Walmart awful place to work in

I worked at the buffalo walmart in minnesota for about two months. My manager always had me doing all of her work after i was done with mine. Then she went to her manager, who i found out she was sleeping with and took all credit for what i have done. Well after her manager talked to me about "not doing my job" i was pissed so i went to the bathroom splashed my face with some water and took a breather. My manager had come in a couple min later and started yelling at me saying he (her manager) will never believe me then spit in my face! I wanted to punch her lights out! But i didn't, i got so pissed off i threw up on her shoes. now i am sewing. They don't only treat customers like crap they treat employees bad to. Unless u sleep with them i guess.

I have had friends who worked for Walmart and its not a place anyone would want to stay long-term. Crap pay, [censor] managers who don't care if you leave or stay, and crappy hours. Try other companies.

I worked for Walmart as a unloader. Management is always intimidating and harassing associates to get the job done faster. Management tells the unloaders that the trucks can be unloaded faster. The unlaoders told management to show us, and start unloading the truck. The management team couldn't unload the trucks faster but slower (2 and a half times longer). Ha Ha Ha, that was a joke. The managers need to keep their mouths shut until they can prove they can do the work better and faster. Also, we have a manager just shows no interest in the store other than satisfy his own narcissism (self-centered and self-love). All he does is sit in his office and tells others to do his job. Another thing is, the managers will look at ways to get rid of long time associates to steal their benefits through WRONGFUL TERMINATION such as myself. When I asked to see my personnel file and what was in it, they refused. Ha Ha Ha... What are they covering up. Don't let these fools run all over you but pulling the wool over your eyes. After working for Walmart for 6 years, I can honestly say, and safely say, Walmart isn't the place to work or do business. The managers will falsify your records and when they do this they falsify the tax liability laws (for their personal gain) and that is why Walmart is so goddam rich because they misrepresnt themselves to the community, the government, the customers, and the workers. When they do this kind of crap, turn them in. WHY NOT? They are always out to get you!

Walmart wal-mart damaged my engine

I recently had my engine replaced 6 months ago and had my oil changed at a different company that usually has a long wait. So since I had some shopping to do I took my van to have an oil change at Wal-Mart. Two days after my oil change my engine started knocking and a plume of smoke came out of the tail pipe. I took my van to my mechanic and he verified my engine blew due to the oil change and that I would need a new engine. I went to Wal-Mart who sent a lady with camera to take pics of my van and who took a small sample of the oil. A few days later Wal-Mart denied my claim based on the pics and a small sample of oil! I wish I knew about Wal-Mart's track record before I let them touch my van. Now I got to buy a new vehicle. Wal-Mart has lost a shopper forever.

An oil sample does not lie if done by an outside(non Wal-Mart) based sampler. In your oil sample will be all sorts of evidence of engine wear that is not visable to the naked eye.

I had the same thing happen to one of my cars. Luckily I was related to one of the store managers who helped me get my claim taken care of. Mine was at the Wal-mart in DeFuniak Springs, Fl.

Walmart wal-mart super center in richmond, mo

The Wal-Mart Super Center in Richmond, MO is a joke! The book department has become smaller, especially the children's books. The books haven't been changed in months. There were rumors that they were ging to get rid of the craft department, well they never did but they discontinued the DMC/Thread and cross stitch. Now ou will have to drive 90 minutes to city to get thread. There are a lot of people who cross stitch and use DMC thread. They should carry the products that the customers want. The toy department hasn't been changed in over two years and keeps getting smaller. The Entertainment department is the smallest I've ever seen in a super-center. They hardly have room for any DVDS. They don't carry any new TV-DVD Sets. I was looking for Law and Order DVDs and asked them if they had any. They said they never heard of that title. In the last six months the video games and disappeared and they reply was : their discontinued.

I bought a humidifier there and they no longer carry the filters, but the still carry the humidifier.

There needs to be a new manager! Why won't they stock their products! This is a small town. They would make even more money if they start carrying products that the customers want!

WalMart has been in my city for some time. In the middle of last year, I noticed a change in the attitudes of the staff that work at this store. Staff are now incredibly rude and will ignore people for large amounts of time, even if they are obviously waiting for help. Many times when I go into this store, the cashiers don't even pay attention to you as they are serving you. Many times they will continue to talk to their friends. As a result, I feel frustrated and very angry. Several times, I have gone into the store to purchase items. What is listed on the rack has been inaccurate several times. The associates refused to give the item to me for the listed price. And, when I told them the price on the rack, they always call back to see if I am lying. This is fine, but, six out of the seven times this has happened, the people checking the price claim that they do not see the price that I had stated. When I go back to look at the rack and find the price, I have no problem seeing it. These people are incredibly deceptive.

In addition, in the overnight hours, the aisles are often completely packed with boxes waiting to be unloaded. Once the people are done with a box, they throw it wherever they want. They don't even bother to move the boxes so people can get down aisles. I've even been sworn at by several associates.

I've sent numerous complaints to walmart via the web site and snail mail. I have yet to get back a single response. Do not do business with this store if you can help it. They have no sense of courtesy and even the manager will ignore you.

I was waiting to pick up a cake that was to be done by 3 it was 15 after 3 and the cake wasnt even started 6-15-08.. She was standing their talking to a young boy ingoring that I was even there.. I was even trying to get her attention and when she finally gave me a minute of her time she told me i would have to hang on a minunte i am busy (hateful)! I left without even getting the cake I asked for a mgr. but one ever came! Its pretty bad that a company that is based on customer service is that unorganized that my cake wasnt even started and i had called two days in advance to get it and she couldnt even give me one minute of her time for a reasonable explanation why! I will never use walmart bakery again.

Totally agree, but if you cant find a item, dont exepect an employee to help, or ask if you need help. heres my story aug 2010 i was looking for an item, in the same area 3 employees were talking, I search that area about 10 times, still no one approached, me asking if I needed help, after 20 minutes I heard one employee, holler hey, you need help well I looked up, and looked she hollered again You need help Nancey, I turned to look and she was asking a fellow coworker, if she needed help, not the paying customer. I was so mad I stormed off and kept saying in a normal voice "d**n goodthing I not a shoplifter cuz no one's paying atention to me" still no one asked if I needed help so I said I'm going to check out the Dollar General Store.

"In addition, in the overnight hours, the aisles are often completely packed with boxes waiting to be unloaded. " This is because they need to restock the aisle before the morning, which starts at 7am.

