Walmart I found that a raise would not happen for one year

I worked at Walmart till my 90 day reveiw, (which was good), I found that a raise would not happen for one year, how can they think people would stay there after that? I am still waiting for my last paycheck and still waiting for my exit papers on my quit date. The people I worked with were awesome, friendly and helpful. Management needs alot of work, this I know from exp. in management a feww years ago. I now understand many complaints I heard from employees, and from customers. Thats to bad, This store could go far if they'd clean a few areas.

Walmart being groped by store employee

I was groped by the door greeter. I went to use a motorized cart and the greeter came over to tell me I was wrapping the cord wrong, I told him I had it, and he told me the cord would be dragging. I had the end of the cord in my hand. he put his hand on my leg and I told him to take his hand off of me, He then moved his hand to my crotch and groped me. It was disgusting, and freaky. I got off the cart and grabbed a regular shopping cart told him to take his hands off of me and I called him a freak. Well my daughter witnessed this whole thing, and now when I called the police they tell me that the Hanks hands never went below his waist in the next sentance they tell me he has the cord in his hands, so if his hands did not go below his waist how did he get the cord? really. The guy knows how to block the camera, he groped me and even the Casa Grande police will do nothing... Thank you walmart for the great holiday I know where I am not shopping on black friday.

Walmart cashier associate embarrassed older couple

We were checking out at our local walmart last evening, when we overheard an associate berating an older couple just ahead of us for having more than the alloted 20 items. They seemed dumfounded as to her ramblings and i don't think they really understood what she was talking about and how degrading her attitude was, but we did notice the wife going to customer service as we were leaving. In my working days I was a district manager for a large privately owned company here in florida. If any one of our employees were to have subjected ANY customer to that type of treatment, we would quickly have Invited that employee to seek employment elsewhere. What is wrong with young people nowadays?. Do they resent retirees? What entitles and empowers them to be so disrespectful?. I would think they would be grateful for even having a job in this economic environment especially in florida which is a right to work state.

Walmart wont sell cd to my child.

My 12 year old daughter was caught shoplifting there and they made a big deal over it all over CD's totaling $100 more or less. For a company that makes that much money to be harsh on a child is wrong. Come on she is only 12 years old. She even admitted she would have bought the CD's but they refused to sell them to her since they were parental advisery. Who are they to tell my daughter what CD's she can and can't get. They think that because they are the biggest retailer they can tell us how to raise our children. Also she is only 12 years old, she does not know any better. If it was an adult I can see why they would be so uptight but this is a 12 year old. I have no problem with her listening to those CD's who are they telling me what my child can and cant listen to that is my job not theirs.

Also for the idiots who are planning on asking why did I not purchase the CD's for her. For one thing she was shopping with a friend's mother. Another thing, who are they to say that she cannot buy the CD's that is my job not theirs.

I even offered to buy the CD's for her but they told me that she already committed the crime. I even asked them if I could buy the CD's after this whole thing is done with, they told me that they would excort us out of the store and she would not be allowed in the store without a parent, and if we do return to the store she is not to leave my side. I won't be returning and I bought the same CD's for her at Target.

Cathy, perhaps you are okay with selling your son out but I would never treat my daughter this badly. Imagine how scared your little six year old was when he had to apologize to the manager who is probably four times his size. You berated my parenting skills on another website where I posted this. You all judge my parenting skills but what about Cathy who forced her son to apologize to an adult. Imagine how scared the child was on the drive there.

She has never been caught stealing from other places. Learn to read. The problems she had was at school by a few nasty girls. I called one of them a ### and threatened to slap her and she went and told her parents who warned me that they would go to the police if I did.

First of all Zachary you are an adult so you would be able to buy the CD even if your parents said no you would be allowed to buy it.

Julie. I am aware of the law. But I gave my daughter money to buy the CD and told her she was allowed to buy it. They still refused to buy it for her.

Zachary they do not know that my daughter has a history of getting suspended at school and all three times it was because she was being picked on and the teacher was being unfair and showing favourtism.

