Walmart Money Card / customer service sucks!!!
The Walmart MoneyCard is the biggest joke! The customer service people have no clue what they are doing! They even lie! I have shopped at walmart for a long time and never received such bad service as I did with the people on the phone to have the personalized card sent to me. I bought my first card, pay $3 plus put $20 on it. Did not know that I could not have them fedx to me because there was not enough $ on it, the customer service person did not tell me this just said I had to buy another one and do it again. So the next day I go back to walmart buy a 2nd card (remember I did not know I needed a larger amount of money on it) so I go on line try it again! Now I try and do it in just my daughters name but the message comes up that a parent needs to authorize it so I am again speaking with a customer service rep. This time he explained that it was already activated that it couldn't be fedx to me so what they want me to do is GO BACK TO WALMART A THIRD TIME BUY ANOTHER CARD PUT MORE MONEY ON IT AND CALL THEM DIRECT877-965-7848. SO I GO GET A THIRD CARD!!! I PUT 50 DOLLARS ON IT AND I COME HOME AND CALL THE NUMBER GIVEN TO ME!!! NOW THIS IS THE BIGGEST JOKE!!! I CALLED, ENDED UP WITH A REP AGAIN AND SHE GOES "IT WILL BE MAILED TO YOU IN 7 TO 10 BUSINESS DAYS" AT THAT POINT I STOPPED HER AND SAID "I NEED THIS ONE FEDX TO ME " SO SHE SENDS ME TO ANOTHER DEPT SO THEY CAN FEDX IT TO ME. WANT DO YOU THINK I GOT? SORRY BUT IT WAS ALREADY ACTIVATED AND WE CAN NOT FEDX IT TO YOU!!! I DID NOT DO IT! THE REP ON THE PHONE DID AND DIDN'T ASK IF I WANTED IT FEDX TO ME ! NOW A THIRD CARD CAN NOT BE FEDX TO ME!!!
I WAS NOT EVEN GIVEN THE OPTION AT ALL ON THE COMPUTER OR SPEAKING TO A REP TO HAVE IT FEDX!!! IT IS IN THE PAPERWORK WHEN YOU BUY THE FIRST CARD THAT IT WILL COST 20 DOLLARS TO HAVE IT FEDX!!!
THAT IT ALL I WANTED BUT THE REPS LIED!!! I FINALLY HAD ENOUGH TALKING TO THE REPS SO I ASKED TO SPEAK TO A SUPERVISOR WHO SAID THAT THE 3RD CARD WITH 50 DOLLARS WOULD BE FEDX D TO ME AND I WOULD GET IT FRIDAY TODAY IS SATURDAY !!!I DID NOT RECEIVE IT BECAUSE THE REPS LIED!!! I AM SO DISAPPOINTED IN THE WAY I WAS TREATED AND LIED TO! I WISH I NEVER HAVE TO SHOP AT WALMART AGAIN OR DEAL WITH THE REPS ON THE PHONE BECAUSE THEY ARE LIARS. IF AND WHEN I RECEIVE THESE STUPID CARDS I WILL TAKE ALL THE MONEY OFF THEM AND CUT THEM UP BECAUSE THIS WAS THE BIGGEST JOKE OF A BUSINESS I EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH. PERSONALLY I THINK WALMART SHOULD NOT SELL THEM UNTIL THEY TRAIN THEIR PEOPLE CORRECTLY TO DEAL WITH CUSTOMERS AND THE PROBLEMS THAT COME WITH THE CARD! PLUS THEY NEED TO TELL THE COMPUTER PROGRAMMERS TO GO OVER THE PROGRAM BECAUSE ITS NOT RIGHT!!! i NEVER BEEN SO MAD AT CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS IN MY LIFE!!! LIES LIES LIES IS ALL I GOT!!! I THINK WALMART CUSTOMER SERVICE SHOULD TAKE LESSONS FROM LL BEAN INC. BECAUSE THEY WOULD NEVER TREAT PEOPLE THE I WAS TREATED BY WALMART REPS!!!