"And, when I told them the price on the rack, they always call back to see if I am lying. " They don't call to see if your lying, they call to check the price and to make it obvious to the sales floor person that they have price mistake on a item. In the first place, if your not lying then you shouldn't get mad or frustrated when it happens.

My 20 year old daughter went to Wal-Mart for an eye exam today. When she called to make the appoinment, she gave them all of our insurance information over the phone...all the numbers, etc. We have State Of Illinois insurance which is extremely good. Well, she went in for the exam and after it was over, they said she owed $48. She did not have any money on her. They said she could not leave the store until they had their money. She called me. I tried to give them credit card info, debit card info, checking acc. info. They said she had to stay there til someone came and paid the bill. I could not get there to pay them. I asked them what they were going to do with her all night? That was a couple of hours ago. My daughter is still being held hostage in Wal-Mart. Can they really hold someone like that?

Walmart scam and cheating

I returned chicken breast because of bug in package. Was charged again. Would like credit without having to keep going back to store. Also would like answer ASAP. The replacement package was not marked so checkout didn't know it was a replacement. The store is changing things so it makes it much harder to shop especially for older people. Since this is not the first time I have had to make an extra trip back to the store I would like to find another way for getting the credit for this shopping trip. And I am unhappy about this.

I purchased a WalMart money order and filled it out, then decided not to use it for the intended purpose. MoneyGram told me I could write 'not used for intended purpose' on the back and sign it, then just deposit it to my bank account. I deposited it to my friend's bank account with that notation, my signature and their signature, but the bank refused to cash it. WalMart won't take it back since it has been completed. Now I am waiting to get my money back from Money Gram - for a $15 fee.

That will be the last WalMart money order I ever purchase. Even Pete's Check Cashing in Saginaw, MI, told me they would not cash it because it had already been written out.

Every other place I have spoken with who sells money orders tells me they would have cashed it if I purchased it from them...

I purchased a bra which rang up at .15 cents, it turned out to be a size too big, I went to exchange it for a smaller size and Walmart would not exchange it for me, even though I had the receipt. They wanted me to pay full price for the other bra, even though I purchased this one at a sale price. I contacted the store manager, and the customer service center and they would not budge. For as much money as I spent at Walmart, they could have just exchanged the bra to keep a loyal customer happy. I am Chaplain for the State of Connecticut, I also am an active member of my church which has over 1, 000 members and many who shop at Walmart. I will be sure to tell everyone I know, and post as many notices I can regarding Walmart's lack of customer service and resolution.

Amsterdam walmart is a joke. The Customer service Managers hardly speek english, I hear them talking about other employees, I see the employees using the handicapped stalls when they don't need them. And then I caught a girl in the bathroom smoking. And in the handicapped stall too. She worked for Subway. And I reported herand Walmart said there was nothing they could do about it, that the smoker wasn't they're employee. And when I went in again the same girl was still employed with Subway. I try not to go there unless i really have to, Target is across the way and now Kohls is there too. So I can go other places.

As for the person who said they haven't seen anything clearanced for under a dollar, go to the Walmart in Winona, MN sometime. There are quite a few items for under a dollar at times. Especially gloves and hats and things like that. As for a bra for 15 cents, that does seem odd, but if it is an older one from a year or more ago, it's possible. Also, sometimes only specific sizes or styles get marked down and with clearance, you take what you get. They don't have to give you a different size if the one you want isn't on clearance. You have to look at clearance items like you look at a garage sale. It's left over stuff that nobody wanted to buy at full price to begin with and they're marking it down to get rid of it so they can bring in newer items. Try things on before you buy them or ask a fitting room attendant for a tape measurer so you can determine the correct size in the first place. They don't owe you a brand new bra at 15 cents.

You do know they have warranties after you pay right? Depending on how many days that are given and you can return an item that you bought at walmart to ANY other walmart across the nation? Do you often return things that maybe they become suspicious that you do it all the time?

You should have tried it on before you bought it. That would have saved you a lot of aggrivation, and would have avoided this situation completely. The .15 was definately a wrong price. I used to work in apparel at Wal-Mart, now I'm in the Deli, but we never clearenced anything to lower than .50. This is a good lesson to people to try stuff on before you buy it.

.15 cents was obviously the wrong price. I have never seen an item clearanced out for lower than $1. When you wanted to exchange the item they probably saw the mistake on the receipt and they weren't willing to make that mistake again. Did you go back to the same store that you bought it from? Because if you didn't then the store you're trying to exchange it out of is definitely not going to fix another store's mistake. Whatever the situation may have been, you still got a bra out them for .15 cents. Be happy and enjoy it because I promise that you will never buy one for that price again.

My husband agrees, he says definitely do purchase greendot money card that Walmart has so graciously slapped their name all over the front of. The ALL ACCESS NETSPEND CARD is one to go with, if your going to require the use of a no bank account debit card.

Yes, Walmartmoneycard really sucks. I reported my card lost/stolen but then I found it the next day. I called them to remove the block and they said that my account is completely closed and can not be accessed. But, they said that THEY can access it to take off money for some $20 fed-ex card to ship it to me. So then why can't they do something to whereas I would be able to access it to pay my rent. As it stands, I have to wait on them to send me a new card in two weeks without a dollar in my pocket.
Greendot is a jip and all of their cards get a fat zero! Never never ever purchase a green dot card, they are so far behind the other debit card companies that it is pathetic.
One great card that I know of is NETSPEND. USE THE NETSPEND CARD.YOU CAN GET IT AT YOUR LOCAL CURRENCY EXCHANGE OR ORDER ONE ONLINE.
**WITH NETSPEND, EVERY DIRECT DEPOSIT ARRIVES AT LEAST THREE DAYS EARLY, IT GIVES YOU A FREE FEDERALLY INSURED SAVINGS ACCOUNT, ****IF YOU REPORT YOUR CARD LOST/STOLEN AND THEN FIND IT, THEY REACTIVATE IT! I'M IN HEAVEN WITH NETSPEND, I UNFORTUNATELY SWITCHED ONE OF MY DEPOSITS TO THE WALMART GREENDOT CARD BECAUSE I DIDN'T WANT REDBOX TO OVERCHARGE ME FROM MY NETSPEND CARD AGAIN. i SHOULD NEVER HAVE DONE IT! NETSPEND IS THE BOMB. ****WITH NETSPEND, ANYONE WHO YOU KNOW WITH A NETSPEND CARD, YOU CAN TRANSFER FUNDS TO EACHOTHER BY A CELL PHONE TEXT, ONLINE OR BY PHONE. THE CARDS DO NOT HAVE TO BE LINKED TOGETHER, IT IS UNCOMPLICATED. ******IF YOU GET A NETSPEND CARD AND HAVE MONTHLY DIRECT DEPOSIT ON IT, THE MONTHLY FEE IS FREE, THERE'S NO CHARGE FOR CREDIT PURCHASES, ****AND THEY GIVE YOU A LOAN THAT GOES DIRECTLY, INSTANTLY TO YOUR CARD. YOUR CREDIT DOESN'T MATTER AS LONG AS YOU HAVE DIRECT DEPOSIT COMING TO YOUR CARD AND DON'T TRY TO "SLICK" THEM AND SWITCH YOUR DEPOSIT. AS LONG AS YOU LET THEM GET THEIR MONEY OUT OF YOUR NEXT DEPOSIT, THEY KEEP GIVING YOU INSTANT LOANS. ****PLEASE, NOBODY GO AND MESS UP NETSPEND BY STEALING THE LOANS, THEY ARE THE BEST CARD EVER. IF YOU SLICK THEM ON LOAN (LIKE I DID) YOU WILL FEEL BAD AND MISS THAT MONEY THEY USED TO LET YOU BORROW AND PAY IT BACK ASAP (LIKE I DID) SO YOU CAN GET ANOTHER LOAN. *****NETSPEND RULES! GREENDOT SUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKS!

