PictureME Photography poor quality/unprofessional custonmer svc.

I truly believe this company is a complete fraud. I had a portrait sitting for my daughter on 10-31-09. I received the photos today. Suffice it to say, they looked NOTHING like the proofs. I paid for the pitures in their entirety upon order. However, I was never advised that Picture Me Portraits has a "NO REFUND" policy. Surprise, Surprise- this was NEVER mentioned upon order! Additionally, the sales staff, specifically, Chelsa, was rude, dismissive, condescending and totall unprofessional upon request of refund. And the PIECE-DE-RESISTANCE lies with the BS customer service number they provide you with. As I write this complaint, I am STILL ON HOLD- which I have been for the past 45 minutes. FUNNY THOUGH- it took me only 34 seconds to get a rep to book a sitting! Save yourself time, money and aggrevation that I am contending with now- DO NOT USE THIS STUDIO!

P.S.- ...STILL ON HOLD...

I would like to express how disappionted I was when I entered one of your store in Walmart on 04/10/10. I approached the lady at the couter and Asked if we could get a sitting. I was told we had to make appointment, I looked at your signage and it clearly says WALK IN or Schedule Appointments welcomed. The lady working the counter stated she was from another store and was just assisitng this store.. I totally get that. but she was unable to log into your computer system and was unable to get me in and did not even offer to set up an appionment for me. for I was at your store at 10:00am your staff member was not open and kept making excuses why she could not log in to te computer. I asked for the managers name and was given a phone number that did not work. I will say that was my first experience with your company and it was not a good one. I work in customer service my self and I know how to satified a customer.

Thanks

I worked at a picture me for four months, and it was the worst four months of my life.

Here's a Day in the Life of a Picture Me employee:

Clock in 15 minutes before opening time. Answer at least 3 questions from people who walk up to you while you are trying to clock in, despite the CLOSED sign and that the lights are all off.

Count the money in the till, while answering the phone 4 times before 10:00 and try not to lose count of the money.

Explain to the person on the phone the price on packages and photo options, like you will do for the 10, 000th time every day, because the company refuses to print out a price sheet which the customers could easily grasp.

Take photos of a cranky, hungry, clearly sleepy 2 month old baby while reminding mom the whole time that you are required for her to sit next to her baby the whole time for the child's safety. Try your best not to lose your patience when Grandma comes over and fusses over the baby's practically non-existent hair, using up the only possible 5 minutes before you completely lose the baby's ability to be still for a picture.

When showing the pictures, which is a step-by-step process in which you are required to constantly try to upsell the customer into more expensive options, try to pretend like you really enjoy bilking people out of their money, it is the only possible way to feel good about what you are doing when you know people only want the cheapest possible package.

The other side of that story is that the employee is paid a very low wage (in some cases minimum wage) and the company promises them more money based on their sales. The commission is the only way the employee ever makes any kind of money.

So unfortunately, if you walk in and tell me you only want the 7.99 package, I STILL HAVE TO TAKE 6-7 POSES AND TRY TO UPSELL YOU INTO THE MOST EXPENSIVE PACKAGE POSSIBLE.

I was a good employee, I came in with several years of photography, sales, and experience with children.

I showed up early every day, stayed late every night, kept a smile on my face no matter what, bent over backwards to make all customers happy (NOT POSSIBLE, BTW).

Was that good enough?

NOPE.

EVERY DAY these employees are threatened with the possible loss of their jobs. If you don't remind that mom to sit beside her child, you will lose your job. If you don't make at least 30 cold calls to customers today (the manager was supposed to make 10 calls a day on the previous 2 days that she worked, but she was "busy" and left you a note to do it instead) you will lose your job. If you don't take at least 6-7 poses you will lose your job. If you turn away any customer, you will lose your job. If you do not answer the phone, you will lose your job. If you do not take out the trash (manager too busy to do her portion of this, again... ) you will lose your job. If you do not drop everything and come in on your day off, you will lose your job. If you are closing the store up at 9:30 at night and a customer walks up and you turn them away, even though you closed at 7:00 (which never really happens) you will lose your job. EVERY SINGLE DAY I was threatened with the loss of my job.

Then came the Christmas season.

When I had worked 12 days in a row with no days off, yet my manager somehow managed to have fewer hours worked and plenty of days off, and I discovered bald spots from pulling out my hair from the stress of photographing a new customer every 15-30 minutes (you have to stay on time, despite the company allowing customers to schedule themselves for large groups even, every 15 minutes... ) and everyone wants 2 or 3 outfit changes and 3 or 4 different backgrounds and oh we want to try that one pose that Sally's baby had done (Sally's baby was a happy, sitting-up age baby, and their baby is a cranky, hungry, 2 day old baby that cannot support its head let alone sit up like Sally's baby...)

Customers come in with completely unrealistic expectations. If you have a newborn baby, you are going to realistically need the better part of an hour for your appointment. Not because the photography takes that long, it doesn't. The way newborns need constant attention, spit up, need feeding, need changing, need sleep, etc. Esp. if you want outfit changes and special poses.

And please, for the love of God, leave Grandma and Grandpa at HOME. They only get in the way, try to take over, and their constant negativity or comments do NOT help. Our studios are small enough as it is, and the more people and bodies you jam in there, the hotter it gets for everyone and the more nerve-wracked the mother and child become, making nice pictures impossible.

If you have a large group, schedule earlier, not later, in the day. Everyone always schedules groups of 10 or more at the last appointment of the day, when the photographer is tired, worn out, probably hungry because they probably are the only worker there and they were probably required to work through their lunch break. Then everyone wants ten different breakdowns of the family, one of Suzy in her christening gown, and wait, how about Suzy, grandpa, and Uncle Joe, but make sure it looks exactly like Uncle Joe's picture from 10 years ago... do you still have that background?

Anyone who has worked there for 1 day can tell you this is just the tip of the iceberg of what the employee puts up with.

They are told it is a photography job, and nothing could be further from the truth. This job is a wear-out-the-customer job so that you can get them to spend as much as humanly possible. All those screens on the computer, all those extras, I hated doing that. But guess what? If we skipped a step, we would lose our job.

Then came the day they made us imitate circus clowns. We had to stand outside the entrance, with a big Spin-The-Wheel thing, and try to grab any customer walking by, make them "SPIN TO WIN!" and try to get their business. I never in my life felt more like a circus monkey.

So because the company treats its employees so terribly, it is unable to maintain very many good employees, and esp. any employees over the age of 25. Most of the employees are young women straight out of high school.

So please take all this into consideration before you go to this place for your treasured family memories. And don't be surprised when what you pay for is what you get. When you walk in and decide you want the $7.99 deal, you are going to get about that much worth for your trouble. And you WILL have to wait your turn, for the love of God, would people stop complaining about a normal part of life.

