We're pretty sure that if Walmart showed up wayyyy more often on ComplaintsBoard and paid more attention to reviews and complaints, it would lead to better results. But for now, the resolution rate doesn't show successful interaction with customers. We advise reviewers to be careful when communicating with Walmart and be ready for the chance your problem might not get a response. It's also good to start looking for other solutions if your issues aren't fixed as you want.

Walmart falsely advertise price match guarantee

This evening I went into our local Wal-Mart (Wilmington ohio) with a Target ad. Target had some movies on sale that I wanted to purchase as Christmas presents for my family. I got the movies took them to the checkout with the Target add. The front end lady called the manager to ask if it was alright. She came back with I have good news and bad news. Im allowed to price match for those movies but I'm not allowed to price match the Target add because it's over 30 miles away. Well the nearest Target is 25.8 miles from our Wal-Mart. So of course I asked to speak with the manager. I have had them price match a Target ad more than once. At first the manager said there isn't a Target within 30 miles. Once I had my husband mapquest the nearest Target he then changed the story to "we dont and wont price match Target"... then he changed his story again and said well if u want to come back tomorrow and ask the electronics department manager you can. I asked him how is that possible when the Target add is over tonight at 11pm. "Not my problem" I called the Wal-Mart customer service hotline. They were no help and gave me the district manager's name and a phone number. I have had nothing but problems at this Wal-Mart. I was assulted by a Wa;-Mart employee 4 years ago and it took me a long time to go back. Just when I feel more comfortable going back to this store the rudeness still remains. I asked 4 different employee's what the manager's last name was and nobody could tell me. They only knew him by his first name. Not one person including the manager could tell me the policy either. It has been advertised on television time and time again. This is false advertising. I asked the manager who they do a price match with and he said only the ones in this town. That just happens to be a grocery store. This is unreal. I could understand it if the store I wanted them to price match was 50 miles away but it was 25 miles away. Less then a half hour. Also when I told them I was going to contact the local news paper and television stations they didn't care. However you look at this its false advertising.
When a store advertises something they should have to stick to their end of the deal. And it's a training issue when not 1 employee including the manager can tell you what the policy is. And a huge training issue when not 1 employee knows the manager's name.

I was able to used ad match stores within 50 miles, than a week ago new manager in San Jacinto ca said I can only match in my city. This is wrong. Why do they make up own rules and change policy without notice. I price match because I did not want to drove far, I guess I do not need to go to Walmart to aid match since they will not aid match in other cities

Most Walmart's will only price match for stores in the same town. People used to come to my line with Cub Foods ads and I had to tell them no. There isn't one in Winona, only in La Crosse and Rochester, both of which are over 30 miles away. It's not false advertising, if you take time to look closely at their policy, I'm sure it says something along the lines of "local retailers".

True, price matching can be difficult since the price varies for region to region. That maybe causing the Target to sell for a lot less than Walmart. But i suggest you should have tried a Walmart that is closest to that Target you are specifying to get your price match.

But i do not like when employees and managers try to lie to me and make stupid reasons and keep changing answers.
But it is Walmart's fault for not advertising the radius issue for price matching. These days businesses are trying only to make quick cash and get attention through false advertising.

Lets c if soon we have a law to protect consumers from false advertising.

So sorry that you did not get your way. I also price match with Walmart and have no problem.
However, their policy is if the store in question is within a five mile radius of their store (so I have found in other blogs). That is when they will price match. Even 25.8 miles is a stretch to ask for in my opinion. I can't blame you for trying though.

Walmart walmart site to store program

We Ordered a TV Stand from Walmart and chose the site to store option. We went to pick it up when we recieved notification that the item has arrived at the store.

The staff brought out one box and said that was it. However, when we were got home, we realized there was a sticker on the box that revealed the TV stand came in 2 boxes instead of one.

So we returned to the store to hopefully get second box. Apparently, the second box was not shipped and was told it was our fault even though we pre paid for the item prior to picking the first box up.

Walmart store manager and staff were not help and were not to sharp to deal with the situation

Definitely, will steer away from Walmart in the future. Its worth it to pay a few bucks extra for customer service.

Walmart not arthorized billing

Monday, I called walmartmoneycard, after viewing my account and I had found an item that I didn't purchased, I told Walmartmoneycard person that my account needs to have a flag on it the only item that should be on it is Netflix and the services charges, if anything else shows up then they should decline it. I had called the one company and was credited the money back into my account. Today, Thanksgiving I checked my account again, and here is another $44.92 deducted that I didn't purchase on this date. I called again and spoke to a Representative of walmartmoneycard and she said she couldn't put a flag on it. So buyer beware, if your account is compromised don't call them they won't do anything about it, do call and cancel your account. My bank said, that they don't charge for a debt card and they will check my buying behavior and if something comes up like this it will be put on pending until I am called.