Update by V man
Nov 22, 2011 8:07 pm EST

She did ask the friend's parents to buy it and was told not without her parents permission. The other girl's parents should have been watching my daughter. They know her history since her daughter is in the same class her.(getting suspended from school, ect) Knowing my daughter's history they should have been extra watchful with her. If they were watching her she would not have stolen the CD's knowing someone was watching. She was planning on buying one but decided to steal four one with the parental advisery and the other's without. That is not the point. The point is that she was denied the purchase. Also I did not buy the CD for her, well I did, but she will be paying for it herself. I just bought it because big companies like Walmart and Target make their own rules and tell us how to parent our children.

Julie, she even told the cashier that her parents gave her money to buy the CD. The cashier still did not sell it to her.

Update by V man
Nov 22, 2011 7:40 pm EST

Well my daughter would have bought it if they allowed her to.

The retailer gives them every opportunity to pay for the merchandise, once they pass all points of sale with out paying for the merchandise...It is to late to pay for it. And they should all be held accountable, especially at age 12. Because at age 17, they go to jail. It is your job as a parent to teach your child right from wrong. Stealing is wrong, its against the law. They should be harsh...obviously your child didnt learn that it was wrong from you. Maybe you as the parent should have been held accountable for your childs actions, since you think they were to harsh on your child.

Walmart cashier rude to child.

I was at the register when after I buyed all my stuff my three year old son picked up a chocolate bar. The cashier told me to tell him to put it back. I nicely told her that my son was three years old and if she could let him have the chocolate bar. She said not until I paid for it. I then told him not to make a big issue of a chocloate bar wich costed less than a doller. She said it does not matter how much it costs I still have to pay for it. At this time I told my son to put the chocolate bar down because the mean ### said no. He started crying. This cashier made my son cry and I am angry right now. What kind fo people do you hire? One who is mean to children. That ### needs a lesson in sympathy because she clearly has none and it is obvious she has no children. She even lied and said she has children but if she did she would have let my son have the chocolate bar. ###.

She would have gotten fired if she would have allowed the kid to have the candy. I don't understand why you think you should have gotten if for free--why didn't you just fork over the "less than a dollar". if you hate walmart so much why are you shopping there?

As it happens, -I was behind you in line that day. I recall this because I have never before seen a customer so ignorant & belligerent that they expected a cashier to STEAL from her own store by giving a child free candy. Perhaps she should give EVERY child a free candy bar, eh? My concern was even bigger -because you reeked so badly of booze -I wondered how you were going to get all that stuff you bought with your food-card home. You make me embarrassed to be part of the same minority -because people like YOU fit those stereotypes that other people have about our community. Here's my suggestion: Lay off the booze, take a bath & quit expecting society to give you & your kids handouts. Otherwise, -just go back to the bush.

Walmart is company that worries about making money like any other business. If the cashier gives your son a chocolate bar, she has to give every kid a chocolate bar so now that one dollar chocolate bar becomes the 400 dollar chocolate bar. Where I work, which is not Walmart. Daily, I see kids cry because they don't get what they want. The person who says no, was never the cashier, it is always the parent as the parent was doing their job by parenting.

I love kids.

If she allowed your son to take the chocolate bar, she would have been fired and the cashier is not going to lose their job for a chocolate bar that is only a dollar. .

Taking a product from the store and not paying for it is stealing and the cashier is not going to lose their job for a chocolate bar that is only a dollar.

It is your job as a parent to tell your son no and to put it back.

3 year old that cries. Don't they all cry when they don't get what they want?

Walmart told me to leave express lane

The store was busy on a Saturday evening, around 5:30pm-6:30pm.I made an attempt to purchase my items on the "self-register", most of the items wasn't scanning. So I went to the "10 items or less" register, having a buggy load of items, with the checkout lines, stretching to the clothing dept., the cahier on that register told me not to come at her register and pointed at the "sign" letting me know that she wasn't going to deal with my buggyload of items.I looked around, could't believe what just happened, a bit hurt about the situation, all of the registers were full with customers, frustrated, I left and do not want to come back ever again!I"ll just take my business eslewhere!