Me and My sister took our children to Picture me in Berlin on 12/21/09. First I want to say the place is sooooo small I couldn't breath once two other people came. The manager Tiffany was very nice to us and patient, which we were gratefull for concidering my nephew is autistic. After taking the pictures we went with the other girl who worked there to make our selections. While selecting our pictures 4 different people came into pick up their pictures. Instead of finishing with us she said excuse me and helped the our customers. The first time we were like ok no problem, but then 2, 3 and 4th time it became very rude to us. My nephew being autistic has very short patience. He was freaking out which was quite clear to the girl, however she kept taking other customers and making us wait. Well surprise when the pictures came in we were missing 1 sheet. I guess so if your going to take other customers instead of finishng with us first. I called the manager Tiffany to advise her of the missing sheet. She appoligezed and threw in 2 extra sheets telling me it would take 1-2 weeks to get them in. I was thankfull for the 2 extra sheets, but the missing sheet was for my Daughter's pop-pop for a Christmas gift. Well today is 1/7/09 and I have yet to get a call from the store advising me tht my pictures are in. I've been calling all morning and the phoneis just BUSY! LOL My advise to people who want great pictures and great service is go to Kidie Candids in Bbies R Us. They are more money, but soooo worth it. Way better pictures and more props for you to use and very very nice people.

I had a similar experience, the sales staff was actually very nice, but the site was very poorly run (long waits to view proofs and pick up pictures). The picture quality was awful. After talking to the store manager (who told me she could "do nothing for me") and waiting over a week to get a reply from the corporate office (I filled out the online form because I got tired of sitting on hold) I have talked with my credit card company and I am disputing the charges for the photos. I recommend you do the same.

As a manager of a Walmart portrait studio i am very upset to hear an associate talk about their job like I just read. All the points listed do happen on occasion but its part of the job that you brush off because it is a very rewarding job. I like providing families with great portraits even on hectic days. I have been in my studio for almost 3 years and enjoy the challenges of all different personalities and circumstances that arise. If you are working for our studios and cannot enjoy your job there are other jobs out there. It does take the right person to work with all the situations but it does not take a high pressure sales person to keep at company expectations. Professional pictures taken with a smile on your face will take you to that level of satisfaction for our company and most of all our customers.

I was a photographer for this company and we now have to call customers to try to get them to schedule appointments.I have been told many times that they do not want us to call them.I understand this completely.I wouldn't want someone to call me and waste my airtime minutes. To all those customers i have called "I am sorry.", but if those calls are not made we get FIRED!

PictureME Photography unauthorized charges

On August 6th, 2009 I took my 1 year old daughter to have her pictures made. I told the photographer
we only wanted to spend $80.00. We started taking pictures and my little one started to cry. Half of the pictures came out OKAY, but the rest were showing my daugther with a runny nose! The lady then tried to persuade me to purchase the pics of my little ones runny nose. After denying those, she tried to talk me into purchasing pics with edits on them, we denied those as well. After stating we wanted the $80 packet, she tried to sell us a CD, which we denied because it was $40 extra dollars. Eventually the woman said she would throw in 2 CD's and 2 10x30's for a grand total of $174 dollars. Already frustrated, we agreed to pay $174 for everything and walk away. Upon checking out we viewed a grand total of $218.26!I said why is this price so high? She stated it was taxes on the products! When we got home we viewed the receit again, I noticed she charged me $119.00 for those 10x30's which i didnt want in the first place! This woman tried to manipulate me into paying for things I DID not want! I will NEVER go back to this place again. I ended up paying $218.26 for NOTHING. The pictures were not even that great and the customer service was horrible! Mark my words...Better Business Bureau here I come. I understand the upselling of a product but I was not being upselled I was being raped with ridiculous charges!Yeah, I would say Im pissed.

Means their sales were down and they didn't want to get ripped a new one for a small package. We get introuble if we don't get high numbers our jobs get put on the line for low sales.

I've gotten to the point i don't even care anymore it's suppose to be our busy season I had 0 appointments on the books got 2 people in for 7.99's
I didn't care to upsell them because some people just can't afford it

we have alot of appointments this weekend and i have 4 of them requesting me because i dont' care about avg anymore i just care about capturing good moments.

most of my costomers would love to buy more but can't afford to thats why they love me not pushing them and come back more often

PictureME Photography low resolution photos sold as hi res

I went to Pictureme Portrait Studios in Wal-Mart to have some pictures taken for me to use in marketing materials. I am a realtor and need Hi Resolution photos for signs and other marketing stuff. They sell a Hi Resolution photo CD with copyright release for $119.99 ($128.39 with tax).
When I got the CD home, the pictures were between 200 and 300KB (No where close to "Hi Resolution"). I was told by the graphic artist I am working with that Hi Resolution photos start at 3MB and go up from there. NOTE: Before I purchased, I told the clerk what I needed the photos for and specifically that they needed to be large file size high resolution photos. She said, "The cover says they are hi resolution, I don't know how large they are, but they would'nt sell them that way if they were'nt hi resolution".

So I called the studio. They told me to bring in the CD and the receipt and they would make a new CD. They did, when I got it home, it was the same file size as before. I called again, waited on hold 15 minutes, and was told I would receive a call back.

3 days later I called again (waited 15 minutes) and was told I would receive a call back from the district manager.

Well, the pictures were taken on 8/5/09, today is 8/28/09, I still have not received a call back. I called again, waited another 15 minutes and was told I will receive a call back from the district manager.
Same run around as before. NEVER NEVER BUY FROM PICTUREME PORTRAIT STUDIOS! Pictureme Portrait Studios has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with... Comcast comes close, but pictureme portrait studios takes the cake for the worst customer serivce on the planet. I beg you, please do not buy from them under any circumstances. Pictureme Portrait studios has the most horrible customer service on the planet. I hope they go out of business soon, or that Wal-mart evicts them for leaving such a bitter taste in the mouth of Wal-mart's customers.

So far I have waisted 3 trips to the store, and over 1.5 hours on the phone (45 minutes listening to elevater music before reaching a live person). It is no worth it! Don't use Pictureme Portrait Studios, no matter what.

yes I agree. Comcast is like gold compared to the CPI corporation. If you want another tip, Picture Me Portrait Studios is a sister company to Seers portrait studio. Seers is also owned by CPI. Now you know~ :)

PictureME Photography district manager

I walked into this studio about a month ago, on a whim, with my 5yr old thinking it would be fun to get some "candid" shots with props.

Sadly, they didn't have any props other then fake flowers or numbers. What kind of studio doesn't have props?!

I did it anyways, chose my backgrounds, as this very rude, heavily jersey accented woman named Terry proceeded to talk to my 5 yr old in this high pitched whiny baby voice. **I** don't even speak to my kid like that! It was like fingernails on a chalk board!

When I suggested she speak normally, she was offended - and continued with the voice. My son just stared at her like she was crazy - wouldn't smile (well duh!) and this sooo wasn't the fun time I was expecting. She did nothing but that irritating voice to make my son smile - which didn't work. She had no other tricks up her sleeve. NONE.

After an hr of trying new things, and nothing working - the pictures being mediocre at best, Terry then begins to alter the photo's in the viewing room, making these god awful collages, and turning photo's black and white, etc.

