Vons coke and lays sale

Revived my weakly AD in the mail it says the if you buy 4 coke 12 packs you pay $8.88 for all four I showed my AD to the person in customer service they gave me a BS excuse why I couldn't get it for that price then told them why I didn't get the deal on the lays chip on the tag it says buy 3 get them for $1.69 again A BS excuse that I had to download a coupon from my phone I read the tag and nowhere on there did it say that I have been a go s customer foe many years now in the town where I live there isn't many good grocery store but after this I will never go back

Vons pharmacy

Grover Beach Store in Grover Beach, CA
Pharmacy technician, Susan, violated my Hipaa rights by shouting at me across the counter about what type of medication my doctor prescribed me. This was after the pharmacy refused to give me my prescription. I reported this to the Office for Civil Rights at the Department of Health and Human Services. It's embarassing to be treated this way and have to call your doctors office and have them demand the pharmacy give you your prescription.

Vons sandwich

I strolled into your seedy establishment on 12-9-17 around 6:30 pm to feast on a turkey sandwich. I was dripping salvia like Pavlov's Dog. The sandwich techniction was obviously over worked by his snotty attitude toward me. As he started to prepare my sandwich, no french rolls of course, so I opted for sourdough.
What produce was there, was sloppy and flung around the area like a category 5 storm. "Tomato's" I asked, as he slung on the mayo adding limp soggy pieces of lettuce. "No, no tomatos" he retorted. Hmmmm. A deep depression sank in as the line behind me started to grow, guests clearing thier throats for attention. But he was alone. So alone, and pissed off like a carpenter who missed the nail and smashed his finger. But this guy was seething inside.
So he finished up my very sad sandwich with three pieces of crusty cucumbers, slapped on a cover and away I went, meandering around the shopping cart conjested store. I reluctantly paid and left.
When I got home, I had to tried to revived the sandwich with my own, produce. As I bit into the thing, I couldn't swollow the bread becauce it was so stalel. I quickly drank a glass of water to unclog my throat.
Needless to say, I will never enter your dwelling again. Even if there was a zombie appoclipc and there was only one sandwich left in the world.

Vons unprofessional service and sales

Hello to whom my be concerned,

I am an extremely consistent and loyal consumer. I live with 2 city blocks of your north park location and purchase products from your establishment 5-7 days out of the week for the past 2+ years. I also have been denied service from this location prior, due to technically of intoxication or identification. All of went without any formal/ informal complaints. I understand that certain circumstances and indefensible situation lead to these decisions. Unfortunately, this evening I was subject to discrimination and an extremely poor service experience. It was rude, disrespectful, and most importantly uncalled for. The of lack of service from the entry level employee and manager (Jose) in my opinion were sufficiently subpar. This coming from a business owner in the service industry. I have had to turn people away before, but never had I thought the way I was manner was appropriate. My denied service was so unjustly that a war torn veteran defending us was denied service out of spite by your employee. Further more, the veteran was so disgruntled with the situation he scolded the employee about how he "didn't get shot for people to treat each like this", then proceeded to leave the establishment without buying anything and leaving his full cart. It's safe to say I will not be returning due to the neglence & disrespect of the staff. Also, there were many local patrons that witness this act. Simply said this dispute was definitely "unimpressive", and I hope change is I forced repaidly. Anyways, I figured upper management would appreciate the insight from another person who has control of their organization. I hope you will weed poor employees out of these positions and I wish you the best moving forward. Jose is an ineffective and unqualified manager, you should allow him to move on.

Vons cookies jumbo favorites variety pack 12 count from 2355 e. colorado blvd. pasadena, ca

I purchased a container of "Cookies Jumbo Favorites Variety Pack 12 Count" from Vons bakery at 2355 E. Colorado Blvd. Pasadena, CA on 12/7/17. The cookie container included chocolate chip, double chocolate chocolate chip, oatmeal and cranberry raisin, and sugar cookies. The container was opened immediately on 12/7/17 and one of each variety was sampled. The sugar cookie tasted bad like the eggs were curdled or had gone bad. None of the other varieties had this taste. My husband ate a bite of the sugar cookie and also thought it had gone bad. There were no visible burn or mold spots on the sugar cookies. He tried sampling the cookie with peanut butter, jelly, and whipped cream to cover up the taste, all to no avail. The sugar cookie did cause gastric distress, so I told him to throw away the sugar cookies. I am not seeking money back or free cookies, I just want to let someone know to throw away batter when it smells like rotten or curdled eggs. My husband and I have been buying cookies from Vons' bakery on 2355 E. Colorado Blvd in Pasadena, CA for the past seven years and this is the first time we have ever gotten a batch that made us ill and tasted bad. Please have the bakery do a quality control sample or something to make sure bad cookies aren't sold in the future. I really like getting the variety pack and would hate to have to throw away one fourth of the cookies due to worrying about getting sick again.