So walmart is out, Target is out. I guess this troll only had Kmart to go to.

You are obviously trolling. First you claim that Target forced you to buy a Teen game for your eight year old. Now you are complaining because Walmart won't allow you to buy a whole buggy full of items in the express lane? Trolling is one thing but your fantasy about child abuse is appalling.

Walmart self check out

So I only have 2 items and I want to check out quickly. Naturally I look for the self check out isle... There r 4 but only one is open... I wait in line for it and then scan my items then when I go to put my cash in there is this little sign that says credit only... So I ask the person that monitors this one self check out... She gets all gruff and voids the items and walks away... Why is only one open... Why open at all if you cant even accept cash... And what purose does she serve, wi such horrible customer service skills... Why not just work a register...

Walmart discrimination?

this is the second time this has happened to me and i am fed up with walmart. as most consumers i try to make my dollar stretch as much as possible so i take advantage of walmarts guarantee about matching prices, with no ad needed. well today it happened again, the lady in front of me (who was white) comp added everything, crazy prices that were very obvious she was lying. the cashier didnt question her, ask for an ad...nothing. i went to check out...lettuce (normally $1.13) had it comp added for 99cents, the cashier immediately asked me who had it or if i had the ad. now, before i go shopping, i compare all local ads online, write down the prices for what i am needing but never where, as i had never been asked where it was at. i told her i wasnt sure, showed her my grocery list so she could see that i wasnt just naming numbers but i did have things written down in advance. gloria, my cashier, wouldnt budge. again, i had another comp ad that was refused. she said she was bending over backwards to please me but i had to have the ad. i told her, why didnt you ask the lady in front of me. she didnt have an answer. so to make a long story short, i started crying, because i had my grocery list preplanned with a certain amount and spent way more than what i was planning. on a side note, "gloria" eventually walked away from her register stating that she "couldnt deal with me" and a CSM took her place. like i said in the beginning, walmart clearly advertises "find a lower price, we will match it, right at the register, no questions asked". but that is on a pick and choose basis. if you look poor, are not white be prepared because they will refuse you. but im curious to know how many out there have experienced the same thing i went through? at the walmart in wagoner oklahoma. call me [protected] or email me: [protected]@yahoo.com. if there are others, we can do a class action lawsuit. please dont let walmart continue to make people feel like they are not deserving of honesty and respect!

As of 11/14/2014 WalMart is supposed to be price matching 3rd party competitors such as Amazon.com... I went to Amazon.com and put all the items I wanted to buy in my online shopping cart so that I could pull it up at the register to show the cashier. I called ahead to the store to double check... Long story short they told me they will not honor 3rd party pricing. So, I called CORPORATE... I continued to get transferred several times as well as hung up on! Finally talked to a rep, they tried telling me that they did not price match 3rd party... I argued with her and told her that it is a new policy that just went into effect. She put me on hold, came back and told me again that they didn't do 3rd party, I argued some more... She put me on hold for a third time and finally came back and said yes they do honor 3rd party but it is up to the store managers discretion. So I asked to speak to her manager... basically got the same story... "We don't price match 3rd party", after arguing with him he finally told me same thing... It is ultimately up to the store manager. After calling several local wal-marts, none of them are honoring 3rd party pricing... So, I ask you... WHAT THE HELL IS THE POINT IN HAVING A CORPORATE POLICY THAT STATES THAT THEY HONOR 3rd PARTY IF NONE OF THE STORES WILL HONOR IT?

This is the second time that I have bought great value crescent rolls and they have had plastic. The first time I thought maybe I had bought bad ones or that it was chunks of salt and picked them out just to be safe. This past time I thought it was really weird to have it two times in a row and in only 2 out of 6 cans of the rolls. I showed it to my family and even tried to taste test it to make sure it wasn’t salt. We then went to google to see if anyone else was having this problem and lo and behold there were already comments about this happening to other people. Honestly I think it’s worth it next time to get the name brand rather than great value since this has happened twice in a row.