Walmart tire and lube

I dont remember the date probably 4 or 5 yrs ago(just found this site) but my ex and I had bought brand new tires all around for our car this was on a Friday the next day my ex took a friend of ours to a funeral for his grandfather on they way to the church they ran over something in the road(road hazard) the tire went flat right in front of the church. the next day I took the flat tire back to the wal mart where purchased to get a new one cause the tires where supposedly under warranty for 50, 000 miles and didn't even have 100 on them yet.Needless to say I left wal mart with no new tire they at first told me that the tire had been run on while flat was totally destroyed and thus voided any warranty(not true tire went flat while parked) the when asked to speak with a manger about this was told it wouldn't do any good store managers have no control over their tire and lube department that they are an outside business that is just leased onto wal mart for that service. then when I asked to see th tire first they tried to show my some other tire that was on a stock auto rim my car has specialty rims when I pointed this out then their story changed to they weren't going to honor the warranty because we didn't have an alignment done at the time of purchase(the car didn't need one it was only 6 mo old)since then I have never bought another thing of an automotive nature from wal mart and suggest no one else does either they are a seconds distributor meaning the buy up stuff that more reliable stores refuse and sell them at new unflawed product prices . The only thing in their store you can trust is their food and even that's is way over priced. If I could I would boycott Wal mart fully but they are the only market in 20 miles of me they have run every one else out of business over the years

The 50, 000 mile warranty had nothing to do with it. If you bought the road hazarded it would have been warranted for life . Even if you drove it flat. And why did you buy new tires if the car was only six mouths old?

Walmart electric blanket

Sunbeam electric blankets are trash. I bought 2 last year for my wife and i. I took excellent care of them, washed them properly, etc. When I turn them to high you can barely feel the heat. People spending their hard earned money need to revolt against companies that just want to sell quanity and not quality. Sunbeam is a classic example of this. And being made in china is sure not the answer to this problem. Revolt american people, stop buying this junk!

I asked a Walmart clerk about the above Sunbeam Electric Blankets and was told that most of the bankets sold were returned. Walmart, however, imposed the policy, NOT TO TAKE BACK THE BLANKET IF THEY HAD BEEN WASHED, which most of the blankets returned have been washed. This pretty much put a stop to walmarts' being responsible for taking the crappie product back. I have learned a lot about Walmart in the past years and as a result of what I now know, I have stopped shopping there. I, instead, shop the good ole mom and pop shops here in the states. They actually have MADE IN THE USA products. Check out the internet for made in the usa shopps.

I too had a problem with Sunbeam electric blankets. The first one we bought was returned because it would not heat and we thought it must be just another factory fault. The replacement, however, had the same problem. we were told at wlmart that this was normal for this blanket and they just don't get any warmer . I would recommend that Sunbeam take these cheaply made blankets off the market and stop dumping them on the poor public that simply are getting use to the fact that it's just the way things are in todays world and not the way it was when we had good old MADE IN THE USA products.

Walmart no longer carrying calorie countdown

I am allergic to milk and soy products, extremely. I am also diabetic. Calorie countdown dairy product was wonderful. I could drink something that tasted exactly like milk cook with it and not worry about the calories or the effect on my body. Then all of a sudden you remove it from the shelves. Shame on you. I have several family members who are diabetic and they drank and used this product. It is manufactured by the hood company. I live in dry ridge, ky and no one around carries this. I have to go to only one florence kroger store to purchase this. They charge almost double what walmart charged. I spoke to them about the price and they were unwilling to meet the price of walmart. I live on disability and every penny counts. You know how expensive it is anyway to purchase groceries how would you like to pay $5.00 for a half gallon of milk. I don't think you would. Please for all of us out there who loved this product please bring it back. According to the hood company you carry it, however it is not in your dairy cases. Help us. Please, please bring it back. Thank you. Teresa reynolds

Hi,
I got the following recipe from a Low Carb message board. It's simple and relatively inexpensive. Do a search for "homemade low carb milk", there are probably more than just this one. Another alternative is Blue Diamond unsweetened almond milk It's really good, but you may have to order online. It does have a slight almond flavor, but it is not that big of a deal.

Good Luck
-Amy

Homemade Low Carb Milk
CarolynF
One cup:

1-2 Tbs. of heavy cream (depending on how creamy you want it)
1 1/3 Tbs. of instant dry milk
1 cup of cold water
sprinkle of salt
tiny sprinkle of splenda (if you want)

Just put the ingredients in and shake it up. Refrigerate.

