures. I just wanted to see what all the pictures looked like with the way that she originally took them. When she brought us in the room to look over the shots, they were all in different colors, in collages, and with writing, etc. She wouldn't even let me look at all of of the frames she shot. It was time to pay for the package that they advertised for 6 bucks or so, and I wanted just 2 8X10's along with that. She gave me my total, and I was like, "You just have me down for the pkg and the 2 8x10's right?", she was like, "No, you said you wanted the collage". I told her I most certainly did not, and that all I was paying for was the pkg and 2 8x10's. She was very short with me afterwards, and I was so unhappy to see that she was the one that was going to be doing the pics again for Easter. Needless to say, we wound up NOT finishing the set, yet once again she was short with me. We had an appt for 6pm on that Friday night. We were on time, the kids were ready to go. She stayed on the phone till 6:20pm, needless to say the kids were getting impatient, and so was I. She didn't even say she was sorry for making us wait. Needless to say, I will not go back when she is working. She made the whole experience unpleasant for all of us.

Walmart bad service, dirty store, not stocked, impolite

The store is dirty inside and out.

The people who work there are not helpful, stand and talk to each other and ignore customers.

Check out lines overly long not enough checkers.

Store not stocked, empty shelves everywhere, can't find what you would like to buy or need.

Poorly managed.

No one in Carlsbad, NM is happy with this Wal-Mart in fact quiet a few will drive 38 miles to the next town to use their Wal-Mart. We try to do our business in our home town but it's hard with such poor service.

this Is what happens when a company gets too big for their britches good management starts from the top forget all those daily meetings with the associates the store manager needs to be meeting regularly with the assistant and co-managers the first thing he should address is the need to greet each and every customer throughout the store, a friendly hello, that all. Start with the management staff where that quality of friendliness is sorely lacking. some of the associates actually do acknowledge the customers and that is while they are trying to stock 8 to 10 hours worth of work in 5 hours or less of actual stock time overnight the management is many times just walking around talking to each other, discussing the game or whatever, all the time IGNORING the customers the next issue to be brought up is how they degrade the stocker in the presence of others, customers included that's going to make a better stocker out of someone, right? why not actually work alongside a new associate and show him or her the tricks of the trade? faster ways to open a case, how to stock 4 bottles of ketchup, six bottles of salad dressing etc, in one motion unless they themselves don't know how then commend, commend, commend the stocker most humans will work a little harder if they feel appreciated, in contrast they may even slow down if they have the what's the use attitude which brings me to point 3 how many times do you see a member of management walk by a piece of paper on the floor in action alley? set an example instead of giving the impression to the associates "you don't care, so why should I?" Number 4 stop lying to the associates in the nightly meetings telling them how hard they work and how much they mean to you then the next night haul them back one at a time and either coach or fire them say what you mean and mean what you say or don't say anything remember who you are-----a leader---=--a leader leads the way, does not send the group flying in all different directions management if you cannot or will not do these things for those in your care, go away you should not be welcome at walmart or anywhere else wearing the distinctive badge of manager

The Walmart in Hanover, Maryland is one of the WORST I have seen. What's more, it is relatively new. I took some guests there from New York and was thoroughly embarrassed! It was dingy, dirty and disorganized. To top it off, the FEW staff members seen seemed very nonchalant. I think the General Manager needs to be held accountable. This is not acceptable!

Is there a Target in your area or a local grocery store? You can shop at the mall too. But like the above commenter said, you will end up paying more. To some people (me included) cleaness and helpful service without the attitude is worth it.

I used to spend several hundred dollars every week at Wal-mart. I now go to HEB because they actually stock their stores, clean their stores, hire FRIENDLY people who will come and get you out of line to take you to a shorter line, bag my groceries, and just treat like they are glad that I am spending my hard earned money at their store! Sometimes the prices may be hirer but it is worth it to me because the store is clean and if I have a problem they listen and fix the problem. I WILL NOT GO TO WALMART !

Walmart No warranty

A few days earlier my partner noticed the tire on the right passanger side was going flat.. So I reinflated it.. Yesterday she again noticed it was going flat.. Last year I bought four new tires and paid extra for the lifetime warranty.. So I called walmart asked the woman to look up my info and asked her if my warranty covered replacing my tire she said yes it does and we close at 8pm.. So I pumped it up again and rushed to walmart.. I came in told a lady who I was and she said go ahead and tell someone out there what you need.. So I did.. And that's when we began dancing..

First he informs me I may have to pay as little as $20 for my replacement tire or maybe as much as half the value if I used up more then 25% of my tire.. I informed him I bought new tires from them and I paid extra for the lifetime warranty so I want what I paid for a replacement tire free of charge.. He said the most they can do is fix it for free.. I said fine as long as I do not pay one penny.. Then he added, but if it can't be fixed you'll have to pay something.. I said not if it comes to that put the tire back on and i'll take my business elsewhere and never come back here for work of any kind..

Here's where it gets funny he said he put in for it to be repaired, but if it can't be fixed they'll give me the tire for free if I buy another lifetime warranty.. I said hell no.. I'll never buy tires or warranties from here again.. I said what's the point in paying extra for a #ing warranty you have no intentions of honoring.. So he said "we'll try to fix it for you".. I should add the manager I think he was the assistant manager tried to sing the same song, but when I started getting mad he disappeared.. They took my keys and began working on my tire.. They gave me this little pager thing that vibrates when my car is ready.. So my partner and I walked through the store... Had it not been for the fact I didn't get paid until the 12th and also had it not been for the fact I paid extra for a lifetime warranty I would have paid the fee they requested then never come back and filed a complaint with the bbb.. By then I was pissed! Why is it when mechanics see a woman coming and they imagine a bullseye everytime?

I returned when my car was ready and was told they gave in and gave me a new tire because my old one could not be fixed they didn't charge me, but they had to charge me $1.07 some silly thing about a state requirement fee.. I'm sorry, but lifetime warranties should cover "everything" that's why we pay out the # for them.. Luckily my partner just happened to have $1.07 on her. They actually took our last $1.00 and got mad at us for it! Walmart automotive is a scam outfit, their so called warranties are a joke.. When I told them I was never told about any 25% usage bs and if I had been I would not have paid that extra amount for the warranty nor would I have bought my tires there.. They practice bad business and I plan on telling everyone I know to avoid them like the plague.. If they pull this one on you argue with them don't sit back accept their bs and sit and lick your wounds.. If you pay extra for the lifetime warranty tell them you wont pay any extra fees also let them know you'll file a complaint with the bbb.. Get feisty with them.. They know they owed me that free tire under my warranty they just didn't want to let me have it... They even had the balls to try to sell me another lifetime warranty to cover my new tire.. That was the biggest joke of all! I was so mad at them for trying to cheat me I walked out with that pager thing so I drove my car up to the garage to return it.. And one of the mechanics snarled at me as he snatched the pager out of my hand.. He was lucky had I been any madder I would have jerked his # through my window and beat the snot out of him he was just lucky my partner was there I wasn't going to risk her getting hurt.. Instead I just laughed and drove away.. I will never return to walmart for my automotive needs.. I'll go to zychs instead it's run by a father and son team and they are very honest...