Have had that happen...didn't say anything. Thought it was one of those things. But just got a bag of Great Value green beans. Absolutely horrible. Have been trying to make a complaint to corporate but it keeps saying I don't have a Walmart near me...gave me the address for one across the Mississippi River in Illinois. I live in St. Louis. Got the correct address and now it won't let me get back into that site to give the correct address. Husband swears by shopping for groceries at Walmart because of the pice. I won't anymore and will not recommend them. Aldi's is closer and cheaper and I get better products.

Walmart returns

Today at 2:00 in the afternoon I tried to take back some new unopened costumes that I ordered for halloween. Walmart Online Assured me that the costumes would make it there on time upon order, and Many of them did but 5 of them did not. Upon Asking the Assistant manager if he would take them back he said he could not but Walmart online says Hassle Free Returns. Obviously this is a big problem from this walmart in Jackson Mi! If you order something and cannot return it that's not being a very good business! Customer service is something that I take very seriously on Ebay! If I sell something and it does not get there on time I get a negative and if the customer does not like something or it does not fit I always take it back even if I Don't feel like it. I have been selling items from walmart at http://stores.ebay.com/BuyAmazon-gifts-Galore this month due to a back injury at work, I can't do much and noticed that Online you can save a ton on Shipping with 98 cent shipping going on for the last 3 days even on diapers and Big Items! Shipping To store. Although I'm pretty sure the assistant manager at this store is to smug to want to deal with it's customers that want to return anything. even though I have helped that fatcat pay his paycheck for the last 4 months straight. I asked him if you take back gifts after christmas and he said yes but 5 measily unopened unused costumes after halloween which could be considered dress-up were too much for him to be able to handle. Small Minded, No Personality, Assistant Manager needs to get to know his customers then he would know where his paycheck comes from. We've Grossed over 16, 000 in sales these last 3 months pushing ebays products only to get treated like Crap! Very dissapointed Walmart Jackson Location Customer!

I blame the parents here as well. This girl was just caught stealing less than a week ago. Why is she even allowed on a computer at all three days after she stole? How are they punishing her and her sister.

Walmart does not stand behind their products

I am 48 yrs old and have been in retail for over 20+ years. Recently I bought a 37 inch television from Wal-Mart. 32 days after I buy the TV the picture goes out. I take it back to the store to just exchange it for another (the NBA playoffs were in full swing). Imediately I start getting the runaround. First, Do you have your receipt? I didn't so they wouldn't exchange it and the store asst. mgr. and general mgr were VERY inconsiderate as well as unprofessional. I take the tv and put it into my cherokee and go back home to try and find a receipt 32 days old that I never thought that I would need. Thanks to my lovely wife who NEVER throws a receipt away, I was able to go back with receipt in hand the next day knowing that soon I would be watching the playoffs. Oh how wrong I was, I get told that my receipt is 33 days old and that they can NOT exchange merchandise after 30 days. Now I'm fuming, I take my tv back to my cherokee and start calling corporate. For three days I wrestle this bear starting with the call center rep and moving my way up the chain. On the third day as I head to work in the rain with my tv still in the back of my cherokee, I hydroplane into a deep ravine totaling out not only my cherokee but my tv as well. The next day Wal-Mart calls me and says they will take back my tv for exchange. I have been boycotting them for over two years now. A friend of mine pointed out to me that my boycotting doesn't even phase them in the least, so now I'm on to phase two. Now i will be sending holiday cards to CEO Michael Duke wishing him well during whatever holiday (fathers day, easter, x-mas, 4th of july valentines etc) with all my Target receipts and others that I would normally have spent with them. If that doesn't work phase three will be me renting a billboard that states "walmart does NOT stand behind its products, call me and I will tell you why." and hopefully get some media exposure to go with it. If anyone would like to send receipts for me to use in this campaign email me at [protected]@hotmail.com and I will give you my mailing address