I asked her to please stop - I don't want anything she's making, I only want the advertised package. Nothing came out very well, and my son had had enough at this point. (screaming in his stroller)

Terry refused to stop - refused to order just my package stating company policy mandates her to create these items I don't want, and since it is time stamped, to please bare with her, she will do what she is required to do, and get me out of there asap.

Not good enough. I told her thanks for nothing, and to cancel my session. She said she couldn't cancel it, but if I didn't want to order from it, or if I changed my mind at a later date, they would be available for 60 days...

At this point I was out of patience, and asked for her managers contact info. Obviously this girl needed some training in customer service - when she said she was the District Manager, I almost lost my lunch! No wonder there's so many complaints online! They're all being trained by this woman!

I literally walked out of there with my screaming 5yr old while she sat on her fat ### still talking about me possibly wanting these mediocre photo's that my child could've taken!
No. No. And no!

This was suppose to be a fun, spur of the moment thing, that turned into a frustrating few hrs compliments of Terry, and her lack of photography/kid/people skills. The DISTRICT MANAGER!

portraits are about your child, not about props to begin with. Unfortunately the District manager told you right we were to create everything to inform you of what else we offered. District managers usually were not in the field and not behind the cameras usually it was studio managers or their associates.Usually the customer was told to wait 15 minutes so we could create those items and not have you be stressed and then show you what we offered after picking out your one pose for the package

First of all, don't let them talk. Just walk out if your pissed. It saves them the wasted time of trying to deal with a pissy customer, and it saves you time trying to get out of being sold a bigger package than you afford.

As for the 'whiny voice'. Photographers are people. We're not magical gods that know every trick in the book to make YOUR little snot nosed child giggle like he's on happy gas. They are taught a few different methods of child's play, but most of the photographers only do a few things that work well enough for them with the majority of their clients. They were just doing the job they were told/taught to do. Believe it or not, photographing children is one of the worst jobs out there. And with the economy as bad as it is, there is no job security working at CPI/PCA/PCI the picture me Portrait Studios.

Either they do it or they're fired. Then it's 6 weeks to 7 months looking for a new job. So just let them do their job. If your on a time schedule, you don't like the pictures or your child is freaking out? Just walk out. Nobody is forcing you to stand there at gun point. :

However on the district manager bit, that's about expected. The managers don't actually work in the studios. they sit at home and watch cameras or figure out payrolls in their living room couches. The associates themselves are usually better with customers than the managers are. The managers aren't in the studios enough to understand what needs to be done, but that's my personal opinion.

I understand your frustration with the photographer/manager. However, it sounds like you were unhappy from the beginning.

1. You wanted props, they had none.
2. She was unable to make your child smile.
3. You didn't even like the picutures.

I assume since you have a 5 year old that you are an ADULT. Then why would you stay in this situation for, as you claim, over an hour. WALK OUT THE DOOR. Thank the photographer for her time, inform her this isn't working for you and LEAVE. Take some responsibility already.

I don't understand why you would have such high expectations for a $7.99 portrait anyway. You get what you pay for.

haha I work there
we do unforinataly have to show you EVERYTHING it's to in the end upsell you.

Even if you want the main package.

I slack and cheat it and go as fast as possible in the sales area... unless my average is way down for the week. Then i sell my little heart out so i don't get yelled at.

With the 5.99-7.99 packages we are expected to keep an 90. average or get write ups. To me it's completely ###ed and utterly distaste full.

i've been running low averages so today i had to upsell and take many pics to get those perfect shots to sell high

makes me fell dirty taking that much money from people who only want that 7.99

PictureME Photography not explaining every options

When purchasing my photos I had expressed that I need one shot of every pose. I didn't need the CD or the membership to the Smile Club. I had ten photos and the package I found out there was a package for $69.00 that would have suited my purposes and wallet. When asked about it I was told I would not get one of every pose, so I was lead to believe that I needed to purchase the package that I got totaling $123.92. I have been a customer for over 7 years on a regular basis. You can pull up and see the regularity of my purchases. I will be searching for another photo studio.
Sincerely

you could always do it by the sheet, $10 a pop. but that might end up as like, $100 from how they work it. If you go that rout the 99 package gives you more bang for your buck then.

btw for 10 poses you can't get the bronze the 79.99
bronze you only get 5 poses with that collection.
you'd have to go into the
Silver the 99.99 collection
14 sheets all poses
6 enhancements
and a 10x13
but with the 20% off it's only 79.99

it's something we HAVE to do now we have to try to push costomers in a collection with cd and psc
or we get introuble.

I usually am upfront with all my costomers i give them the option of taking it off and i also tell them about the 20% off.

I hate trying to rip people off in these times when people dont have the money, i'm just happy they like my photography

PictureME Photography overcharged and more that 6-week wait for pictures

On 5/24/09 I went to Wal-Mart to PictureMe Portrait Studios. Their employee Connie admitted us. I wanted to take pictures of my two children. She took couple of pictures and when I asked her about the prices they have on pictures she told me that we will talk about it later. As she was talking pictures she kept running back to her desk answering the phone while my children were getting tired of sitting. later after we took the pictures and picked out the ones we like, she told us that it will be $159.00. I told her that I am not willing to pay that much for couple of pictures and asked her if they have any deals, she told me about $79.99 and the 20% off deal. I agreed but when it was time to pay she charged me $89.00, when I asked her why the price went up and where is the 20% discount. She told me that she misquoted the price and she is giving me the best deal ever because even when I pay $89.00 she already gave me 30% discount. She could not look me in the face as she continued telling me that their computers are changing and that I will not see the Discount on the receipt because she has to do it manually but after their technology changes it will be showing up on the receipt. I asked for the number to customer service and she told me their is none but when I mentioned that I saw the 1-888 number on one of the ad-card she said oh and grabbed the card. I told her that I want that number and she read it off really fast, so I bend down close to her and wrote it off, she told me that I cant have the card because it has the 20% coupon that was used, .
after we left the store I call the 888-Pic Me Too number and sure enough not only did she over charged me, she did not give me any discount, The customer service lady told me that she will need to call Connie and will get back to me but for two day no on e called me, I had to call again and finally the refunded me $25.00. So you can See I was over charged $25.00...
My pictures were due to come in 6/9/09 but no on e called me that they were ready, I called on 6/15/09 and left a message, they did not call me back. I went to the store and Connie was there again, she could not find my Picture and told me that she will call me tomorrow after she talks to the district to see where they are. I got a call the next day and now they are telling me that the picture will be in 7/3/09.
I called customer Service and asked for the full refund, they did not apologize for the service but did agree to refund me in full.
NEVER go to this PLACE if you want GOOD pictures and PRICE.
I was OVERCHARGED and the Service it self was AWFUL.

I made an appointment to have family holiday pictures taken at PictureMe Portrait Studio inside my local WalMart on Dec 7, 2017 @ 4:00pm. We arrived promptly at 4:00pm to find there were still customers waiting to have portraits taken. We were called to have our portraits taken @ 5:30pm (a full hour and a half after my scheduled appointment time).