Calories 65 if 1 Tbs. of cream is used, 110 if 2 Tbs. of cream is used
5 grams of fat / 10 grams of fat
3 carbs / 3 carbs
2 grams of protein / 2 grams of protein

Of course, you can double/triple, etc. the recipe. But it's pretty cheap to make.

honey sometimes if a company is not making enough money from a product they take it off the shelves, they are there to make money not lose it because only 1 person and their family members use a certain product its all about supply and demand if you and your family are the only ones buying it the demand isn't all that high enough for them to keep stocking it when they can replace it with something that will sell better and as for kroger they are a smaller company but they are union and its because of those 2 things that they for whatever reason have to charge just a little more money for things also if you have a kroger plus card a whole lot of things won't cost as much.

Walmart little mommie cuttle and coo

I am offened that Walmart would continue to stock the doll "Little Mommie cuttle and coo" made by Fisher Price, that is being sold to countless numbers of little children. In this doll's recorded message is the words "Islam is the Light". Children in this age group should not be indoctrinated and influenced in this way. I am asking that Walmart take a stand and remove this doll from it's stores.

No but people still read their children Bible stories and take them to Temple don't they? Stop reading into all the News hype you hear on the internet, people will try to make something out of nothing. If no one told you that the doll "sounded" like it was saying "Islam is the Light", you never would have noticed it would you? No.

But you can easily "indoctrinate and influence" your own children to whatever religious organization you may affiliate yourself with, cant you? I bet you can.

Would this doll have even made the News if it was sounding "Jesus is the Light"?
It probably would have gotten more sales.

Walmart credit card overdue fee

The only way to pay Walmart on-line is to submit the payment through My Check Free. However, when you select Walmart and request that My Check Free make a payment on a date pre-defined by I assume the Walmart Company, you get a late fee assigned to your account. This has happened at least 2 months in a row. When I questioned My Check Free about it, they have been in contact with Walmart officials regarding the problem and the late charges have been reversed. What I found out from My
Check Freewith the last late fee that was placed on my account is that Walmart places late fees on the day that it is due. I researched this on the Walmart web site and found out that payments paid after 5 pm on the due date will incure additional late fees. If this payment that I have set up several days in advance, that requests My Check Free to release the payment on the due date that Walmart has assigned, it should be received by Walmart prior to 5 pm. Is this some type of money making scam and has anyone else had the same problem?

I have had the same problem with Walmart. I am on SSI disability and receive money on the 3 of the month and I pay all my bill electronically through my bank on that date. I opened an account with Walmart and my billing cycle was the 27th of the month. I paid my bill on the 3rd and was charged a $25.00 late fee. I called to complain and they refunded the late fee and the customer service rep assured me that the billing cycle would now be on the 6th of the month. I was told that it would take two months for this to be activated so I paid another minimum payment to insure that no more late fees would be added. This month I paid my bill and the electronic payment was received by Walmart on the 4th and I was charged another late fee because my new billing date was actually changed to the 3rd and not the 6th as was promised. Walmart are cheats and liars when it comes to their billing. They know how to screw you and they enjoy doing it. I am sick of Walmart and their billing shenanigans. They know what they are doing and they do it very well. Be ware of them when you get one of their cards. Just use your MasterCard. That is what I do now. I really now despise Walmart. I will never shop there again.

It is a scam. Walmart now has the capability to accept direct payments. I was not informed of this until I sent a letter and now spent my entire lunch hour on the phone arguing with Acct Mgr "Michael". According to him, when reading my MyCheckFree monthly statement I should have known to pay my bill at www.walmart.com/credit, although it does not state this.

Better Business Bureau will be my next point of contact.

I imagine most people will just pay the $15.00 fee and let Walmart get away with it. Easier to let it go than fight.

I don't ask for much just would like the pharmacy to smile and be polite. I went in for a refill on migraine meds and the associate acted like I was there to pick up some illegal drugs or something. After realizing I had to get it renewed through the doctor I went back a few days later and the same lady looked at me and said "DENIED" I said are you sure I just went to the doctor and they were going to call it in. As she pounded on her keyboard 3 times she looked at me and said NOPE.
I mean really, if you hate your job that much it's time to move on. Needless to say i'm switching pharmacies.

Why does everyone feel that the moment they walk into Walmart, every Associate should be there to be waiting on them hand and foot! Electronics is a specialty department. The knowledge we have to learn is overwhelming. Then customers expect us to know EVERYTHING about EVERY product, then get upset when we don't. This is Walmart, folks. Not the Waldorf! And when a customer calls, they want us to be their personal shoppers and give them the price. Then they ask you to go look at some thing else. I've had several calls where a customer wants to know every tv we carry and the prices. We had a customer the other day who didn't want to bend over to look at a prepaid phone! We aslo hate the people who just wander in, unload their full shopping carts on the counter and then just stand there waiting for one of us (who IS with a customer) to come over and ring them up. Then they say something stupid, like "Is this register open?"! People think the Associates are uneducated? What about the customers? Every day I am truly amzed that over 50% of the customers are even capable and competent to take care of themselves in society. Then they have the gall to say we are rude. Try explaining a product to some one who has obviously been drinking (and probably drove to the store) and you are trying not to gag from the alcohol breath and at the same time be "pleasant". I see probably over 1000 people a day up close and personal. Imagine the odds of how many of those people are rude to us! Stop complaing and get over it! Oops, sorry to go on, but reading these things makes me wonder how anyone would even want to be in retail. It would be nice if some positive feedback could occur for positive shopping experiences.