Vons grocery delivery from hell

I made the mistake of ordering my groceries from your store and my entire families Christmas party was ruined because of it.
I work overnights in the ER and often have difficulty getting my shopping done. I usually use reputable services, but decided to try yours unfortunately. Here's what happened.
1) I was quoted $183, but charged $211. This is ridiculously far off the mark. A few dollars would be fine. This isn't fine at all.
2) I chose the "no substitutions" options but your store still substituted items against my wishes.
3) I ordered a full size cheesecake for $6.50 which was "substituted" out for a 4 inch cheesecake costing $22.49. Who would pay that? No one! It wasn't even remotely the same thing. Not even close. I was going to use this for a Christmas party and when I went to Vons less than an hour after my delivery- there was MANY of the cheesecake I'd ordered available so clearly this substitution was just a scam to take more money from me.
4) the asparagus, zucchini and 2 artichokes I ordered were tossed loosely into the bottom of a bag and some complete [censor] placed a gallon of milk and a half gallon of half & half on top of it all, smashing it all to the point that all my produce is now bruised and unusable.
5) the delivery guy had a cussing fit right outside my front door while delivering my groceries which my 4 year niece heard. Totally unprofessional.
6) the delivery was 30 minutes late. I really wish I'd refused it.
7) a 7 layer Mexican dip I ordered was treated the same way and arrived so destroyed it is a repulsive vat of ingredients that no one would serve.
8) the ridiculously over priced cheesecake also arrived completely destroyed and broken into pieces.
I want my money back. ALL OF IT!
The delivery was late and 90% destroyed.
9) this is now my 5th attempt via email to get some customer service on this issue. The link on the app results in an auto response telling me to call a number that isn't available during the hours I'm awake and although I tried calling it this morning after the delivery I spent 2 full hours waiting for a human to answer. No one ever did. Even though it kept saying an attendant would be with me momentarily. This is just one ridiculously awful mistake after another. There is absolutely no excuse for this total lack of customer service skills. Clearly Vons hates its customers!

Please do so swiftly or I will seek legal action. I do not want coupons as I will never shop with Vons ever again.

Vons employees

There are quite possibly some of the rudest and most inconsiderate employees at the center in Long Beach on Ximeno. I'm thoroughly disgusted by the employees even moreso than the vagrants that run amok in the shopping center. At least they (the vagrants) have an ounce of decency and respect. If you have any trouble even following through with this complaint, look at who was on the cashier at this exact time. The same culprit of extremely nasty attitude both inside AND outside of the business, to the point that it is creepy. I will be calling police for interference of my shopping next time. IE tomorrow; if this happens again.

Vons coupon acceptance

I am very disappointed in your company policy of paper coupons. I went to Vons today 12/5/17 because Digiorno pizza was on sale for $5.49 and I had a coupon from coupons.com for "Buy 2, get 1 free." When I got to the register I was told that Vons does not accept any free item coupons. I shop at a lot of grocery stores and I have never heard this before. It is really frustrating because I would have just bought them at Ralphs if I had known. Needless to say, I will no longer be shopping at Vons/Pavilions stores when I can get better deals for the same items elsewhere.

Vons ezekial 4:9 bread

I purchase the Ezekian 4:9 bread on November 29, 2017. I took the bread home and ate a couple of pieces on the morning of November 30, 2017 with butter and jelly. Throughout the day, my stomach was hurting, and I could not understand why. On today, December 1, 2017, I went to get a couple of pieces to have for breakfast and there was white and mold all over the ends of the bread. I look at the date and it was November 27, 2017. Now I know why my stomach was hurting the day before. I took the bread back to the store, and the manager had no compassion at all. He just said in a stearn voice, "Do you want a refund or another loaf". He could have apologized or something. Of course, I was not going to buy anything else at that point as I was angry as to lack of customer service. I feel like some kind of additional compensation needs to be considered. That bread is very expensive first of all and outdated loafs should not be on the shelf

Vons supervisor

I am a former employee of the rimrock vons on palm canyon and gene autry in Palm Springs. My spouse is a courtesy clerk and her and another employee are getting mistreated by the supervisor Stephanie, she tells them courtesy clerks are te slaves of the store and throws things on the ground and tells them to pick it up. I was in the store the other day and overheard her yelling at a courtesy clerk. When I was employed she would come talk crap to me and other employees about the checkers and courtesy clerks. I'm filling out this complaint in hopes she gets removed or transferred before I take matters into my own hands. Thank you