Once we were called to have our pictures done I asked the girl to use a certain holiday background that I specifically asked if they had when I called to confirm my appointment (I was told yes they did have that background). The girl told me they do not have this background and that I would have to choose a different one. I dressed my family according to this background and was upset that I would have to choose something else.

So I chose another background (which I really didn't care for) and proceeded to explain to the girl how I wanted my family arranged in the picture, to which she told me we would be doing it another way. I must be mistaken because I was under the impression that these were my portraits and I was paying for them so at least I should be able to have them taken how I wanted.

Several of the shots she took were horrible and they refused to retake the shots because they said we were only allowed 6 shots whether they were good or bad. I guess I should feel lucky that a few of the shots were ok.

As we were going to view the portraits my husband overheard the store manager tell the photographer 'that woman is getting on my last nerve', referring to me. I was flabbergasted when my husband told me what he just heard.

I called Customer Service when I got home and asked to speak to a supervisor to which I was told there was none available. They suggested I make an appointment and have the portraits retaken. So I asked if all of the portraits that were retaken would be free and I was told no they couldn't do that. So let's think about this logically for a moment: They want me to make another appointment, get my family dressed (again), wait in line to have the portraits taken (again), pray that the portraits they take look halfway decent, and put more money out of my pocket for more pictures because they screwed up and I'm completely dissatisfied with my experience. I don't see where any of that benefits me.

The fact that the store manager made such a rude remark about me loud enough for my husband to hear it while I'm a paying customer should at least be grounds for me to be able to have our portraits retaken and all of them given to me for free.

I understand that sometimes things go wrong, sometimes you have to wait in line, sometimes they don't have what you want, but the entire experience was upsetting and I am completely disgusted. The portraits were TERRIBLE. I refused to purchase anything other than the advertised package because I was so disgusted with the entire experience. The portraits taken were not worth the prices they charge for their packages.

When I called Customer Service I was told there was no supervisor to help me, they told me they would pass the information along to the District Manager, I asked what the name of that person was and they gave it to me but refused to give me any contact information for this person.

So let me get this straight; they are in the business of dealing with the public everyday but if a customer has a complaint there is noone in charge to speak to. Great way to please your customers and make them want to return.

Christmas is suppose to be about care, love and kindness! So, I wanted to take a great family picture and send it for gifts. I thought wow, Pictureme studios was having a great offer on portraits!
I took my family down to the portrait studio with high hopes. In the beginning of our time spent there, the employees were helpful and courteous.
When it came our turn to have the picture taken, the service changed drastrically.
The employee taken our pictures was rude, impatient, and showed a complete lack of control. My five year old was so confussed as to what to do because this person was snapping at her. She literally had the audacity to look at my five year old and say "You will get over here NOW!" This was said without the employee ever giving my daughter any idea what to do.
My five year LOVES to have her picture taken and I have many beautiful pictures of her from many other studios, so she was happily waiting her turn when this was snapped at her.
I choose not ever to have my pictures take at PictureMe Studios AGAIN!

Well that's funny! I'm white and good looking and I was treated horribly and got terrible pictures. However, the hispanic associate treated the hispanic family in front of me with the upmost respect and through in almost every discount immaginable so that their pictures wouldnt cost as much. Race has nothing to do with this store.

PictureMe Portrait Studios overcharge and treat different races/cultures differently. If you are Hispanic, they will overcharge you and treat you crappy but if you are white and good looking they will treat you better...

I agree. Of course CPI is such a ### corporation, they're too cheap to hire more staff. Yet of course they say they're always hiring but they usually over schedule ONE person on their staff per studio, then divide up minimal to no hours for the other employees. It's really an awful place to work I dont advise it.

A few years ago the studios were great because they had more revenue, more associates and better customer service. Now they just kinda blow. :(

Hi. I ordered Christmas cards in November of 2012. The cards were printed incorrectly and had to be reordered. It took longer than expected and the order did not come in. Meanwhile, Christmas had passed. My family relocated out of state. I had requested to have 4 8x10 in exchange for the cards I was supposed to get. They were ordered. It is March of 2013 and I still have not received my pictures that were supposed to be mailed to me. I have had excuse after excuse...a manager was fired, the pictures were mailed to Washington (opposite side of country), etc. I have spoken to the new manager several times and have been promised numerous times that they will be mailed to me. There is absolutely no communication between her and her team. I have not even been offered a refund. These pictures are so important to me because it is of my son's first Christmas. I have been mistreated and deserve compensation for this problem asap. I have been a loyal customer and severely disappointed with the customer service and service I have received.

I bought the cd off all the pictures because the one i did like i could buy more of if i wanted but i didn't realize i was getting the bad ones to or i wouldn't of bought the cd and just got the ones i liked.

The photos that are uploaded to the internet are through the company's corporate office. So when you do call in and ask the studio why they are not showing they really do not know what is going on, because they have no control over the new uploading system...

Did you buy any of them already or was this for viewing and buying? I am just curious. There is a corporate number I would ask the local associate for that number. I bet they know what you should do! I have had several pictures taken and have been more than satisfied with access and selection. Lower cost than many of the other portrait studios, I like Lower, call me cheap. :) LPCG easttexaslady

PictureME Photography size of pictures

I'm very disappointed and upset with the company for changing the size of the wallets. I mean come on, the wallets that are called the wallets are too big for a wallet slot, does anybody that came up with this size of wallets actually have a wallet slot that size. My husband and I don't and none of my relatives or friends I given the pictures to, do either, they are also disgusted with the size. I would give them the next size down except it is so small you can barely see the picture and I feel like I'm jipping them if I give them one of those. You have these huge so called wallet size and then this itty bitty size, there is no in between. I also have this frame I put thier picture in for every month and thanks to you changing the size, the big are too big and the small ones too small. Thats because you guys' wallets are not actually wallets. I think you should really reconsider changing this, it's ridiculous, I can't imagine no one else has commented about this.

PictureME Photography wrong passport pohtos

I took a picture at PictureMe studio at Walmart (Central, SC).
The photographer took a picture of me with Polaroid camera for the US Passport. After taking a picture, she just gave a raw photo to me without cutting it into 2 x 2 inch size.
As you know, the Passport photo size should be 2 x 2 inches.
She said, the photos should be cut at the post office. It seems weird to me, but I went to the post office at Central, SC. The officer at the post office said the size of the photos is wrong and it does not meet the Passport photo regulation. So the photos can not be cut in the cutting machine.
So, I went back to the PictureMe studio at Walmart and asked a refund for this. She refused. Instead, she can take another picture. I asked her to cut the photos (2x2 inch size) here. She admitted that she does not have that 2x2 cutting outline so she sent me to the post office.
I said, if a new photo is wrong again, then what should I do? She said, then take another photo until it meets the passport regulation and size. I said, then back and forth from post office and walmart again and again. It is ridiculous. I said, I want to talk to her supervisor. She refused. Instead, she called someone by herself. She talked (looks like her supervisor) for a while.
I also shopped some food. So, I can not wait there anymore.
So, I had to put the food at my refrigerator at home.
I came back to PictureMe. She said, the supervisoer approved the refund. But, she asked me to show my Driver's license.
(I paid cash). She wants to keep my photos. I asked her to shred my photo. Before she took a photo, she asked my home address/phone and email.
Now, she got all my personal information including my mug shot photos, email, driver's license, home telephone, etc. I have never experienced this kind of lousy service.
I am really wondering if passport photos should be cut at post office.