Walmart walmart hates children

We live in an area where there are not many houses. I had to do some shopping along the way so I took my four year old and seven year old daughters with me. I wanted to take them to a close by neighborhood later on to go trick or treating. I normally go to your store but today I did not need a thing from your store. Since it was closest to the neighborhood I I asked for plastic bags for my children to go trick or treating with. They said they could not give me a plastic bag unless I buy something, . So I went and bought a few things which I later returned'. You have a three month refund policy.. I will return everything that I can which I have bought within the three months which is close to $150.. I was a very loyal customer and you could not even give my kids two freaking bags to gather their candy in/. Those bags must cost you five cents;. Well for ten cents you lost a loyal lifetime customer/. You do a lot of charity work which benefits children but I see you only do this to get more business from the community by providing for the community, . You don't care about children at all

Wow, when I wrote this I did not expect a bunch of employees to defend their company. Not only that you accuse me of using the bags to steal. And Hogwarts I did not return the items with the bags. First born Triplet I did not steal a thing quit accusing me. Also how pathetic are you go go trick or treating how old are you anyway. How pathetic of you to get free candy that way. You people have to realize that this was for my children. They almost ruined their Halloween. To keep their Halloween from being ruined I had to buy some items which I later returned and I will be returning everything in the last three months. It may waste gas money but it is worth it.

First born Triplet, you are pathetic, getting free candy like that. How old are you? Most people stop trick or treating by the time they are teenagers unless they are freeloaders such as yourself.

Since I have remade my account icu, I have caused no trouble. It is you people that can't let it go. It is you people that chase me around this website harassing me on every complaint I reply to. If you have not noticed, I have ignored/not replied to every personal attack/name calling done to me since I remade my account and only responded to those that were ontopic of the complaint in which they were in (with the exception of this very reply of course). If you can't get over your twisted hatred, then I have no alternative than to resort to submitting reports to the admin. Call it whining if you want, I am following the rules of this site in this matter and you are violating the ToU.

Squibs, the admin instructed me to submit a request via the site's messaging system so that they could read both my request to you in attempting to resolve this issue and your reply to me.

Also, inb4 they blame me for Brenda yet again, 1) to which they have no proof and 2) again, I liked Brenda and have absolutely no reason to report her to the admin.

Thank you and good day.

OK, I'm kind of confused here. You spent $150 on things you didn't need, so you could get flimsy plastic bags? Why not just pay a buck each for the canvas bags and be done with it and not have to spend time standing online at the desk? I won't shop in Wal*Mart without my canvas shopping bags. Their plastic bags barely make it from the car to the front door. And that's with light stuff in them. Forget using them for anything heavy, unless you want to triple bag the items. They don't even hold up well enough with light things in them to reuse for waste paper baskets.

You also have to consider their point of view. The bags cost them money. Letting anyone just grab bags can be a problem as far as loss prevention goes. Not to mention, they were selling bags and plastic buckets specifically made for trick or treating. Reusable from year to year and far more sturdy than a plastic bag. If you went to more than five houses for trick or treats, I'm amazed those plastic bags held up and didn't break.

You could spend $150, just to spend the money on gas and lose an hour or two of your day to return everything. You could have saved yourself time and money by just buying two plastic pumpkin buckets, which our Wal*Mart was selling for all of 93¢. It would have been cheaper than the gas to return everything and if you consider your time worth anything, far cheaper than what your time is worth. Your children also would have had something that wasn't going to break, had someone dropped a full-sized candy bar in the bag.

The scariest thing is that the OP has children. Those poor kids. Just look at all the time and effort she is willing to neglect her children all because Walmart wouldn't give her a bag, even though she probably trashed over a thousand since last Holloween. I hate to thing how much time she uses to neglect her kids if something serious happens. Child Protective Services needs to get those kids to save them ASAP.

Walmart has no obligation to give you anything for free. Most stores in my area charge you five cents per bag.

Why couldn't you just go and buy a Halloween bag for your kids to use? The dollar store sells them, too. Even a pillow case would have worked!

Walmart lack of customer training

Hi, A couple days ago I went into walmart with a pedock. (A pedock is a slip of paper used as money for buy what ever is listed given by social worker.) Anyway, the pedock was listed for $200.00 of groceries. After getting all the things I needed I took $200.00 worth of groceries to the register.