I have been shopping your Vons store, #1913, since it opened in Oxnard. I live one and a half miles from this location. You had an amazing store manager who was constantly on the floor talking to various department people and customers. He had employees sweeping trash in the parking lot. It never looked so good. The shelves were stocked, the store was clean and it was a pleasure to shop there. Then you transferred him to Santa Barbara. The store and lot are now dirty once again. Many items are out of stock and outdated. I now have to read the expiration dates before anything goes in my cart. The last straw for me was when I asked an employee to slice the last loaf of shepherds bread. It fell apart during the slicing and he handed it back to me in the bag. It was uneatable. He made no apologies. I guess he thought I'd still take it. Often the bread isn't cooked thoroughly and is doughy.
I will now drive the extra distance to go to your Seabridge store in Oxnard. It's a shame that store #1913 is in such shambles.

Vons turkey dinners

About a week before Thanksgiving my wife purchased a fully cooked turkey with all the trimmings for $49.99. She was told to pick to pick it up about 2PM and it would only take 2 hours to warm in the oven. when we got it home and opened it up we realized it was still frozen. We called Vons and was told all the defrosted turkeys were given out and that was all they had. I took it back and got a refund but it ruined our Thanksgiving for us and our guests.
Very poor management in the deli dept.

I can’t believe I’m actually writing a testimony. Thanks to Dr. Twaha! What a valley my family has been through. My husband said he was done, he said he wanted a divorce. There was another woman who once told me she will do anything to have my man by her side; he said he was miserable with me. I wanted to run away and disappear at first, but something stopped me in my tracks. I had the desire in my heart to stand for my marriage and then I came across Dr. Twaha website. Thank God for Dr. Twaha! I was told from various places that I officially had an ‘out’ from my marriage, but I didn’t want out. I felt the tug of my marriage vows and knew this whole situation was bigger than me. I praise God that I didn’t submit to my hurt and emotions. The circumstances were horrible. Vons vons selling products past "use by" date

Yesterday (Nov 21, 2017) I bought Dannon Vanilla Yogurt from Vons Mira Mesa/Camino Ruiz.
Upon reaching home I noticed that the yogurt was already past its "Use by" date. The "Use by" date mentioned on the yogurt was Nov 17, 2017.

It is very unethical of Vons to sell expired/old products. I could have gotten sick after eating the expired yogurt.

I request Vons to please look into this issue on priority. I am a regular customer of Vons but I will stop going there if my issue is not resolved.

Vons cashier service

Today on 11/21/17 I was checking out and the cashier Brenda was extremely rude to me. I was having a completely normal day and in my brief interaction with her she managed to make me feel humiliated and angry. I was checking out and when trying to make small talk with me she was very demeaning and rude. She also made invasive and embarrassing comments about the products I was buying. I am also an adult white woman so I have no idea why she seemed to take such offense with me. My desired resolution would just be to let her supervisor know that I had a very unpleasant experience with her so that actions can be taken to prevent this happening to other people. I am very upset because I was having a completely pleasant day and she made me feel so insignificant and stupid and now I am very upset.

The cashier probably made a simple mistake and forgot to provide the receipt. You should try calling the location of purchase to see if they can read you the receipt over the phone or possibly even fax a copy to you (if both you and they have fax machines of course).

Vons lousy customer service

About a year ago I moved to this neighborhood. The two stores noted above are the closest grocery stores to my home, and I have visited them both numerous times.

Both stores have consistently poor customer service at the deli counter and at the checkout. Maybe they're just understaffed but it's quite frustrating.

At both stores, if it's not a peak shopping time, which is when I try to get my shopping done, there is usually only one cashier on duty and the line can get backed up 5 or 6 deep -- small orders, large orders all in one line. If you politely ask them to call for a backup checker, they either ignore it or cop a snotty attitude and say there is nobody else to call.

If you need to ask where something is and try to ask a checker (because there's usually nobody at the customer service desk), you will be ignored. If you go there during peak shopping times, you will be ignored AND the staff is surly. There's only one guy at store (1) who always helps the deli customers right away and is pleasant, a young black man.

This morning (Sunday, 11/19/17) around 9:15 am, I stopped by store (1) at the deli section to pick up some sliced cold cuts. There was hardly anyone in the store, which I'm sure is typical for that time on Sunday morning.

There was one person ahead of me and two staff members at the deli counter. One staff member was in the process of helping the person ahead of me and another staff member walked over, saw me waiting and said, "I'll be with you in a minute". The person ahead of me was helped and left within about 2 minutes.

After waiting about another 45 seconds to a minute, I said "hello" to let the two women -- whose backs were facing the counter -- know that I was still waiting. The same staff member, with her back to me, said AGAIN, "I'll be with you in a minute". I couldn't really tell that she was doing anything besides removing some cooked meats from a rack on the counter - perhaps getting them ready for slicing or something of that nature.