The store in Shawnee is so nasty, we don't want to shop there, I could not believe the floors and the nasty shape the store is in, It looks like no one takes pride in the store, We have never been in a store that looks like that before, someone needs to take control and clean up that mess, where is the management there, Sleeping? If the store continues to be that way we will shop elsewhere, and I'm sure others will agree with us that the store needs cleaned up.

Most mornings, I would get hot food before 9am. Now, the lady moved to a different area, food is not even started until after 9am. This really sucks. Oh ya, one day I had to ask Kenny to change his gloves. He went from dirty sink to serving food. GROSS

Chris Nelson, who is not only two-face, deceitful, and conniving pathetic store manager but also who doesn't provide sales for the losing store. He is the reason almost all except few lower managers lost their jobs beacuse of his wonderful leadership skills.
Upper Wal-Mart mgt must love him so much that he is keep get out of things. Or maybe he is blowing some trashy supervisors so bad. If he provide something for the store then I would say good job but he is such a pathetic professional liar...I pray that someone looks into his deceiving work...

I'm not sure what Lee is smoking. More times then I care to recall I have been appauled by the filth of the Shawnee Wal Mart. The employees are rude and very unhelpful. It doesn't matter if you complain or not...nothing happens. There is a man that works in the paint section that I have complained about twice. I've been told by others that many complaints have been given on the same fellow and he is still there. It is obvious the management of this particular store could care less.

The main thing that I notice about all stores whether a Wal-Mart or another superstore is the bathrooms.
These stores will use their employees to clean their bathrooms when these same people don't clean their
own bathrooms at home.

This is mistake @1. The stores make more than enough money to hire professional cleaners and should do so.

what are you smoking? that's not true at all. that statement is 100 percent false. the store is corporate, meaning all of them do pretty much the same thing. their floors are not dirty, the store is not nasty. every store does the exact same thing... you should get your story straight and quit making up lies that make you look ignorant.

Walmart manager's ban together against me, did not report my work injury!!!

Manager's - mike, john, juan, the entire management team at store 2688, these men have me at lost for word's. I was a new employee that was alway's giving wal-mart 110%, not unlike, other employees who are stealing, making false time adjustments for wages they never worked, clocking out, leaving the job for long periods of time, re-appearing back to work as if they were there the entire time. I was constantly told I was doing a great job. Was moved to the grocery dept, told I was going to get a wage increase, it never came. I continued to give my all. I was very dedicated. A mother to three children I was given custody of 6years ago by child protective court, both of my children are chronically ill, I needed this job, my family just moved to tyler, after seeking employment from various companies, wal-mart hired me first. While working during the hurricane ike storm, my work load was unusually heavy. I was sent on one of the most demanding isle of the store, the cereal isle, with no help, yet I was able to complete my assignment by cutting my break/lunch. I noticed two men were assigned a isle that only required one person. I injured myself at work, manager's asked if I could work the next two day's off, which were my off days, after working a week straight. I said yes, without hesitation. I called in that morning explained to manager I was not able to come in, due to the injury of my back/neck. Okay, take it easy sandra was stated. After two emergency hospital visit's it was found that I had swelling in my back/neck causing severe pain to the left side of my head. My emergency room excuse for work was given to the over-night manager (Mike) mike also, did not report the injury, nor did he file my work-injury paper's into my employee file. The paper's were never found/other manager's claim there's no mike as manager. I filed my worker's comp. I needed medical attention/required to be off longer for rehabilitation. While waiting for wal-mart insurance carrier to furnish claim number to doctor, I was informed that wal-mart managers knew nothing of my injury. I was fired /without notice. The managers called me, to come in and fill out workers comp claim papers, only to have me fill out the papers, have juan carlos, one of the managers take the information from me, go into another room with other managers to discuss the plan of how they are going to tell me, I didn't hurt myself, make a date, to tell me I was fired, therefore, I don't have a claim. I need medical treatment desperately, doctor's in tyler refuse to see me again because they want the carrier claim number, wal-mart is still refusing to send in the claim, even after I came in to fill out the claim forms. Let me guess, those claim forms dont exist either? My imaginary friend filled out those paper's also? Wal-mart, what a joke! Wal-mart alway's helping in the community, what about the employees? Under paid, over-worked. I have witnessed a lot of wrong doing at this location. Managers in the office listening to music, conversating about personal business, bad-mouthing employees. Managers not answering phones/walkie talkies/not assisting customers. On various occasions, I was on the floor/customer ask for large quanities of an item/after seeking manager, manager did not attempt to look for item, costing wal-mart inc. To lose over $1, ooo for this particular exchange. Told me to tell customer we were out of the item, when in fact we had it in stock. I apologized to the customer and sent him to targets for the exact item he was requesting. I was not going to tell a lie. Another customer asked me to see if a baby crib was in stock, I ask the manager/again this manager didn't attempt to look. Customer asked to talk to manager, manager was not in office anymore/manager was paged. Do you think that manager ever came after several pages? Think again! No! What kind of skill's do these rude managers have to have for their position? Wal-mart suppose to have an open-door policy, yeah! Right! All you have to do is, pay a visit to the smoking section outside for employees, you will hear managers talking about other managers, employees personal business. Cursing, etc. Wal-mart is in desperate need of mystery shoppers at this location. I could go on-and-on, but hopefully wal-mart inc. Would do the right thing and send me some medical help. I can't afford to be ill, my plate is full with the children. I do not have anymore medicine to help me until wal-mart send my claim to the insurance carrier. The thing that I don't understand, the insurance carrier for wal-mart is willing to furnish the claim, only if wal-mart could send it in to them... Signed, I hope the next company appreciate a good employee... Sandra sanders, tyler, texas if anyone would know of any kind of assistance for me, medical, legal, please send to. Walmart utterly appaling service - hazard to take your picture here