So, when you take a picture at walmart,
it is advised to double-check if they can cut photos into 2 x 2 inch size and they can meet the US passport regulations although their ad clearly says they meet the regulation.

She should've cut your picture, yes. If she didn't have a template, just measure 2"x2" and cut along the lines drawn from a ruler. Not hard... I've done it numerous times when at a studio that didn't have a template.
As far as "having your mugshot" and info. What does that have to do w/anything? You want a refund, but to keep the pictures? Na... we need to keep them and staple them to the refund and paperwork. Its policy that we have you fill out our Customer Info Card, which is the info that our computer requires. We need to put your info in the system. Out of all of the people we deal with, why would we want YOUR info and "mugshot"?
Another thing... even after you leave- with pictures shredded, or not- there is always the option if the employee really wanted to(like they would?), all they'd have to do is print out another set. Not hard. But absolutely pointless!

They're supposed to cut the photos there for you. And by this point all studios should be digital and they should have a digital passport camera or a sony bluetooth. If the studio didnt have a template, thats their fault. Chances are said associate lost the template used for cutting the photos down, and really thats a shame.

PictureME Photography picture package

I went to the picture me studio to take my son pictures for his year old birthday and I made a $135.00 purchase for three poster like pictures which includes the lone poster frames like advertised in the portrait studio and I paid all the money the same day but when the photos came back I got the $7.99 package which is not what I paid for. I was furious and the lady told me that was what it shows in the system and I have the receipt. They aren't trying to give me back my money or the correct picture package in which I Ordered. Can someone do something or I'll have to take further action in court. Thank you!

I went in to pick up my childs photos that were taken three weeks ago. Th employee was with another family showing them pictures and knew I and another customer were there to pick up photos. I ended up standing there for thirty five minutes and it only takes one minute to hand me my photos they were paid for in full so I didn't need him to ring anything up. Yes, i understand he was with other customers but I have been in other times looking at my pictures and the employee asked if I would mind if they could go hand them there pictures. It was never a problem for me to let them do that.

Scheduled appt day before and came in early with my daughter and mother in law. Associate shut the fan off making the "studio" hotter that it was inside. Shot pictures but had a hard time entertaining my daughter. Then pushed product on me when asked price of sheets said was 16.99 but now was 9.99. So I purchased 2 sheets and the $5 package. She was annoyed when we switched the pose for the package and then rude to other customers behind us behind it was 6pm and they were closing. Then she rang me up and even with a 15% discount it came to $40, she said it was taxes. So I left and contacted customer service and they informed me the correct prices. They did not offer any resolution for this associates gross incompetence even after I said I would not be back. Trust me go to JC Penney Studios the staff might be young but they enjoy what they are doing. Plus for $40 you get a better quality and more pictures.

We had the first appointment of the day to have our daughters 1st birthday pictures taken. Also my wife and i and both of our parents were there to have pictures taken with her. We arrived early hopeing that they would be there on time and get started on time. The studio is supposed to open at 10am. At 10:15 we began calling the corporate office because no one had showed up. They didn't open until 9:30 central time. So we waited a little longer. We bagan calling the toll free number and the recording said we would have a 10 minute wait to please hold. After 20 minutes of holding we hung up. We then found the district managers number on the wall and began to call her. She never would answer her phone and would not call us back. we left message after message to call us back. It has been a week now and still no return call. Luckily we went to a more professional studio up the street and were treated very well. We left a few email complaints on their web site and have yet to receive a reply. I finally called the studio and spoke with the photographer, her reply was crappy at best, never apologized for not showing up for work on time. She could have at least called her missed appointments with an explanation and to try and correct her poor work ethics. All she said was come on back and she would make it right. Picture me has lost a customer, well, several customets because we have told everyone we know NOT to go there anymore. This company is joke anyway with their kiddy like collages, stupid color enhancements and all the other ignorant things they do to a picture. We go there to have pictures taken, not kindergarden picture shop photos.

A month ago I got my babies pictures taken purchasing the monthly special. I called to set up an appointment for my 3 year old soon after I picked my babies pictures up, and they told me I wasn't able to do it for at least 2 and a half more weeks if I wanted the ad special. I said that was fine and to set it up an appointment just as soon as I could get the ad special again, she set it up for the 19th of June. I went in today and she argued that I wasn't allowed to get the ad package until the 24th of June. I related the conversation with the girl who set the appoint up for me. From that point on the photograph acted like she wanted me out of there as soon as possible. She quickly took the 2 ad package pictures, not trying to get my little girl to smile, just took the pictures. Then after that she took a little more time trying to make her smile, but she was quick and in some instances very rude. When she finished she showed me the 2 pictures I could use for the ad special, the pictures were horrible, so I chose the $79.99 picture collection with 2 of the better pictures of my daughter. I feel she personally ruined the ad pictures so that I would not want them, because I hadn't waited the full 30 days. If the girl setting up the appointment would have told me the 24th I would have said fine, but I live 30 minutes away and spent a great deal of time getting my daughter ready for today. I should have walked out, but the travel time, the time I spent getting my daughter ready, and the waiting time for the appointment itself had me staying to finish the session. I had an absolutely horrible experience today thanks to Trini the photographer.