Walmart battery purchased

On 9-19-08 my family and I were at walmart #5174 shopping, me and my son went to the automotive section to find a battery for his atv, I looked up the stock number of the battery we needed and told my son to get it off the shelf because I am handicapped and could not reach it from a motorized cart, my son, whom is 11years old, reached and got a battery from the section marked with the stock number we needed and carried it to the check out counter, he also placed our old battery on the counter for our core return fee, i paid the lady and afer our shooping was done we left. I didnt have achance to install the battery in the atv until 9-20-08. I unpackaged the battery, still beleaviing it was the right battery, installed the acid in the battery and attempted to place the battery in the battery compartment and noticed the battery would not fit because it was to big. I returned to the same store to try to swap it for the right one, the associate on duty said that they could not take it back because I had installed the acid, I esxplained what happened and she still said she could not except it. I ask to speak to a manager and she called one, when he arrived I explained what happened and he basicallytold me the same thing, that they could not take it back with the acid in it. so I said to him, I am stuck with a battery I cant use and he said yes. So here I am with no old battery and out $41.68 and a battery I can' use. I think this is pitiful, I am disabled, on SSI, and dont have alot of money to spend on things I dont need. Like I said it was a honest mistake and now I have a battery that I cant use and my old battery I could use for core refund is gone. I hope you can help me. Thank you,

I agree with partsmanmd, all you have to do is be creative. first go to a different Walmart and tell them that the battery is defective and will not hold a charge and you wish to swap it for a new one. If they let you change part numbers fine, if not, then take the same part number and take it home, DO NOT put the acid in the battery. Take this new one to another Walmart store in a few days and tell them you would like to return it because you accidentley picked up the wrong part number, they will now take it back because you have not put the acid into it. This will be inconvenient, but at least you will not be out the $41+

i think perhaps you should have looked at the part number on the box before you put the acid in, also walmart and most automotive stores can not sell a batter once the acid is installed unless it is a battery for a car or light truck. even then the battery is only replaceable if it is defective.. perhaps next time tell them the battery was defective and ask for a replacement of the right battery even if you had to pay the difference. the battery carries a 6 month pro rated wareranty for being defective.

Walmart over charged

This is the email I sent to their CS department asking for them to mai me a refund:
([protected]@regiscorp.com)

"I was picking up some product at your 3250 Sardis Church Road Buford (E), GA 30519 salon today. While I was patiently waiting for the stylist to finish cutting someone's hair I saw a special posted:
"2 for $28 US / $35 CAN Biolage, amplify or sleek.look Liters / Litres Save up to $22 US/ $38.90 CAN"

I thought I had picked up the right sizes until the stylist rang me up. The two products were $14.95 & $14.00 - so they were not the ones on special. When she got off the phone I asked her if the large bottles (liters) were the same price as the ones I bought. She went over to the sign, misread it & said that I had the ones that were on special. I asked her to ring them up because I was certain she was mistaken. Instead of ringing them up, she kept looking at the monitor and said she "looked them up on the discount list, and they're not on there."

I was mad that she wouldn't just ring them up as I politely asked. There was one other customer waiting, but I had already waited almost ten minutes while she was cutting someone's hair.

I felt very disrespected - and now I feel cheated. With gas prices what they are & given the fact that I am not buying this product in a mall, but a WalMart - I am obviously concerned with the extra cost of driving back to a place were the staff are so unprofessional to ask for a refund which I may or may not get. "

Worst salon ever. Do not go to the location in Kalispell, MT. Not only do they not know how to cut, they can't color, they can't style, and no customer service. I am sick and pissed off by the treatment received and I plan on doing my best to talk everyone out of going there. Most unprofessional manager and work environment. Food all over the counters very tacky mirror art stuff just gross and awful they should be ashamed.

I haven't been to a Smart Style in years, and for good reason. I had planned on dying my hair that afternoon after the cut and told the stylist that I didn't need a wash. So instead of spritzing my hair with water before she started cutting, she started cutting it dry! I kept trying to tell her that she should probably dampen it first, but she gave me a dirty look and asked where I went to beauty school. If she wasn't the one with the scissors in her hand I would have walked out at that point. Needless to say, my hair was butchered, and I had to spend another $40 getting it fixed elsewhere. And before anyone else says anything, yes, I did ask to speak to the manager after she was done. Was told she was not there, and called twice a day for two weeks to speak with her, but she was always conveniently "not there". If thats how they treat their customers, I'm more than happy to deal with my split ends thankyou.

I took my son to the "salon" in the Van Buren, Arkansas Wal-Mart. He wanted a trim. He is 13 years old. The woman that cut it totally butchered his hair (see photos). The manager was not there and no one else had the "authority" to issue a refund. Needless to say, my son had to go to school this morning with his hair all botched up. I called the manager this morning, she was very condescending and acted as if she could care less. I cannot believe that a hair stylist (using that term loosely) would let a client walk out of their establishment with their hair this crooked. You might as well forget about getting a refund, that is hopeless. You just get a big run around! THINK TWICE BEFORE STEPPING INTO ONE OF THESE SO CALLED "SALONS"! NEEDLESS TO SAY, I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT "SALON"!