My experience with Walmart Pictureme studios has been the most appaling service I have ever received from any business ever.

Here is my horror story about Picture me studios.

I made an appointment using the online system for picture me studios at http://www.pictureme.com for last Sunday 6pm appointment at the Fremont, CA Walmart located on 44009 Osgood Road. On Sunday at about 4 pm I got a call from Picturemestudios in Fremont Walmart saying that they do not I said okay and rescheduled for the next saturday (today) at 6pm

I showed up promptly at 6pm today studio with my 7 month old son in hand and my daughter to take our annual Christmas photo.

I saw this woman who was talking on the phone, and at the same time chewing and staring at the computer screen. I gently told her, "Hi I have an appointment".. Now without looking away from the screen or even without any eye contact, she says "I do not see an appointment" now.

I then proceeded told her my story - saying that this was a re-scheduled appointment from a week back. Her response was - "I dont have an appointment, I dont have an appointment" in an extremely rude tone. I was getting a bit concerned. I expected a bit more courtesy if they had messed up the appointment. I didn't see any word of apology or remorse. On the contrary, the woman got even more belligerent - saying "You can't just walk in.."

At this point. I asked her her name - to which she responded "I dont have to give you my name". Like other walmart employees I was expecting her to have a name tag - which she didn't have.

Then I asked her "Could I please speak to a manager". Upon which her response was "I don't have a manager", then I said is there a "supervisor at walmart", to which her response was - "I am not part of walmart, I dont care you can go talk to anyone you like".

I then stepped outside and asked for a walmart supervisor - I found this woman who was very courteous and said that "Picture me is not part of Walmart" and you would have to call them directly.

I decided then and there to walk out of there and never again to take a photo at walmart - nor even visit that store. It is unbelievable that Walmart can rent out space to a horrendous company like this. Extremely POOR SERVICE with no accountability. I wonder how this comapny can be in business.
After I came back, I searched on the internet.. and lo and behold I was not the only one. Several people have complained about this company and don't think it has any effect on them.

NEVER USE THE PICTUREME STUDIOS IN WALMART FREMONT. This is the worst service I have received from anyone, I repeat anyone. Shame on Walmart for associating themselves with such a company. I don't think I will shop at this walmart again.. it has left a really bad taste in my mouth.

I am going to followup this letter with a snail mail letter to Walmart and Pictureme. They should atleast hire staff with some courtesy.

I feel we were completetly ripped off by Picture Me portrait studio.
We were presented with the packages that ranged from 327 to 109.
The individual sheets were qouted at 20-30 a piece. The picture CD was qouted at $250. Thinking that we ordered one of the cheaper packages, we left spending $150, and a sick feeling in the pit of our stomaches. When I got home, I looked online and saw that you could order individual sheets for 9.99. I am going back tomorrow and demanding a complete refund. The reciept also has a $10 portrait smiles club charge tacked on, which we never agreed to pay. It also shows that we took home something for 29.99, and we never took anything home. Never, ever go to this studio.