I was referred to your company from a close friend who just had a baby as well as I. I was very excited to have my daughters pictures taken and once the session was over I was able to look over all the photos and pick which ones I would like to purchase. I didn't like what I saw on the computer screen, it was blurry and foggy, the photographer reassured me that my photos will be just fine. So I went ahead and purchased the photo's trusting what she had said. The next day I still was not okay spending $100 dollars on photos that I was not completely satisfied with, so I rushed back to the same location and asked to speak with the manager (Elena). She was very unprofessional, rude, and barked at me. Her neck was full of hickies (suction marks) and her shirt was dirty not very approachable. Basically, Elena told me that it was my fault. She also said that I can not trust a "ghetto computer" and that the photos will be fine it was to late to stop the orders and we can not refund your money or do any retakes. I was so angry and upset with her and could not believe the tone of voice she was having and her attitude towards me as a customer. I was beginning to believe that my best friend was wrong to refer me to your company. I waited till my photos arrived and just as I mentioned before I was very upset with the outcome, my daughter is growing so fast and I wanted to capture a picture of her monthly. When I took her photo she was two months and when I picked up the photos she was already going on three. The original photographer under stood my frustration and said she will retake my photos. So I thought maybe her manager (Elena) was having a bad day and that I will give your company another try. Now you wouldn't believe that when I brought my daughter in for her retakes (now going on three months) I ran into the manager again and more rude than ever! I had an appointment and she was to busy photographing her one year old. When she asked why I was their I simply stated for retakes. She sighed and mentioned to her mother in Spanish "we have to stop so that I can do her retakes but come back and we will finish" in a very rude manner. I don't think she thought I would understand. Elena was in such a hurry to finish my session and was barking orders at me again. I don’t believe she was on the clock since I scheduled my appt with the same photographer who was willing to help me. Elena was more worried about herself than any of the customers that walk in for questions. I tried to just ignore her and do my daughters retakes. I had already invested $100 dollars that I was told I could not get back so I just wanted the session to be over and I will be on my way. Your manager was very rude and did not take the time to assist me she was more worried about getting the session over with so that she can continue taking photos of her daughter. Abusing your new system in photography. Taking her pictures for free I'd imagine. I had to pay an extra $12 dollars to get the photo's I wanted. She did not mention that when she was putting the package together. My experience at this studio was HORRIBLE after I pick up my photos and, hopefully she doesn't damage them as a form of retaliation, I will not come back to this location ( 710 Dennery Rd San Diego, Ca 92154 Store # 12150). Hopefully you can redirect me to another location that will assist me in capturing my daughters photos with better employees who are just as passionate as I am in capturing my daughters picture as she grows . I do not want to judge your service on one location, or on one employee who is lacking when it comes to customer service. I was very upset with the service that Elena, your store manager, had provided and felt obligated to let you know.

Today is Saturday, November 29th, 2017. Our photos were at 4:00pm. Patty was our photographer. She was absoutely FANTASTIC! She was patient and so funny and laughing right with us. We were able to have all 3 of our kids and our son in law home for Thanksgiving. We finally, after 5 yrs., had a family portrait taken. We had a ball. Patty postioned us how we needed to be. She made us all laugh! She took so much time with us to pick out our Christmas cards, the pics we wanted...and in no way, shape or form did she push us into getting things we didn't want. She sat with us and showed us what the diffrent images would look like, etc. This was by all means, the BEST time we have ever experienced with Walmart photos. We just want to make sure that Patty get reconized for the excellent job she did today! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Pierre, South Dakota

Once you get kids posed and into the shoot, it's simply foolish to disengage them and let them get rowdy again. Patience is a virtue; you were probably uninterrupted during your shoot, so give others that opportunity, also.

And from the "business" side - they already made their money off of you; they're trying to hook a new customer now.

When did 30 minutes of travel time become a "great deal of time"? Exactly? i was under the impression that 30 minutes was 30 minutes, half an hour, 1/48th of the day. That's almost like complaining about two pennies difference in a price. If something is magically two pennies more, I think I'd find something more substantial to complain about, like politics or why I became such a cheap, incomparable [censored] bag concerning the price of memories. You get what you pay for, sir, and if memories of your child are only worth 7.99, then I feel bad for your daughter.

PictureME Photography recieve my pictures 15 days after they were taken

Due to my previous experience, I will NEVER have pictures taken there again or refer a friend. I am very irate and agitated with this company and their unprofessional employees. On Feb 25Th I took my sons a 1yr and 3yr old to get spring pictures taken at a Picture Me Portrait Studio. I had a appointment schedule for 3:00 that afternoon, when I got there I was told that they couldn't take the picture because the camera was broken and they are still waiting on a piece to fix the camera. I asked why no one called to tell me that the camera was broken the young lady then replied that "she didn't know" and look in the files then pulled out my appointment form and said they had the form in the wrong slot. she then went on to say that if I could get across town to another studio that I could get me picture taken there if I hurry.

So I got my kid and put them back in the car and went to the other studio. when I got there I had to wait about 1hr to a hour in a half before the pictures were taken, by that time my kids were agitated. After the pictures were taken I paid in full and was told that the pictures would be available on march 5Th. on a Thursday So on March 5Th I waited until 4:00pm to go pick the pictures up. when I got there I was told that the pictures weren't there yet and they will call me when the come. I then asked again why didn't someone call me to tell me that the pictures weren't there and again I got a "I don't know" were sorry. I then informed them that I was going out of town and that I need those pictures to give to family. At this point I'm upset that twice I have been given the I don't know deal and I waited gas to do something at the fault of this company. So I called corporate office in regards to this matter and was told by a young lady that the pictures were in the process of being printed and will FedEx to the branch and she will then have them FedEx to me at my vacation address on Monday and that I should receive the pictures no later than the 10Th of March. So it's the 12Th and I called corporate office and was told that my pictures have just being sent out. I advise them that it has been 15 day and I wanted to cancel the order due to the unprofessional service I have been given and the length of time that it is taken to get my photos. I was advise that they couldn't cancel the order because the pictures has been sent out. I asked if I could bring the picture back for a full refund I was advise that they couldn't refund me the full refund but they could do half because the pictures were mailed to me by regular mail when it was suppose to be FedEx.

I have advised my friend and family of this matter and they will not take picture there again. will I never refer anyone and will advise everyone of my services.

uh! the "SPIN TO WIN" wheel, i worked at picture me for awhile and i felt so frustrated and guilty because my manager kept lying to her customers about the free pictures ( SO SORRY TO ALL THOSE WHO WENT TO PICTURE ME AND WERE ASKED TO SPEND $$$ BEFORE GETTING THE "FREE" PICTURE) you DID NOT have to buy anything at all but my manager kept telling us we had to, she said "What do this people think? they are going to get them for free?" As a customer myself i know we can get pictures for free, unless it says with purchase or something but if it doesnt you CAN get free pictures. so again sorry to all of you, i dint want to lie and i feel really guilty that i did, i tried doing it the right way but she kept telling me "YOU CANT DO THAT" and the district manager could care less.

i went to the one in oklahoma city i-240 and santa fe and man was it the worst, the manager (ANA GARCIA) was rude mean and she told me i had to buy something to get the free picture i won, on the wheel, i was there to buy a big package for my sons birthday but when i asked her about the free 16x20 she got angry loud and mean and said "you have to buy $30 worth to get that picture, i would have not mind this but she said it and brushed me off when i had an appt and was willing to spend. So i left, first off it does not say you have to buy anything, second i called corp and they said that i dont have to buy anything to get that free picture and third why was she so mean and rude, i asked my friend and she told me she's like that to everyone that asks about the free pic or the small package my son is six and loves pictures, so she lost me as a costumer, i went to another place, the free 16x20 is not worth dealing with that rude woman.

You know what? If the camera was broken, THE CAMERA WAS BROKEN. It's called, sometimes in life these things happen!

How in the heck is the photographer supposed to also be a camera-repairman?

Fortunately they were able to get you in at another studio without an appointment at the new studio! I'd say that' s pretty good, as I'm imagining the state you were in with your 1 and 3 year old. Which, by the way, is already a difficult sitting to start with.

And, once again, it is not the photographer's fault if the company did not ship the portraits on time. And she really doesn't know when they will be in, because nobody communicates crap to the photographers.