Look at the "Specials" on the Smart Style website. You'll see Biolage 2 for $28.

My son had been growing his hair out for 2 years. It was starting to look...well long over due for a hair cut. I had been wanting him to get a haircut for awhile, I took him to a SmartStyle, in Jacksonville Arkansas. BIG MISTAKE! He wanted it with 2 to 3 inch bangs and we left with 1 inch bangs. I even went over to the chair and held his hair where he wanted it to be cut. Still she turns him around and wow, we measured after we arrived home...1.1 inches...no where near 2 to 3...NEVER will return there for ANYTHING! Didn't catch the young ladies name, was way to upset but she has long dark hair and cannot listen to what kind of cut you want. BEWARE

to Desiree...buy a box of cheap Revlon hair color and fix it to a darker shade yourself...if you go into a barber shop/salon/stylist botique and you aren't satisfied with the look/work performed you have a right to ask to have it fix/refuse to pay for services rendered due to inaccurate/incomplete request that you asked for. When you left the salon and paid for services rendered without asking for the deficienies rendered, then you accept the hairstyle/look as is and are confirming satisfactory work on your hair completed. Most hair salons/style shops genereally have a policy that you have to have the defficiency corrected at the time services are rendered or you acknowledge the stylist has completed satisfactory work. So basically you walked out, paid for services rendered and accepted saying that the stylist performed his/her duties and that your color job was done correctly. You have no legal or business presidence standing on this.

Firstly--
ohmigosh. Instead of $28.00 you had to pay $28.95. I'm so sorry for your $.95 loss. Maybe it was taxes?

Secondly-- I don't think you have a right to be mailed any money. If you don't want the product, give it back. You did *not* have to leave the store with anything in your hand and therefore--you wouldn't be in the mess you made for yourself. Suck it up and be an adult.

_________
I concur w/warrington and MimiSue.
I've spent $65.00 on highlights there because of my length. NOT $44. And yes, I was a little surprised when they keep quoting me "It'll probably be $44" because I know it's going to be about $20 more.

..furthermore, curls are ugly anyway. That's totally on you for having bad taste in hairstyles. Yick.

Walmart banned from walmart

I am very angry at Walmart . I was in ur Walmart store here in Rocky Mount Va on June 29 2007 @9;30 P.M. and there was a clothes hanger laying on the floor and i didn't see it and i slipped up on it and fell, busted the back of my head and busted up my left arm and shoulder. Walmart said they had to take me to the hospital and they would pay the bills . Well I had to go thru several drs and Walmart told me they would pay my medical bills but come to find out as of today they still haven't been paid. The dr put me on pain medication and i was on pain medication which I am still on and the dr dropped the dosage and I started getting side affects to it and i called and told her but she never did anything about it and I went into your Rocky Mount Va Walmart store on December 3 2007 and was doing some shopping. I was going to buy a Nascar coat and I was looking at the tag and accidently tore it off by mistake so I decided I didn;t want the coat so I went and put it back on the shelf and then I decided to go back and get it and when i went to pick it up I forgot to get the tag and when I got to the counter to pay for my merchandise I forgot to put the coat up there and the girl that checked me out didn't say anything about the coat and I forgot to pay for it and when I went out the door the buzzer went off and here comes the lost prevention people and they told me I would have to come with them and they called the law. I told the law i was on medication and i just forgot the coat was hanging across the buggy, the girl at the register should have asked me about the coat. Now I am banned from Walmart and they told me I couldn't come back there no more. I was on medication at that time and the side affects was confusion. By the way Walmart didn't pay nothing on my fall after they said they would have to pay the bill and as of today Walmart hasn't paid a dime on it. I called Walmart Claims and they said they didn't have a file on me but they sent me 4 of my bills back to me and i called them back and they said that was all they had and i told them they had some more and they argued me they didn;t have any but a week later they sent me all of them. Now i am a law abiding citizen and i haven't done anything like that before in my life and the dr even told me it was the medication.I am asking u to reason with the Walmrt in Rocky Mount Va and get them to let me come back in there because i do have a lawyer working on this for me and if u don't won't to get sued over again you can let me come back into Walmrt again.I am telling u it was the medication. Please just give me another chance. U can reach me at Katherine S.Angel P.O. Box 2168 Rocky Mount Va 24151 or call me at [protected] and if I don't answer please leave a name number, and a message what's it;s concerning and I will call u back or u can email me at [protected]@Yahoo.com

I was in your Walmart store in Rocky Mount Va on December 3 2007 and I was shopping and I was going to buy me a coat. I was on medication at the time and I just laid the coat over the buggy and was looking at the tag of how much it was and I accidently pulled the tag off and went on done my shopping and when I got done shopping I went to check out and I forgot the coat was there and the
cashier didn't ask about the coat so I forgot it and i went on out the door and the buzzer went off. I fell in your Rocky Mount Va walmart store on June 29 2007 and I was put on medication and the dr had took me off that medication and put me on a lower dosage and i got confused with it and just forgot the coat was there and now I am banned from the store. When I fell in June 29 2007 they (Walmart) told me they were going to pay my bills also but they never paid the first dime on them and I think that is also wrong. I sent everyone of them to them and I called them and told them to send me back a copy of each one of them and they said they didn't have anything on me but 4 days later I got 3 of the bills in the mail . I called again and told them that wasn't all them and they said they didn't have any more and I told them "Yes u Do because i sent everyone of them to u" and then a week later I got a copy of the rest of them and as of this day Walmart hasn't paid one red dime on my medical bills.I hurt my left arm and busted the back of my head and My left arm is still Black and blue from that fall . I have a good mind going back and suing u all over again or u can talk to the Walmrt in Rocky Mount Va . and see about me coming back there. U can do one thing or the other.I couldn't help it if the medication went against me. I am already talking to a lawyer about this so u can email me at Godslittlequeen@Yahoo.comor write to me at Katherine S. Angel P.O. Box 2168 Rocky Mount Va 24151 phone [protected].I am telling u it was tha medication I was on and then the dr dropped the dosage and it went against me.