She could have easily faced me and taken my order, and I have no idea what the other staff member was doing, but it was clear that neither one had the slightest compulsion to help a waiting customer.

This exact same thing is also the case at store (2). It happens just about every time I go there -- you have to beg someone to help you at the deli counter, and you have to wait in ridiculously long checkout lines there because there are only 1 or sometimes 2 open, and they're mobbed. The staff is surly and slow.

I remember one incident a couple of months ago at store (2) where the lines were long and one checker left her counter in the middle of someone's order and went over to help the other checker. Instead of having a supervisor or someone on duty to figure out problems with electronics or whatever, now both checkers are basically serving only one person, and everyone else (perhaps as many as 10 people) is just left standing there waiting for these checkers to figure out some problem.

Because I've had such consistently terrible luck with customer service at these stores, I debated on my way home from the gym today whether or not to stop, but decided since it's early on Sunday it wouldn't be very busy. It didn't matter. I was the only person in line and they both were still too busy to wait on me.

If my experience at both stores wasn't so consistent, I probably would not have bothered with this, but somebody needs to know how badly these stores are managing their customer service.

In fact, when the deli staff person said the second time that she'd be with me in a minute, I told her, "never mind, don't bother" and left the store. It's not the first time I've left without making my purchase. And this is at BOTH stores.

I came to the conclusion that nobody at these stores cares about the frustration being caused to its customers. So I'll have to travel a little further to the Ralphs or Stater Bros., where I've found the customer service to be much better.

Vons vons/ deli

On Friday 11/17/17 at Vons 19333 Victory Blvd, Reseda, CA 91335 I was buying a sandwich at the Deli around 1pm. There was a gentlemen and a lady there helping us. There were other customers waiting. Another employee gets there. Not sure what happened that caused her to start yelling at her coworkers. Her name was Alejandra from what I saw. The part that caught my attention the most was when she was threatening them with vacation hours or something of that sort. It was very umprofessional. I consider it to be mistreatment of employees and do not think that manager should have done that, especially in front of waiting customers that she could be helping. The lady and guy were very kind and provided excelent service.

Vons balloon service

I went to Vons around 10:30 at night to purchase balloons and there was no one present at the counter. I waited for a few minutes before checking around the store for an employee. The only employees I could find were working at the cashier. Not once did an employee ask if I needed assistance. I had to approach what seemed to be a manager standing near the cashiers watching the cameras. After asking if she could get someone to inflate the balloons, she started asking around to see if someone knew how to do it. No one knew so she ended up doing it for me. I spent a good 10-15 mins waiting for her to inflate 3 balloons for me. The time wasn't the problem. The problem was her attitude and those of the other employees. They were careless and not very helpful as they should be. On top of that, the station was low on helium. Great way to finish of the night.

Vons rude customer service at vons, avenida de los arboles, thousand oaks

I bought 10 yogurts today, 11/13/2017, which were on offer at 10 for $10. I only noticed when I got back home that I had been charged full price so I returned to highlight the matter with Customer Services. The assistant who dealt with me looked at me as if I was completely in the wrong. She left me to confirm that the price was shown as I had stated. This took her a great deal of time and when she returned she did not say a single word to me. She simply took her calculator to work out how much I had been overcharged, took the cash from the till and said "Here". There was not one word of apology, nor any explanation. I have never been treated with such rudeness before and for sure I will not be returning to this supermarket again! I would much rather spend my money in a supermarket where I can be treated with at least some common courtesy!

Vons cashier jule

On 11/06/2017 @ around 630am I went to the Vons on 1820 XIMENO AVE LONG BEACH CA 90815 to return an item. I was greeted by a cashier Jule. As I was standing at the customer service desk she advised me that I could get the refund by going through her line. She took the receipt and item out of my hands and proceeded to look it over. She then told me to put my Vons number into the machine in a loud and rude tone. I advised her that I didn't have it and she told me that I couldn't get a refund., still in this loud and rude tone. I returned on 11/10/2017 with the Vons number and the receipt and item to make the return. I proceeded to Jule's line as she was the only cashier again. I explained that I wanted to return the Item and she said. "AGAIN?", I expressed that I hadn't returned it the first time and she said "I KNOW BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T HAVE THE NUMBER, I said "I have it now." she then proceeded to process the refund but she slammed the receipt on the counter as well as the receipt for my information. Good customer service should be encouraged and due to this individual being rude and condescending I will never dot the door of this Vons again. I looked at the reviews on Yelp and I truly understand the rating of 2/5 stars. I'm only one person but this is one person who will not spend her dollars at Vons again.