I'm always amazed at how customers/individuals never pick-up the phone themselves to verify an appointment or if there product has been received before attempting to drive across town only to find it's not there yet. I don't even understand how cutomers/people think there is some type of executed list providing numbers to call of those customers/people when their product has not been recieved at due time. Come on folks, with the fast pace we now live in and everyone is thinking, or doing something else, can we not make a phone call ourselves? Do you think this will be the last time something like this ever happens in our lives?...

PictureME Photography sorry # company to work for

First off, let me say that my name is Stephanie Gates and I WAS a studio manager for this piss poor company for almost 5 years and it didn't start getting pissy until a trashy ###, inbred ### name Cheryl Kerly took it over. She has got to be the FAKEST ### I have ever encountered. These ### do nothing but smile in your face and talk ### behind your back. This studio is 10009, in Sikeston, Mo. I have busted my ###, spent countless amounts of my own money for props and other ### that they won't send or provide. They want you to do the impossible- book a minimum of 10 appts. a day and shoot at least 10, then on top of that they want you to "treat this like your own business". f*** that! For a measly 12.00 bucks an hour, ### please! The ### they ask you to do-astinine! That tramp Cherly sent me an e-mail and told me that if a butt isn't on the table at 10:30, then drag one into the studio- how preposterous is that. The only thing in Wal-Mart at 10 in the morning is old people and the associates. How in the hell do you do that. Strong-arm an old ### lady and force them to take the pictures and then sell the gereatric a 199.99 collection, oh what a wonderful deal- 2 collages come with that right? If you guys didn't know, this company took over this ### without realizing that people don't come to Wal-Mart for "quality" pictures- they go elsewhere, where photography is a priority. This ### is a joke. All they want you to do is push around the old pictures and that stupid ### paperwork. Come on now, they act like this is real photography. They try to keep track of this ### down to a science, for what? These studios are to small to put your coat in let alone the ignorant ### filing system. Do they realize how many people come just for fun. They don't take this company seriously and they shouldn't. I'm gonna do EVERYTHING in my power to hurt this ### ### company, they will feel me-just wait. I know EVERY SINGLE Customer that walks in that damn door and I will let them know what kind of ### that goes on! These ### will be sorry and like I said, that studio will take a hit like they've never seen. And I hope they read this. That's why i put my name on this because I want one of them to say something and when they do, It's on and poppin' . Which I expect some replies, but will one of you ### have enough guts to put your name- full name and where you're from? I dare you!

I managed 2 studios in the same town 15 minutes from each other. I was hired in for part time Christmas help and within 6 months was really forced into being a manager, then they suddenly made me manage both studios for 50 cents per hour more. I could have no life and the district managers and I say this plural because they go through so many of them was a down right rude, mean, conniving witch. Customers hated her as did staff. I had a team of 4 regular full time girls that had been with the company for 8yrs, 4yrs, 2 yrs, n I did my time till 6.This company CPI took over from PCA and No one ever got the training needed and the DM's only worried about acting like they were something important. The expectations of this company were ridiculous. They did not care what a customer wanted they pushed us to bait customers n make them buy outrageous priced packages, usually there was 1 photographer in the studio and they were expected to do it all, drag customers in, make call list calls bugging customers to set an appointment, acquisition customers off the floor, do sessions, edit, create, n sale all in 20 minutes. Managers had to spend money out of their own pockets because we never had a lot of things we needed. I had surgery and decided not to go back. After 6 years of good service to this company I made 10.50 an hour for managing 2 studios. The Dm left n we got a new one that came in and pitted the entire district against each other, people that had worked together in the prior company and then in this new buyer. She lied, and ended up ruining the whole district. Kelly was her name and she was in the Findlay Ohio, Toledo district. I miss my customers but not the stupidity or the company. We would go to someone above her n we were ignored. There are many regular customers that had been coming to our studios for many years, 1 had been patronizing the studios for 11 years. This Dm pissed this customer off so bad she stopped coming in and apologized to all the regulars girls she had known for years. I could write a boom on how horrible this company is but I would have to list it as fiction because it is unbelievable how sickening this company is. They treat employees like slaves. You can plan nothing because you are always on Flex just in case someone else quit. I would love to see another portrait business that cares about the customers and models and value their employees come in and make the business fun again. It was the most embarrassing job I had because of the lack of care from the company for any thing other than money. I saw another past employee comment on the paper work. IT WAS RIDICULOUS! We could have put more quality time into the customer n shoot if we had not be required, bullied and threatened to do all the other worthless crap. We were threatened on a daily basis that we would be fired if our averages were not 80 to 90. I ran a constant 120 or higher n still was threatened by the DM EVERY DAY! This company did nothing to show appreciation to their long time loyal hard workers.

I worked there for four months worked at four different studios because people quit then they hire a new studio manager at my home studio and this ### tries to tell me that I got to see like 800 dollars in a day when she only scheduled me a four hr shift and she sat on her ### and did nothing. I finally quit when she dropped me to eight hrs a week when promised 30 because she said if I couldn't be available weekends cuz had to get another job cuz not enough hrs. So f*** that I quit I hope that dumb ### loses her job when they realize how f***ing dumb it is to hire someone whose never been a manager and is lazy

Yeah I worked for PCA/CPI for 2 years. Two goddamn years. If I had known what sort of company this was when I first applied, I probably would have never done it. I had no idea what I was getting into when I accepted that job.

They expect you to run a $90 average when they advertise a $5.99 package. They tell you to do one thing, then another. Alot of the corporate crap is behind the scenes stab in the back kinda ###. It's horrible. It makes the associates not want to even care about the Photography. This job is a dream killer for any photographer or artist.

So I hear ya, this corporation is full of ###. They dont care about the customer or the associate. It's all about the money. Anyways I'm glad to say after 2 years of Hell, I quit the studio. It was causing so much stress in my life that I had to leave for my own physical and mental health. Goodbye drama! I'd rather be working for $5 an hour cashiering than earning $8.75 hr dealing with the bullcrap people do at those studios.