First of all, how can someone be a registered nurse and not be able to spell common English words. Second, I have worked for WalMart for 11 years and no store I have worked at has been closed other than from Christmas Eve at 8:00 (used to be 6:00) p.m. until 6:00 a.m. 12/26.
Would her hospital (if she even is a nurse) allow a customer or patient to violate rules that the administration had set up? I don't think so. If she had been allowed in a closed store and had gotten injured in some way, the store manager would have lost his job and WalMart would have been sued for an outrageous amount of money (even though this wasn't about money). HAHA If it wasn't about money, why does she want gas money, reimbursement of the money she paid at a "higher priced" store because she cannot manage her household and desperately needed this "pop" and a $25 gift card. I don't think I would want this uneducated, inconsiderate person being my nurse. Thank you

I was taking meds one time during vacation. Went to a drug store to get some film for the camera and walked out the door without paying for the film just a second, nothing went off, but I went back and paid and no one said anything to me. I was just out of it. The meds I take can knock you on your backside. I was a nervous wreck. Thought they would lock me up for stealing under $4.00 roll of film. If you are on meds and fell light headed take a friend with you and this way you can stay in the clear.

Walmart has protocol for dealing with customer injuries. Number one rule, "Never admit fault or say you're sorry".
Walmart would never have told you they would "pay" the hospital bills. That's a complete lie. This whole story is made up.

My IQ dropped 20 points for just acknowledging this train wreck.

Don't you hate it when that happens? Oh! the drama. I don't think I have ever ripped a price tag off by accident- No, I don't think that has ever happened. I wonder if the coat hanger was strategically placed because I don't think I would ever be that beguilling enough to pursue a personal injury lawsuit like that. I hope the security cameras caught your little scam. Maybe going back to the same store and stealing the coat was like sending a message to Walmart that somehow they still owe you. Pain medications or not, you are still responsible for your own actions and the consequences that arise from that. I do hope you weren't driving.

WHY are you posting on here...asking for help...with dealing with Walmart?
Do you honestly thinking that being on pain medication entitles you to steal a coat? Ive taken pain meds for years and have never tried to scam a store like this. Actually I never even thought about it...yet you tried to pull it off. They should have had you arrested on the spot and charged with everything they could.

Instead of all the shopping / shop lifting / drugs and drama perhaps you should go back to school so you can learn how to converse with others...learn to spell...to read...all of it. It's a lot easier than scamming people.

Walmart killing products

When my son was born he was put in the hospital at 2 days old due to an infection around his brain and spine, also know as spinal mennegitis. After a few weeks he was released and given prescriptions. I went to the wal mart pharmacy in my town and had them filled. The man behind the counter was very nice but in very much a hurry. I took the perscrips. home and gave them to my son 3 days went by when we noticed he was getting sicker instead of better, so I took him back to the dr. and we found out the prescription labels had been switched and he 3 was ripple overdosing on one med and only getting a quarter of what was needed for the other. As you can imagine I was very very very mad.!

So after the dr.s office I went back into wal mart and they told me that the pharmacy was getting ready to close when I had the prescriptions filled and thats prob. why the man was in a hurry and mixed them up. (I DON'T CARE!) Then they told me when this happens they usually refund the money and give people 5 free prescriptions. Now my first reaction to them was o.k. so your saying you do this a lot! Well she said no but then my next reaction was to let everyone in the line for the pharmacy know what they did, so I got a bit loud and told them you almost killed my newborn son and you actually expect me to take 5 free prescriptions from you idiots when the 2 I paid for you couldn't even get right! So then they had a manager come up and talk to me who just kept shoving a release form in my face to sign. I told him to shove it in his (you know) and told him after I sue him and own the f---ing store he would be fired.

Now I haven't followed through with this because I thought this was a once in a lifetime mistake, but lately I have been hearing a lot of this and some people have actually died. If anyone else out there has ran into this kind of thing let me know. Or if you know a good attorney for this kind of thing please let me know.

Walmart ridiculous pricing

Well, the pictures were beautiful and the photographer was good, but their pricing is horrible now. Also, they don't tell you about the real deals. Those $5 and $7 packages are just to get you to come there and then they try to make you spend tons on all of these enhanced pictures for extra instead of letting you see the unenhanced ones as well. She told us that a digital cd was $119! They are nuts, you can get a $10 package and a digital cd at Sears for $40 pretty much all year around. If it were like that pricing, then we would have bought the cd too. They don't do proof sheets anymore either, which really sucks, I liked having those to reference for ordering more pictures, especially when you want to show relatives who want to order more. On top of that, she got my husband to buy a smiles club card. She failed to tell us (or we didn't hear her because she was talking like a million miles a second to try to sell the expensive stuff) that they have a gift collection which includes the smiles card for $30. Then she tells us that if we don't get one of those signature collections which are like freakin $60 and way more, that they charge a $10 surcharge to come in and get more sheets of different poses. They are crazy! From now on, it will be Olan Mills or Sears thank you very much. Walmart is too expensive on pricing for what they offer. Honestly, I have done pictures of my nephews and neices myself that everyone thought was professional and better than Walmart. It seems like no one likes what they do in general. Basically, Walmart is full of crap and any dealings with them or the stores inside the centers will leave you screwed. They teach them to hurry people in and out, sell them on as much as you can without giving them a fair deal, etc.

Hopefully now I am armed with the correct information. I recd an email which stated my card had been credited with $50. ...But no directions where the card is or what you have to do to get the card. This is a big rip off, i have gone through every step they told me to do and still have not recieved anything other than a notice saying its still being processed! I have called comcast and they seem to have NO idea about it! I have called the guy that stopped me in the store and he just tells me that it takes time for it to process! BULL! Same here. I have called many times and still no $200 rebate. I signed up in November 2009 and still have no rebate. This was one of the reasons I switched from Verizon. Overall I think Verizon is a better company. They gave me a choice of a digital camera or a $200 gift card. I chose a camera and it was sent in less then two weeks aftr signing up. Comcast has good movies on demand and I save money on my business phone. Those two things are the only good things I can say about Comcast because they are near to the bottom in customer service as well. Do not trust everything the smooth talking sales reps tell you. There is a process for the express payback card or rebate from WalMart. The reason why Comcast doesn't know about it is because the rebate and card is WalMart's thing, NOT COMCAST. In order to get the rebates (I have gotten one myself and the card) you have to mail your rebate forms with a copy of your entire bill (not just the first page) so if there is 4 pages to your bill, send all of them in with the rebate forms that you get from the WalMart/Comcast representative. If you get the forms/ card from a Walmart employee but not a representative of Comcast you have to then call Comcast to place an order. The order must be placed the same day the rebates are printed out. Once your service is installed you have to follow the process:

WalMart Rebates for Comcast Services:
1) Copy of the entire 1st or 2nd months bill
2)Mail the rebate forms along with the 1st months bill to the address on the rebate forms
(its a PO Box in New Jersey)
3) You have to mail this out within 120 days after install
4) It takes 3-4 months to receive the rebate in the mail
*If you don't qualify for the rebate you will get a post card in the mail. You qualify if you are a new residential customer to Comcast Digital cable, HD, Internet or Digital Voice.