Walmart vision center has a only 60 days warrenty for a frame

My eyeglasses frame made by titanum was broken at Sep 2008 while I cleaned lenses, which was bought from Walmart in Jan 2008. I asked them to replace it and they said that the frame warrenty had only 60 days. I complanied it to them to make no sense because the previous frame I had had kept more than 3 years. If anyone knows the only 60 days warrenty of a frame who buys it at Walmart? Even worse they suspected me to buy it there while they found my information from their system, i..e. they found my info but they said that they didn't have my purchase record. I had bought it only once at Walmart. I doubt that the frame may had a fault from the beginning because people know Titanum is very flexible as well as very strong I complained them to mention the such a short warrenty policy before I bought it and they said you didn'r ask it. What on earth is it? Is it Walmart customer care? It's not acceptable nor has common sense. I'll have further action to correct it. Also eyeglass is very important to protect eyes. Malmart warrenty policy and attitude to customer should be changed.

I feel for u. My Walmart frames lasted a mere 3 months when i broke them against a metal structure sticking out of a building under construction. They just went pop and were in pieces and mine too were the best they offered. Walmart's optometry is independent from the Walmart Store. I don't recommend them. Their prices are highest in the nation with the smallest selection. A co-worker bought her glasses at Walmart and soon they were scratched like a ski slope. I recommend the eyeglasses at BJ's.

Walmart making extra pictures without permission

When I went to pick up the pictures of my daughter from the studio, they showed me an extra 4 sheets. They gave me the options of purchasing them for an extra $20.oo. I asked them what happened to the pictures if I didn't purchase them and they told me that they send them back to the company where they destroy them. I then asked if they could promise me that they would be destroyed. She joking laughed and said I would like to think that you could trust people. Well, personally I do NOT just trust other people that I don't know whom have pictures of my 9 month old daughter dressed up as Tinker Bell. Absolutely NOT! When I called the company to complain, all she could do was apoligize over and over. She then said that they have been making extra copies for a few years and apoligized again. Then asked me if I would ever go there again. I instantly replied no I wouldn't and she asked if there was anything else that she could help me with then. I find all this to be extremely rude and unanswered. I have never heard of a company making extra pictures WITHOUT my permission of MY child. I hope that no one ever go there to get pictures done, you never know where your childrens pictures may end up with them.

yeah they do make extras. It's a sales thing. Also they sometimes audit the photography skills of the photographer to make sure they're doing they're job correctly. They get destroyed later on. Don't worry -nobody- wants pictures of your kids. They wont end up in the wrong hands.

I understand how you feel however, when you have portraits made at PictureMe or any other professional studio, the studio or freelance photographer OWNS those photos therefore they do not have to have the permission of the customer to print extras, use them for promotion, place them in a portfolio, etc. The extra prints are printed to try to encourage you to purchase more. If you do not purchase them they are destroyed. Our studios are required to hold them for up to 60 days fot auditing purposes and they must stay locked away for safe keeping. Hope this helps. :)

yes, all professional portrait companies produce extras- even companies that develop your film do this-- for sales! if you want to own your copywritten photos, take them yourself and have developed. but, that developer may still make copies and offer enlargements to you at some extra cost or deal of the day!

This company and all other companies make extra copies at all times. Any time you go into ANY professional portrait studio they own the copyright. You can not even make a copy with out the copy right or you could face a 10, 000.00 dollar fine and jail time.

So next time you decided to buy professional portraits at any location remember you do not own them, you only bought copies of what the company now owens, a picute of your child.

The extras that they print are an attempt at impulse sales. If you don't purchase them, they are shredded and thrown away at store level, not sent back to the company.

Obviously you had a new person who was told the standard line.

Walmart customer service is non-existant

I bought a Walmart Visa money card for my grandson who was going away to college. I put $500 on the card to start. When I check the balance on the card 45 days later, it is $3.55. On the web site, I printed the transactions to see how and where my grandson used his money. No problem there. The problem was a difference between the initial amount on the card ($500) and the total showing spent on the transaction sheet. That total was $308.41. A difference of $191.59. I called Customer support for help and not only received no help but was charged $2.00 for asking for help. This is so typical of any company these days. There is sell, sell, sell to get the customer's money. But if there is a problem later on down the line, forget the consumer. I'm fed up with this crap.

As if there weren't enough fraud in this world being perpetrated by identity thieves, lender GEMB has decided to pull off a little consumer fraud of its own. Why not? They got bail-out funds. They posted an enormous profit for 1st quarter 2011. So by all means let's stick it to small business people who are struggling in this economy.