So Tired of This

I have worked for this company for over 5 years. My studio is very high volume. I cannot begin to tell you how many times I have worked for sometimes as much as 6 hours or more, before even getting to use the bathroom, let alone a lunch break, during the holidays! We have been put on mandatory 7 days a week with 1 days notice, stating this is not open for discussion, by our RD. We sometimes shoot as many as 20 plus customers in one day (ususally 2 photographers) expecting us to shoot, edit, sale and ring them and have them out the door all in 15 minutes! IMPOSSIBLE! All the while expecting us to keep the customers "happy". Also, in this day, we are to call 20 customers from our customer call list to make appts, enter 8 ppl into studio outreach, and play spin and win, and pass out 50 flyers! I have had 12 confirmed appts but not allowed to have double coverage! Doesnt matter that these appts are booked ever 15 to 30 minutes. So unfair to the customer to be herded in and out like cattle in fear of running behind, or getting out past quitting time and being scolded for using too many hours! I cannot start to tell you how many times I have had to fill in for my DM, WITHOUT ANY EXTRA PAY! Sometimes doing computer work and other reports for my RD as late as midnight, without as much as an even "thank you". I have been told to buy balloons in the past, hellium, phones, cords, even a hulla-hoop to convert the washtub into an easter basket, all out of my pocket. Granted now the company will pay you an hours pay for washing your rugs. But what about all those years past that I was told I better have my rugs washed if I didnt want to be wrote up? Not to mention now Im forced to take those big drapes to the laundry mat, because they are to big for my machine. Takes money to wash them, and detergent, plus more than an hour of my time on my day off! I was out for emergency surgery last Easter, for 2 weeks. Meanwhile, I was switched to a different system. I run a triple digit average, but for the life of me just could not sale on this system. Also, during this time our community was hit with the historical flood. After leaving me on this system for 20 weeks, they finally switched me back to my old system. Within 3 weeks my numbers started going through the roof. My RD, came to visit me looking only at the past weeks low numbers. When aksed what was going on, I was told "Bull", "I think you just don't care about this job" "You're just lazy" Over and over, each time coming just short of calling me a liar! When I pointed out how high my numbers have came up just since changing back to my old system, her only reply was "If you are not first, you are last". This is what is on each and every one of her emails. I want so bad to reply back "Shake and Bake". She said she got the logo from her niece and wants all of us to live by this motto. She doesnt relize it is the STUPID line from Taladaga Nights, which is followed each time by "Shake and Bake."

PictureME Photography customer service

Dear Customers,

I am a Picture me Portrait studio associates. First what I want to say is that we rent from Wal-mart we are not a part of them. Second you the customers make it seem like we are so bad but the truth is that you guys don't tell our part of the story. We the associates constantly have to deal with you guys the customers talking to us harshly. You guys say that we treated you badly but the truth is that your children were probably acting badly or you wanted everything your way and sorry we will not accept that . Speak to us correctly and we will do the same. Also, everyone is constantly downing our prices but truth be told were the cheapest place to get pictures done. Go to our competeters and see if youll get the same deal with them. I bet you won't.

My husband and I took our son to wal-mart to get his pictures taken a few weeks ago. my husband had called to get the appointment and went with me to get them taken. after the session, I assisted the woman in filling out our info and paid the nearly $150 with my credit card. I stopped by later to pick up our son's pictures and was told that I couldn't. the woman had entered my husband's name into the computer and without him or his dirver's license I was unable to pick up the pictures. when I explained that I was there and my card had been used (not to mention I had both my children with me at the time) I was given a line about protecting my son and that it is corporate policy etc. I offered my driver's license to show that I have the same address etc as the account but was told it wouldn't matter unless he was there. I called my husband, who is out of town on business and explained. he said there must be some mistake, I had been the one who gave them the info. so he called and was told that every customer is told of the policy when they input the info into the system - we were not. he was told since he scheduled the appontment they had put him in as the contact. I have no problem with a policy to prevent strange people from picking up my child's pictures - my complaint is that as his mother they should have entered both my husband and I into the system or at least told us who they put in the computer as the contact and that they would have to pick up the pictures. the woman had a terrible time using the computer system that day, in fact she had to hand write part of my receipt because she couldn't get it in the system. the others in the studio didn't seem to know much more than she did about the computer. the pictures were ok but the service is not good at all. this was my first time at the wal-mart picture studio and defnintly my last - as i'm still waiting for my husband to come home from his trip so my son's pictures can be picked up.

I agree with Dawn here. Yes it is the policy of the company. Here is one reason why. There have been instances where a husband took pictures of his son. The son tells the mother-exwife about it. She goes up there and picts them up and keeps the pictures where as it was the husband that took the photos in the first place he did not get any photos of his son and has complained about the employees giving his pictures out to his ex wife.

I myself have had an issue with someone during the 2006 christmas season. We had an issue with the lab sending out a whole roll of pictures. They had them done just not sent out. We called them several times to get them to be sent out and at one point they called us and said they were shipping them out and we would get them the next morning. Low and behold they were not there. We got out district manager to call though and get them sent out. They finally came the day after out DM called to get them sent out. As it was we had folks waiting on those pictures. Those that bought the composite (30$ value) got a discount on thier portraits those that did not buy the composites got them for the wait. Those that wanted refunds got them.

One customer had bought some pictures for christmas on that roll. Another lady (she claimed to be the first lady's cousin) who did not have a reciept and her driver's license did not match the information in the system came up to get the refund that went with those pictures. I informed her that I could not give the refund to her but that the person who's name was on the computer could come up there and pick up the photos and get her refund. The lady then said that the person i am talking about just had her baby and wasn't coming up that night in the rain. I said thats fine she can come up when she is ready to come up it did not have to be that night. The lady then said she had premission to pick them up. She was on the phone to her so called cousin, but would not let me talk to her so i had no idea who she was really talking to. I still informed her i would not be giving the refund to her. She startd to throw a fit (i was with a customer at the sales desk.) demanding that i give her a refund and for the customer service number. I showed her the number on the big poster over the counter for all to see. She called it and was informed by customer service of the same policy. She then threw a fit asking to see the manager even though my name tag said studio manager on it. Of course it was not for the studio i was in. I was Studio Manager of Cedar Hill not Grand Prairie. But i was the only one in that studio at the time and for all purposes a Manager. She wanted to speak not to the studio manager but the Walmart manager. She went down still throwing her fits to the Store's Customer Service center and thier Night Manager came down and discussed it with me and asked how much the refund was going to be. I informed her of the amount but it would be given to the owner of the pictures as per company policy. Instead the store gave the lady that amount out of thier store to get her to go away. All they had to do was get security to make her leave the store. I myself was about to call the police to have her removed. For all I know the owner of the pictures did not get that money from her so called cousin. She did though get her pictures a week later and her refund from us seeing as she was the one in the system and she had the reciept.

These are reasons why the policy is in place. It is to protect the person in the system not just your children.

I was given a week training and then if I ever had any questions, I've always had somebody to ask. I have always been a quick learner, so it turns out, I ended up answering questions from a lady that was there longer than me. I guess I just work in a great district. We all help each other out if we need it!
Yes, that is our policy. Whoever is picking up the pictures needs to (a)have the reciept or (b)show ID showing they are the person that the pictures are under or (c) be able to give us a number(preferably to match the # we have) to speak with the person whoms name the pictures are under to verify who's in the picture, what they're wearing(about) and a near date of when they were in.
There is no option for putting in 2 people in the computer, unless you put both first names in the "first name" box. But you would have to specify that. Its not something we just automatically do.
The computer that we ring orders up on... PAIN IN THE ###! It is probably the hardest thing about the job! Its always coming up with error messages, if you go past one screen you can't go back to the previous, its just a pain.

Most of the associates they hire are barely given a weeks worth of training. And those computers are a pain in the ### to learn to use if your not computer smart. Technical problems happen alot. And as far as the policy goes, it is policy but I'm surprised they didn't offer to speak to your husband over the phone. Normally a verbal agreement over the phone can be reached and pictures can then be picked up by said spouse. It shouldn't be that big of a deal.