WalMart Express Payback Card:
1) You must have an install date and time the same day your card information is printed out.
2) You must go through with install
3) Call the number on the paper work [protected] or go to www.comcastrebatecenter.com to activate the card.
4) After activating the card you have to wait 6-8 weeks to receive the funds on the card
*If you don't qualify for the card you will get an email if you provided one. If you didn't you can go to the website or call that number again to see the card update. Promotional offer is only available to new Comcast residential customers subscribing to Comcast Digital Voice, Digital Cable, Digital Cable with HD services or Comcast Basic customers upgrading to Comcast Digital Cable or Comcast Digital Cable with HD, in Comcast serviceable areas. Must not have been a Comcast customer for the qualifying service within 120 days prior to order date, or terminated such service twice before. Service must be ordered from participating Wal-Mart locations. Limit one card per household. Activation of service must be completed within 60 days from order date. Card must be registered within 60 days from service activation date.

It might seem like alot of work, but I have gotten both the card for $200 last December for internet and cable and this year the rebates were a little less for cable and phone ($75 cable $75 internet) So I got the $150 check for cable and internet hook up. So, read the paperwork people.

Walmart scam

Well, it seems Walmart Automotive is the leader in the old bait and switch scam..one year ago I bought 4 brand new tires for my car and then was talked into the "lifetime guarantee" for each tire I purchased. I made sure and asked repeatedly does this mean if anything happens to my tires they will be replaced free of charge" I was told everytime "yes Mam".. well, two months ago I had a flat tire so I called and again asked about my lifetime guarantee will my tire be replaced free of charge? the Woman I spoke to look up my info and said "yes Mam according to your lifetime guarantee contract it will be free of charge" so I went in and that's where the song and dance began..all they kept saying (once they had me there in person) was "you'll have to pay a fee if more then 25% of your tire has been used" they called it a "25% usage fee"..funny, that fee was never mentioned when I was conned into pay alot more for the "lifetime replacement guarantee" for each of my new tires had they told me that I would NOT have paid that extra money and they knew it! What really made me mad was when the mechanic said "if you pay for another lifetime guarantee on this replacement tire I will let you have it for free" I said hell no.. What good is a lifetime guarantee when you still have to pay for service they are allegedly guarantee for a lifetime..when I pointed this out to him he finally relented and gave me my free tire as per our agreement..well, now it's (flat tire) happened again (btw different tire) so I again called them this time they flat out refused to honor their "lifetime guarantee" for my new tires..so basically they have my money for a guarantee they refuse to honor and I have a flat tire I cannot afford to fix..thank God we have a spare I can use until I get up the money to buy a new tire or have this one fixed, but I swear to any God you name I will NEVER do Automotive business with Walmart again and I WILL warn my Friends to steer clear of them as well! Walmart Automotive employees are con artists and thieves and the only way they can prove to me they are not is to either start honoring the lifetime guarantee for each tire I paid extra for or refund that money I paid initially! So beware of Walmarts' "lifetime warranty" on their tires that you pay extra for..it is WORTHLESS! Also keep in mind I bought 4 brand new tires about 1 year ago and now 2 out of 4 have gone flat therefore beware of quality of tires from Walmart in general!

To day I went to Walmart for a oil change one car in shop for oil change in bay #2 arrival time 2011-03-31;02:03 was told to pull into bay #1 I parked car at bay door and went inside to wait observe employe pulled 9mins. later .There was a lady inside whose car went into bay # 2 just ahead of mine we waited and observed together and about 20 mins. of goofing off someone raised hood on both car and put finder covers on both cars about that time a car was pulled into bay #3 for a battery almost 30mins.later after the lady and myself trying to find out why no one was working on our cars, they began working both cars and at 03:10 shop person came into waiting room with key to my car and my car was ready but the ladies car would be a while longer. I protested the time that it took change oil and was told that they had tires top check in and they were sorry for my wait.Ask for store manager to be called but to no avail so told that I live near the KIA plant in Georgia and that a new KIA rolls off the line every 24mins.and I don't think it should take a hour to change oil and filter that it took me at home about 20mins . I paid my bill of $40.44 add left never to return for oil change at Walmart.

Today, October 18 at around 2:30 p.m. I took my car to walmart for a new tire. I pulled my paperwork for the road side assistance program and reviewed it with the walmart technician (Matt) he informed me that I would have to pay $5 for balancing and $10 for road side assistance on the new tire. They were backlogged so I left the vehicle and went home. 3 hours later upon returning, I was informed my car would be $88 for the repair. I explained to the very rude checkout lady (Shelly) what Matt had previously instructed me. I ask to speak with the manager. The assistant manager came back and said, "sorry nothing I can do" We later spoke with Tansy at the service desk and she "if we had been called" regarding the price change, we told her NO, she then went back and talked with the Automotive department with me. She spoke with several different people and kept apologizing that she was unable to do anything, but she also agreed that we should get the tire for the price quoted. Shelly, the checkout lady continued to mimic and trash talk to Tansy about us and the situation. We finally left Walmart 45 minutes later and $61 dollars lighter. I plan to contact the local media not only because it was wrong but just the general attitude of the clerk has me ticked off!. Store located in Katy Texas

First off don't be stupid, there is no life time waranty on tires from any walmart. It's called a road hazard waranty. I have it on my tires. second, you are ###ed, just why is it that you think tires go flat? I wonder if maybe you are just ignorant about anything automotive. Since you have no idea what you are saying I'll Explain it for you. If you get a nail or whatever stuck in your tire IT WILL GO FLAT. if you never check your tires, they do lose air over time and will eventualy GO FLAT. If you have devious kids around where you live eventualy one or more tires WILL END UP FLAT. The most agravating part about this is where you said somthing rather ###ed about the quality of the tires. Wal-mart does not make their own tires. They are shipped to them from vendors such as GoodYear and Michelin tires plants, both well known and respected manufacturers. Third don't be an ignorant shopper get this crap in writing. Millions of companies have to pay out billions becouse people like you cry oh my god you broke my car becouse they figure it's a huge company they can afford it. Grow up, learn from it, that is if it realy even happened and get your poo in writing.