It is straight up fraud. The C'customer service: is NOT in the US and when you request a transfer to a rep in the US it is refused and you are sent back into the queue in wherever they are. In my case, I pestered them to get me a supervisor who credited me back my refund in full after they said they would do it, and didn't. Then it was to be in 2 parts, half then half. I got it credited to the account in full after several calls. Then used it ALL and FAST. I will only be out the $24 remaining balance we had when we returned home. That was how fast they tried to take my money back, but I was prepared and got to MY MONEY befoe they could. Now they took it back and show a negative balance on my card online. I can't see ALL TRANSACTIONS and print them out but since I followed them closely while on vacation, I am 100% satisfied that I did the right thing by getting my credited refund OUT OF THAT ACCOUNT FASTER THAN THEY COULD TAKE IT AGAIN! You can get debit Visa and Mastercards at REPUTABLE and FDIC insured banks ANYWHERE. I will go back to that now that I have experienced the nightmare that is the Walmart moneycard.

In 2006 I used the Greendot prepaid money cards. There was never a problem. But now the Walmart Corp. has taken over this fine business and is abusing it unmercifully. I got two charges on my card from 1800flowers. This company, who I would strongly caution against using, screwed up the data entry on the order so I cancelled the order. The result of cancelling the order was that I wound up with not one but two charges for 113.99 on my card. 1800flowers was nice about it and we got on a 3-way with walmartmoneycard. During this conversation, I heard my card balance read aloud by a mechanical recording. But despite that breach of security, the matter was supposed to be settled. But my money did not reappear. I called walmartmoneycard again. They told me they needed an authorizing fax from 1800flowers. I'm unsure how seeing to it that they received this fax was MY job but I did the work, and they received the fax. Still, the money was not returned to my card. I was told it takes 2 business days. Being that this is simply a matter of data entry, I'm unsure why it would take so long. So I waited. No money. I called walmartmoney card again. They affirmed that the fax had been received and that ONE of the $113.99 charges would be returned to my card by 10pm. The other charge they said would be returned the following day. Well, neither of the charges have been returned. It is very difficult to know for certain what is going on with Walmart. I have no choice but to continue to try and get my money reposted to my card. If successful, I will simply go to an ATM, remove my money, and that will be the end of any further business with the Walmart Corporation. Their support team 'appears' to be helpful but they produce no results and they lie without apparent remorse. So my advice to customers would be to remove your money from this card the very first chance you get, eat the small loss you may suffer, and find some other place besides Walmart to spend your money.

Walmart awful experience

Today I went to Walmart to get my baby enfamil. I get coupons in the mail for $5.00 off each can that I purchase. Today I was told that I can only use one coupon per day. I have used up to four coupons at one time for four cans of milk. The supervisor today also made me pay my purchase separate from everything else I bought. I also had coupons for $1.00 off powerade and she didn't let me use any of those coupons either. She said I can only make one purchase of one per day. That is not what the coupon said. Do the supervisors at Walmart know there own policies or do they make them up as they wish? I HATE WALMART!

We purchased a Durabrand Dual Screen Portable DVD player Model: PDV-722. The unit has been working but the internal battery quit charging and it will not stay on or run with the unit plugged into a wall outlet or the cigarette lighter in the vehicles. The unit is not suppose to require a battery to run and is suppose to run thru the AC/DC adapters. We cannot find a replacement battery and WalMart is no longer supporting the product, however, WalMart has them in their stores and is selling them.

I totally agree with you on the the supervisor making up new coupon policies. It seems like every time I go into Wal-Mart they have some new coupon policy. I had printed out 2 coupons for $1 off the Lunchables with water. They cashier told me they could only accept 1 coupon even though I was buying two. She stated they can't accept two of the same coupons. The new policy now is, "if it won't scan they can't accept it. The problems mainly with the internet coupons, cause Walmart thinks you sitting at home making counterfeit coupons. Kroger has no problem taking the internet, non-scannable coupons.

You think that Wal-Mart should give you $300 just because a game that your daughter wanted was out of stock (besides Bratz dolls are dressed like [censored]s and have too much make-up on what an example to set for your daughter). There is a limit on certain coupons. It should clearly state how many you can use at a time.

Walmart excessive service charges

I bought a Walmart prepaid Visa debit card for my daughter for $100 with a service charge of $8.94 attached to it on sept. 27, 2008. I called the service line to activate the card on the same day and arranged to have the card mailed directly to my my daughter. She had not received the card up to October 8, so I called to find out what was happening. they told me the card had been mailed on Sept. 29, but she would not receive it until Oct. 14, because the post offices would be closed on Monday. I find this hard to believe because I use the mail service all the time and it does not take that long for letters to be delivered. I do not believe they mailed the card out yet they charged me $2.00 to remind them to mail out the card. They also deducted $4.94 for monthly service charge and my child has still not received the card. So I am already out $15.88, while Walmart has been sitting on my $100 for nearly 3 weeks without providing a service. Given the other service charges that apply, this product is not worth it, even if you need something to teach your child how to use it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THAT ANYONE BUY THIS PRODUCT IT IS NOT WORTH IT