Before I continue, when you have pedock, the cashier is suppose to suspend your order and walk with you to the customer service desk with the pedock and receipt. This is to make sure you don't walk out with the unpaid items.

After this cashier had finished putting my groceries through all I said was "now I need you to suspend it." She did and handed me the reciept. She didn't walk with me to the customer service desk, she didn't even ask why I needed it suspended. I COULD HAVE taken that reciept and my unused pedock and walked out of the store put the groceries in my car and took them home free and came back the next day and used the same $200.00 pedock to get another load of groceries.

Of course I didn't do that. That would be stealing and it's wrong. So anyway, I proceeded to the customer service desk by myself and told the woman at the counter what just transpired. She took it seriously and called the manager over who was standing at an empty closed till. He listened to my story and made a sound like "hm" and walked back to his empty closed till and started flicking his pen in between his fingers.

I was shocked that he didn't go and explain to this cashier what she should have done. It would have taken two minutes to explain. Next time they may not be so lucky as to get a trust worthy customer. I know I shouldn't worry about it and what ever their loss but I almost regret not walking out with that free load of groceries. Would have hopefully taught them a thing or two about how important it is to train your employees before putting the on the floor.

First off, why didn't you just go to customer service to begin with? That seems pretty stupid to have the cashier ring something up, only to have it suspended. Second, I am a Walmart cashier and have never seen anything like that. And I have had social workers come through my line and never had to do anything like that. So either you live in a screwed up state or this complaint is bs.

Walmart wont hire my son

October 25 2011

Try phoning in after applying for a job. I'm talking about someone who needs a job ASAP! Customer service told me that Walmart keeps applications on file for 6 months and will call when they are hiring...AND that all companies do the same. That is complete BS! I asked to speak with the person in charge of hiring. When told the people in charge of hiring were in a meeting I said, fine, when my 22 year old son comes in to talk to this person, who does he talk to and where does he find them? She said he has to make an appointment to talk to them. I said that's fine, when he comes in to make an appointment, where does he do this. She said, come to the back of the store in the layaway area and she herself would page the person to speak with me. The fact is, I don't like being snappy, but I had to in order to find out how to even speak with someone to find out if there is a remote possibility of my son being hired. My telephone conversation with her was after several attempts by my son to find out from customer service at the Walmart store, who to talk to about a job, since he had submitted his application and resume several days ago. The lady I spoke with was incredibly rude to me. It's a wonder Walmart has any employees and customers for that matter.

October 29 2011

At least one of you admit that you are an employee, bet you all work there. I asked them why my son was not hired, and they won't give me details. I call them everyday to tell them what a good worker he is. They are discriminating against him and I will be taking this to court and force them to hire him. My son did get an interview and they said he is not what they were looking for and they told him why they could not hire him. He won't tell me why they won't hire him and when I called the store they refused to give me the reason they won't hire him which is why I come to the conclusion that this is age discrimination. I guess I will have to go to a lawyer to force them to tell me why they are not hiring him and sue them for discriminating against him. He should be hired he works harder than a lot of his friends. This is discrimination. If they can hire disabled people, some people with mental ###ness for greeter position why not hire him. Why hire some disabled when someone like my son who can work harder and better than them can take their place. Just the greeter at the door, has some mental ###ness, he is very nice and all but he should not be working when people like my son can do the job better. The only job that greeter is fit for is greeting because he does not have the IQ to do any other job. When I pointed this out to the manager he told me that if I was going to make fun of his greeter that he won't talk to me.

Your son is old enough to get a job on his own, you are only hurting his chances by doing what you are doing OP. He probably won't tell you why they won't hire him because it has to do with your actions.

On another note, you discredit your own post with these few sentences:

"This is discrimination. If they can hire disabled people, some people with mental ###ness for greeter position why not hire him. Why hire some disabled when someone like my son who can work harder and better than them can take their place."

You scream discrimination and then want them to boot the disabled person to the curb in place of your son.

For one thing...cant your son speak for himself? It seems embarrassing that a 22 year olds mother would be doing this.