Walmart wal-mar rips you off on prepaid cellphones

I bought a Net 10 prepaid phone because the price per minutes is set at 10 cents. I also bought 400 minutes. After about 3 months, the phone stopped working. I paid around $50 for the phone alone. I attempted to return it to Wal-Mart in Stephenville, Texas where I bought it, but after talking to an assistant store manager and several electronics dept. "associates", they refused to refund my purchase price. The "associates" even admitted the phones "are a piece of crap" (their words) yet they sure don't mind suckering people into buying them. I ended up with a worthless phone and a lot of minutes, also non-refundable. Keep in mind that Tracfone, the biggest ripoff in the world of prepaid phones, also owns Net 10. It's just another avenue for them to ripoff people around the world. When you buy minutes from Tracfone or Net 10, you will NEVER get a refund on airtime bought, so you would have to be an IDIOT to buy one of their "year" plans. If anything goes wrong, which is almost guaranteed, you're screwed!
And Wal-Mart is just as big a ripoff for selling merchandise from such scam companies that provide the poorest customer service on the planet. And by the way, the "associates" at the Stephenville, Texas Wal-Mart will do ANYTHING to avoid you if you simply ask them for help of any kind. They are very unfriendly. They have a grouchy old lady working in electronics that looks at you like you're a common criminal if you're shopping, yet never bothers to ask "May I help you?". They should have gotten rid of her long ago.

I've had Net 10 for nearly 5 years. Wal Mart is an agent or vendor for Net 1o, not like a Verizon store or such. Additionally, the program with Net 10 is pay flat rate, get lots of minutes with no daily fee.

The individual with the failed phone and the minutes should have called Net 10. And anyway, he could have took one of the phone with minute deals for a new phone (29.95) with 300 free minutes (30.00 worth) and basically replaced his phone. Net 10 would have gladly transferred his service and number (I've done it online for free on the Net 10 website for free, it's easy enought o do without help form Net 10) So the bottom line is I'm sorry the individual had a bad phone, but his complaint against Wal Mart and Net 10 is without any foundation, because he could have replaced the defective phone for FREE, had his number, service time and minutes transferred over to his/her new phone and benn better off than before.

It comes down to people (this guy included) do not want to become knowledgeable shoppers. He needed to call Net 10 (number on www.net10.com) NOT Tracphone. TracPhone is the parent of Net 10. He could have gone on line to Net 10 and chatted or called, or simply folled the online prompts to solve his problem. It's EASIER TO BELLYACHE and COMPLAIN than to take charge and responsibility for ones problems.

Net 10 is fantastic! They have helped me time after time to continue my service and keep my minutes. Last December right before Christmas I had a Net 10 phone stolen. Net 10 helped me transfer my minutes and service time to a new phone with no hassle at all! Anyone complaining about Net 10 has not taken advantage of their easy to use web site or customer service.

You should have bought a cheaper model, to test the waters with Net10.

There are some basic phones available that are $30, and they come with 300 minutes free. So, you are really paying for the minutes, and getting the phone for free. Great way get a new phone every so often.

Sometimes my husband and I get these, transfer our old phone numbers (and minutes/airtime credits) to the new phone. Then we use the old phone as a back-up battery charger... keeping it charging, while we use the other one. We have been using Net10 for over 3 years, and think it is a great.

The return policy is 15 days, so 3 months later doesn't qualify for a return. You could have easily found this out. I've used a low-end Net10 at one point for a year (from Walmart, not that it matters) and it worked just fine, also when speaking to Tracfone's reps they were willing to replace the phones by shipment if anything was wrong. I hear so many people attacking Walmart because it doesn't have an indefinate return policy, I hate people like this.

While Wal-Mart is being quite unreasonable about not letting you return the phone, you're being unreasonable by saying that Wal-Mart is bad for selling products from a company that YOUR OPINION states is a "scam." You could be the only one out of a billion people who thinks they're a scam. Wal-Mart is a business, a resource for people to buy products. They can't cut an entire product line and displease potential customers just because one person is pissing like a little girl. Grow up.

Walmart return of phone

I have shopped at walmart for years, not anymore! I was to leave for vacation and everyone suggested I get a pay as you go phone. So I thought ok I could pick this up at walmart. I went there to get a phone which the electronics guy didn't seem to know a whole lot, but I could figure this simple thing out, so I purchased the T-Mobile pay as you go along with a extra minutes card.

I get home load the phone, try again and agian to load the sim card only the little clip is broken that holds card in place, so the next morning I 'm supposed to leave at 5 am for vacation, I stop by walmart and they do not open until 6am. This is okay I'm only gonna lose a hour travel, was I ever wrong on that, I go to customer service to return phone and was told I needed to go to electronics they would be able to help me.

I get back to that department and the gril there tells me they don't open that up for service until 9am. This is total to long for me to wait, so I go back to the service desk and just asked to return the phone and extra minutes card, and the guy calls over the shift manager(PAT) and I explain how this doesn't work and would like them to remove this from my credit card. While she is sifting through the bag she comes across the minutes card and the seal is scratched off she refuses to return the card. At this point its 7am and I try to explain it's not my fault the damn phone and card is missing the seal, this was my first experience purchasing both products.

I told her I didn't appreciate the way I was being treated and that I would never step foot in there or any other walmart for the rest of my life. I would spend approx. 600.00- 1500.00 per month at their store with grocery's and misc. things. I was very disappointed in the whole experience of trying to return this product, and plan to shop at TARGET, MEJIER, AND ANY OTHER STORE OTHER THAN WALMART.

Walmart price adjustment

I purchased a food product at the price shown and was charged a different price at the register. I took the manager and showed her the price shown, she, removed the price tag and said that it was incorrect. I did not purchase the article at the increased price at the register. If a price is shown on the product when it is purchased and is incorrect, that mistake should not be at the customer's expense. She refused to sell the item at the price that was marked, explaining it was priced incorrectly. It was a matter of only. 69 cents, but the principle of the matter is that the customer was paying for an employees mistake in showing the incorrect price. This is wrong and I will stop shopping there.