b1nary whoever I certainly agree with anyone and everyone who says the Walmart card is a scam, they are so if you got one and you love it then great for you BUT don't go saying everyone else is lying because we are not. I have never bought one of these before as i have credit cards as well as Debit cards with both my banks BUT i decided to get my 17 year old daughter one of these and it has been two weeks still no permanant card in the mail. So i called them and since she is a minor i thought i would talk to them but they said they will speak with her. So after asking her questions they then told her to use her change still on the card then she will just have to buy another card. Then they hung up. When she told me this i'm like what the heck? I bought this and they said just buy another without any explanation at all. I have tried calling them back and cannot get through, their phone system sucks. So that is our first time awful experience.Thank You very much oh and the reason i called them besides the card not coming yet was also because when we went to load 100 on the card earlier today it would not allow us to load on it.--First and LAST time for us.

OK, Let me get to my complaint first...I have had this card for almost a year and while it is pretty convenient, easy to load, cash checks, convenient to use...It is also very frustrating, at times. I have had multiple instances of being charged for something that I didn't authorize or had pending authorizations on my card that shouldn't be there. When I call the vendor, they release the funds or credit my back the charge; but for some reason, Walmart representative claims that it will take 10 to 21 days to release those funds for my use. As an unemployed, low income citizen this is extremely inconvenient to me. And yes, it makes me angry. I use this card to pay bills and to have even a little amount unavailable to me, well it's hurtful. I am considering taking legal action...and I suggest that those of you who have had trouble with the card do the same. No credit card company should get away with this. Vendors and creditors alike need to be accountable for their actions. After all, we, the consumer, are.
okay, I understand how "b1naryatr0phy" gets her opinion, but i have to agree with both other posters. They are not liars or an idiot...you need to understand that there are different type of cards at Walmart to purchase and that the fees are different on each card, which are not always well stated and the cashiers don't inform you of those charges. Also, when calling in to speak to a CSR, they did charge for talking to a representative. Hidden fees occur all the time. And we aren't always aware of them till and unless someone points them out. And the representatives aren't always as helpful as they should be...
Thank you

I also had a bad experience with the Walmart prepaid card. My aunt bought me one for Christmas and It never worked. It had $20 on the card, but it cost her $28 to buy it with all the fees. I never saw a penny of the money on that card. I called into customer service to be charged $2 to talk to someone about the "invalid?" card, by this time the card balance was down to $5.44 because of all of the fees. I never got back any of the money! I had a very bad experience with this and will tell as many people as possible not to every WAIST their money on this. I could have just flushed it down the toilet and ended up with less stress.

Wow talk about word manipulation. Okay lady, either your lying or an idiot. Because I've got the same card, when you purchase it you get a temporary card to use until the actual one with your name on it is mailed to you. Your temporary card works just the same as the mailed one. I used the temporary one all the time, pretty much every other day with no problem. So either stop being dumb, or stop being deceptive.

btw: I LOVE this card, mainly because I'm so sick of dealing with the scamming banks.

Walmart waste of space

There is this cashier at the Springfield Walmart who is a total waste of space. She always has a sour look on her face and is just nasty to everyone. She looks like she is being tortured and forced to work there! She is a HUGE girl with tattoos all over and it's just so trashy. I refuse to shop there anymore! I have never been treated so horribly. The last time I was there I was sickly sweet to her. When she gave me my receipt I said "Thank you very much" and she grunted. I can't believe it.

Don't go back to that walmart. Go somewhere else. There are employees like this at all walmarts. When you say hi to them, they look like someone just took a dump on their shoes. I go to the self check out line or just not talk to them. They probably don't want anyone to talk to them, so just dont say anything to them. Some of them do grunt though when you say thanks. It like talking to a cavewoman but funnier. Just feel sorry for them, they work at the evil company that is walmart who treats their employess like crap. How do u expect them to act making minimum wage at a dead end job probably supporting a kid or three while only getting 20 to 30 hours a week.

I think you passed judgment on this girl before she did a thing. She is huge and has tattoo's all over the place. You labeled her as trash. Yet you headed right for her checkout more than likely because it had less of a wait. Find another checkout to pay for your rabbit food and stop judging people. Regardless of what comes out of your mouth, your body language told her exactly what you thought of her.

That is just too damn funny about you killing her with kindness and all. These people have more job security and yet they act like that. They need to take it out on the management and overthrow them. That's what they need to do. It's not the public's fault that those igmoes treat their employees so bad.

That was just ONE employee. Report her to a manager so they get to the bottom of her bad attitude.
Walmart is making more of their stores available and making more of them "super walmart" so u can get more of your groceries their. They are trying to get more people to shop their, not get less customers.
This is the worst recession we've ever had in history-and u are complaining over something that's a lil' "trivial" during tough times. I think you need to choose your battles when you're trying to save a buck.