Secondly...business MAKE money off hiring disabled and handicapped people. They get money from the government for "so many" disabled, handicapped, and elderly people they hire. So its to a companies benefit to hire these people over anyone else.

Third...if YOU were a company and some woman was harassing you all the time about hiring her son...would YOU? I certainly wouldnt.

By your actions you have made certain that your son will never be hired there. Why the hell would he want to work for an evil company anyway? They use and abuse thier employees.

Even if he did finally get hired there, they would make it so hard on him, because of YOU, that he would quit.

And you cannot sue someone for NOT hiring a person, simply because YOU say so. There has to be proof of a reason that they didnt hire him.

If you want them to hire your son don't keep asking them to hire him on your behalf or they won't hire him because they think he is unable to fend for himself, or do make decisions without asking you first. In other words they get the impression that your son won't be able to think for himself. Also accusing a company of BS when they are telling the truth is not going to make them want to work with him.

Walmart I am not a happy wal~mart shopper

I am not a happy Wal~mart shopper! I went in because I have a leak in my front passenger tire and I needed it fixed. They told me that they couldn't fix it because it isn't the same tire in the book for my car. They are the ones that sold Beth and Jason the tires! Wal~mart put them on the car in the first place! If I had the receipt they said they could have helped but I didn't so they wouldn't fix it! It is stupid! They knew the tires were from them! I was even willing to pay! ARG! If you sell an item you should service it! I think I am going to put this on my Facebook!

Walmart harassment

Stay away! They treat loyal customers like dirt. I was just at walmart in redding ca proceeded toward the door. The lady guarding the door did not stop me, but she did stop my friend who was carrying some of my bags, since I have a hernia and can not carry much weight. I brought the lady the reciept and she still did not ask to check my bags. After I had carried my bag to the end of the hall again she said I had to bring yhem back a third time so she could now check them. I told her to come check if she wants but I am too hurt to carry the bags over again. I walked over and got my items that she had already checked from my friend and continued back again to the end of the hall. At that point they said dbont come back. I grew angry and demanded a mngr. When the assistant manager came the employees told him I swore at them and was causing a disruption. I told him this was a lie and he said "you being angry is a disruption." ii used to go to walmart 3-5 times a week. Ill never go to any of them again.

I'm lost on how this is considered harassment. If you are hired to perform a job and you cannot/do not perform the job, then it only makes sense that they get someone else to do the job. I'm not trying to be insulting here, but this is the best response I can give to a complaint that has absolutely no details.

Walmart bank holds of funds

I attempted to make some purchases on Walmart.com. When I entered my credit card id number and hit enter it said tha my number was not correct and to try again. I did as instructed again it said number was incorrect to check it and try again which I did. It still did not appear as order went through so I called their customer service to make sure I was not going to be billed and the agent I spoke with stated I "might" have an Authorization hold placed for amount of order 1x but NOT for all 3 so while on the phone with her I checked my bank account and found I had indeed had an Authorization hold placed all 3x. I told her I could not wait for 5 days to get my funds released and she assured me that if I contacted their offices on Monday (the next morning) with my banks fax number that they would send an Authorization hold release via fax and that my money would be released that day and I would not have to wait the 5 days. I called them with banks fax when Walmarts offices opened and gave one of their agents my banks fax number and was first told it would be 5 days. I told her what first agent said and the second agent said ok it will be done today. I specifically asked are you telling me my money will be released today and she said "YES". When I checked at close of business that evening and found it had not been I called them back and spoke with a floor supervisor who told me that they had expididted it but that it will still probably be 5 days. I explained to them my situation of being on disability raising 2 special needs children and how desperately I needed access to my money to all that was said was "SORRY" My bank even went so far as to let them do it by a phone call and they refuse to do even that. I have asked to speak to someone higher than a floor supervisor and was told there is nobody higher up that will speak with a customer. So even though they tell me I am not going to receive any of the 5 items I ordered (totaling $53.46) they are still going to keep my money totaling $160.38 for 5 days! When did we make it legal to temporarily ROB someone!