I was purchasing two items, one being a pk of 60 black & brown hair elastics. The tag for this item was upside down but read $3.50. The product was pushed back on the holder. Upon checking out, the total amount seemed more than it should have been so I asked how much they rang up as. The clerk told me $5.50. I then said the tag read $3.50. The clerk followed me to the aisle and I showed him where the product was located. He then stated he couldn’t sell me the item for $3.50 as it was not the price. He then looked over the hair elastic area and could not find one peg which had the correct price. (I might also note that at least half of the items did NOT have any pricing tags.
The clerk then said that a customer must have put this back in the wrong spot. I said normally that would be so but since there were FOUR (4) of these on the wrong peg, I doubted it. I work in retail and if I had treated one of our customers like he treated me, I would be unemployed.

wow I have been reading all these for awhile now and I think you should go shop at the walmart where the white woman was accosted by a black lady that asked to see her receipt.(which is NOT uncommon) I bet you 10-1 that man was an older man. Walmart ruined oil pan

I took in my car for a routine oil change but found out that the last time Walmart did my oil change they forced the wrong plug in and it was stripped when they went to change the oil. So they sent me to THEIR repair place - no, i didn't have a choice in the repair shop - and Walmart would reimburse me. Went to THEIR place for repair, had it "done" and Walmart paid me. Mind you, this took place back in April 2008. Fast forward to August 2008 when I mistakenly took my car back to Walmart for another oil change. Was told that THEIR repair place didn't do the work correctly and now I'm STUCK - tough out of luck - because they reimbursed for the repair. So I'm stuck getting the entire oil pan replaced for $500. THIS IS ALL FOR WALMART'S MISTAKE of shoving a WRONG oil plug back in the pan. How does that happen when there's only 2 bays for oil changes? Oh, and the repair place is "conveniently" out of business. WALMART SUCKS.

I had problems with my oil being changed at walmart also. Different problem though I told them the type of oil . I would have never known any difference, except they left half a quart of oil in my floor board. I ask them after getting in it what was this ? There reply oh thats rest of your oil we could only get 4 and a half quarts in it . My car holds five. I made them take that oil out and watched them put the right oil in and the right amount in. Lesson learned I have not taken my car back to them since for a oil change.

Walmart visa prepaid card

I purchased a Wal-mart Money Card/ Visa Prepaid Card on Jan. 31, 2017 and I have tried calling to activate the card, twice; and to date I still cannot activate it. I, also, faxed information that was required to verify my address.

At the time of purchase, I was told I had to put some money on the card along withthe purchase of the card, which was $20.00 + $8.94, totaling $28.94 and I still cannot use the card. In addition, I cannot add more money to the card until it is activated.

I would like to hear from a real person on this instead of talking to machines that cannot help me. And I would like my money returned or activation for the card to go through.

For the past 2 months I have been trying to get a refund on a Wal-Mart Money Card I purchased that was lost. I gave the rep ALL receipt info at initial claim and was told that the card had not been activated nor used and a refund would be investigated. I requested at that time that the card be frozen from activation and use as it was no longer in my possession. I have followed up in two week increments and given three different claim numbers and nothing was done except noting frivolous notes on each account to justify closing the claim. For the first time on 1/3/2017 I was asked to fax the receipt in which I did within 1 hour of the request. I faxed it three times from two different fax machines to ensure receipt. I saved my transmission confirmations. On 1/5/2017 I was told that no fax had been received. I found out two days ago that that card has now been used and was given yet another claim number because the card had been used. I was AGAIN asked to fax receipt. On today, 1/7/2017, I faxed the receipt again plus the three previous fax confirmations. I realize that the Wal-Mart Money Cards are outsourced which I am sure Mr. Sam Walton would not appreciate as he would also not appreciate this lack of customer service I have been provided. Sometimes it is not worth the savings to outsource. Wal-Mart needs to take interest in its affairs in other countries that affect Americans. This was my thirteen year old daughter's money she earned dog sitting in which she was going to use to purchase i-tunes and online games.

At first the wal mart money card was an exxcellent idea. No papers to fill out direct deposit use it any where visa is excepted, but now you have to pay to reload everytime, monthly membership fee s apply monthly( no problem) but then you load money and can't get money off. You try to call customer support and they charge you for that too. Come on now its our money not yours and we pay to use the card. So, how is it fare to us. That's not saving money Wal- Mart, that's spending more than you sve.

I was in search of a pre-paid VISA card that could have amounts of over 500.00 on it. My father had just passed away so I wanted to send my mother on a all expense paid trip to Gatlinburg to relax and heal a bit. So someone suggested the Wal-Mart money card. I went to Wal-Mart and purchased three..two with 500.00 each on them and one with 400.00 on it. My aunt and brother(who would their driver) was accompanying her. So I got the cards and activated them online. I thought all was good until I got a call Sunday night that one of the cards was not working at a gas pump. This was the night before they left. They got it straightened out. The next day after getting to Gatlinburg they went and had a nice meal. Well...none of the cards worked so my Mom had to pay for the meal. We called Wal-Mart(they had to conference me in) and they said there were blocks on the cards due to some information I entered incorrectly for just one. They also said all three cards would be terminated completely in 2 weeks even if the money was not spent. The blocks were lifted and I thought all was ok. So today I get another call from my brother...blocks had been put back. We got on the phone with them again. I said this has to stop. I want my mother to have a good relaxing time. They apologized...said the blocks were lifted..yada yada. Not 10 minutes later...the blocks were back on. I got another call. So we called them back. This time I had to shut the door to my office for fear I was going to start yelling I was so frustrated. I told them if the blocks happened again I'd be hiring an attorney that this was beyond ridiculous. My brother, aunt, and mom are 300 miles+ away from home with limited personal funds and this was all they had.
I told my brother to withdraw what was left off of each card so they'd have the money they needed in case the a block was put back on again.
This crap has completely ruined my week. I'm a widow of under 2 years out myself and know how badly my Mom needed this little break and these idiots put a major damper on it. She swears it is all ok but I know it had to have taken some of the fun out of it. I will NEVER set foot in that horrible place again nor will ever purchase a Money card from them. I will just stick with the VISA gift cards from now on. The extra expense is worth not having the stress associated with a Money Card.

Walmart wrong battery

My sister recently had Wal-Mart auto services install a battery in her car. After a few days the car stalled and had to be towed to garage. The mechanic found that the wrong battery had been installed. It was too high, it overheated and welded the hood latch shut as well as caused damage to the underside of the hood.

The cost of the damage was $490. She had the Walmart receipt for the battery and installation, a receipt from the mechanic who fixed the damage clearly stating that the cause was the installation of the wrong battery, and pictures of the damages. She submitted these undisputable facts to Wal-Mart's claim management company (CMI) and her claim was denied.

They blamed the manufacturer of the battery not the ###s that installed the wrong one. It appears from many other online horror stories that Walmart never takes responsibility for any damage caused by incompetent mechanics.
